A small smile curled at the end of Rogue's lip as Hank made his comment to the young Paragon. She loved his sarcasm. He made it sound so natural and he could always remain serious. It was one of the reasons she liked him so much, they always had witty conversations. Grabbing the check up sheet, Rogue let out another sigh and nodded. "Alright Hank," she said warmly as she retrieved a pen from the doctor's pocket before he left. She gave him a wink and a smirk before turning her attention to Jumper.
"OK Jumper let's see here," she said scrolling down the paper. She clicked the pen with her right hand and placed it over the spot that said Highest Speed. "I need the highest speed you have gone so far, how long you remained in that speed, and how you felt after." She gave him a comforting smile, assuring him that she was not at all upset with his earlier behavior. She would however, have a chat with him later on. For now, she would get this out of the way so she could receive the important information about the fire bender.

Smiling and tilting his head a bit as Beast had asked him. Jumper reached up and ran his hand through his hair. "I apologize Dr. McCoy, It appeared that Ms. Rogue was moving on to other concerns and I did not want to be more of a distubance then I already have been today." Jumper did truely apologize. "I heard your instructions, and Ember has the pedometer that I used on the first training session. But I do know the numbers." he went quiet as Beast had asked Rogue to see to his information, but tilted his head once again hearing Beast say something about him being impatient. Jumper didn't think he had done anything to show that. Rogue had gone on to ask about another, and it seemed they were both done talking to him, so he asked to leave.
So as Rogue sighed at having to actually work with Jumper and get his info, he couldn't help but let a small chuckle out. As Rogue looked over the paper and the questions came out Jumper cleared his throat. "Well, up to today, the highest I went was level seven." Jumper held out his hand and showed Rogue the larger dial on the back of his hand and the High tech Dial with a series of small dots that indicate levels. "Yesterday I had only tried up to level five, until Ember had me push it to six. At six I was able to move approximatly sixty four times faster then the normal runner. When broken down into miles per hour it was estimated to be close to 700mph. Afterwards though, my body ached and I felt fatigued. Then this morning when I went and did my training alone, I could not find any of my team mates to go running, I took it up another step as Ember had instructed me to do. So I was at level seven. And at that level I was moving at about 128 times the normal runner, clocking in at close to 1200 mph, I held that pace for a full ten laps, which only took a couple seconds." Jumper seemed to really perk up a bit as he talked about himself and his power. It was his favorite subject.

Rogue took down the notes carefully as Jumper explained his current status. "Alright," she said once she finished the processed information. "And how did you feel today after the run?" She wasn't at all impressed with his power's status. Quicksliver, or Pietro as Rogue would always call him, had the same ability, only he didn't need implants. And not only could her run fast, but everything he did was quicker than a normal human being. It would always amuse her when he would get upset and speak faster than anyone could understand. A giggled was never able to be prevented.
She waited for her student's response, eager to move on and get things started with her team. Too, the information about Aideen was commencing to push her curiosity. What possible damage could have happened to the girl? And also, if there was major damage, could it be reversed?

Jumper kind of felt like there was something more on Rogue's mind. She did not seemed to interested in him or his ability. he was only fifteen and at one time had reached sppeds that were equal to teleporting. So as she asked the questions and wrote down the responses he just smiled and kept talking. Answering the last question with a casual shrug. "Ohh today? Im fine. I feel great." He sounded relaxed and even a bit energetic. He was lieing ofcourse. Just like yesterday his body ached from the stress of being pushed further then ever. But it always went away and he wasn't going to bore his new Leader with his trivial complaints. He would just need to work harder and get his body fit to handle the stress. "Anything else you need for the report Ms. Rogue?"

(OCC: part of Rogue's manner or actions gave away that she wasn't interested?)
Writing down today's results from Jumper's last practice, Rogue nodded and gave him a smile. It faded however when he informed her that today's run did not bother him a bit. That was impressive. "Well, that is great progress then," she said warmly as she jotted down the final notes. "Alrighty, thank you Jumper I believe we are done here," she added as she clicked the pen. She opened her file and scanned for Kyle Nomis' information. When she detected it, Rogue placed the check up sheet above his information and closed it satisfied. "Thank you again for the information Jumper. Oh and please meet me again a week from today to take down the information again. If you feel any worse, let me or Dr. McCoy know immediately, understand?" Placing the closed beige folder underneath her arm again, Rogue tucked the pen behind her right ear.

Jumper smiled and nodded holding his smile as he usually did. Tilting his head a bit as she mentioned reporting back to her in a week. He shrugged and nodded. "So you would like me to continue to work on my own, and see how far I can push it? Sounds good." Jumper definitly had no problem pushing his power, the rush that filled him was almost addictive. "You do not plan to have any team practice or meetings within the week?" Jumper was a high school jock and even if he felt worse he probally wouldn't say so in fear of being benched, so to speak. But h ewould definitly practice hard. " I will report immediatley if I have any problems." Nodding again and still smiling his familiar smile.

