Can you handle the cold?

Lorelai made another ice slide and hopped on, catching up to Iceman and nodded with a small smile. "I will," she said plainly, because she wasn't sure how much else she could say in regards to what she was getting herself into and doing. At least now the working part of class was over and everyone was going swimming, so it was all good. After catching up to Iceman, she slid up high over the small portion of grounds separating her from the lake. When she got to the lake she went by Tia sitting on the dock and gave her a wave before sliding over to an area where there wasn't a lot of people swimming around. She wasn't that high over the water, but high enough that she was safely over peoples' heads and she smirked before diving in.
Although the water was cold to everyone else, it felt nice and fine to her, almost warm but a good kind like when it was cold weather. She treaded the water for a couple minutes before deciding that she didn't necessarily want to stay in the water, so she made her way back to the shore and rung out the bottom of her camisole. She walked over to the dock to sit and chill for a bit with Tia, Sean and Kate.
Sitting down on the other side of Tia, Lorelai let her feet dangle over the dock and she leaned over to shake her wet hair slightly on her. "Hey Tia! How was your challenge? How did you do with your powers?" she asked with a smirk, sitting straight only to lean back on her hands. She wondered how that went exactly, both because she was teamed up with Kevin and she knew he was talkative, and talkative wasn't quite a good mix with Tia. That, and she wanted to know how she was handling her powers now, since Lorelai knew she had been having a little trouble before. She hoped Tia was doing better, cause she had an awesome power and to be able to use that was a very good thing. "How about you guys? Have a good class?" she asked Sean and Kate, as she looked at them from where she sat leaning back.

Through all of class, Brock had sat in the pool chair and watched the mass of kids do their little challenges all acting like monkeys. He didn't care for them, instead he just looked past them as if they were nothing more significant than ants in an ant hill that he ran over with his car. No, Brock's mind was consumed by other thoughts to amuse himself with while his beautiful prize went off to be her brilliant self. He loved the effect he had on others just by claiming something that was his anyways. There were students here that he never so much as glanced at for more than a second but they acted as if they were victimized by him. That could never be though, for Brock was very selective of the people to whom he paid attention. Most people were nothing more but insignificant bacteria to him, but there were few that were more, so much more. He was amused by the amount of people that were so desperate for attention from him that they acted as if they were worthy of being on his radar. Though Brock barely spared a glance at any of the younger kids, he did notice their reactions to him and was just tickled by them. They were amusing to him the way an unusual cloud was to others: a fleeting amusement that didn't receive a second thought. Brock let them think what they wanted, it was no concern to him either way.
His cold ice blue eyes surveyed the scene, from the weird little goth girl that attempted conversation, receiving nothing more that a cold smirk and equally cold gaze that he fixated on her until she got too uncomfortable and looked away, to his prospective toy having a 'moment' with the emotional and annoying teacher. Nothing amused him enough though, and he was rather restless, entertaining the idea of getting up to see his lovely prize. No, he told himself. I will surprise my lovely prize, allow her to miss me for awhile before I come back to her. This game we play is amusing as ever, but perhaps another step is needed to make things interesting? Maybe, just maybe...
For once, Brock stayed quiet through class, lost in morbid thoughts of his prize and all the things that were well within his right to do to her. He greatly enjoyed the fact that his prize was a challenge, a hard one at that but not something that he could not overcome. As far as Brock was concerned, she was made on this Earth for him. It was not an obsession or a fascination, it was simply a right to property. Just as one would buy a car and use it all they wanted, his prize belonged to him and he could do with her as he pleased. Brock liked the games they played, his blood surging at the fire that sparked in her sultry dark eyes from time to time, the quiet obedience to her superiors that was instilled in her did nothing to cool him down. She would one day soon realize her position in life was for him, and that same obedient nature would save Brock the trouble of breaking her into that form. She would be his second prize and ultimate one, for Brock was sure he wouldn't get bored of this one and dispose of her as he did with the other.
The only time that he moved from his seat was when Iceman yelled at them all to, and Brock would never disobey a teacher. He got up and walked to the lake on his own, the same cold look on his face as his mind swirled in those pleasantly morbid thoughts. He arrived just in time to see his prize gracefully move across the shimmering water to dock in the boathouse. Now would be a time for a surprise for that hot prize of mine. Man her ass looks good in those jeans. Too good, I'll take that as a hint for me. Waiting until nobody was watching, Brock walked to the boathouse quietly and opened the front door in time to get a great view of his prize's derriere bent over the boat. A cold sinister smirk came on his face as Brock closed the door quietly. "Hey baby, you missed me," he asked in an eerily tender voice. "Finally alone huh? I know I missed you a lot. I always miss you when you're not around."
Brock walked to stand directly behind her to take his time studying her backside. "You look as hot as ever baby, we really lucked out with each other," he said in the soft tender voice as his cold eyes raked her body. "Not gonna talk to me? Don't tell me you're still mad about the whole thing in science class? Really baby I'm fine, and now you won't have to see that hairy old freak for a whole weekend. Maybe he'll do us all a favor and get his heart ripped out once and for all. Wouldn't that be nice baby?" Brock's hand smoothed across the light scruff on his chin as his pupils dilated all the more looking at her, eyes in general growing dark in lust. Oh yea, I know how to pick em'. She's hotter than the last one.

