Jumper looked up as the two entered, his usual cocky fun smile on his lips. His mood had been lifted from earlier this afternoon and he was feeling much better. "Hey there guy's." But his smile pulled into a smirk as yet more people in this place were looking for Ember. He swore that almost the entire school was coming down with Ember fever. All he was hearing about was Ember this or Ember that. Shaking his head a bit as Lurai answered the question. Jumper had never doubted Ember being brave or anything like that, but hell others here were just as brave as well. He began to think that maybe he should start acting distant and see if everyone would start looking for him everywhere.
He just shrugged it off again, letting the others think what they want, and worry about who they wanted. As far as Jumper was concerned now, he only had to worry about one person, himself. He felt Lurai's head rest against him again and he smiled. Well maybe there was another he wanted to think about and worry about. As he thought that he held her closer to him. "Yea I told Heartstring I could check the lake for her, and it would only take a couple seconds, but she wanted to go herself."
Ian brow furrowed in confusion. Huh? Is HeartString looking for Spitfire the same reason we are? Na it can't be, she wasn't there when we found out, he thought and looked at the couple with a curious and slightly suspicious expression on his face. "HeartString? You mean that Corsair chick that healed everyone the other day? Why is she looking for Spitfire?" he asked confused completely as to why there where other people looking for her. Is she really that hard to find? Go figure Spitfire would choose to hide at a time like now. he thought before another thing came into his head.
"Wait you said the lake? Are you sure about that? I know she hates the cold and it snowed just last night. Plus it's getting dark." Ian pointed out, more baffled then before. Man she must have really lost it if she's chillin' out in the cold. I remember she said she hated it and it weakened her when she came back with the fake Haven. Wow, I just realized she ran a long way with that girl in her arms. She's stronger than she looks, he thought as he looked at the couple and took off his winter cap, since it was warm in there.
Heather nodded at Lurai's response and was about to gesture to Ian to leave. However he continued to ask Jumper questions and shrugged it off. HeartString? That girl from the hanger? She too was confused about why the healer was looking for Aideen. Did they meet or something? And how was she able to know what happened to Aideen? Maybe Cyclops or Ms. Frost spoke to her about it or something. Maybe she was able to heal the body psychologically as well as physically... Her thoughts were getting her carried away, and she brought herself back to what was currently happening.
She too was surprised to hear she was out by the lake in the cold weather. Plus being by water, didn't make the human being feel any warmer. Especially if one wanted to train or practice out there. She remembered meeting Aideen for the first time by the lake. Heather was there to draw something, however Aideen was just... hanging out there.
"Wait... Jumper isn't Aideen your team leader? Didn't she seem odd or act strangely in some way?" Jumper seemed to be oblivious about the whole thing, which didn't really bother her considering he probably didn't know what happened to the poor girl. Putting that aside, he wasn't really helping either.

Lurai shrugged her shoulders. "I really don't know. She just asked me to sniff her out and I did" Lurai said simply not really able to answer any of Ian's questions. "I'm about as out of the loop on that one as anyone. I don't really know what to say to you" she said looking up at him with an expression of remorse. She felt bad that she couldn't answer his questions but there was not much she could really do.
Ian and Heather were making her curious though as to why everyone was looking for this girl. What confused her even more was why everyone was so enthralled in this girls life. From what she understood of her she was not one to be social and slightly cold, how was it that she managed to keep all these people so close to her. It really truly amazed her and made her even more confused about the human psyche. Wolves were so easy, things were black and white, you got along or you didn't, pack was first, etc. Now things were just plane confusing and slightly depressing all the time.
Jumper looked a bit confused as well. These two were acting like finding Ember was themost important thing in the world. Again he shrugged as he was being asked all these questions. Would he ever get a break from hearing about Ember. Ember this, Ember that. Oh my god, where is Ember. He could not understand it at all. "I have no idea why Heart string is looking for her. She didn't say. But I would take Lurai's word, if she says she is by the lake, then thats where I would start looking." He responded to Ian first. There was no malice or stress in his voice, just a bit of confusion.
