K'8 thought about it for a minute as she reached for the corner of a towel and dried her eyes off. The make-up she wore hadn't come off her cleanly and she left two huge raccoon marks on the fluffy terrycloth of the towel. "They're demons, they don't care about peoples feelings, well maybe nobody 'cept mine. They like to make me laugh, I think." she looked up at Kitty and bit her lip a slight bit in thought before adding. "I guess they go back to Hell? I'm not too sure where they go or come from, but they come when I bleed and they only stay long enough to have a little bit of crazy fun."
She shrugged "I never actually asked any one of them, they just started showing up one day and I never thought to ask. Should I maybe bleed a little?" she asked hoping Kitty would say yes, but then in a strange way also hoping she'd say no.

Sean surveyed the wall with a critical eye. Sure, it doesn't exactly blend in too well... aw hell it sticks out like a sore thumb. But it will keep the cold out and I'm sure that teacher lady will tell Ms. Frost about it so she can let them construction folks know that they got another wall to fix. And a new sink. But at least the hole is covered for now, he thought as he turned to look at Heather and Kevin with a big grin. "Well it ain't perfect but I think it will do for now," he said smiling and watched as the girl who was crying ran off. "I hope that girl is alright, she didn't look too great," he pondered out loud.
Seeing that Heather still looked really down compared to himself and Kevin, Sean walked over to her and put his arm around her again. "See Heather, no harm done. The construction crew will have this kitchen all fixed up in a jiffy. This'll do for now. C'mon girl it's alright now, bring that pretty smile back. I always thought that any girl is as pretty as a summer sunset on a ranch. so lets see that smile," he said gently trying to make the girl feel a bit better. I bet she's still mighty upset about the whole thing that just happened. Must have scared herself with her reaction. I know I would be upset if I reacted like that in a moment of anger.
Keeping his arm around Heather to give the girl comfort and a bit of warmth, Sean waved Kevin over. "What do ya'll say we go in and clean up the inside a bit so that they wont be too upset about the busted wall? Now I know how the families feel after they get a visit from the Kool-aid Guy," he said with a chuckle, attempting to lighten the mood.
He waited to see if the others were up for it, since it seemed like the right thing to do. Well his first full day here was off with a bang. Literally.

Heather watched Sara scatter away in tears. She said she was alright, however she didn't exactly say it. For some reason, she was still afraid. The water bender sighed and bit her lip. It was official, today was not a good day. She didn't realize Sean was speaking to her until she felt his arm around her again. Heather rolled her eyes and gave the southerner a wince as he complimented her. Coming from New York, any boy to made a comment like that was either ignored or slapped in the face. No New Yorker would use that as a pick up line. However when Sean said it, sincerity was able to be traced. And it was true sincerity.
Heather's wince turned into a line again. She sighed, as if gaining the ability to smile, and then did as Sean asked. "Is that better cowboy?" she said with a grim smile. She chuckled at herself and couldn't help prevent a natural true smile emerge on her visage. "I'm sorry I'm so.... blah. It just hasn't been a good day.... for anyone... and we all mad it worse." She looked at the mess around the room again. "Good idea," she retorted to Sean's suggestion. Cleaning up would be the best thing to do at this point, especially since Shadowkat would be back soon and ask them to do it anyway. Heather leaned her head on Sean's chest. It felt good to just relax for a second. "Thanks Sean," she said warmly.

"Yes, cleaning up would be good." Kevin said with a grin knowing it had been his suggestion only a moment before and thinking 'Wow that guy could probably tell anybody to do anything and they'd say' and then he said "Sure!" outloud. He didn't mean to it was just the last part of his thought, but Hardlight was begining to lose control of his thoughts around Sean. He was so charming.
To occupy his mind he went and looked for a mop because he didn't know if Aqua could handle all the mess with her powers alone and she did look a bit 'off center'. As he found a thin storage closet full of things he dug in and pulled out a mop and bucket and plent of rags and some bubble scrubbie spray. "I'll start over here." he said and grabbed a rag and spray to start in on the counter tops.