"Waves are a good Idea," Tia muttered, agreeing with Sean and giving him a bit of a weak smile before turning around to greet Frosty. "Meh, so and so." Tia shrugged, "I could've done better I think, I just need a bit more practice. How about you? You looked like you were having fun." Tia attempted more of an enthusastic smile in Frosty's direction, flexing her arms for a second before her eyes skimmed over to the lake, where everyone seemed to be having fun splashing around. Tia smiled a bit at the scene - it looked like one of those 'happy-time' scenes from a story book or something. It sort of reminded her of her time with he family and cousins - when she felt happy and comfortable. In a way, just watching everyone made her feel fairly happy too, but still - she had no incling to go and join the happy picture.
Tia gazed upon everyone, before calling upon a bit of wind to create some gentle waves, gradually building the waves up to become bigger and bigger. The waves weren't too big, but they were big enough to send water over the heads of people who were standing off guard. Tia let out a bit of a cough-laugh as she kept most of her concentration there. "How come your old team-mates don't like you anymore?" Tia added quietly, continuing to move her hands from side to side to keep the waves going, "I don't see what's wrong with you hanging around with new people."

Ricki pushed her dripping wet hair out of her face as she swam back to Gavin, Ian and Niki. Despite all the manhandling that was being done to Ricki, she was having too much fun to bother with being mad at the moment - all of this was just all in good fun right? Why ruin the mood by going all sulky? Ricki splashed Gavin's face rolling her eyes as she placed her elbow on his shoulder. "Locking the door won't help dude," she added casually, "Rubber-girl can turn paper thin and enter through that tiny little gap in your door." Ricki winked, moving slightly to face him. She placed both her hands on his chest, swimming forwards and pushing him backwards with all the force she could apply, "Who's gonna save you now birdboy?" Ricki shot one look behind Gavin's head and spotted a wave coming their way, she gave Gavin a wink before waving and going under water and resurfacing behind Niki and Ian, watching Gavin go under in the wave.
"HEHEHEHEHEHE- OH LOOK AT THAT! That's EIGHT points for me! BIRDBOY GOT SWEPT AWAY HELPLESSLY BY A WAVE!" She grinned as she swam back to Gavin rolling her eyes - despite all the fun they were having, Ricki still had that element of worry to her, and that made sure that the fact that Gavin's wings were water-sensitive continued to bob through her mind. She paused besides her team-mate, watching him resurface. "Ehehehehe - You alright by the way?-" *giggle* "- Sorry - hope the water wasn't too harsh on your wings." she added calming her giggles down a bit. Sure she was having fun - but she didn't really want to harm her friend while doing so. She messed his hair up, before shooting a glance at his wings, and kicking off to swim back in Ian and Niki's direction. Eurgh, Uniform annoys me when I go swimming.
She blew out as she got closer to the two Acolytes, "How're you two anyways? What were you guys upto before Gavin so RUDELY gatecrashed, bringing ME down with him," she giggled as she spoke, fixing her hair a bit as she smiled at her team-mates, jumping up a bit as a wave headed their way. It felt nice to be able to talk to her team-mates, now that she thought of it - she'd never actually had like proper proper coversations with them - they'd only mostly spoken during team-practices or when she'd worked with one of them during class (which was a bit rare, seeing she'd mostly only worked with Torri).

