"Chopper, Austin, don't stay far behind!" Shan yelled back catching Stoney's eye and smiling, knowing that they wouldn't get far under his watch. "Come on everybody, we still have half this list to fill and then we need to load everything into the van! We got a cookout to get to so let's do this!" She was getting her kids hyped up and had to laugh as they ran all over the isle, getting the items that Shan would call out.
Their adventure at the grocery store was an adventure indeed, as it always was with that little ones. They ran all over the place, several more times nearly colliding with others and a few close calls when trying to lift objects that were on a shelf a little too high or ones that were a bit too heavy, but they got out of it in one piece. Packing the bags into the car ended up being something that Shan herself insisted be left to herself, Stoney and Torri. They didn't need ripped bags and food rolling around on the street. Torri had turned out to be a great help for Shan, and she constantly giving her more and more responsibility. She already saw the bloom of confidence in the young girl.
The drive home was just as eventful, with Stoney driving and Karma sitting in the back and keeping Chopper and Jenny from getting into another fight. They made it home just in time, because there was still a lot of preparation to do for the cookout. The little group seemed more than eager to help, especially if Stoney was making some of his delicious cookies. Their trip was for the most part a success, and Karma was proud of her little ones.
