Aideen slowed a bit so Jumper and Ripple could catch up to her and turned around only to spot Katana making her way to the practice. With a raised eyebrow and an expressionless stern face, Aideen checked her watch. Katana was five minutes late.
Aideen looked to Jumper and Ripple. "You two keep the pace, we'll catch up," she said firmly and allowed them to both run past her. She turned to Katana with a serious and unamused look on her face. "You are five minutes late. The warm-up for us is ten laps. And because you are five minutes late times the ten laps we do, you owe the team fifty suicides after we finish our laps. And because three of the members on your team waited for you for five minutes, you owe the team fifteen military push ups, not counting the five you have to do for yourself. And when you are finished you will learn that we work as a team together on time. I guarantee no one in the real world will be waiting for you to show up," Aideen said in a firm voice before she turned around to catch up with her two teammates.
"Now come do your laps with your team," Aideen said as she ran next to her teammates and they began their even run.

Leah groaned and ran after the team. Her pace was slower than other members. She wasn't one to complain, she'd do the punishment, and she'd take it with pride. In her life, being on the street, you reported to no one. This new world was vastly different. She would have to follow to authority. Of course it hurt her, that she had not decisively gone against Ember. It hurt, that she had been a disappointment. 'I'm not pathetic! I swear!' She refused to be thought of as weak. She moved forward refusing to even glance at Jumper or the other girl. She had run before, on the street, yet this was a new terrain for her. She pushed every fiber she had to catch up and tried as she could to keep in the same pace as her other teammates.

Ripple giggled at Jumper, and increased her pace, daring him to catch her up. She looked back, making sure they were still meant to setting pace. 'Lucky we were both on time,' she said to him when she heard what the other girl had to do for being late. She turned round so that she was running backwars, but still in the same direction as Jumper. 'What's your name?' she yelled at the other girl, 'I don't think we've spoken before' She wanted to know every member of her team so that they could have a strong relationship between them.

Jumper chuckled and kept his pace. he didn't want to try and wear himself out so soon. Watching Ripple he laughed and winked. Turning to see Katana come up finally and hearing her punishment for being late he sighed. "Yea that does suck. Im glad I wasn't late. But I am in this for the team, so it looks like I will be joining Katana with that extra workout. No one should have to do it alone. And it will be good for me." He smiled and caught up as Ripple was running backwards.

Lian pulled a face at him. 'You would choose to do the extra? It'll kill you! And plus, Aideen might not want us to. It's meant to be a punishment, not a social. I can see where you're coming from with the team thing though.' Lian turned to face the way she was running again and fell into step with Kyle.

Kyle smiled and nodded keeping pace with Ripple. Every once and a while looking over his shoulder to see where they were. "Well I have been the new kid to many schools and teams, I know how hard it can be. And I never liked being singled out and alone. You could join me you know. Would like the company"

Lian shrugged. 'Sure' she said. She didn't object as long as she would be allowed to talk to him. She hated doing press-ups and the like, as they were so boring. 'Press-ups ain't really my thing though' she warned him, 'I find them pointless' Give her a wetsuit or a leotard and she was happy. Try to get her to do circuit training though, and she would scream.

He chuckled and nodded as they reached the top of the first rise. The run down would be a nice break. "They are good for your arms and chest. I am used to this kind of stuff, but usually it is on a track, or a field. Being out here in the cold and running up and down is going to take some getting used to. So tell me Lian, how are you feeling after the fight yesterday?"

Lian crinkled her nose. 'It was...interesting' she conceded. It was her first experience of that kind of thing, but there was no way she could say it had been good. 'How's your head feeling anyways?' Jumper had got a huge lungfull of that gas. She reached over and tried to tug at his hair, whilst also looking where she was going and trying not to trip over a rock which had appeared in her path.

