After hearing what Kevin ordered, she agreed and got the same things. Everything on the menu looked delicious that it was hard for her to really make a choice. But what Kevin got was more than fine. Torri giggled with glee at how great everything was going. She loved French class and the fact that everyone was dressed up, to her it was like a mini prom. "Oh that would be great wouldn't it?" she asked Kevin enthusiastically. "Oh blimey I'm sorry, sometimes I think everyone is telepathic. We should have a prom!! Oh wouldn't that be wonderful?" Torri giggled some more and watched the couples on the dance floor. She loved everything and she was in a really good mood.
Standing up, Torri tipped her berrett and winked. "May I have sis dance?" she asked the Acolyte in her best French accent. "We can, 'ow you say? TANGO!" Torri knew that the music was anything but, but hey she didn't care. She wanted to dance. And if that meant making a total fool of herself well that was just fine and dandy. "Mousier I'm waiting!!" Without hesitation she pulled Kevin to the dance floor, trotting to the spot she wanted. "You may lead," she continued with the French accent and a big smile on her face.

Kris sighed in resignation, unable to stay mad at Ana anymore now that she was out here in her stunning dress, with her hair looking a lot better than it had done a while back. He placed a hand behind his back, like a handsome French gentleman woud've, pulling off the look fairly well considering he was dressed in a suit. "The lady has earned my approval," he muttered, with a reluctant smile which lingered on his face for a few moments before Kris Binchy broke out into a wide grin. "You look stunning love, and yes- let us not waste any more time!" Kris winked at his best friend, ordering for himself the tomatoes and mozerella salad with extra olives, Carbonnade (which was meat stewed in beer) "... et des profiteroles pour desért! Merci, Robert." Kris winked at Bobby, finishing his order in a perfect french accent. He turned to Ana, taking her hand in his delicately, and leading her onto the Dance floor, his arm slipping around her waist, his shoulders squaring up.
He lifted his chin confidently, standing stationary for a moment. One... two... three! Kris and Ana were moving gracefully around the Dancefloor in perfect timing to the music. One would have thought that someone had previously choreographed their dance and steps, but the truth was, that Kris had just been dancing for as long as he could really remember- his mother had ensured he'd learnt all the dance forms since he was around 7, considering they had to attend a lot of business parties as a family and his mother claimed no woman could really resist a man who could dance well. If only his mother knew, that it wasn't really the women who Kris was out to impress.
"So, my sweet Ana-" Kris whispered, effortlessly twirling Ana before bringing her back into his arms. "- would you like to give me the dirty details about you and Jax?" Kris had an eager, yet teasing look in his eyes. With Ana looking prim and proper now, his previous anger with Jax had vanished... for now. It had, instead, been replaced with eagerness and excitement to know exactly what happened with his best friend. Kris knew Ana wouldn't just snog anyone- she had to have seen something in that boy and something miraculous had to have happened for Ana to even let Jax touch her. "I want to know how Jackass turned into James Bond within one morning!"

Ricki had to say she was almost surprised that Gavin couldn't hear her Heart beating. The Coq au vin (chicken braised in red wine, lardons and mushrooms), crêpe au chocolat (chocolate crepe) and une salade de poulet (some chicken salad) that she'd ordered almost seemed like a distant memory now. From the moment Gavin had pulled her onto the Dance Floor, the only thing that seemed to be relevant to Ricki, was Gavin- and the worst part for Ricki seemed to be, that she was so aware of it. Gavin had no clue as to how bad this was for Ricki, how very very bad.
Her cheeks had flushed at his compliment, and even though she wanted to squirm out of his hold right this moment, she simply couldn't bring herself to do it. This meant something completely different to Ricki than it did to Gavin, and Ricki knew that. This was just Gavin being... Gavin. He was always the Romantic Heart-throb when he needed or wanted to be, and Ricki hated herself for falling in over her head when Gavin was concerned. Especially right now. Something had gone wrong between Gavin and Heather while they were trying to be more than just friends, and that had compromised their friendship. What Gavin needed right now, was a friend, and Ricki feeling this way... it wasn't helping at all.
"You know I'm always here for you Gavin," she said simply with a sigh, not really having it in her to come up with a smart or amusing comment to help lighten the mood. She could feel her skin tingling, even through fabric, wherever Gavin's skin came in contact with hers and it almost made her heart skip a beat. She stopped herself sighing, biting down on her lip. What was wrong with her? She couldn't allow herself to be bought down, not when a friend... a friend needed her. Now was perhaps the worst time to fall slave to her emotions- she had to keep it together in her. What mattered right now, was that Ricki played her part thoroughly as his Friend. After all, she knew, that her friendship with Gavin meant a lot more to her than some stupid title. She liked him as more than just a friend, but wasn't that was liking someone, and caring about someone was all about? Compromise?
"So, you gonna tell me what happened?" she asked, allowing Gavin to steer her on Dance Floor, hoping it'd make it easier on Gavin if he spoke about what had happened. "I can't imagine what could've possibly gone amiss."

