k'8 smiled at Jasper when he came up and she quickly interjected her two cents into the conversation. "I uh, I actually told them Riker would probably have a little team gathering at lunch, but I didn't exactly say it for a fact. Just told them to be available and stuff cause you -uh- what ..are you guys.." She saw where both Jasper and Riker were looking "..looking.." and she turned her head to see for herself "..at?"
She steadied herself, not sure what to expect. The look on Riff~Raff's face was something she would be hard pressed to describe, but she'd been there with him through some thick times and in training that look always meant it was not good for whoever or whatever he was looking at. Furrowed brow and curling lip with a slight twitch in a muscle next to his nose that gave him a completely feral glare. "Ho - Lee - Crap!?!"
k'8's own face contorted for a second into confusion before a lightness from an inner smile spread through it. "One.. Two.. Three.. Four?" The demon spawner's mouth dropped open and hung there like that for a second as the four fingers of her left hand splayed out before her and her right index finger held up from the counting wavered slightly in mid air. "Did she just? She just kissed him FOUR times? Was that four?" her gaze cut quickly back and forth between the pair who were still locked in their embrace and the two guys she was standing with. "What did I miss in that class?"

It wa an understatement to say that Ricki was blushing. Her face was so hot, that she was sure if she put on her Acolyte suit and looked in the mirror, she wouldn't be able to tell her face from her suit. She was almost glad for the fact that Jax and Ana had picked this moment to mack on each other because if anyone saw her like this she'd probably faint due to embarrassment. Gavin thought he was joking when he pestered her about liking him. If only he knew. She held back a sigh, her eyes stuck to her shoes, her hair falling forward to curtain her almost-purple face. If only.
However, Ricki's discomfort on Joce and Gavin's comments didn't last all that long, considering whilst attempting to cover her face, she'd caught Heather glancing over at the three of them. Ricki could almost relate to the look that was flickering on Heather's face without even trying to. It was the same look she often wore herself when she used to see Gavin messing around with Heather. Ricki hated judge without having the whole picture, but she couldn't understand what could possibly have gone wrong between the two of them: Gavin was a really straight forward guy, who wouldn't let on more than he knew and Ricki couldn't quite understand what he could've done that would've upset Heather so much.
She knew the fault, if any, had to be on Gavin's part, atleast in Heather's eyes because Gavin was hardly the kind of guy who'd ever be bitter with anyone whom he considered to be a friend, especially one who was as close to him as Heather was. Ricki actually thought it impossible for Gavin to be bitter with anyone without damn good reason. She sighed, biting her lip as the three of them walked past the kissing couple. She'd talk to Gavin about it later on. "Erm, yeah... I just remember Ana throwing him off the table during Tech Class." she said, trying to cover for her silent moment which was bound to be fishy to anyone who knew Ricki Day. "How you get from being on someone's hit-list to kiss-list, in barely an hour and a few is beyond me."

Dor had smiled at Kitty’s scolding. Not a sarcastic ‘yeah yeah’ smile but sincere and bright sort of smile that was a promise to do better next time. He had just been distracted during class and for the first time it wasn’t because of the battery of vocalizing inanimates. He had just been focusing on different things around the room. It had been like trying to tune a radio and that had taken most of his concentration. Not that he hadn’t tried with the lie detector… he just knew he wouldn’t be able to beat it. The small chirping machine had told him so and no matter what he tried with the strange little gadget, it had laughed at him and beeped loudly each time Dor lied. Basically it had pwned him. And he hadn’t been trying to disrespect Miss Pryde, he was just soaking up the blessed silence. It was nice to just hear the mumble of students again instead of a thousand inanimates all babbling at him at once….
He couldn’t help but wolf whistle when he got into the hall and saw Chande being manhandled by the hot dark-haired number with the long legs. “Some people have all the luck,” he muttered, a smile on his face as he meandered aimlessly after the other students. There was no shortage of good looking girls. His eyes swept the hall and he grinned, strolling up behind Jocelyn, her ride, and the little blonde number blushing red beside them, catching the last of what she said.
“She might still kill him,” Dor said with his slow drawl, drawing even with Ricki. He nodded to Jocelyn and Gavin before dropping his dark gaze to the small blonde beside him. “It’s only early yet… Ah’m Dorian Jameson and it is a pleasure to meet you Erica Day.” Dor reached over as though to shake her hand but instead of merely shaking it, he brought it to his lips and brushed them quickly over the back of her hand. He was a southern gentleman, after all. Straightening up he nodded to her two companions. “Jocelyn, nice to see you again. Gavin… no offense but Ah ain’t kissin your hand.”

