Aideen walked down from the girls dormitory still wearing the jacket Jumper gave her. She dropped off her tool set and left the remaining presents under the tree at the party. She was a bit hungry since she didn't eat anything at the party and this morning it hurt her too much to eat any solid foods. now she felt numb to the pain in her stomach after living with it for twenty-four hours. Aideen walked over to the fridge and took out the remaining pizza from last night. Lighting her hand on fire she warmed up the three slices of pizza and put them on a plate. She moved to the table and picked up the first slice taking a small slow bite.
It was a nice party, Aideen would admit that. But she felt a bit out of place there. Everyone seemed so happy and so content and it was all so new to her. She never knew how to fit in with those big groups and never felt comfortable. Aideen sighed not sure if It was better at home or here. No. Home was in South Boston and her life there was done. Too much history. That chapter of her life was closed. She bit into her pizza and lost herself in thought.

Walking back up from his session in the Danger Room, toweling off the sweat from the back of his head, Wolverine smelt the girl and her late night snack in the kitchen. He came strolling into the room where she sat silent and alone. He stopped in the doorway and leaned up against the wall.
"Good pizza?" he asked with a grumble, soft enough so to startle her as little as possible. He felt his pockets in search of something, his unlit cigar moved from side to side in his mouth.

Very, very slightly , Aideen tensed at the sound of the voice behind her. Moving her hair away from her face, she saw Wolverine or Logan as he was called in the doorway looking like he was fresh from a workout session. Lucky for him. She wished she could have come along and away from the party. It definitely would have been more interesting at the Danger Room rather than the party. Aideen regarded him for a moment with her dark guarded eyes for a moment before pushing the plate with two steaming slices to the side of her. "You can find out for yourself if you like," she said softly.
She smirked and held up her finger where a small flame erupted from the tip. "Need a light?" she asked with a bit of a smirk on her face.

His hands stopped searching as he pulled himself off the wall and walked over to her. "Heh" he chuckled, "you read minds too?" He asked as he leaned in and wrapped his solid hand around her wrist. Pulling her hand to the tip of his cigar and toking it up with several pulls of his lungs "Thanks kid-" he said.
"-But no thanks" he walked to the refrigerator glancing at the pizza. "I've had my mind on a cold beer for the past couple of hours down there." He pulled open the door of the fridge and rummaged for a beer.

Her soft signature smirk came upon her face. "The unlit cigar gave off a bit of a hint," she said softly as he used her fingertip to light it. He had a very strong grip which Aideen caught instantly. Not that she couldn't handle it, hell her skin was quite hot and she was surprised he didn't pull away from the heat of it. When she saw Logan rummaging through fridge for beer, an elegant eyebrow perked up in interest. "Beer? They allow beer in a school?" she said with a bit of a half smirk on her face. "Are uh. students allowed any?" Aideen asked quietly with a mischievous and eager lilt in her soft voice. The last time she drank was with the homeless guy Arnie who gave her a beer he stole from someone on her last day of school. She rather missed it.

"You know, I put some beers in here earlier and-" Logan moved some things around an growled a bit as he talked, saying "-I wouldn't want to be the person who drank one of my beers. Ah! Found 'em."
He came back to the table with what was left of his six pack. Popping the top off of a bottle with his thumbnail, he raised it to his lips as he pulled on his cigar. The tip glowed red and the smoke filled his lungs. He swapped the cigar for the bottle and took a long couple of swallows off of the beer before putting it down again.
Exhaling the cigar smoke with a relaxed and hearty 'Aaahhh!', he put his stogy back in his mouth.

The fire bender kept her eyes on the beer in his hand. The big Wolf man was trying to deter her question. Then again she could only imagine the number of times students had asked him that very same question. Aideen turned on the stool so she faced him and rested her elbows behind her on the kitchen table. She kept her dark gaze on him as she casually eyed the beer. "And what would you do if someone.... drank one of your beers?" She asked softly with a slightly coy smirk on her face.
Aideen didn't know him well but trusted her gut. She wouldn't have said a word had she thought it wasn't alright to do so.

Logan looked at the label of his beer, remembering the German town it was named for. The beer in his bottle didn't do justice to the beer they passed over the bar. He looked into the eager young firestarter's eyes and laughed inwardly. "Merry Christmas kid-" he passed her the bottle, knowing full well it was against the rules but she was just gonna bug him until she got a sip anyway.
"-and to answer your question, I'd make them regret having a thirst to quench or a tongue to taste with. Especially if it was my last beer." He allowed himself a slight smile.