"Good going Kevin, throwin' yourself into the work here," Sean called to Kevin smiling as he kept his arm around Heather, who seemed to be more relaxed by his small gesture of comfort. He looked down at her still grinning and used his free hand to tip his hat at her. "There you go now Heather, theres that million doller smile. And it ain't no troouble for me to get a smile outta a pretty girl. Now how 'bout we help out Kevin there?" Sean said to Heather as he squeezed her gently one last time before he let her go and went over to the sink that was taken out by the wall. It's a good thing that this was a big kitchen meant for a large number of people. The one sink could always be replaced and for now they would live with just the two others.
Sean knelt down and began picking up the bowls and silverware that were scattered all over the floor. He placed them in the dishwasher and then went over to Kevin who was scrubbing the counters. "Here Kevin, I'll help you. I'll mop up this area here," he said and grabbed the mop and bucket. He looked through the supply closet and found the cleaning solution. After filling the bucket with water and adding the solution, he started mopping up the spilled milk and food stuck to the floor. "We'll have this place spiffy in no time."

Aideen stopped in her tracks in the doorway of the kitchen as she saw the once sleek industrial kitchen fit for a grand chef look like a disaster area. Oh look there are bits of cereal stuck to the doorway. If she ever ruined a room in her house like this, her punishment would be very severe, oh yes it would. Her uncle wouldn't hear of it. She surveyed the room with her blank disinterested gaze, noticing the glowing wall in the room that was held together with molded metal. At this point nothing surprised her and she had no desire to even know the story. Aideen looked at the people in the room and saw they were cleaning. At least they were doing something acceptable. The bothersome little boy from earlier in the library was cleaning the counter and the guy with the Cowboy hat was mopping up the wet floor. Her large lifeless eyes looked over as she spotted Heather. She hadn't seen her since the Hanger, which seemed like it happened awhile ago though it was only two days ago.
Since Aideen was forced to socially interact with someone, it might as well be the person she's known the longest. She focused her dark eyes on Heather, not giving a regard to the other two. "Dr. McCoy requested for someone to bring down two hot meals to the Genetic Lab. You think you can do that?" she asked in her soft emotionless voice. She was told to have the day off and she will do it, going back on orders wasn't an option no matter what.

((OCC: Heather cleaned up the water already in a previous post guys ) Heather sighed and shook her head. "Yeah yeah," she replied with a slight giggle. The whole "pretty girl" compliment thing something something Heather was use to hearing. Once again, the problem was caused by her up bringing. Putting that aside, Heather helped clean up the rest of the mess. She grabbed a broom and pan, for the debris left over from the smashed wall, and began to aid the cleaning process. As she nearly finished the large mess, Aideen walked in. Heather didn't realize until she heard her strong voice sound behind her. "Oh hey Aideen," she said startled. After she called down, Heather noticed the fire bender's eyes as she spoke to her. They were.... different. She couldn't put her finger on it however there was something definitely wrong. Knowing Ember however, Heather didn't bother to ask. Hearing the request, Heather nodded. "Umm, sure. I'll do it as soon as I clean this... thanks," she said afterward. Heather continued to clean up the mess and then dumped all the rubble into the trash can. She opened the fridge and searched for what hot meals could be provided. Knowing that cooking would take more time than needed, Heather looked into the freezer. She saw an assortment of frozen foods and took the first thing that popped out in front of her. Tacos should be good. Taking them out of their package, the water bender placed the 16 pack tacos into the microwave for the required time.

((My bad? Didn't realize she took all the water on the floor)))
Sean looked up from his mopping when he heard another person walk in, only to see that girl Aideen he saw in the library earlier. I was hopin' to run into her. She's even prettier up close. Wonder why she looks so out of it? Maybe she's just havin' a bad day, he thought as he continued to mop up the spilled food and milk. He heard what Aideen asked Heather and straightened up as Heather walked past him to the fridge. "Well Heather, I'll help you bring it down if you need it. Besides, it'll give me a chance to see some more of the mansion and Dr. McCoy is real nice," Sean offered with a smile before he cast a sidelong glance at Aideen, trying to decide if he should introduce himself or not since she was right there. Well it would be rude not to wouldn't it? I mean this ain't like the library she's actually here close enough for me to not have to move far to introduce myself, Sean contemplated in his mind as he finished mopping up the floor. leaving it shiny clean.
"Watch your step now ya'll, the floor might be a tad bit slippery. I wouldn't want any of ya'll to slip and fall," he said with a smile and turned to look over at Aideen. "Howdy there, I don't think we been properly introduced. My name's Sean Winterstar, pleasure to meet ye," he said with an easy smile. He wasn't sure how to approach her, but figured if he tried to be as casual as possible, he can't get a horrible response.