The corners of Jax's lips had twitched up as his arm snaked its way around Ana's waist and pulled her closer. She was feisty to the core, he was pretty sure he'd got that established into his head. He wouldn't quite ever be able to make sense of her- he knew that as well. What she said and what she felt, Jax assumed, were always two very different things, because even though she'd just very bluntly stated that this did not mean she liked him, her lips were saying something else entirely. He couldn't help but let a chuckle escape into her mouth, his other hand which'd so far just been resting on her chin made it's way up to comb it's way through her luscious hair and stop at her shoulder. "If this is you not liking me..." he whispered, breathing heavily, breaking their kiss for the shortest of moments, as he stared down into her eyes with an immensely amused look haunting his face, "... I'd love to see what you're like when you hate me." His voice reflected the amusement on his face as he cocked his head to one side again, his lips crashing into hers. He broke away once again, having noticed something while he'd broken away from her the first time around. The two of them had been so caught up in their own little world, neither had really realized that they had a crowd oogling at them from every direction. "We might wanna get the hell out of here." he breathed, loosening his grasp around her waist a little as he indicated his head slightly towards the crowd. "Just sayin'." he added with a smirk.

Johnny didn't know what to think with the strange situation. He was pretty sure that it was the same guy that Ana was giving attitude to in class, but he'd seen stranger things. Heather looked really shocked by it all, but he assumed that it being her friend she would be. "I'll ask Romon later, but I'd like that. The school is really big, I could use a guide," Johnny said trying to muster up another smile as he took a shot at being sociable and tried his best not to seem so cold since she was being nice enough to take time out of her day not just to tutor him, but also to show him around when he obviously wasn't the most approachable person.
Not that he minded spending time with her, besides the fact that she seemed really sweet, the more that Johnny glanced at her, the more he realized how truly pretty she was. There were a lot of pretty girls in the school, a fair number being in the class he was just in. Unlike her friend Ana who had the kind of looks that belonged in a magazine ad that oozed beauty and sex appeal, Heather had more wholesome looks, with a cute face, a sweet smile, and she was just so warm that even in his current state of mind, Johnny still found himself discreetly sneaking looks at her.
"Do we uh, do we start the tutoring later? Ms. Frost gave me some work that I need to catch up on, and I kinda wanna at least get it started to get it over with. I'm not the best with it," he said in a quieter voice, gauging Heather for a reaction. "It's up to you, I don't want to take you away from anything. Just let me know when you can meet." His Grandfather always taught him to be courteous, and if someone is helping you voluntarily, than you work on their time.

Blinking her light blue eyes for a moment to get herself back to reality, Ana looked up at Jax with a small smile, probably the first time she ever sincerely smiled at him... until it registered in her head what he proposed to her. "Excuse me?!" she said in an appalled and angry tone while pulling away from him and glaring at him, crossing her arms over her chest. "Is that the kind of girl you think I am? You kiss me once and I act like all other whores in school and just spread legs for you?!"
Ana poked him hard in the chest, seething again. "You best understand that I not easy slut. That I even go near you let alone kiss you mean that you are very lucky. VERY VERY LUCKY!" she yelled, not caring who heard as she was pretty damn mad. She was proud that she wasn't easy like 75% of the girls in school, and that despite being a model she didn't see a reason to give anything up to some macho meathead who thinks she's a catch. How dare Jax insinuate that she was one of those easy sluts who's concepts of morals involve informing the guy that they have an STD before they bed them.
"You WILL NOT group me in that category and you better remember that I not one of those girl like other sluts you may know!" The blue girl with the bare minimum clothing came to mind, making Ana seethe even more. <She was probably the reason that he think all girls are so easy.> She was breathing hard again, but this time from the seething anger and the odd spike of jealousy that went through her while she glared at him hard, the natural cocky look he seemed to always have made her blood boil. Her eyes moved down to his kiss swollen lips for just a second and that evil part of her conscience decided to make itself known.
<Well, you have to admit that you were really enjoying that while it lasted...>[/b] <THAT DOESN'T MATTER! That egotistical jackass thinks I'll just jump him on his command and he's got another thing coming if he thinks that just because he's attractive and knows how to kiss and has nice arms, I'll act like a tramp for it!>
A brief battle with that little part of her conscience had Ana biting her own swollen lips while she glared at him with her icy blue eyes. Finally, she grabbed his hand off her waist and laced her fingers with his as she pulled him down the hallway, still seething with anger and forgetting all about the books she left in the middle of the hallway. "This NOT mean that you get any more from me than you got in hallway. It just so happens that your mouth is only good for one thing now, and it not talking! And making out in front of everyone in hallway is tacky and classless!" Ana seethed, glaring over her shoulder at him as she pulled him down the hallway. She remembered hearing Riker talk about the empty rooms in this part that were used for storage mostly, and that's where he went to be alone with Sky or whatever other slut he associated with. Not that Ana planned to do anything they did, but an empty room was an empty room, and she needed to take the edge off at least some of the tension between them
"Oh and one more thing." She turned to face him, still glaring at him slightly as she was still offended that Jax pretty much assumed she was some easy slut. "If I hear any rumors that compromise my virtues or reputation, I WILL use my telekinesis to rip your Munaa off and feed them to the mutt outside. And do not think I not mean it!" Ana said, her free hand on the doorknob of door, while she stared up at him to let him know how serious she was about it. It was a losing battle to keep the look on her face from softening as she stared at him, since she was still mad at him. <Stupid egotistical jackass who just HAS to be a good kisser.>