The smirk on her face widened and Aideen took the cold beer, shivering slightly at the feeling of the cold bottle in her hand. "Thanks," she said softly, a bit of a grin uncharacteristically shining through the smirk. She took a sip of the beer, noting that this was quality beer compared to the cheap crap her and James used to buy with his fake ID. Aideen raised the bottle to him. "Cheers then," she said in toast and took a long gulp. She was by no means a lightweight nor an amateur drinker, but it had been awhile. Almost a year now that she thought about it. Not since.... well that wasn't something to think about right now.
Aideen laughed softly under her breath at his answer. "I'll keep that in mind," she said still laughing a bit. "I'll also make sure to neglect to tell others," she muttered under her breath thinking of Diesel. Him being ripped to shreds by Logan was a nice image.

"Yeah, you make sure an' ferget ta tell 'em you had some beer too." Wolverine cracked open another bottle of beer for himself and sat at the table with the girl. "So, what's yer name, kid... if you told me before I forgot." He tipped his bottle up.
He wasn't going to apologize for forgetting if he had, he didn't usually apologize anyway 'an b'sides the brat's drinking my beer' he thought.

Aideen shook her head and took another sip of the beer. "Forget to tell them what?" she said softly mustering up a pretty convincing blank expression of innocence. She was always rather good at getting out of trouble. Hell thats the reason except for a few minor fights and cut classes, her record was clear. She had a knack for keeping under the radar.
"Aideen," she said softly. He never did ask, but hell who was she to complain. Logan never blatantly ignored her either which she was fairly used to and didn't mind because she didn't like people, with a few exceptions. Aideen didn't mind him though. She figured because he didn't bulls**t like her. She respected that.
Taking another sip she gave him a small quick smile. "Thanks again," she said so softly she wasn't sure if he would hear. Beer was good to make someone forget as was any hard liquor. Though beer wasn't exactly hard but it would do just fine.

"Thanks fer what ?" He winked at her and took another slow pull on his bottle. The cold dark liquid was refreshing and the taste took him back many places, and through many days. He looked off through the kitchen doors to the Christmas tree and all the joy that must have been shared in the Cafeteria while he'd slipped away.
"Had fun earlier...?...Or, did that boy with the miseltoe start up with you again?" He had to smile thinking of how she'd put him in his place with the hot little 'kiss' she blew him earlier.

She laughed under her breath at the wink and rolled around the now warmer beer bottle in her hand. Rolling her eyes, Aideen took another sip of the beer. At this point she was contemplating keeping the bottle and when she finished she could break it over Diesel's inflated head. Though it probably wouldn't do much anyways, thats how thickheaded that kid was. "That kid... I swear if his ego gets any bigger his head will fall to the floor from the weight of it," she muttered sardonically with her soft voice. "If I didn't have my bike to worry about I would have roasted him," she added taking another sip.
"It wasn't too bad though, parties never were within my comfort zone. Especially with some of the present company," Aideen said with a cool glare at the room. She turned her dark eyes back to Logan. "You left at a good time. Was a bit envious as well," she said with a smirk. She would have given anything to done another session. But Beast and Nightcrawler wouldn't have been to happy.

"Bike, huh? What a ten speed?" he asked thinking to test her and see how she reacted. She looked like she rode something not quite as big or loud as a Harley, but he was going to put a little poke in and see how she took it.
Placing his beer on the table he stretched and flexed his arms and shoulders above his head. He was feeling alot better after getting some blood pumping through his limbs, and Beast's new refit on the Danger Room was a beautiful thing to behold, really quite deadly when the safteys were all off.

Aideen narrowed her eyes a bit, insulted that she looked like someone who would ride a ten speed. But the fire bender kept her cool and a slow smirk formed on her face. "Kawasaki Ninja 1,352cc Four-Cylinder with a DOHC engine. Hardly a ten speed," Aideen said as she took the last swig of the beer and set it on the table next to his. "Wouldn't want to lose it because of hormonally blinded boy," she added with an amused lilt to her soft voice.
She watched his stretch and flex, a bit envious still of his workout. Aideen would have followed him in a heartbeat if she thought she could get away with it. But after the beating she took from her session at the Danger Room, it wouldn't have been wise. But she will need to start running to keep in shape.
