Ian watched her carefully with a frown as she related the whole story of what happened with her friends. That was some real bullshit right there, people really needed to get over themselves. Lorelai was an awesome girl and a lot of fun to be around with, and anyone who didn't see that just cause she was a mutant were people who needed to take their heads out of their rectums. Ian hugged her close to him and moved one hand to take hers. He laced his large fingers with hers and gently squeezed it, at least he hoped it was gentle.
"You don't need them babe. People like that just aren't worth it. Cause you are an awesome chick, your fun and funny and a looker. If they can't look past your mutation and see that, then they aren't worth it. Besides babe, your mutation is like a part of you and all. Don't be ashamed of it cause some people are ignorant," Ian said and gave her a lopsided smile. He brought their interlaced hands up and used it to tilt up Lorelai's chin. He leaned down and gave her a long reassuring kiss.
When they broke away after awhile, Ian looked down at her and grinned. "Their loss babe. Now I get you all for me," he added with a silly grin, wanting her to smile again.

Lorelai smiled a little as she was hugged to Ian and felt as one of his hands took hers and intertwined their fingers. She leaned into him more as he spoke, but looked at him and returned his lopsided smile, feeling a bit better. She felt him lift up her chin with their hands and then smiled into the kiss as she returned it, feeling a lot better and let her free hand that no longer fidgeted softly touch his face as the kiss lasted.
When they broke away, she returned his grin, and let it grow as he spoke again, feeling completely better. She loved how he could make her feel better, and he didn't even have to do so much, just simply a kiss and a few words. "That's right, I'm all yours. And the other way around too," she said with a playful smirk, biting her lip as she gave him a quick peck on the lips and then giggled. "I like this spot now," she laughed, "Good views and even better company," she said, looking at him with a goofy smile.

"Course babe, you won't find better company no where else," Ian said with a big grin on his face. He kept one arm comfortably around her waist and reached his other hand up to pull them both to their feet easily. He turned them to the window and looked out at the destruction from the previous day's battle. It was an insane day. Ian glanced down at Lorlai and gave her a soft smile.
"Pipsqueek, if you ever scare me like that the way you scared me yesterday babe.... well I dunno what I'll do but it wont be pretty I promise you that," he said in light humor, though it still gave him a chill to think how scared he was when she had been stuck in the flames and burned all over. Yesterday was just plain nuts and it sucked cause he knew there would be more run ins with the Brotherhood and even more situations where they were all in danger as they were yesterday. But Ian would protect his friends best as he could.

Lorelai grinned and laughed, nodding in agreement. "I'd say," she laughed, "And quite frankly, I'm glad since you're a bajillion times better than what was back at home," she said, smiling at him. She felt him pull both of them up so that they could stand. She looked up at him as he turned them to look out the window, and then followed his gaze, seeing how bad the front of the school looked especially. A lot of damage had been done yesterday and remembering the fighting and how she felt scared and worried but determined was fresh in her mind.
She turned to look at Ian as he spoke, and gave him a slight smile. She knew he was trying to play it lightly but she knew there was a serious undertone to it. "I know, I'll try not to, as long as you don't get yourself blown up or shot or anything, even though you can heal quickly enough. You had me scared too you know," she said, remembering how he had been knocked completely unconscious a couple of times and shot in both kneecaps and things and how it scared her. It seemed obvious that after that lucky defeat of the Brotherhood that they'd probably come back with a vengeance, and they'd all probably fight again, whether they're ready or not, and she'd sure as hell try to help her friends as best as her abilities would allow. But for now she wanted to bask in the peace before another impending fight that was bound to happen.

