Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner

[Fleet]

Looking over to the girl who just hit the floor he grinned and leaned up a bit. "Hey, I just show up and Im sweeping girls off their feet. You alright down there?" There ws a smirk on his lips as he lookedover to the other. " By the way. Im Kyle, or as Ihave been named Jumper"

[Colossus]

After fixing the table and rtrieving another chair for Haven he placed a large slice of turkey on her plate. "Relax Haven. We are all friends and safe here. You will get used to those who seem to just pop in and out of here."

[Haven]

"Hope so big guy, hey thanks." She said as she tried to act like she wasn't embarased, putting up a tough fascade, but blushing. The flush on her cheeks was rather prominent against all the albino~white of her features.

"Hi Jumper- get that name from causing people to jump out of their skin?" She tried to play it off with a joke.

[Fleet]

Laughing a bit as he was making his large plate of food. He winked ot the girl." Well you tell me. So whats you name?" He asked and kept looking around. He didnt seem like he could really sit still to long without moving.

[Haven]

"Nik- uh, Haven is my name." She sat up a little straighter and smiled at him. "Are you really gonna eat all of that ?" She asked marveling at the sheer volume of food he had piled on his plate

[Fleet]

Finally placing the last bit on his plate as he settled in and picked up a fork and knife. He looked back over to Haven and nodded as if it were nothing. "Well yea. We are supposed to eat a lot on a day like this. This should do for my first plate." Kyle always ate like this though. He seemed to burn up a lot of calories and could always eat like a mad man. But it never seemed to show on his body. He always worked out, but even that wouldnt account for him not gaining any weight from the way he ate. "You better hurry up and get some food on you plate." He didnt look at her as he spoke. As he was cutting his food u pand getting ready to start eating.

[Colossus]

Laughing deeply and watching Jumper pile the food on. " A boy after my own appatite. Your a growing young man. Eat up and get your strength." Nodding assuredly as he plied food on his own plate.

[Aqua]

(sorry guys, ive been working all day)
Aqua sat down where Kitty suggested. After sitting, she was dazed the entire time of the dinner. She thought about being in a new home and what her life meant at this moment. She then felt upset, missing her parents deeply. But they never understood her power when she told them. They thought she was crazy, since she wasn't able to control her powers fully. Summoning them, was difficult enought as it was.

Realizing new people have joined them she smiled. She noticed Torri had joined the group and two others. "Hey Torri, glad you came over!." She then looked toward the new students. "Hello," she said to Haven and Jumper. "I'm Aqua." She finally accepted the new name she was given, feeling a sense of identity when she said it.

[Haven]

"Yeah, I'll do that." Haven looked down at her plate and wondered if she could even get her forcefield to go down now after the rush of embarasment and now a tickle of a feeling at talking with Jumper.

Looking over at Shadowkat and Aqua she said "You guys alright? Didn't mean to bump you." She wanted someone else to make a mistake now and take the spotlight off of her and her goof ups.

[Fleet]

He was hardly listening anymore as he was staving and eatign away. It didnt help that the food was amazing. he only took a break to take a long drink. Once again he looked around at the people here and then went back to eating. He nodded briefly to the one called Aqua.

[Aqua]

Acknowledging Jumper's nod, Heather smiled. "What is your name?" she repeated, thinking he didn't hear her.

[Fleet]

Having to take a couple moments to chew and swallow all that was stuffed in his mouth, and taking another drink to clear his throat. "I am Jumper. Nice to meet ya." He said with a nod and went back to eating. He still seemed to be figety but often after a day of working out and using his ability he needed to et a lot.

[Aqua]

"Hi," she said again with a smile. She then took some mashed potatos and more dark turkey with gravy. Now starving, Heather knew that after eating she would sleep right away. Hopefully she would sleep without nightmares; getting used to a new home without her parents was scary to her.

Heather ate her food quietly, listening to the table conversations, emerging from the party.

[Torri]

Torri kept herself quiet once more, looking over at everyone around her. The shyness of her personality returning with slight fear at the sudden arrival of the other boy, she hadn't expected it and sudden movements were enough to shake her in the first place. She bowed her head and spoke silently to herself some words of prayers for thanks, others of words to comfort herself in her fear. Not that she wasn't glad to be included in their celebration, but it was harder now she felt to integrate herself.

She watched with a small smirk as food was distribued around the table, and quite alot of it, some she didn't even recognise, but all smelling wonderful. But still she stilled herself, only moving to every so often mouth words which she spoke in her mind, and it wasn't all that often. Other than that, she refused to admit to herself that the small quiet noises she head were from her stomach. She wouldn't speak out again, as her voice had been heard enough.

Looking up he just noticed that there was another girl here. And wow she was quiet. If he didnt look over for more food he would have missed her. Speaking up to Shimmer now. " Hey there, Whats your name?" Askign as he spooned on more mashed potatos.