Aideen nodded to Heather and turned to leave when she heard that boy with the Western Drawl addressed her. Aideen wondered vaguely what it is about her that makes people think she was open to meeting new people. First that kid who was scrubbing the counters came up to her in the library for whatever reason, then there was that episode with the German boy in the history classroom, and now the cowboy here wanted an audience with her as well. Not that she particularly cared either way at this point, but she was getting a bit tired of speaking to people she wasn't obligated to exchange words with. And why were they all guys who randomly came up to her, except for the teacher of course. Last time she checked she wasn't wearing a low-cut shirt. Must be the fact that she smells like Black Raspberry Vanilla. That's why Sabretooth noticed first about her.
Aideen turned to him and looked up at him for a moment with her blank gaze. "That's nice," she said softly before she turned her heel and walked out of the kitchen. He had not earned the privilege for an introduction yet and she had no desire to make new friends. That is what got her in trouble in the first place. But no, not anymore, she would not allow her self to get close to anyone else. Aideen had accepted a life alone and had come to terms with it.
Now time to go to her room, perhaps find HeartString on the way since she did request an audience with her. Aideen did owe HeartString a great deal and had no qualms with going to see her voluntarily.

Heather looked to Sean as he offered his help. "Sure," she said with a shrug. "Thanks." Returning to the microwave, the water bender waited for the tacos to finish. When the bell rang, Heather grabbed two plates from the cupboard and placed paper towels on them, so the grease could soak into them. Then she placed the tacos one by one in a circular display on each plate. Just as she had guessed, 8 of the 16 tacos filled each plate.
Then she heard Sean try to introduce himself to Aideen. Heather tried not to laugh. The boy definitely had a lot to learn about the fire bender. And since it was Heather's current duty to help Sean out with the mansion and getting to know everyone, she would do just that. Satisfied that the mexican food would suit anyone's appetite, Heather took one plate and looked to Sean. "OK," she said with a smirk. "Let's go".
Aideen left and Heather looked to him again. "Don't even try it cowboy. She isn't the 'getting to know you' type," she commented as she led him out of the kitchen.

Sean's eyes widened slightly as he watched Aideen leave the kitchen, not looking like she wanted anything to do with anyone really. Well that ain't really nice of her at all. I wonder what's got her in such an anti-social mood? You'd think a girl as pretty as her would be nice... I wonder why she isn't? Ian did say she was feisty but I didn't think that would make her well so unwelcoming. Maybe she's just havin' an off day.. Sean thought as he stared after her, only being shaken out of his trance when Heather handed him the plate. "Oh yeah sure thing. And why is she like that? Did I offend her or is she havin' a bad day or somethin'?" he asked as he placed the plate down on the freshly scrubbed counter and put away the mop and bucket.
"Hey Kevin you wanna tag along? Don't wanna leave you here all by your lonesome," Sean called to the smaller boy, thinking it would be ruse to leave him behind. He looked back at Heather. "Seriously though, I was just tryin' to be friendly. Does she not like new people or what?" he questioned really confused as to why he got such a cold response. After all, he was just trying to be nice.

The kitchen looked clean enough and the wall was holding up okay too if Kevin did say so himself. Looking at the rude older girl who had come in and ordered Heather around Kevin smirked as he finished wiping up and put the cleaning supplies awya.
He thought it was kind of funny how people behaved here, just like any other school there was a "pecking order" to all of it. Kevin was obviously very far down in the que, but he didn't even care because actually he laughed inside at Heather as she did what she was ordered.
Kevin scoffed at the girl who'd treated him so disrespectfully in the library because she was such a crabby thing, it showed in her eyes. Kevin had thought to feel pity for her at first, but she didn't want that, she couldn't have wanted it the way she'd treated him. It was like she didn't care and just wanted to be left alone well that was easy for him to do, he didn't like people who were rude like that and she was demeening too? 'Well, she won't get another chance to put me down' Kevin thought
As the food was prepaered he had finished packing everything in the supply closet and decided he would come along for the walk. Adding his two cents to the conversation he said "She's rude! I tried to talk to her in the library, but she didn't want any part of it. I'm glad you made so much because that box said it feeds four and me and Sean haven't eaten yet. We were just coming into the kitchen for a snack and then we had to fix up and clean up your guys's mess and I don't know about Sean over there, but I'm starving! Smells really good though, you can really microwave girl!" Kevin said with a grin.