Dante walked over to the lake, but had no plans to go in the water. He sat down on the dry grass by the and rested his arms on his knees, relaxing now that he was no longer being pelted by paint balls at high speed. He relaxed now, entertaining the idea of having a cigarette as he watched everyone play in the lake. It was different here, everyone seemed extremely in tune with each other, enjoying one another's company without a care in the world. It made Dante wonder what their lives before the school were like. There were a few he could just tell off the bat that they didn't live lives of fairies and sugar plums. All those people who may look really different at first glance had a common look about them, or maybe just a vibe that they gave off that gave the idea that they didn't have it easy in life. Then there were others that Dante had a feeling had just started experiencing some major hardships and were trying to deal with them.
All he had were his observations and his gut instinct on people to go on though, keeping his thoughts in mind as he watched them. He didn't know what this school had in store for him, what went on here or what was the expected outcome. Either way, Dante would give it a try. He didn't like that he left home and his family behind, but his pops told him that it was better for him to get away from that life. Dante had yet to see how leaving behind his entire life like that was good, but it wasn't like he could do anything about it. This was just something new for him to get used to and get through it as he did with everything else.
Sitting quietly, he took in all the students playing together and interacting in quiet observation, his eyes lingering on the girls with wet clothes plastered to their body. They looked good, and Dante had no problem sitting there quietly and watch them to his content.

The sound of the creaky door opening was the first thing that made Aideen put her guard right back up in full form, and with good reason. Rumble had an unmistakable presence when he came into a room that she knew it was him instantly. His eyes raking over her form unnerved her, his tone even more so, but she would never let him know that. Casually as ever, she finished dissembling the last of the steam engine and refused to give him any sign of the fury his words caused her. "The more I hear you talk, the more I wonder how many times you were dropped on the head as a child," she said in her soft emotionless voice. Aideen picked up the parts and stood up to put them away in one of the scrap bins, not sparing Rumble a glance.
"You are nothing more than a benign cyst on the backside of human kind, a mere annoyance with no worth whatsoever, yet you speak to me as if I would lower myself to your class. You are a classless, disillusioned boy with no honor. You are not worthy to so much as speak my name, let alone Wolverine's," she said in a soft voice that was laced with venom when she looked at him for the first time, eyes dark and cold with a blatant look of contempt behind them. That carbuncle of a male had no right, none whatsoever to say a word about Logan. She held her tongue, refusing to give him the satisfaction of getting her to snap, but she would never stay quiet.
Aideen looked at him squarely without an ounce of respect. "I made it clear to you before, that you are not man enough to handle someone like me. Continuing to think that you are a man at all in your cracked head got you so far didn't it? In the same place where you were three months ago with me: nowhere. Really? You are really thick enough to think that you will get anywhere further with me? I guarantee you that you won't succeed any further whether it be in another three months or another three years. Do yourself a favor and use the energy you spend on a hopeless quest on getting better acquainted with your hand, because your fantasy in that cracked head will be the closest you will ever get to having anything to do with me." Her voice didn't alter above the soft lilt and kept the condescending tone. "Now get out of my face, and out of my presence. I have no more time for your games and no more tolerance for looking at that beaten up ugly mug of yours." Aideen didn't falter, moving aside to clear the way for the door. She was done dealing with him for the day.