Ivy gave Katana that small smile she'd been keeping on as she mentioned that a few things sounded pretty good on the menu, but liked best the sound of what she ordered:un croque-monsieur- simply a ham and cheese sandwich, un pot au feu- beef stew, and des éclairs. All of it sounded extremely good, and she waited for it somewhat quietly as she watched everyone else start getting up and moving around. For a moment, she looked from the others to Katana and gave another small smile, although she frowned a little when someone who looked new spoke to Katana like she was an idiot. "The food sounds really good and this 'wine' is pretty good too. What did you get again?" she asked as she resumed the small smile, to try and not feel awkward about not having said much all while sitting there, as well as get her to pay attention to something else besides what the guy had said. She didn't like making small talk and she felt bad for not having said much the whole time, but she wasn't about to get into an argument by saying something back to the guy who said Katana was a cretin. She was never confrontational.
As she for her small dishes, she leaned against the back of her chair and lightly crossed her arms over her chest, waiting in one of the positions she'd always felt comfortable. She let out a breath as she anticipated the food coming and watched as Ricki had gotten up and started dancing with Gavin. When Ricki had a moment, Ivy would definitely have to say something, or even tease her a little bit. Watching people and knowing Ricki, it seemed her cheeks were flushing quite a bit around Gavin lately, and Ivy could only think one thing from all of Ricki's actions. Ooh! She likes him! She denied it, but I knew it! Why does she never believe me? she thought with a tiny amused smirk to herself before she shook her head at it all and glanced over at some of the others.
The other beautiful people had also started dancing, and she watched them quietly as she admired their outfits, and as well as their ability to dance. Ivy'd never been much of a dancer, especially since she was afraid to dance in front of other people, so if anyone could do anything that didn't look stupid, they were already ahead of her. As she came to look at Ian and Veronika, she couldn't help feeling a twinge of jealousy, for the both of them. Veronika was young, but she had a presence about her as well as the gorgeous clothes and the ability to dance. And Ian, he was so nice and never afraid of doing anything. She'd heard about some of the stuff he'd done before, like going face-to-face with Rumble and still coming out alive. But here, he was dancing like it was nothing, and for as long as she watched, she sort of wished it could've been her dancing with him like that. It was one of those things that she could only imagine happening; it was one of those things she knew in reality probably wouldn't happen. For one, she was too scared to dance in front of everyone else, and as always she knew Ian had better things to do than try to get her to dance, or something or other.
Ivy looked away and down at the empty table save for the 'wines' before looking again at Katana. She put on that small smile to be kind, and rested her arms so that her hands were knotted together on her lap. "Are you gonna go and dance or something? It looks like fun," she said, tilting her head towards the area where the others were now dancing and having fun. If Katana went up, that would've been good for her, but Ivy didn't mind just sitting there and watching like she always did. Sometimes she did mind it, but it was what she always did, so it was manageable.