Kevin had to find Diesel, he still wanted to apologise to him for what he did during practice and when he found the two teammates up in the observation tower he was happy his hours of searching were over. "Sorry if this is a bad time, but I just keep making mistakes." he shrugged and smiled at them each in a embarased way.
"I wanted to apoligise to you Diesel cause, well like I said to Frostbite before at practice I got carried away and I was a little mad at Colossus. He reminds me of my dad who hates me for a bunch of stuff and for being a mutant too." he came closer to them and he knew he shouldn't overstay his welcome, but that guy had such a great body he was too cool and Kevin wanted to just get closer and absorb as much of him and his presence that he could. He didn't know when he might get a chance to spend time with him again.
"So, um yeah, I think it's important to be a strong team and I don't want to have you hating on me at all, you seem really really cool Diesel" Kevin was fawning over the boy, but he didn't realize how it looked, he was in a daze kinda and wanted 'what's her name' to go away even though he liked her and she was his friend too, he still wanted to just think that he could hang out with Ian and he wanted to memorize his features.

Ian looked up from nuzzling Lorelai's neck to see Hardlight walk in and begin apologizing. Well so much for alone time. He wanted to spend some time with her and maybe... oh well make out with his girl and not offend anyone else with public displays of affection. But that looked over. Though maybe he won't stick around for too long. The little dude just wanted to apologize though he didn't pick a very convenient time.
Ian sighed and kept his arms around Lorelai's waist and rubbed her sides, knowing she probably would not be too happy with an interruption. He gave him a smile, trying not to look too exasperated. "It's cool man, feelings get the best of all of us sometimes. No sweat," he said easily as he looked down at Lorelai and winked at her and gave her an adoring smile.

Lorelai was smiling and feeling comfortably happy talking with Ian and liked that he nuzzled her neck, but hearing footsteps that came from neither him nor her made her look away from her boyfriend to see Hardlight there, apologizing to Ian. She was glad that he was trying to make an effort to amend with his team, but did he have to choose now to apologize to Ian? She had been quite content with how things were and was even looking forward to say...making out with her boyfriend or something but it didn't seem that would happen now.
One could imagine she wasn't so happy now due to this interruption, and she could tell Ian was trying to keep her calm when she felt him rub her sides, though she still couldn't help but be the least bit annoyed that Hardlight had intruded on them. She looked up at Ian and returned his smile with a kind of small one; she had to force it a bit since she was getting a bit mad. She forced another one at her new friend and slowly exhaled, already feeling the temperature in the room going down a little. "Yeah, sometimes we go a bit over..." she said in agreement, glancing at Ian as she leaned into him a bit and rested her arms around his middle to help keep her composure.

"So, are you two just talking?" he knew what they were doing but he didn't want to let it happen in a way. He was jelous and he wanted to have a guy to wrap his arms around and watch sunsets with. It wasn't fair at all really when he thought about it because he was cute and he was fun, he was just not Ian's type or Riker's either for that matter.
When he realized how much they wanted him to leave he almost wanted to stay that much more, he said "Wow, it is quite a view from up here, you think?"

Ian chuckled a bit at Hardlight's question. "Yea talkin' more or less. You know how it goes man," Ian said with a big grin and looked back at Lorelai to give her a wink and an adoring grin. Ah well, even if their alone time was interrupted at least there were no teachers around and he could at least hold her comfortably. Hardlight must be desperate for friends and it was cool, all three of them were teammates and all. And the little dude didn't look like he would leave. They could always find some time later.
Ian turned his head and looked out at ther view of the sunset and nodded in agreement. "Yea its pretty chill up here. Me and Pipsqueek like it just fine, right babe?" Ian said giving her an easy grin and tightened his hold on her. He wanted her to calm down. The poor little guy just wanted some friends.

Lorelai smirked a bit as Ian answered Hardlight's first question. They could be doing a bit more if he wasn't there, she had thought. She didn't like being a bit of a hothead so to speak, but she still wasn't the calmest she could be, but she smiled in return of Ian's grin, slightly appeased. She knew Hardlight had some trouble making friends, and though she wanted to help him and be his friend, she still couldn't help thinking that it was kind of his own fault people stayed away from him, and also that he could've picked a better time to talk to Ian and herself when they weren't trying to have alone time.
Seeing that he obviously not about to leave, she exhaled again, trying to keep herself calm though she knew the temperature in the room dropped a bit more. She put on another smile as Ian spoke to her, and she nodded. "Yeah, it's got awesome views from here," she said, feeling him tighten his grip on her. He knew she was getting annoyed and was trying to calm her down, and she was trying to keep control as well, and as much as she wished she wasn't so easily angered, she was still trying nonetheless. But if Hardlight was doing this to piss her off on purpose, she wouldn't hold back this time.