"Sweet! Waves!" K'8 said as she watched Tia whip up the surface of the water with her wind. "You are getting more confident with your power all the time. It's gotta feel great, huh?" She smiled softly at Tia. She wasn't ignorant of the fact that the now youngest combat team student didn't really care for her, but Katie was so far removed from the devil's daughter she once had behaved like. Sure she couldn't help who her dad was, but at least she was the only one who had a say in how she behaved. So she wasn't going to let it show that it bothered her when people shunned her. As far as she was concerned she probably deserved it for being such a royal pain in the ass for so many years up till now.
"Hey Lorelai," she called as she leaned forward putting a hand on Sean's knee to steady herself from falling off the dock as she sat there next to him dangling her feet in the water and playing with her loving boyfriends feet underwater. "You really looked great out there" she thrust her thumb back over her shoulder to point back to the lawn where the class had been and then threw her arm around and forward saying "and this thing you just did over the water- I'm like 'wow'. That looked like totally fun! So so cool." she grinned and winked at the pun, intended or not it was just cute enough not to be stupid, but silly it was none the less. "You and Iceman are so lucky to have someone with similar powers. It's like he gets to see himself in you and you can totally learn from him so easy, I have been watching and it's adorable to see the way you guys are together. Crush much?" she giggled as she teased the icebender.
Sitting back into Sean's embrace she leaned a head on his shoulder as she looked out into the lake. "It's a bit cold, but that looks like fun, huh Sean? I want to be able to play again" she said softly to him "I think I might not even care if I get hurt. I have been missing out on stuff and it really kinda sucks. I mean look at them all splashing and *ouch*" she flinched when Chase didn't catch Sky and the poor top-heavy girl flopped into the drink "well, ok not playing that rough a'course." Katie looked up at him and just watched him for a moment tenderly. "I'm still kinda scared you know, about my power and all, but I think like it's gonna happen someday. I can't not bleed for the rest of my life so maybe I need to get over it and just be a kid again. Not like I'm going back to cutting, but you know just" she looked back over the water and said "oh I don't know. I just feel like I'm missing out. You guys are all learning new things to do and exploring your powers and I can't be a part of it. Even the new kids had a chance and I just feel left out."
She thought about the new kids and wondered how they like their first 'powers' class. It wasn't fair really, at least not in K'8s head. She didn't ask for any of it and yet it was all her burden now. Being different from the different made her think of herself as separate still, but she didn't want it to be an awful thing like it was before. Before she met her Father, before she saw who she would become if she didn't decide to grab the rudder of her life and steer her own course. "I can do it you know. If I had to, or if I really wanted to. I'm scared but I'm not worthless- well, not worthless, that was the wrong thing to say." She looked back into Sean's eyes and screwed her lips up and to the side. "Maybe I do feel sorta worthless? I'm not sure. All I know for sure is I feel left out, like an outcast again...well, still." She shrugged her shoulders a little and looked down letting the facade of happy-go-lucky slip just ever so slightly.

The smirk on Brock's face only grew at the severe tongue lashing that came out of his prize's sexy hot mouth. "Man I picked well with you, beauty, brains, and a sharp ass tongue," he murmured looking at her with cold blue eyes darkened with lust at the presence of his prize and the mere essence of her. The fire in her eyes that he saw now fueled his blood right with the sexy soft lilt of her sultry voice, condescending or not she could never get rid of the natural sultry lilt her voice had. Brock didn't move from his spot, still admiring his fiery prize.
This right there was exactly what he was talking about when he explained it to Norrison the other night. For someone as quiet as his prize, she had a streak of fieriness that was reinforced with the dangerous, alluring aura about her. Her sharp tongue was a result of that fieriness and fire that ran through her veins. Brock loved it, he loved the challenge that came with bringing that part out of her. Looking at her now, tight jeans and a shirt that did nothing to her amazing body, and a dangerous look in her eyes that made Brock even more turned on. He wanted more of that fierceness, and was willing to try and bring it out again.
"Now don't be like that baby, we both know how much you love this little game. And I for one think we made a good deal of progress. I still feel that hot soft skin of your hip that I got a feel of the other day." The smirk deepened and a hungry look came right back in his eyes. "Face it Aideen baby, you're mine and everyone knows it. That's why all the other guys here, they look at you, they fantasize, but they never make a move or even try. And it's not just the students either. Why do you think that is? It's cause they all know that you're mine, and they don't want to touch what's not theirs." Brock moved off his spot on the wall and moved to stand behind her. He knew she wouldn't turn around, no his prize had to much pride for that.
The smirk on his face became hungrier as he breathed in her heavenly scent. Sweet and spicy at the same time, making him salivate just to be this close. "Wanna know what I get a kick out of baby? I saw ol' Scary Hairy giving you a nice long look in the beginning of Science class. He wants you baby, ain't that funny? That old hairy freak has been a pain in my ass from the second I met him, and now he wants something that's mine. Well, I just can't let that happen can I? I wonder how much his healing factor will let him breathe 200 feet under ground? I'm willing to find out," Brock said in her ear and lifted his hand to touch her cheek gently and tenderly with the back of his hand. He couldn't resist at this point. "As if that hairy little freak got a chance with you huh baby? Too beautiful for him, but perfect for me." The hot skin of her cheek fueled his hunger, the steps in the game coming together.