A long sigh left Gavin as he swayed to the music, leaning his chin against Ricki's head as they moved across the dance floor. "I don't know Ricki, honestly it was a mistake for me to even start it, I shoulda known better. I told Heather from the start that I suck at relationships, and she said she was cool with a casual thing," he said quietly so the conversation would stay between the two of them. "Then last night she said she wanted a relationship, and I told her that I can't do that to her. C'mon Ricki, you know Heather. She's gonna want a relationship where she gets flowers and candies, the guy takes her out on dates, and he pretty much only pays attention to her and would be the type to drop anything if she needs him to. You know as well as I do that I ain't that kinda guy."
He twirled her again as the music switched to Duke Ellington playing the instrumental version of "I'll Be Seeing You," a bittersweet song that was too deep to fit anything going on in Gavin's life, but nonetheless kept the pace that Glenn Miller's 'Moonlight Serenade' set. "I told her I suck at relationships, at least one's like that. I don't do good remembering dates and what can I say, I'm just not what Heather's looking for and I knew that from the start. Just kinda wish I'd have just said to stay friends in the first place, but I guess it woulda caused a rift in our friendship anyways," Gavin said spinning Ricki away from him and then slowly spinning her back in, arm around her waist as he maneuvered her back in a small dip, holding on to her tightly.
"Look at that, you got dipped by the handsome, dashing and suave rockstar with wings. You'll be the envy of everyone! How scandalous!" He laughed and pulled her up to him, his mind leaving the potentially ruined friendship between Heather and him as he just enjoyed their closeness. One of the many things he liked about Ricki was that it was like no matter how bummed he was, she'd do something silly or say something that made him laugh. He was sad that him and Heather can't ever be friends like they once were, but he was pretty content with the friends he had.

Romon smiled at the younger girl as he looked over the menu. "The best one's are always worth the trouble, but she just seemed very nice," he said, eyes roaming to the beautiful tall model as she danced with her friend, looking like she just stepped out of a magazine. "I believe she is spoken for, and I have no intentions of breaking anything up for anyone. Excuse me, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Romon." He held out his hand and shook the small girl's hand in greeting before taking a sip of the 'red wine' that Bobby poured them after ordering a Gratinée de Coquille St Jacques to start, a Lobster Bisque for a soup, Carpaccio de Boeuf and for dessert, he chose the Creme Brulee, as it was one of his favorite desserts of all time.
His foot tapped to the music and he smiled, as music and dancing was a large part of his heritage and his culture. Capoeira was centered along music and dance, as well as martial arts, and hearing the music did give him an urge to dance. "I have a question for you," Romon said looking at the girl. "First know that I am a decent dancer, and your feet will not be stepped on in any way or form. Now I ask you, would it be a complete waste of time to ask you to dance, or am I in luck and you will smile and accept my offer?"
She may not be the most talkative or even the friendliest, but Romon kind of liked that she was a bit different from the others and she was a lady in the making, which he could always appreciate. The way she acted kind of reminded him of his younger sister, who had adapted recently an apathetic attitude herself.

Ricki couldn't help but giggle a little at Gavin, even though it was slightly half-hearted. "Ah! Je me sens comme la fille la plus chanceuse au monde!" Ricki said, in an exaggerated high voice, in the best french accent she could pull off. "But.. but.." she tipped her head back to look up at Gavin with mock puppy dog eyes, "- my friends will never believe me when I tell them I got dipped by the almighty Gavin Croft! Would you take a picture with me, and autograph it for me?" she attempted keeping a straight face, but ended up falling into soft, light giggles, resting her head against his chest. This closeness, it was so comfortable. So easy. So natural.
The unfortunate part was, that it was also beginning to intoxicate Ricki, but she refused to give in to the infatuation. This is exactly what had ruined things between Gavin and Heather, and Ricki was no where near ready to give up her friendship with Gavin. Gavin meant a lot to her and Ricki'd always known he wasn't the dating kinda guy- which is why she'd denied her feelings for him for so long. Not that Ricki was even thinking about a very serious relationship with Gavin, but who could blame her for just wanting the comforting thought at the back of her mind, that a Handsome Rockstar, who was a genuine Sweetheart, wanted her and cared for her?
Mind you, Ricki knew that Gavin still cared for her and about her. "Well, I'm sure thing's will get better in time," Ricki muttered into his neck, "No one can really stay mad at that goofy face of yours for too long." she said, a small reluctant smile creeping it's way onto her face and slowly widening. It was true, what Ricki'd said. She couldn't possibly see how anyone could stand not speaking to Gavin. She herself, was a good example. She'd started the day, with the thought in mind that she'd probably try to avoid Gavin for as long as she could, in hope that it would somehow make it be, that her feelings didn't exist.
And yet here she was, in his arms, dancing in a setting that could very easily have passed for the most Romantic City in the World. Ricki and Heather, were almost like two shades of the same colour. They were quite similar in a way, but there were these tiny details about each one, that made them seem like they were completely different from one another. Ricki knew for a fact, that if Heather felt anything like she did, towards Gavin, not speaking to him and avoiding him was one hell of a feat, one that was probably weighing heavily on her. It made Ricki want to flinch- the very thought of what it must be like to feel what Heather was feeling right now, but even Ricki couldn't ignore the fact that Heather had, in a way, bought it upon herself.