As they walked from the kitchen to the genetics lab, Heather listened to Sean's question. Her smirk grew as she replied. "Aideen is the kind of girl who respects her teachers more than her peers... I guess you can say." The truth was Heather didn't really know anything about Aideen except her name, power and she enjoyed bikes. That was the one good thing Heather was able to discover about her. Thanks to Lian, the perfect Christmas present was bought for the fire bender. The tool kit made Aideen even have a kind tone in her voice. Heather never bothered her from then on, knowing that slowly but surely, they would probably have another conversation and get to know each other better. But weeks passed since Christmas break, and Aideen never said a word. She never even saw the girl until today; and today didn't seem to be a good day for the girl. Heather erased the thoughts and continued to guide Sean down with the food. Hearing him invite Kevin however, made her bit her lip. Oh God, she thought. Just please don't piss me off. She looked to Kevin and gave him a wince. It was nice of Sean to not leave the Acolyte there alone, but they were only going down to give BEAST food. It wasn't as if they were going to stay there long. With a sigh, expressing her exhaustion, the water bender listened to Kevin's comment. He didn't know anything about Aideen, and neither did she or Sean. It wasn't right that he was talking badly about her behind her back. "Aideen is who she is," was all she would say. "And thanks, but let's give the food to Dr. McCoy first and then ask if it is OK to take some" she replied softly. With that, Heather led the boys down to the genetics lab, knocking on the door to see if it was OK for her to enter. ((Continue the thread at the Stanky Blue Bastard post please ))

Kitty watched as k’8 cleaned her face of the makeup that had smeared around her eyes. She listened to the brief explanation about the demons; their actions presumably made sense in the way that they would want to please their maker, though it would only seem acceptable for their maker and their maker alone. “That doesn’t surprise me, only I wish you might influence them so that they don’t cause something like what happened earlier? It was all a series of chain reactions and it didn’t help anyone,” she said in response to the first thing the girl said.
At having her question answered, she nodded, figuring what k’8 knew was reasonable enough; they came when she bled, they had fun, they disappeared. Never thinking to ask was reasonable enough as well, and at the suggestion-question, Kitty looked at k’8. She needed to know, and though she was against the idea of cutting despite that was the way k’8’s powers worked, she knew that might have to be the option. She thought for a moment, knowing if something happened because she allowed the girl to cut and unleash another demon especially if it caused trouble, it would be on her. She would accept full responsibility too, but she also knew that decisions she made would most likely be respected as well, considering the situation.
“Okay, k’8. You may bleed, but only a little, and the reason for this is not to play around or anything like that. You are bleeding so that you may ask a question and only that. Please try to keep the demon in check, we have had enough caused by them already,” she said, her mind flashing back to how she was imagined the kitchen looked at the moment, dirty and with a giant hole in the wall, and then the demon who had flashed to her as Kurt.

Reaching down into a pocket she pulled up her broken bladed knife. She pulled herself up out of the tub and grabbed the towel to dry off her blade and hands. She pulled up a sleeve and patted the towel around on her forearm. Shadowkat could see all the scars of older cuts and scabs of fresher ones. K'8 decided to start a new cut instead of slicing open an old one. She looked up from her arm into Kitty's face and said "I understand. No play I'll try and control whoever shows up." She placed the blade on her flesh and looked down at it whispering "Send me Mr.Putty-Man." Katie dragged the blade back across her skin snagging and tearing it open with the jagged nicked up edge. Opening up a hole in her skin, a plume of crimson liquid filled it and flowed out in drops...one...two...she placed her thumb over the wound to stop the flow. As the blood fell it erupted into two small demons. "Hello fatty, hello rat-fiend. How's Mr.Putty-man?" k'8 said quickly as they erupted on the scene. She wanted to get their attention before they decided to do something on their own, something mischievous. "I saw him earlier and he got cooked by a big dragon-jerk. Is he mad?" "Gluibluurt?" the fat one said and k'8 giggled, but caught herself before she got to drawn into the spell of fatty's charm. He trundled around and smiled, his amazingly sharp and jagged teeth lending a look of some land based piranha fish. "Yeahhhh, heeeeess ssssoured on thisss game. Nooo likessssess for nowsss." the rat-fiend said in evil hisses and gasps. "Wantsss to playssss?" he said raising an eyebrow as his feet shuffled in a little dance.