Heather's clear ocean blue eyes stared down the hall as she watched Ana and Jax disappear. "Uh... huh?" she muttered, just as confused about everything as she was several seconds ago. Well I guess I'll get the books then, she thought as she played with the tips of her beach curls again. She couldn't help but find it rather funny how her best friend literally jetted out of the hallway just to make out with some guy. Heather was not against PDA, but she wasn't exactly a person who liked showing people everything either. It was something she had in common with Gavin and to her, that was a good thing.
Brushing off the initial shock, Heather sighed and smirked before returning her attention back to Johnny. "I'm sorry," she said. "This shouldn't be so surprising and yet it is." She giggled a bit, really glad she was able to feel some kind of humor since she wasn't feeling so hot during breakfast and all of last night. "We can start after lunch actually," she continued. "Kitty said I could skip French to help you out. So I'm all yours from basically now til around dinner time." Her famous warm smile came across her face, really trying to make Johnny feel comfortable around her as well as the school itself. Heather understood that she was going to have to get to know Johnny when it came to his learning skills an then progress from there. It was possible that it would be a tedious process, however she was alright with that. Helping the Acolyte wasn't any different from helping Ian or Gavin with their homework when they needed it.
Just so Ana's books wouldn't get further messed up, Heather slowly walked with Johnny towards the make out spot and began picking them up. "I'll give them to her later," she said while looking up at Johnny. "Ana's really a nice girl she just tends to not really understand American customs sometimes so she could be a mouthful... literally." She giggled at her little joke, really hoping Johnny would be able to warm up to her. He seemed like a nice guy and she didn't mind hanging out with a handsome fellow either. But she knew she needed time to even think about other guys that way.

The slight smirk on Riker's face that formed when Ana started yelling at Jax disappeared when he saw her drag him down the hallways, the pheromones emanating from the two of them were so strong that it made his lips curl in a feral growl. "Bloody %$#@in' Wanker. Who the bloody hell does he think he is? Why was his bloody disgusting tongue in her mouth? After all that shite why the bloody %$#@ would she give him a second bloody look?" he growled, trying to restrain himself from going after the couple.
He wasn't carrying a torch for Ana or anything, but she was damn special to him. He worked his damn hardest to gain her trust and worked even hard to nurse her back to health. It still killed him thinking about how frail and close to death she was at one point, and he had vowed at that point to never let her get hurt or suffer ever again, in any way or form. And now Riker had to watch some jackass that hurt her feelings something good charm her and kiss her and touch her and do things he didn't want to think about.
However, he was still an Alpha, and he needed to handle it by those standards though a part of him wanted to throw Jax into a wall. "He bloody makes her cry once, JUS' BLOODY ONCE an' I'm sinkin' me teeth into that whelp's neck," Riker muttered, forcing his eyes to move away from the direction where they went and also catching the look on K'8's face. "Dun ye look at me like that Katie lass, Ana is too good for him, an' she special. I didn' mind the bloke till now. Touchin' her like that an'... I dun bloody like it!" He scowled and marched down the hall. They better at least have me bloody rare steak fer me bloody dinner.