Ducking and laughing as she reached for his hair then shaking his head. "No, Im fine. As fast as the gas hit me, my system pushed it out. It was a good thing I was sped up already when it hit me. Watch out" He called out lightly as Lian was abou tto come along that rock. "Besides, Haven got what she had coming. I can't believe they let her back so easily"

Aideen looked to her teammates and very simply said,"Concentrate on the run everyone. We will discuss the rest of the practice after the run." She looked straight ahead at the dirt path ahead of her. She had plans for each of them for this practice and will discuss them later with them. Right now she wanted her team in top physical form. The one thing Aideen noticed with other teams is that though they may have a decent grasp on their powers, they weren't as physically fit to handle them well in combat.
The rough terrain became more apparent under their feet and the road became more rockier. "Keep your eyes on the road everyone," she said softly as they approached their first hill. Aideen's goal was for them to be completely in sync with each other. When they got to the foot of the hill, she spoke again, "Let's go. Sprint." And with that, Aideen's long legs extended more and she began sprinting up the hill. She wanted them to be in step and together with herself. This was to test how well they can all keep up with each other. The hill was high and steep and even in Aideen's top physical form she felt a slight strain at sprinting upwards.
Keeping herself between Ripple and Katana with Jumper on Ripple's other side, Aideen lead the Pargons in a final sprint down the hill before they continued running the rough dirt trail, keeping the school in view at all times. The pace that was set for the team was smooth, fluid and fast. Aideen ran with her team down the wide dirt path, the cold winter wind blistering in their faces and the cold morning sun beginning to peak over the clouds. The Paragons were troopers though. They triumphed together before in the Danger Room, and now they will work as one. Aideen needed them all to trust each other and each of them have each others back. This was most likely not the bonding they had in mind, but it will work more than they thought.
They ran for twenty minutes more, together on the cold winter morning, jumping over rocks and ice on the ground. But they ran together, though they did run hard and quite fast. Aideen took her large dark eyes off the road for one moment to check their form and see if they kept in sync.

Lian sprinted forward, keeping pace with the others as they ran. Every so often she needed to hurdle a tree root or a rock which protruded from the ground in her path. Even so, the team hardly broke ranks, keeping in step with one another as they ran across the track.

Jumper followed suit with everyone and speed up into a sprint. Keeping up with the ladies and feeling his legs and arms start to work hard. He always enjoyed running, but running through this terrain was a challenge indeed. But he was determined to keep up. He kept his focus on the ground before him and where his team was at all times.

For the next forty minutes, Aideen ran with her team on the hard and rough terrain keeping at the long even pace and making sure her teammates were completely focused on the run ahead of them. The cold wind blew in their faces and the sun peaked to the top of the clouds, warming them slightly. The trails were long and rough and it was easy to tell how was focused on the trail by the amount of times they stumbled. But Aideen was pleased that for the most part her team stayed together.
Through the run, they encountered many hills, but as Aideen promised the only hill they had to sprint up was the first one. The rest of the hills they ran over in long strides. Finally, after the long and tiring run, they approached the final hill. "Get ready, last sprint best sprint," Aideen said to her team as they got to the foot off the hill. Like a cat, Aideen sprang forward and sprinted up the hill with he team. This hill was particularly high and very steep. It was easy to trip or fall if one didn't fully concentrate on the run. With long and very fast strides, the Paragon team went over their final and steep hill on their long, fast run that would most likely leave them sore for a good long while.
Aideen led them to the gate where they started at and looked at her hardworking and most likely very tired teammates. "Good Job everyone. Now before we get to the next part of our practice take a moment to stretch. as apart of this team, I would like you all to try and go on a run at least once a day for forty five minutes a day. We need to keep in shape," Aideen said to her teammates in her soft stern voice. She formed a sweat on her brow but Aideen was used to running for much longer periods of time.
Aideen turned to the side away from her team and with her fireballs, made eight charred lines 10 feet apart. She looked back at Katana. "Now you pay back your dept to the team as they continue their work. I want to see fifty perfect suicides done. And I will be watching," Aideen said firmly. She then turned to Ripple and Jumper. "As for you two, Ripple you are going to be working with me directly. Jumper I want you to turn your dials on and i want to time how quickly you are exactly and how good reflexes are. You all have a five minute break before we begin and feel free to ask anything during the break," Aideen said as she grabbed her insulated water bottle filled with warm water and drank it down. This was going to be a good and strenuous practice.

Lian didn't know what kind of stuff she would be doing with Aideen, but she started to stretch and jog on the spot while she waited for the five minutes to be up. It was important to keep herself moving so that her muscles didn't start to cramp up. She kept moving and stretching constantly but gently, so she wouldn't overtire herself. She didn't bother with any fancy moves, just stuck to the basics until she was required to do something else.