Falling right along into the silliness Torri had begun Kevin's wide grin lit the room as he had announced "I LOVE ze TANGO!" and even though he had no idea how to do it right he just went about doing what he had seen in so many old movies that he loved. He was a huge Danny Kaye fan and so he decided Oh what the hey and was going to have a blast.
"I am reminded of le time dancing on le banks of La Seine" he tried the accent she was playing at and then looked at her in hopes she would capitulate "recall-ett-vous?" He giggled at their silliness as he pulled her tight and stuck their forward arms out and did his best leading them across the floor and then back in the Tango, even though the music was all wrong. What did he care it was all for fun anyway, if he could have had one of the boys to dance with he would have taken any one of them, but it was just ducky no matter what anyways.
Back and forth and around the dancefloor and through the middle of the whole affair the pair had spun and done their best to have fun. He tried to dip her but he lost his balance and they both tumbled over in a silly tiny heap. "OH- oh boy!" He could barely speak between the giggles he shared with his dance partner. He had to admit to himself right then that Torri was not that bad a kid. She was sweet and funny and really gave her heart into what she was doing, as the couple of times she had just tried to lead and he'd let her would attest to. "Oh wow- I must say mademoiselle, you fall divinely. I will have to polish my moves before the prom I think, oui?"
"Oh garcon?" He called over politely to Bobby "Pardon et moi?" he was tring to get his attention but in the meantime he looked at Torri and wiggled his eyebrows up and down "le rouge mon ami? Garcon deux rouge vin?" He thought a moment "Nooo that's all wrong isn't it, hmmm. Two red wines please?" He knew he'd goofed it but he didn't think Iceman would mind, Karma on the other hand-? So, glancing back to see if she was looking at the pair that had fallen he corrected himself, and in as perfect an accent as he could sustain from the tangled heap on the floor he said confidently "Monsieur, deux vins rouges s'il vous plaît."

A scoff escaped Ana as she folded into Kris when he spun her. "James Bond? Hardly," she said, though the smile never left her face. "He actually apologize to me. It was strange though, cause first I think it was only because Riker tell him to so he not be kicked off New Mutants, but then he say no, that he just sorry for making me upset. And look Kris you will be proud of me, I tell him that I know apologize for how I feel and I cannot be mad for him thinking I ugly and malnourished. You see I did try to do how you say to." She looked at Kris with her chin stuck out to prove that she does actually listen when he tries to give her advice. "It make him angry I think, but he just grabbed me, make me spill books all over hallway, and he kiss me! Just like that!" Ana exclaimed with wide eyes.
It was easy for her to talk and dance at the same time, as Kris was an excellent dancer and Ana had the classes when she was younger as well, for all the wealthy kids were required to learn to be more well rounded and worthy of their elite status. She knew enough to just follow the lead of the man and move fluidly with him. "Can you believe it? He actually kiss me just like that? I was shock!" It was a very truthful statement, for Ana knew quite well how intimidating she could be and that it took a lot of guts for anyone, let alone someone she couldn't stand, to do that to her. "Anyway, I hate say this but it did make me realize why he just always bothered me and why it like that from moment we meet. We have that, oh what do you call it, that instant attraction or sparks or something like this. Maybe that why I no like him when I meet him," she said thoughtfully.
"I yell at him and he kiss me again, and well, this time I kiss back..." A blush tinted Ana's cheek as she quietly gossiped with her best friend. Seeing the look on Kris's face, she bit her lip and gave him a pointed look of protest. "It not my fault! He a good kisser!" Her blush only deepened and at this point she could only giggle at herself. "Oh my this was strange day. What are they saying about me around school? Do people think of me as trollop now?" Her eyes had an alarmed look to them as she allowed Kris to pull her into another spin out and then back in. Ana now felt a little stupid as she realized that her reputation might seriously have been compromised and she joined all the other two bit sluts in the school.