No one couldn't really blame Jax for bursting out laughing at Ana, even though it probably wasn't the best time for him to do so. But she was just so adorable when she was frustrated or paranoid. Sure, Jax'd been taken aback for a moment when she'd had her little yellathon at him, but the shock wore off as quickly as it came, because one moment he was being yelled at in the hallway, and the next he found himself in an enclosed room with Ana inches away from him. He hadn't in the slightest even though of bedding Ana yet. His cocky grin was spread wide across his face as he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer, his one arm snaking its way around her waist again, and the other hand tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear.
"Ana," he whispered, his voice holding a slight note of impatience as he matched her glare with a rather amused look of his own. "Believe it or not, I did not mean I wanted to bed you when I suggested getting out of there." he said, his words being followed by a few soft chuckles. "Strangely enough, we're vaguely operating on the same frequency today. I'm not big on PDA either chicka," he chuckled once more, before tapping her under the chin and lifting her face with a single finger, his lips hovering just above hers for a second before he bent down to kiss her lips softly, going in for a real slow kiss in comparison to the firecracker that'd been going on while they were in the hallway.
His lips slowly moved away from hers, planting slow kisses along her jaw line. "Besides," he whispered against her skin, his hand softly caressing her neck, "I'd hardly want a slut as a girlfriend." his lips twisted into a smirk, his eyes flickering upwards to catch the look on Ana's face. Man, his ego was flying high right now. Who would've known that two days at this place and Jax would be making out with a downright beauty in this enclosed classroom? Sure as hell it wasn't Jax. He was quite full of himself, yes, and he knew that he was attractive to most girls- but at the end of the day, even back home, Jax never had been too much of a player.
He'd only really ever been with this one other girl seriously, but things hadn't worked out because he couldn't ever reall talk to her much. He wasn't allowed to tell her he was a mutant, because he knew he'd give his parents the biggest heart attacks in the world, and even though Jax was a total family Rebel, he yet cared a little about his ma if not is father too. His lips slowly found their way back to Ana's, his eyes closed now as he slowly went in for a smooth, slow kiss. Jax was quite... uh conventional when it came to this kind of thing. He had no problem in admitting the fact that he liked to take things slow, and do all things the right way.

Alex had been hanging out leaning against the wall waiting for Leah. It was a minute or so after the rest had cleared out when she emerged and he popped up and smiled at her. "You have a good talk with Miss Kitty? She's the really fair one you know, so I hope you didn't get in trouble for me and my excitement. I only just want to make up for the, what you call it? Being a asshat?" He didn't get all the funny words in English but he wasn't unable to speak the language and he liked trying so he had that going for him. Many of the customs were kinda different but he was OK with trying to do his best to conform. They were at the back of the pack, but he talked softly anyway because she had a look on her face he was unsure of. His smile was warm and not greasy slick like sometimes when he was trying to be 'the great charmer'.
"I have the team thing at lunch but I would be happy if you were to sit with me. I want to tell you what Jasper said to me last night and make sure he is not just trying to trick me and make me to be a bigger outcast for following what he say. I trust you and I hope we are OK as friends still." He looked ahead at the commotion still happening and said. "I really am not getting what just happened. My teammates Clutch and Ram just were kissing and then they were yelling at each other too in-between the kisses. Is this normal? Plus didn't they fight earlier? Is this what it is when they say Kiss and Make out?"

"She doesn't seem so bad, just very... animated," Johnny said as he bent down and helped Heather pick up the books her friend left behind. It was actually a really amusing scene for him to witness, as he had to admire but Ana for her fiery personality and the guy for putting up with it. He gave Heather a slight smile and stood up with most of the books in his hand. His Grandfather had always taught him to be a gentleman and it was an automatic response to help her pick up and carry the books.
He shifted the pile of books in his arms and looked over at Romon. "I think he's a little disappointed. He seemed to very much admire your friend," Johnny said with a shrug and looked back over at Heather, trying to think of what to say so he didn't seem completely cold and socially awkward. A part of him still wanted to retreat back into his own world and mourn for his Grandfather, but the other part of him was actually really grateful to be getting back into a sense of normalcy with school and everything else. Johnny had it tough the last couple of years, as taking care of his Grandfather in his last year in this life was both emotionally and physically draining for him.
After all that he hadn't wanted to be a burden to anyone else, not to say that taking care of his only family had been a burden to him, but he did miss out on a lot of life as a result. Emma Frost's words rang through his head about how differently he'd feel about the whole thing once he met Heather, and she was right. There was such a sincere effort on her part to help him out that it was impossible for him to feel uncomfortable. "We can start after lunch... If that's alright," he said quietly before pausing for a moment as he managed to bring up a small smile, but sincere nonetheless. "Thank you."