Lian couldn't help but laugh when Chase froze her in the air. "AH you COCKSUCKER!!" she yelled before feeling her weight give in again. The crash into the water was so refreshing (hey when you are trying to use your power to it's full potential, it takes a lot out of you- including sweat) and Lian sighed with happiness. But a second later a wad of icky lake sand entered her mouth and she stood there wide-eyed at her best friend. She was the culprit after all. "freaking bitch," she laughed back before spitting whatever was in her mouth right on Sky's shirt. "HAHAHAHAHA TAKE THAT!!" Hearing her new teammate say something about the sand, Lian chuckled and shook her head. "Yeah but since you're one of us now, ya gotta watch out. You just might wake up with half of your hair cut off."
When Lian and Sky first met, they were clearly best friends. But Sky thought it would be fun to cut a huge chunk of Lian's hair while she was sleeping since Lian took a little too much of Sky's Jack Daniels the night before. Lian smirked at the memory, since she retaliated by burning all of Sky's bras and underwear. Sky had to go commando for two months, and with her big boobs, running was definitely uncomfortable.
Lian winked to Katlyn and then returned her attention to the rest of the group in the lake. Lian looked at the other new member Glitch. He is so freaking hot!! she screamed to herself. She swam over to Sky, letting her know that she had dibs. The one problem about Lian and Sky, was that they had the exact same taste in guys. Every time they compared celebrities, they agreed on the same ones and called the rest "Ugly Hollywood Trash". But now Glitch was there, it was a battle to the death. "I got dibs," she finally whispered into her best friend's ear before nudging her head to Dante.