"Merci beaucoup Monsieur, Shan said right away and accepted the young Southern gentleman's offer to dance, taking his hand and allowing herself to be swept onto the dance floor. She loved to dance, but it was something she acquired recently as opposed to early on in life. For a long time, she was so shy that the idea of dancing in front of herself let alone other people made her sick from nerves. One Professor Xavier took her into the X-Men and she really had a chance to develop, Bobby and Paige got her to try dancing, and she ended up loving it.
It was a no brainer dancing with Dor, for he seemed to know what he was doing and leading extremely well, so all Shan had to do was follow along. "Monsieur, you are quite light on your feet," she said falling into a neat spin with a smile, the grin on her face wide at everyone having a good time. Well, almost everyone.
Shan knew better than most what it's like to be the outcast of the group, first with being Vietnamese, than with being a mutant, and finally for being a lesbian. She faced discrimination at every corner, but once she started liking herself as a person, that was when things finally started to go better for herself. She could only hope that it would be the same for them. "Très bon Kevin! Your accent is getting quite good!" Shan complimented the little blonde boy that was just finally starting to like himself as well.

A content sigh left Veronika as she rested her head against Ian's large chest, her eyes fluttering close as she allowed herself to be swept up in the atmosphere and the very essence of romance which came with Paris. "You are a wonderful dancer Ian, do not let anyone tell you that you are not," she said squeezing his large muscled shoulder with her petite and slender hand. There had been moments when Veronika entertained the idea of taking Ian for herself, as someone to play with for a couple of years until she turned seventeen and could have Brock Van Alstyne, but she realized that it could be a risky move, if only for the sake that Heather used to have a big crush on him, and she needed her blonde friend totally enthralled by her, as she would with her other friends.
Veronika gave him a brilliant smile as she followed his lead into a gentle spin, coming back into him and having no problem just letting herself float to the music with a handsome boy leading the way. "Thank you so much for yesterday Ian. What you did for Liv, that was very sweet," she said sweetly, looking up at him and giving her the best sweet smile she could. Oh, this is almost like child's play with him, I almost feel bad. Almost though, he could prove to be very useful to me. "I just hate that the new girl on our team, whom I actually like, had to go through that. It's truly sickening. Thank god there are knight's in shining armor like you around." She leaned up on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek lightly and gave him a dazzling smile before she continued to allow him to lead her around the dance floor.
His hand on her slim curved in waist felt so lovely, strong and yet with a gentle touch. Veronika often entertained the idea of them as a couple, but he lacked the upbringing and sophistication that she required from her suitors. She was by no means an easy girl to handle or please, but in addition she had a long set of standards that were not negotiable. Looking up at his handsome and sweet face, she knew right away he wouldn't know the first place how to handle her, but her little games were more than satisfying.

"Just soup and salad" Katana said lightly. "Had trouble choosing an entree. But that stew you ordered sounds good." Everything else is just weird. That's why she had gone for the salad. A few leaves and some cheese probably wouldn't come out with some pungent sauce that tasted funny. And it certainly had to beat escargots. The new kid could call her a cretin all he wanted, but she was not going to eat snails. Really. How many French people still eat them? It's traditional. As in, in the old days they were all so f*cking broke they had to eat them or starve. Now some pompous ass eats them to show how sophisticated he is. Has to be the same thing with frogs legs. "I don't really eat a lot of French food."
And then there was nothing more to say. Katana fiddled with her napkin and pretended not to look at Ivy who thankfully seemed oblivious sitting back in her chair and watching the other kids dance. Katana turned to watch them too. She'd never really been to a dance. She'd gone to seedy clubs but that wasn't the same thing at all. She was struck by how graceful it was. For a moment she tried to follow Veronica's footsteps as she danced with Ian. A twinge of envy went through her. She couldn't dance like that in a million years or compete with the girl in any other way. But then she wouldn't be happy living like Veronica so it was kind of silly to get envious. As long as we don't get graded on dancing, who cares. She looked at Kevin and Torri. They seem to be having fun. I could do that.
So when Ivy asked her if she might dance, Katana replied. "Maybe if somebody wanted to dance with me. I'll look like an idiot but you're right, it could be fun."