Then looking to Aqua as she started asking more questions, this was the second time Jumper was asked if he noticed anything odd about Ember lately. But to be honest he hadn't taken much notice, and he hadn't seen her since Practice the day before last. So looking to Aqua he replied casually. "Yea, she was the Team leader, but it seems someone else got the position. We have a new Team Leader Her name is Rogue. And the last time I saw Ember, she was her distant and cold self. She wasn't into talking or anything. I do not know what else to say." Truthfully Jumper did not know what to say, he had already offered to go to the lake twice and see if she were there. He just settled down and held Lurai close. Enjoying her company. He refused to be brought down from his good mood, especially for Ember.
Ian nodded and shook his head sadly thinking of Spitfire.... Man poor Spitfire... I really need to find her.. "Well like I got no idea why HearString is looking for her, but I know why we are." He indicated both Heather and himself. "Like I don't know how much you two know about what's goin' on and all, but it's crazy man. We found out some crazy shit about the whole battle. You know Spitfire took on that homicidal tiger dude Sabretooth all by herself? He's that guy that kicked your bro," Ian said to Puppy~Love shaking his head. "She led him away from all of us and pretty much gave herself up so the rest of us couldn't get hurt. That blew me away. I couldn't even take that Sabretooth dude on my own, and I got my super strength. I don't even wanna think about what woulda happened if he had stayed there longer than he did," Ian said shaking his head thinking of his friend. I don't care if Spitfire might hate me and threaten to burn me all the time, she's my friend still. This is all still so insane, he thought shaking his head.
"I'm glad your bro is alright Lurai, I don't even wanna think what woulda happened to him if that Sabretooth dude stuck around," he added. We should get going soon, Spitfire needs to know about Wolverine and Nightcrawler. I don't know if I shoulda told them that, but if my bro was injured by someone, I would wanna know why he wasn't hurt more.
"Yeah we met her in the genetics lab," she replied. "She seems nice." Rogue was a cool person indeed. She had that awesome hair style and accent. And the fact that she was the new Paragons leader was news to her. But if Nightcrawler is alive, why is she still needed? she thought.
As Ian began to describe Aideen's heroic acts, Heather couldn't help but shake her head in disbelief. The fire bender truly did save the school, with Haven's help unfortunately. But all of them were prevented from being sent to LIMBO. Heather just still couldn't believe that Haven was that devious; so cold hearted and mean. And the fact that she considered Aideen her friend, truly shocked her. Heather looked to Lurai at the mention of her brother Riker. She forgot about their part in the fight (since she was worried mostly about Ian the entire time), and began to feel a stab of guilt. Here they were, talking about how brave and great Aideen was; a martyr. And was was Heather? A girl occupied with keeping her crush safe... pathetic.
"She was the reason the school wasn't blown up. We would have ALL gone to LIMBO," she added softly. "Thanks to she and Haven being friends, we owe our lives to her." She wrapped her arms around herself, feeling the guilt spread slowly... painfully.
Lurai winced at the mention of her brother. She hadn't seen him yet today it was making her feel guilty. She also didn't like to think about that musclebound, no brained, kitty cat touching her brother. It infuriated her and even more reminded her of that day. Her hand traveling unconsciously to her throat, the image of magneto swirling in her head. Her smile slipped from her lips. She felt a shiver travel up her spine and cause the nerves to react in her entire body making it shake slightly. She stood up quickly and backed up slightly.
"Yes, well I'm positive she's by the lake, you might want to hurry though its getting dark" she said almost professionally. "If you'll excuse me there is someone that I need to find" she said nodding at all of them before running from the room. She needed to find her brother, she was not really being a good sister at the moment and even more a good friend. She sniffed the air slightly, but all she could smell was that blackraspberry and vanilla shampoo. She rubbed her nose putting her hands up to her face. The only person she'd be able to track now is Ember. 'Great just great' she thought putting her hands on her face. She leaned against the wall and slowly slid down pulling her knees into her body. She felt like crying, but what did crying solve. Nothing. I just wastes time.

Jumper was boiling inside at what Diesel and Aqua said, and worst yet, the only person that seemed to calm him had run off. These two were telling Jumper how much Ember did to save the school, and how because of Ember the school didn't get blown to limbo. Jumper kept his smile, though it was hard. And stood. He was about to walk away without saying anything, but stopped and looked to the two. "So your telling me that Ember saved the entire school from blowing up? Hmmmmmm " Jumper tapped his chin. "Now I was under the impression that there was a bunch of us out there fighting to protect this school and everyone in it. And I also recall that that little traitor Haven had already placed bombs in the school that a couple of us had to risk our on lives to get and get to Nightcrawler before the whole school was blown to limbo, like you said." Jumpers words were coming out strained as he was holding back his temper and the explosion in side of him.