Chase had gone and slapped his hands together and set himself into a sort of a catcher's stance for the Sky-toss "Bring the heat babyboy. Right down the ole pike. We want a pitcher- not a belly itcher, we want a pitcher not a belly itcher, we want a pitcher not a belly itcher." he started to chant like at a ballgame. "I gotcha - I gotcha - I -" he whipped his arms away at the last second and grinned with a loud falsetto "whOOpsie!" as Sky did her splashdown. Flitting off like he was in the ballet and calling out as he pointed at a slopped face Ripple, mud and goop dribbling from her open mouth "LOOK it's swine lake."
From his tippy toes he couldn't see down to all the little people who had thumbed their nipples at him on his rise to BALLET GREATNESS and as such when a hand reached up and yanked him down by the front of his pants he fell ass over teakettle into the muck with Sky. That must have inspired her, (swine lake and all of that - because parenthesis marks are just so appropriate to put into posts- sure doesn't mess it up at all for the reader- DUUURRR). Swine lake and all of that fancy footwork was known to have that effect on the very cultured as Skylar Walker obviously was- NOT! It was OK though since he knew that even Barishnikov had found himself in the same spot.
The bite on his back was in a spot where he might have dug it if Sky didn't dig her teeth in so hard. "OWWwwch! I'm gonna bite you in your- gluurblrer gluggah glurb!" his words cut off as his head went underwater and his threat washed out to sea. Standing up he dropped her hard and fast off his back and took a few steps diving underwater. He swam away faster than anyone could have caught him, anyone aside from maybe Aqua if she was using her power to help her. Swimming was Chase's sport and his body was honed from the years at it, if he hadn't have been such a whack job he might have been Olympic caliber, but that was for other lesser people. He just had to be the class clown and get thrown off his teams or suspended when he wanted a break now and then by showing up to meets and practices swim-suitless.
He carefully and stealthily swam back and around avoiding contact with the ghostfaced splasher. Circling like a shark and in his mind the music from JAWS played over and over and over and over and over and over and over because it was only like two notes anyway so it wasn't hard to remember it. He was lurking just behind the two girls as they whispered their little thingy and saw the whole head noddiness too so he knew what was up. Instead of his 'GOTCHA!' he was going to scare them with he stood up to his full height and announcing "WHAAAT!?! YOU? REALLY!?! LIAN YOU? YOU GOT DIBS ON THE NEW GUY? OH-MY-GAWD!"
He dove backwards calling out to the land "HEY Dante! Did you know Lian has DIBS on you dude?" and laughing as he did the backstroke. Oh yea, this is gonna make for some fun stuff now. He didn't go far or fast he knew what was coming and he left himself open for it. It was all in fun and he always went too far, and then Sky would usually take it just a little farther. He readied himself for the pain, his groin was going to need some serious ice packing tonight he feared.

"BWAHAHAHAH!" Sky laughed right in Lian's face when Chase jumped out behind them and exposed Lian's plan to 'get' Dante. "AAHAHAHAH BUSTED! DANTE MAN RUN WHILE YOU CAN!" she yelled laughing in pure glee, holding her stomach and practically floating to keep herself up. "Oooh man, dibs or not your chances just went down the drain!" Sky said cracking up. Lian was never that smooth, like the time she tried to explain a wild story to Wolverine about how she swore that Nightcrawler took his beer and not her when she reeked of beer. Sky had just smacked herself in the face at the specialness of her friend, vowing never to allow Lian do the talking again.
She was fun though, a bit gullible still thinking that she had really gotten Sky back by burning her clothes. Sky was smart enough to have her parents overnight the package with her favorite sports bras and all the stuff she left at home, but she bitched at Lian for two months about it and used it as an excuse to randomly smack her in the head or punch her in the face. It took her two whole months to notice that magically Sky had underwear and bras again and yet she still hadn't why her pillow smells like bacon grease after Sky smeared it on the inside of the pillow at least once a week. That was just the way those two showed their love for each other.
Sky sat up and wiped a tear from her eye from crying so much. "Oh man, GO CHASE! SWIM FAR AND WIDE! FREE WILLY!" she yelled and cracked up again. She looked back to Kat and winked at her. "Lian here Kat, she's special. She won't notice the most obvious things, even being splashed with water. I still have a theory that her tits fell off at some point and she didn't notice," Sky said with a laugh and then spontaneously jumped on Kat's back and making her fall in the water. "This is your official welcome to the team! Noogie time!" Sky gave Kat a noogie and laughed before getting off her and diving under to avoid the retaliation as long as she could.

