Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner

[Aqua]

Heather smiled again. She was impressed that someone could be so open about their powers and as pround of them as Jumper was. At least he was able to control them. But Heather didn't know the first thing about her powers. So far, she realized that in order to control powers, you need to understand what conjures them in the first place. That was the question she still didn't know, let alone understand the answer to.

Looking to Jumper she replied his answer. "So when did you come to the Xavier School?"

[Fleet]

Chewing and swallowin ghis food he sat back a bit to let it all settle. Looking to Aqua he smiled. "Well I just got here recently. It seems my parents think that this place would better suit my needs. If it wasnt for the time on the video I never would have been caught......" He blinked as he said that. Giving out a bit to much information. " So how about you girls?"

[Torri]

Torri looked downward again a little. "My mother sent me here, but probably just to rid me from her. Although i'm better off here than with her!" she said, feeling a little angry at her own words. She abandoned her food and sighed, sitting back in her chair and flopping her chin to her collarbone. "I found out one time last winter, and i guess.....my mother just found out." she sighed gently, folding her arms tightly over her stomach.

[Fleet]

Arching his brow hearing Shimmer. He leaned forward and groaned from the full stomach. "Well think abou tit this way. Since your here with us now, enjoy it and amke a fresh start of things. I dont think anyone here will judge you because you have abilies. We are all different here." He shrugged again and leaned back. "Just relax and lighten up a bit."

[Aqua]

"Yeah Tor," Heather said encouragingly. "Be happy. I mean I am. If it weren't for Ms. Frost, I would have never heard of this place." She finished her food and took a glass of water. Leaning back in her chair, Heather couldn't help but feel tired. Turkey, after all, had the reputation of doing that to those who eat it.

[Emma Frost]

"It is a pleasure to have you here Aqua, it's a pleasure to have you all here and the wonderful thing about this school is exactly what Jumper said. This place is here for us, for mutants, and everyone here has that in common. We are family here and yes, we will have our struggles, but it is good to see you all coming together to share those struggles. It's a shame not everyone chose to come to this thanksgiving table and share the food and the friendship." Emma smiled at them all and then said "Would you pass the gravy, please."

[Aqua]

Giggling at the fact that Ms. Frost when from philosophical to hungry, Heather passed the gravy bowl over. "Isn't there someone here that can levitate it over?" She blushed as she made her joke.

[Haven]

Wondering if she could, Haven tried to imagine her forcefield sliding under the gravy boat as thin as a piece of paper and lifting up the whole thing to pass it over. It didn't work....

Spilling half the gravy Haven tried to pretend it wasn't her, but then admitted to it saying "Yeah , I just wanted to do the whole levitation thing...Ooops I guess?" Haven didn't seem too upset or remorsefull about the whole thing at all.

"Well, at least I didn't spill it all." she said and slid her chair back ready to walk out if someone....anyone... said one thing to her.

[Fleet]

He looked to Havenas she spoke. "So you can actually shape that force field of yours and move it? That can be very interesting. Has anyone tested the limits of your force field yet?" Asking a bit curious, Since Haven was the only other one here that tried using her power infront of the others. "How long can you turn it off for? I mean obviously long enough to get dressed and shower and stuff. " Raising a brow as he asked.

[Colossus]

He had been quiet for sometime. Watching the couple of students that showed up as they began to socialize. He was glad that Emma had joined them as well. Knowing she was very busy getting things ready for the new students and year.He could tell Nightcrawler was going ot have his hands full with Jumper. Just like he was going to have a hard time getting Shimmer and Haven to open up more.

[Torri]

Torri couldn't help it, seeing the gravy bowl tip over and spill made her laugh, her soft high laugh that she never used in many situations. "Aw, Haven, I remember i did that once when my daddy was around, but i just used string and well, a little girl and a string pulled gravy boat didn't go down well...." she said, rocking back and forward a little in her chair before calming herself down a little and settling for giggling gently to herself.

Noticing she had been a little too loud, She immediately shrunk back on her seat and raising both her hands to her mouth. She lowered her head a little and tried to shrink into herself, but of no prevail and only sliding down in the chair a little to try and hide herself.

[Fleet]

Jumper laughed as well seeing Shimmer start to shrink away. He tried to draw some of the attention away from her so she didnt sink right under the table. He grinned and flashed her a wink. "You think thats embarrasing Haven. I was in the shower after gym class once and I slipped. And I tried to pop out of the shower to my room so I wouldnt hurt myself or look stupid, but instead I popeed into the girls locker room naked and wet. Now thats embarrasing!" Still laughing and looking around.

[Aqua]

Heather couldn't help but laugh as Haven spilled the gravy over the table. Noticing Haven getting up to leave, Heather hoped it was to clean up the mess. If Haven was only getting up to leave, she couldn't think of anything else but it being a rude gesture. She listened to the rest of the conversation. She laughed at Torri and Jumper's embarrassing stories. Heather was a bit upset as she didn't have any stories about her powers humiliating her. Well, she did, however none of them were really funny.

Heather decided to include herself in the conversation without mentioning her stories. It would definitely kill the humorous moment. "Wow Jumper," she said in between giggles. "What did the girls do?"

[Fleet]

He shrugged and waved his hand at the question like it was obvious. "What do you think? They attacked me. They couldnt keep thier hands off of me." He said confidently, though he wasnt lying. He just didnt tell the entire story. They couldnt keep thier hands off of him. Because they were ragging him out of the locker room and into the gym for everyone to laugh at him.

[Torri]

Torri shook her head, "Um...Jumper......were you not like.....really embarassed? i mean, you were....naked after all..." she said, shrinking down again and blushing perfusely. She liked being able to speak but she doubted she would be able to once this dinner was over, which made her all the more adament to have this night last for a long time.