Rogue shook her head. "No no darlin' don't push it, just for now continue with the speed you are using. Ah am not sure if Ah will be having any team practices this week but for now, do continue what you are doin' on your own. It seems to be workin'," she said with her sweet smile. "However Ah will let you and the rest of the team know if Ah do intend to have a practice. Ah just need to get things settled with Ms. Frost first." She nudged her head up to the ceiling when she mentioned the Headmistress. After Jumper told her he would indeed report if anything went wrong, the Paragon Leader nodded her head again. "Good and thank you again Jumper, Ah shall see you next week then. Now, if you will excuse me, Ah have some private matters to discuss with Dr. McCoy." She kept her warm smile, hoping that Jumper understood she and BEAST needed to be alone now. Not that she didn't care about Jumper, he was her student after all. However she liked things done quickly and rationally when capable.

Jumper listened intently, He liked to odd accent that Rogue had. And as she said she was done with him and that Beast and her needed to be alone. He nodded, his hands resting lightly behind his back as he stood casually. "Ofcourse Ms. Rogue, if I do not hear from you within the week I will come and make a report. Have a good day." And with that Jumper's fingers spun the dial behind his back up to five and he was gone from the room in a blink and a brief breeze. Out of the room and up into the mansion. There was a lot he had to think about and work on and there was still a lot of day left.

After Jumper left, Rogue was satisfied with him for now. He didn't seem to be much trouble however first impressions weren't always accurate. Holding the file a bit tighter beneath her arm, she looked to BEAST and gave him a small smile. "So," she said plainly. She was feeling the pain of loosing her friends. Not as if it hasn't happened before over the years. However having Logan and Kurt gone made her think about her past and everything that went wrong. Her power on it own was a huge problem and for years she hated herself for it. As she grew accustomed to them, she found ways to benefit from them and strive higher. Along with that, came a tough exterior as well as a big heart.
Keeping her outward appearance in tact, Rogue looked to her colleague and awaited his explanation over everything that had happened since she was away.....

Hank looked up from organizing his notes when Rogue came back and took back Jumper's file. "I take it you have all the information you need from him?" he commented as he opened the file and his brow furrowed when there were no after effects of going on a higher level of speed. "Most unusual, I had hypothesized for Jumper to feel at least a bit of fatigue or mild headache after he pushed his powers to a new limit. Interesting indeed," Dr. McCoy mumbled as he glanced over the notes. This doesn't seem to fit it in at all with my studies and knowledge on how mutants adjust to newly formed abilities such as speed, but I do not believe Jumper would withhold information about his new developing power for it is much to serious of an issue and he is well aware of the fact that we must be dutifully informed on every little symptom and complication. Perhaps his body was more ready to embrace this ability than I expected... most interesting indeed, Hank thought as he closed the speedster's file and placed it aside in plain view so he would remember to put it back in the medical file drawer once Rogue left.
Hank looked back down at Rogue and sighed. "May I inquire Rogue, how much you do know of what happened the past couple of days? I'm not sure if Emma had the time to relay the whole story for you, but it would benefit you to understand it if you have questions on your team members for I observed that each of them were effected by the events in a different way for a number of reasons," he said to her as he attempted to better organize his notes on the specimen that he had been working on all night.

Rogue nodded, understanding Dr. McCoy's method of giving out information. "Well," she said low so that only he could hear. She didn't know what the white haired girl in the holding cell what there for. However it was obvious she was a student who was either being punished or being babysat by BEAST. She closed her eyes, trying to prevent the next words from her mouth to cause her more grief. "Scott told me that we lost Kurt and Logan," she said slowly. She sighed slowly, allowing herself to process the news and add it casually to her memories. They were both great people. But most of all, they were her friends. That sad fact was that every was had its casualties and she along with the other X-Men, learned that a long time ago.
"And that Aideen was effected greatly from yesterday's attack. I wanted to know what methods you are using for her so Ah won't damage the child any further. The last thing we need is a girl traumatized for the rest of her life because of this on going battle." She thought about the Brotherhood and how blind she was when she joined them as a child. However they were so welcoming to her. They accepted her for who she was and helped her to learn and embrace her power instead of interpreting it as a curse. That was how she met Kurt. He was her brother when Mystique adopted them as her children. Hence why Rogue was so currently disturbed at the sudden loss.