"Yea," Gavin said with a sigh, resting his chin against the side of Ricki's head. "Time is supposed to make things better." He moved to the music with her easily, feeling comforted as a whole at the moment. True, he did feel a little stupid for getting involved with Heather as something other than a friendship, but for whatever reason, okay well he knew the reason it was cause she was really damn pretty, and he doubted that there wasn't a guy in the school that thought about messing around with her. He needed to start thinking with the head on his neck from now on, cause the other one just got him into trouble.
"You know, when my ex dumped me, my mom told me that life is like a ballroom. You go from one partner to the next as your life's speed alternates between fast and slow. Rather than try and predict, the best thing to do is just dance to whatever comes at you," Gavin said in a low voice, swaying her to the music as his own eyes lowered, letting himself get lost in that world with just the two of them for a second. "That's all we gotta do then, just dance." He squeezed her waist softly and sighed as they moved together.
Gavin knew he could be a goof, but he cared a whole lot for his friends, and it did get to him when he had a falling out with one of them. Few things could take his problems away for a bit, but he found that dancing with Ricki was a good way to start. He twirled her out and then pulled her back tight in another twirl, laughing as she spun right into his chest and making him grunt. "You Mademoiselle, have poor coordination. If we did any of that fancy swing stuff and I threw you around, you'd probably get tangled up with your own limbs." Gavin laughed and spun her around right back into him again. "Silly Rubber girl."

Even though Tia would've loved to turn the male who she sat with down, and just watched everyone in her solitude, but not everythig could be the way Tia wanted it to be. Veronika was spending a lot of time with Tia, sculpting her into a lady. And it was common courtesy to agree to atleast one dance, if asked. Veronika had always told Tia to remember the fact that first impressions were important, even though Tia had initally begged to differ. It was important that you set a good image with everyone, no matter how you really felt about them, because you never know when you may need their assistance in any way or form.
"I wouldn't wait on the smile," Tia stated indifferently, looking over at the male with a blank look: expressing emotion was simply something Tia wasn't good at, not even if she was trying to pretend- which is why her and Veornika'd decided that it was about time Tia started attending Nightcrawler's classes. Tia respected her team-leader but she honestly had never been someone who had the slightest interest in drama. In all honesty, Tia hardly even watched movies, unless she was with the group. "But you're not completely out of luck, I'm sure one dance wouldn't hurt anybody."
Tia stood up from where she was sat, allowing Romon to lead her off to the dance floor once she'd ordered herself "Une salade verte avec un verre de vin roughe, seulement, sil vous plait, monsieur. in a perfect French accent. Tia had been to the city countless times, hence knew the language fairly well and had the accent wrapped around her little finger. "I'm Tia," she added as the two stepped out onto the dance floor, giving Romon the liscence to steer them. Dancing in this atmosphere bought back memories from Tia's countless visits to Paris with her Family, and dancing with Romon, reminded Tia a little of dancing with her elder brother, who was perhaps the one person who knew Tia better than anyone else in the world.

Kris giggled at Ana, pulling her close to him and kissing her hair. "Oh Ana love, you amuse me." Kris snickered again, swaying with Ana to the softer music that had started playing, his previous frustration and curiosity being replaced with amusement and excitement. "No one thinks of you a trollop, sweety." Kris giggled again, sighing softly into his best friend's hair. "Everyone's actually rather shocked that our new ethnic hottie has lived to see the rest of today. I daresay, when I heard the news at Lunch I refused to believe it! But then you and him walk into French, looking so... well, let's just say, it didn't exactly look like the two of you had been doing History homework."
Kris shook his head, before grabbing Ana's waist and lifting and spinning her in time with the music. "But my, I must say, I'm actually rather excited for you Ana dear!" Kris grinned at Ana as he set her back on her feet, twirling her elegantly and pulling her back into a standard waltz position. "This is actually so lovely! Unexpected, I must say, despite the fact that I should have caught onto the fact that you cared about his opinion a little more than the average person, and called him names, which you don't normally do unless you deep down like them-" Kris paused for a breather, winking at Veronika and Ian, as him and Ana passed the duo on the Dancefloor, considering the two were making good use of the space they had, twirling in and out of people all the time. "but, yet! Oh, I actually approve of him, mind you, I do not want him messing up any more of your hairstyles! There's other places where his hands can rest while you two are snogging one another," Kris gave Ana a warning look, but there was a distinct playfulness in his expression.
He was genuinely so happy for his friend, that she'd actually found someone who she liked. Kris knew Ana was a girl who was in for serious relationships, and that she wouldn't just kiss any man, no matter how attractive she found them, unless she was sure she was in it for long term. Ana was by no standards easy, and Kris had to say he was rather impressed by this Jax persona, that he'd managed to impress his high class best friend so quickly.