In some empty room down the hall...
Ana had to give Jax credit, as short tempered as she was, he was getting pretty good at calming her down. Granted, it's because he was a damn good kisser, but this seemed to be a rare occasion where he knew just what to say to calm her down and make her put her arms around his neck and enjoy their privacy.
When the last thing he said registered for her, though Ana couldn't be blamed for not paying close attention at the time, she pulled away from his mouth and glared up at him, where even in the shadows of the room her glare was still as piercing as ever. "You better be talking about me, because if I find out you kiss me while you have a girlfriend I will-" Her words were cut off by Jax's lips back on hers, effectively shutting her up.
Unlike her friends and many others really, Ana didn't believe in the random hookup or anything like that. When she kissed someone, it was because she wanted to and it did on some level mean something to her. It would be a flat out lie to say she wouldn't be upset if she was seen as just some random hookup, even though in the two days she knew Jax she wanted to ring his neck every time she even thought of him. The point was that she wouldn't have kissed him if she didn't want to, and she didn't kiss just anyone.
For the first time probably since they met each other, they managed to spend a significant amount of time with each other without arguing, and even the occasional smile managing it's way into their quality time. As far as Ana was concerned, she was quite happy to skip a meal and spend lunchtime in an empty classroom now used for storage with him. Even though she knew the peace would be short lived, there was no better way in her mind to spend that peaceful time.

"Don't worry man, I got my hands full anyways," Gavin said absently to the Paragon while he blinked as Ana dragged Jax off somewhere. "Okay so I gotta say it, that's so not fair. Those two have been fighting like rabid animals since they met, even after he did whatever he did that let him get close enough to kiss her, and even when he pissed her off again, and he still gets hauled off to mess around. I'll say it again, WHAT the HELL?" He looked between Jocelyn and Ricki, hoping one of them would make sense of it to him. Girls were getting more and more complicated as he got older it seemed.
"Anyways, I'm pretty hungry right about now, any idea what's for lunch? I doubt we'll be seeing those two there," Gavin jerked his head in the direction of where the couple went and shook his head in disbelief again. "And then I got an afternoon free of everything, unless Ricki accepts my offer and runs away with me, which c'mon how can she not?!" He winked at Ricki and shifted Joce in his arms. He didn't have a hard time carrying her though she weighed more than other chicks he was used to, it still wasn't bad. That was probably because his body was made of pure muscle too.
"Wait a minute," Gavin said stopping abruptly in the hallway and looking over at Hoax. It just finally registered in his head what the kid said. It didn't make sense to him and then realized he said it while kissing Ricki's hand. "Who the hell is Erica?"

If Ricki had been blushing before, goodness knows what the hell was happening to her right now. She'd pretty much frozen on the spot when the new guy with curly hair had kissed her hand- not because he'd kissed her hand, but because of what he'd called her. No one at this school, with the possible exception of Emma Frost and the other teachers if they'd seen her original records, would know that her real name was infact Erica, not Ricki. She came from a really posh English family, despite having being born and bought up in Florida. Her grandma had picked the name Erica for her, but Ricki'd pretty much always hated it.
Erica Elizabeth Day. It was just far too much of a sophisticated name for someone like Ricki, the way she saw herself. Only her mother and grandmother ever called her that. She gulped, her eyes falling over to Gavin who seemed to have caught on to the name. She was simply hoping that the whole chaos with Ana and the other New Mutant would make the new guy's use of her real name irrelevant and something that simply got lost. "Um, that would be me." she muttered in a small voice, looking from Gavin, to Jocelyn to the new guy. "Erm, It's a pleasure to meet you too... uh, guy who somehow knows the name that's on my Birth Cirtificate." she blinked a good few times at him, before she turned around to look over at Gavin. "Just... please... don't." she whispered in a pleading voice, giving him her infamous puppy-eye'd look.
She knew Gavin'd get a kick out of the fact that her name was something as ridiculously posh as Erica. He already mocked the fact that she used so much british vocab in her american accent. "Uh, moving on swiftly..." she looked from Hoax to Jocelyn, right back to Gavin again. "... I'm just so hungry. Aren't you guys? C'mon, I'm sure the food'll be great as ever. And uh, yes Gavin, I will be running away with you after Lunch. A girl just can't refuse the red hair and goofy smile." With that, her and the rest of the group headed off to the Cafeteria for the duration of Lunch.