Niki rode Ian's hips as the waves of Tempest were upon them all. Not as though they were whitecaps or pipelines, had that been the case Ian would have probably asked Gavin to go and get his surfboard, but the steady rhythm had them undulating and it felt real good. "Well since your askin Ricki-Ticki we were doin just about this here but just a little more lip action." Niki grinned looking back into Ian's eyes and letting her hands play on his chest and shoulders, she bent in and gave him another quick kiss to demonstrate.
"Oh right, not the place for it..." she grinned as she slowly pried her lips off of his "...nice, but I know, no startin what we can't finish." Niki nodded with a raised eyebrow. "And what's with standin up for old 'electric-dyke-a-loo'? You know I don't give a shit about Hotwire, I mean c'mon. It's just the principle of it all... she's older, she oughta know better. It's not like she didn't just have her hands on my ass and thigh, so I thought she mighta liked me, or at least thought enough to be a grown up about shit. Hell, it's called personal space. And yeah...you did deserve it, but that was just disrespectful so whatever...I'm over it."
She was over it, the fact was that Niki didn't like bullshit. People that pulled bullshit had been the bane of her existence. In fact she had taken so much bullshit and been pushed so far that she had snapped and tried to kill everyone at the school. Her mind went back to the day she had left and she snickered. It was almost a chuckle that escaped her, but she held it back. She couldn't believe how much of an asshole she had been all over crap that she should have let go of. Truespirit had shown her a deeper insight into herself and she knew she didn't have to like bullshit, but that it didn't have to get to her. It was her choice so she decided to let it go.
"Gavin, you better be careful." Niki flashed her eyes his way. "Sensitive type like you? Heh, you're gonna wind up breaking a bunch of hearts and then get all weepy and 'oh I'm such a naughty boy' and then what good will you be?" She laughed a little. A tickley sort of giggle. Not because her joke was all that funny, it was just a cute playful stab at him, but Ian rocked with a wave and she felt something wonderful make a different sort of stab at her. "I can just see you writing lovesongs and crying in your cornflakes...oh how tragic." she splashed at him playfully.

Her dark eyes had been trained on the wall the entire time, refusing to let him think he was even worthy of a glance from her. Aideen focused on that spot on the wall as much as she could, chin held high through every disgusting word that left his mouth. She would not give into him, Aideen wanted to keep that control. The second he started talking about Logan, something in her snapped. She didn't want to snap, but all she saw was red for a second at that thought of that waste of a human being threatening him and putting Logan below him did it. The other things made the careful line of her temper stretch, but that just made the line snap.
"You lowlife son of a bitch." Aideen grabbed his arm and moved by pure instinct, using a balance of weight and flipped him over her hard. "Eerraagh!" ~SMASH~ ~KABOOMBARABOOM~ Rumble went flying through the wall of the boathouse and on to the the grass on top of the wood. Whether it was the rush of adrenaline that Aideen felt that gave her that kind of strength or that she just happened to throw him right at the weak spot in the wood, she didn't know and didn't care. She'd had it, and this was going to finish now.
Her eyes blazed in flames as she stepped out of the hole and walked right over to him, purposely and calmly. A fire knife formed in her hand and she threw it into the wood right in front of his crotch. "You wanted me to snap? You got your god damn wish. Get up you lowlife coward," she spat and waited for him to stand up and face her. With speed and precision, Aideen spun right into a high kick right to his face sending him back down to the ground. "You asked for it, you asked for it long beforehand and everyone got to give you their say except for me. Well now it's my turn. Stand up, I'm not finished." When Rumble stood up he was met with a punch in the gut, making him kneel over. "Do you think your declarations of ownership over me mean anything to anyone but you? The only thing you will have of me is the pain from every one of the times I hit you." Aideen took that opportunity to bring a knee right into his jaw, sending him flying back to the ground.
"I'm done allowing you to interfere with any part of my life. I'm done caring about holding back, from now on every time you touch me with any parts of your body, I'm cutting it off. And if you ever dare mention a word to me about any opinion you have of Logan or anyone else I care about, I promise you I will end your means of speech and I will have no problem taking those consequences accordingly," she said to the now disoriented Rumble. Aideen grabbed a fist of his hair and brought his face up to hers, keeping a firm grip on his head so she controlled all movement. A fire dagger formed in her hand, sharp and heavy as a real one but several hundred degrees hotter. Aideen brought the tip close to his neck right next to the jugular. He was able to feel the intense heat from the knife. "I could seal your fate and mine right now, and I won't lose a night's sleep over it. You wouldn't be the first person who died by my hands, but you'll certainly be the only one I would enjoy killing," she said in a low voice, eyes lit with fire. Aideen meant it, she wasn't trained to beat people up a little and leave them, when her Uncle ordered her to lay a hand on someone it was generally to kill or torture them. Let him open his mouth and say something stupid just once, and she'd do it.