Hank followed Rogue's glance over at Haven and sighed. "Well, we did tragically lose Kurt and Logan, the Brotherhood attacked the school the other day mainly to destroy with the help of the girl who is occupying my stasis cell. The attack was quite brutal, as you are probably able to tell from all the construction that is still being done outside. When the bombs were discovered inside, Kurt was sent to dispose of them. He never returned from his mission," he said solemnly, not lowering his voice much more than it's normal volume since Haven knew the story possibly better than he did. "We still are not completely aware of all the events that took place during the battle, but I will say that all the students were forced to fight being that Emma was away and Cyclops was in the Danger Room which left him unaware of all the events until the battle had ended. They did a very good job from what we know, it seems that yet again the Brotherhood has underestimated the young mutants abilities," Hank said in a reminiscent tone for this was not the first incident in which the Brotherhood underestimated the younger and inexperienced mutants.
"Now as for the student in question, I learned last night from Emma that she was the last person to see Logan before he disappeared. I gather that the two were quite close and his disappearance effected her the worst, along with that of her former team leader, being Kurt. Logan was last seen in the middle of a rather brutal fight with Sabretooth, and you are well aware what direction battles between those two head. Young Aideen I fear has taken the blame upon herself for his disappearance, and it only worsened when Scott took her out to look for him last night and their trail ended at a giant unknown specimen from which Scott brought back a fragment of for me to analyze and study. Quite a conundrum it poses to me indeed..." Hank trailed off looking at the piece that was under his microscope before his attention snapped back to Rogue's question.
"As for the young firebender, I gathered from my observations that she must have been overwhelmed to the point where her mind went into a defensive state of blocking out all emotions from any situations, though I suspect there may be more to it than we know. I doubt you will have any trouble from her behavior wise, for as far as I know she has never given Kurt or any of the staff any trouble. She has always very obedient and respectful to the staff. As for how to handle her, the mind is an endless mystery and I unfortunately do not possess the knowledge to know what will make her better. Hopefully she will leave this state of mind before it becomes permanent," Dr. Hank McCoy said with a shake of his head. It is a terrible shame, for one so young to be exposed to all that amount of misfortune. Alas, that is not too uncommon in today's world.
He gave the young woman a grim look and adjusted his glasses. "Are there any other questions you have in regards to anything I've said or any inquiries about your other team members?"

Since Jumper had left Haven had climbed back out of her bedsheets and stood up from the army style cot that was her bed. Walking to the edge of the forcefield where she could just about feel the pain of it's crackling energy she opened her mouth, and with wide eyes she gasped "Dr., you mean when you said Ember might stay that way forever you were totally serious? I thought you were just making me feel bad for causing all of this."
Her face was pleading, her eyes filling up and she said "I gotta help her! I didn't save her from Sabertooth and tell about the bombs to keep her safe, giving myself up and all, just to let her be a braindead emotional flatline. Let me outta here so I can help you to help her. C'mon, pleeeeasee, it's killing me knowing I made my only friend into some zombified dweeb".

The fact that the girl who was presently in the room with them, was part of the attack, made Rogue look over to her immediately. She wasn't surprised that someone so young was easily manipulated to join the Brotherhood. She herself was caught within their propaganda; claiming that homo-superior was the race to overcome the world. The new breed of human meant a new era, a new world, a better world.
"She was part of it huh?" she said in a satisfied tone. Rogue couldn't be upset with the child. She was confused, just like her when she wasn't any older. She nodded her head slowly and then continued to listen to Dr. McCoy's further analysis. Once he finished, Rogue allowed the information to sink in. She would have to meet Aideen along with the rest of her team to commence understanding of the complete damage the students received. All that would come in due time. For now, she would control her emotions and remain the tough woman she was always known to be.
"No Hank, that is all. Thank ya darlin'." She sighed again, but not one that signifies annoyance. It was the kind where one is ready to take on whatever life will bring. A sigh that many mutants had to face these days. She heard the white haired girl speak. Rogue stood there, not knowing what to say. Best was to keep quiet when in that situation. She looked to BEAST, knowing well that it would be his decision whether to allow the white haired girl to help or not. Rogue would ask Emma about the girl once she went to see her.

Hank gave Rogue a grim smile, knowing her well enough that she was going to have her hands full with this team, though they were the smallest, it was harder to get through to many of them. Through his observations, he gathered that Jumper was just trudging along but seemed to yearn for acceptance from all those around him and took it very personally when the response didn't seem to appeal to him, Katana seemed like a very sensitive young lady despite the tough exterior she tried to project, and Ember surprisingly reminded him a bit of Scott, taking on the weight of the world on her shoulders and refusing to let anyone inside her head to help her bear the pain, though her upbringing was much different. Ripple to him seemed like a well rounded young woman, who cared for her team. Rogue does indeed have a challenge ahead of her, it might make her come in contact with some of her own troubles to reach them, Hank thought as he looked at the young woman before Haven took his attention from her stasis cell.
Hank looked at the girl and sighed. "Haven, I don't know how much can be done, but if you promise to behave I will allow you to assist me," he said only because he saw how sincere she was about helping the young firebender. He looked back at Rogue and gave her a small smile. "Rogue could I trouble you to ask someone to send down a hot meal for both of us? It has been awhile since both Haven and myself have had something other than sandwiches," Hank asked as he glanced back at Haven in the cell.