"You are right, Ember was brave to lead whoever that was away and fight him. But it was also STUPID. Instead of trying to fight with the rest of us as a TEAM she runs off alone, and almost gets herself killed! And now everyone is all worried about poor Ember. She brought it on herself. While the rest of us were fighting to save the schoool as well. But your right I guess. Ember saved the entire school." There was a load of sarcasm in his voice at that last comment. "WHATEVER! You prescious Ember is at the lake. So why dont you go find your little savior and leave me alone!" Jumper had had it with all this talk about her. He didn't even mention all that he did during the fight, and that he was one of the ones retreiving the bombs that were in the school. That wasn't the point. He was just so angry that Ember was being praised for saving the entire school when all the others that were involved and hurt and those that worked together were being treated like they did nothing. He was about to say something else but just shook his head and walked away. His hands balled into fists. He had let someone else get to him and he had let out more of his emotions. He didn't want to do that again, but he couldn't help it. Everyone was so worried about precious Ember, that noone seemed to care or even think that anyone else involved in that fight might need some help as well. Reaching down to his dial, he turned it up and was gone in a blur. Thinking to himself. 'If they want their precious little ember so much, well they can have her. Thats all this whole school seems to care about.
Ian's fists clenched immediately and unsurprisingly that little pussy fruitcake turned his freaking dials up and left after insulting. "What a little freaking bitch. It's no surprise that he's a bitter shit. I only saw him there the last half of the fight, you think he'd be grateful that his freaking team leader saved his ass from being mince meat. Actually, na Sabretooth wouldn't choose him to eat either, like Cyclops he got the same standards for choosing people. Probably why Jumpdick wasn't chosen. The pathetic shit was obviously jealous over Ember saving the school? that's retarded if it weren't for her his ass would be in Limbo by now," Ian said with clenched fists and punched the chair that the little bitch was sitting in so hard there was a clean hole right through the middle where the moron's head had been.
He pulled his fist back, it didn't even hurt. "Why the hell is his name still Jumper anyways? He doesn't jump anywhere except from being a pussy to an attention seeking bitch. I would think at this point since those two things would combine since he does the so often. No wonder he's bitter he's not even noticable enough to have his freaking name changed cause there are more important things to do. What a pussy man, he makes an insult and leaves running like a bitch. freak that," he said and grabbed Heather's hand, careful that his grip wouldn't hurt her. "C'mon babe like he said we gotta go find precious Ember, somebody worth giving a damn about than a little pussy who's jealous he did nothing but run around like the fairy he is." What a coward. Insulting someone and then just leaving. No wonder none of the chicks seems to dig him except for a half dog. Probably uses him as a chew toy, thats all he's good for anyways, Ian thought steamed and stomped in the direction of the lake.
Heather smiled as Lurai left and waved. "Later Lurai," she said and then turned her attention back to Ian and Jumper. Her guilt was still there, burning her inside... however she thought hard about it and realized that it was a decent mistake. But still, she argued to herself. Aideen was there, making sure non of us were subjected to that MONSTER. All I did was cry about Ian. But he is my friend and I'm sure he would have done the same for me... I don't know... She stopped herself from thinking about it.
Holding herself tighter, Heather listened to Jumper's reply. She couldn't believe what he said! What?!? She IS the reason we didn't get sent to LIMBO!!! Got what has happened to him? Earlier, Heather did make the decision that Jumper had indeed changed. This one factor proved it however, since Jumper and Aideen were actually close friends when they first arrived at the school. Now Aideen was troubled and Jumper wasn't being the friend or person he use to be. Heather stood there as Jumper ranted... shocked more and more as each word escaped his mouth... bashing Aideen. After he left, Heather looked to Ian, wondering what he was thinking.
The next words that came out of this mouth clarified her wonder completely. Heather had never seen Ian so angry like that in her life. She stood there, watching him explode (rightfully so) and bit her lip. The several insults he said were beyond hilarious, but Heather was too shocked to even respond. "I... I can't believe he said that about her," she replied softly after he practically pulled her arm off by grabbing her hand. "He really has changed," she continued. "He really is... an asshole." That word was all that she was able to conclude about Jumper.
With that, she followed Ian towards the direction of the lake, still wondering why so much drama has occurred three days straight.