Kevin heard what Puppy~Love said had said to Hemlok as he was tritting over to the lake and it made him stop in his tracks. He looked back to see Kris and noticed that he wasn't moving. He was just standing there and not saying a word. Hardlight didn't really care for the guy like Kris hoped he would, but he had helped him bac to his room after the tennis match when Frostbite had dictched them to join Rumble at his side. So for that reason and the fact that he too was a queen, not so flameboyant, but gay like Kris and it hurt when people made fun. He decided not to say anything to Lauri as she ran past and tackled her brother. Kevin shook his head at the thought of being able to rough play with Riker that way. It was a fantasy that he had played over and over in his mind and took great pleshure in the details of it. He rousted himself from his wandering mind and turned to face the issue at hand. "Hey Kris! You OKay?" he turned and ran over in a slowish way. He didn't want to look too excited to talk. "Uh, hey- I heard that." he nuged his head a little in a half shrug way. "What Puppy said to you. You uh, you alright? It's not cool to call names and stuff." Kevin felt kind of bad because he might have been the one who had origunally used that word for Hemclock. "I, well I think I want to say something to her. I mean she's just not all that good with manners yet, but she needs to know not to call people hurtfull names. Maybe she just doesn't know it's a slurd yet? I'm friends with her and I think it needs to be said. I wouldn't want people thinking they can call us any old thing right? Would you?" He smiled at the taller boy and put an arm around him in a sort of reluctent way, but genuine even if it took him a moment to be comfterable with it. "Come on, lets go get wet. Ya wanna?" He pointed to the lake with his boomarang and then as if noticing it as if for the first time he showed it to Kris. "I just made this for the class, check it out what do you think? It's a boomarang from Teampast's native Austrillia, oh no, my bad she's from Ireland or something I think." He grinned as he pulled Kris forward with his body weight and newly muscled up self, turning the Boomarnag over this way and that in his hand and admiering his own work too. Just then all hell broke loose. Please use the spell check ~Emma

'Saigh! jeese, you'd think these people would have better bloody manners than to just call me Queenie. Do i look like a girl? Of course not! Hell I look better than almost all of the guys here, don't you worry your pretty little head Kris; they'll get theirs ...' "Oh wah? Hey!" Losing his pensive and thoughtful expression Hemlock returned to his very bright grin. If be it for the reason just to smile at the cutie Acolyte then all would be well for him. "Nah" He sighed, looking back at the wolf siblings. Riker was a bit too feral for his liking and his sister was just ... eurgh!
"I can take it. We gotta show them we're not as weak as they all think. What happens if I turn around and show her I was hurt? Hmm? Riker already thinks I'm some kind of wimp. I could show him a thing or two and he'd be seeing them from the floor." He laughed, welcoming the gesture from the Hardlight. For all the pining he had going on for the guy, it was nice to just feel comforted once in a while. As hard as it was for Kris to admit, sometimes a girl just couldn't understand.
"You seriously think I wouldn't chance a dip? Aaaaah Kevin. One of these days we need to catch up ... if ... ye know. You're free or whatever. No pressure like. Just ... cool. Yea?" He asked, not looking down at Kevin, just putting his arm around the guys shoulder in a sort of friendly manner. He did genuinely like the guy. All that working out was seriously showing off and it was difficult to suggest some time to hang out.
Giving an appraising look at the light sculpted boomerang. Kris was actually impressed at his little comrade. Kevin had such a beautiful gift, unlike his own Kevin was able to create, not just manipulate. "It's pretty cool. And Tia? she's half British. A girl after my own country Hun. She's got one of those cute accents though. Gotta love her. She's a real sweetie when you get to know her. I've got nothing against her anyway."
"Come on Kev, lets crash this-SHIT! AAARGH! WHAT THE HELL!" He yelled out, watching Rumble crash through the wall from the boathouse. And a very furious looking Aideen on the other side of the wall. "freak!" He yelled again, not sure what he should do. He was in a state of momentary shock. He like Rumble; in a purely physical way. But ... holy crap, even this was too dangerous crazy for his liking.