"You guys are too nice, I think I'll go. I don't want to mess up your night, sorry again." He felt so bad, he didn't really know why he had stayed or even why he had interrupted them, because before he walked up and spoke he had seen them in their embrace. "I, uh, I'm sorry." He felt so shitty right now.
'Why do you do such jerk ass stuff Kevin?' he asked himself as he turned to leave. " stupid-stupid-stupid " he said under his breath and then he turned back as he was at the door and said "I feel like a jerk for interrupting, I am really sorry."
'Well Kev, that's why people don't like you. You idiot!' he screamed inside. All he wanted to do was jump out the window right now, he felt so bad. 'Howcome I do that? I need a boyfriend to keep me occupied, too bad that's not gonna happen here, you are totally alone just deal with it' he thought.

Lorelai had kept breathing to keep herself calm and kept up her smile, trying to be pleasant. She looked at Hardlight a bit confusedly, seeming to change his mind or something when he said he'd leave. He seemed like he had wanted to stay, whether it was to talk to them or piss her off or whatever, but she guessed not. This definitely made her less annoyed, and she then couldn't help but feel a bit bad as he kept apologizing for coming in. She knew he needed friends to be there for him, and she would be to the best of her abilities, but she only slightly wished he had better timing.
She heard him mutter under his breath, though she really didn't catch what he said. She watched as he made his way to the door and apologized again. Lorelai didn't feel so mad anymore; she had calmed down, "It's okay," she said even though she knew herself well enough to know she wouldn't appreciate it happening again, but she was being her kind self in saying it anyway. "Really. Maybe we could all hang out later or something," she suggested quietly with a smile before he left. At least then it would be planned and things. Turning her head to Ian, she smiled a bit more as she saw Hardlight willing to leave and saw that she was already calming down; thankfully she managed to control herself, with Ian's help of course. She tightened her arms around him as she gave him a hug and then loosened them as to not be rude to Hardlight who seemed to be having issues with them being in each other's arms.

"Yes, that's better. A great idea really, we can all watch a movie or something, but the sunset is looking pretty and I know I would want to watch it with someone I loved without some little jerk wreckin it for me, so I'll catch you guys later." he waved and smiled then he walked down the spiraling staircase along the edge of the wall.

Ian looked at Hardlight confused as to why he looked so ashamed and all, but then again he must feel like a major third wheel. It must have sucked to be the dude without a girl and all. Ian smiled at him lightly and removed his arm from Lorelai's waist so he could wave at Hardlight. "Okay dude, take care of yourself and we'll all chill later," he called out with a smile before he replaced his arm around Lorelai's waist and full on leaned down to kiss her softly.
"Looks like its just me and you again Pipsqueek," he said with an easy grin as he looked down at her blue haired girlfriend. "You wanna stay up here and watch the sunset?" He asked her as he rested his head on top of hers.

Lorelai waved a bit as Hardlight left, nodding to his suggestion, and then as he disappeared from sight she turned back to Ian with a warm smile. She lifted her head up to meet his as he leant down to kiss her, letting a little sigh escape as she moved her arms to wrap around his neck for the moment. When they pulled away, she let her hands rest on his shoulders as he spoke. She nodded in agreement and returned the grin. "Yeah, if you don't mind," she answered as he rested his head on top of hers.
"Is my head a good cushion or something?" she asked jokingly with a smirk. "I don't mind it though, you make a very comfortable seat," she laughed as she looked out the window and watched the now setting sun.
