Rogue walked over to Ms. Frost's office after departing from Aideen. A smirk appeared on her face, for she was happy to see her friend again after so long. As she reached the door, Rogue tapped her fingers lightly. Her nails beneath her gloves made a soft but audible sound, and she waited for the headmistress to welcome her.

"About time Rogue. Please come in." Emma's voice called from beyond the closed door.
She was standing behind her desk looking out of the large bay window. "Thanks for coming on such short notice. Wasn't sure who'd get here first, but I guess you win. How've you been?" Emma said as she turned around. "Oh, would you grab that for me please." she asked pointing to the paper that had been slid under her door.

Hearing the recognizable voice, Rogue opened the door revealing a small smile. "Hey Emma," she said softly. "Ah know, Ah'm here now and willin' to help as much as you need." She heard the headmistress mention the fact that someone else was arriving. Rogue knew that was obvious considering both Kurt and Logan were de-............no...missing. Rogue closed her eyes as she grabbed the paper Aideen left beneath the door.
She thought about who else Emma had asked to come over. No matter, she would find out sooner or later. Rogue handed Emma the paper and waited for her friend and colleague's instructions.

"It's good to see you Marie, I hope you're up for this. I'm going to ask that you take over Wolverine's teaching duties. Not that he had a full plate by any means, but these children need to know how to handle themselves in cases of dire emergency and on those rare occasions when their powers fail them, or the use of a mutant power would reveal them to be something needing a bit more attention." Emma stepped around her chair and out from behind her desk to meet Rogue halfway across the floor.
"I would like you to get these kids up to speed on their physical education, martial combat ability, and let's stress cardio work. I've noticed they are all in serious need of some good old fashioned sweating their butts off workouts, with very few exceptions. I want you to be a little hard on them. I think they need to toughen up a bit, but not as rough as Logan might have been- they've been through quite a bit lately, but I don't think that's any excuse for going soft on them." Emma took the paper from her and turned to go back to her desk.
"You can work out a schedule with the other ladies on who is watching the girls dorm on what night and get your curriculum ready because classes are starting in two days. You no doubt will be ready, you look like you've kept yourself in good shape. How are you anyway?" she asked as placed the paper on her desktop and took a seat.

After finishing her business with Sara in the kitchen, Kitty finally left and headed towards Emma's office. All that had happened played over in her head as she made her way there heaving a little sigh. She finally approached the door of the headmistress's office, and though she heard voices coming from inside, she knocked three times. It was important to pass on what had happened, and her newly acquired information, she thought as she waited patiently for an answer.

Rogue winced at her name. Marie was who she identified herself as, however did have trouble picking her full name and identity. After hearing Emma's instructions, the Paragons leader nodded. Her smirk grew. "Well Ah am so puleased you thought of me. When it comes tuh being tough, Ah thought Ah was the only one who recognized that fact." She then grew serious, knowing that Emma might not be in the mood. "Ah'll do what Ah can darlin'."
With that a knock at the door after Emma asked Rogue how she was. Rogue turned her head and waited to see who would be there. "Ah'm fine actually. It was gettin' a bit cold down there anyway." She smiled and winked at her humor and awaited to see the mystery beyond the threshold of the door.

"Oh, that'll be Shadowkat." Emma said at the three knocks on her door. "Come in Kitty!" she called out as smiled at Rogue's joke shaking her head.
"Thought you didn't really feel the cold too badly, oh right I had almost forgotten to ask you about your power levels." It wasn't common knowledge that Rogue had been through a 're-shuffling' of sorts. Her only hint to Rogue's de-powered condition had been the readings CEREBRA had taken. They indicated the Kree DNA, which Rogue had absorbed permanently from Carol Danvers was still present but in diminished saturation throughout the cellular structure of her body. "How do I put it delicately? Where do you see your powers? 60%...70%? Better, or not even close?"
Emma looked concerned, but not worried. She knew the southern belle wouldn't let the students down and she was more than capable to teach what the children needed to know. In fact Rogue having less powers than she had been accustomed to would most certainly make her lesson plan hold that much more meaning.

Kitty smiled a little when Emma knew it was her knocking at the door, and with that invitation, she opened it and came in, closing it behind her. She smiled at the headmistress, and her eyes widened when she saw someone who she recognized immediately coming up to where the woman sat. "Rogue! Hey! It's good to see you - how've you been?" she asked, as if she were a bit energized at seeing an old friend.
Then she remembered why she was there, and spoke partially quickly, turning to Emma. "Ah, right. Emma, I hope you don't mind, but some things have come up in the past however long it's been - I've been dealing with some issues with student behavior, but aside from that, which is still important nonetheless, I have some important news. I know where Nightcrawler is."

Looking up from Rogue as Kitty walked in she smiled at hearing the warm welcome. Then as Shadowkat spoke about the children and behavior she began to lose her happy glow only to find herself sitting with eyebrows raised a look of near shock on her face.
"Well, speak Kitty before I have to read your mind! Where do you think he is?" She was hoping it wasn't going to be some quasi religious metaphysical thing that Kitty was going to say. "Heaven?" Sure Emma hoped he was in a better place too, but the fact was he was gone and they needed to put it behind them. 'Perhaps a funeral might be helpful, This way everybody would have a chance to say goodbye to Kurt and Logan. Give us all a focal point to process through all of our feelings and then get on with our lives' she thought.

Kitty watched Emma's facial expressions change with all that she had said, and the near shock and prompting made her speak up. Though the suggestion of heaven made her frown, since she knew that wasn't at all where he was. "No, I wish, since that's where he deserved to go for his brave move, but it isn't heaven. He's in Limbo, Emma," she said, her face grim.
~*Demons of all shapes and sizes moved around her, cackling at her as they passed by. She moved away from them, looking around at the world that the leader of it had made it to be. She knew she would have to survive if she was going to make it through living in this world, and to survive there she'd have to fight, and so she trained, and trained hard. Then, she began to change, when Illyana was there, she knew, from one world, though somehow she was from another. The current leader of the world, Belasco, was mutating her into a cat, giving her catlike qualities, and then furthermore given an animal-like mind. Though her best friend Illyana was put under Belasco's influence, her own animal-like mindset was under his control as well, and thus she was turned on her best friend. In turn, her neck had been broken by Illyana in her own defense... *~
She suddenly shook herself out of the flash of memory, of the time she herself had been in Limbo, somehow in a form as one of her alternate selves.

Seeing Emma respond to her wit made Rogue's return. Emma was always a good sport when it came to her sarcasm and humor, just like the rest of the X-Men. Then again, the majority had equal humor to Rogue's, if not more. When the headmistress revealed the secret of who was knocking the door, Rogue smiled. Shadowkat, another good friend and fellow X-Men she hadn't seen for a while. Rogue looked back to the door and smiled when she saw the short leader appear before her.
The question the White Queen asked however, hit a soft spot within the Paragons leader. Ah yes, her powers had decreased indeed. Unfortunately it couldn't be the one she had dreaded her entire life. The one power that made her as strong as she was. After being drained of the skills that Carol Danvers had provided her, Rogue was able to regain her strength and focus more on her other strengths. Martial Arts and physical combat were other sources of power of course. Hence why the headmistress wanted her as the "strength" and discipline of the school. It was another thing she had in common with Logan. However as Emma stated previously, Logan would have pushed the kids a bit farther than necessary. Regardless, he always did a phenomenal job, for his logic and rationality constantly shined.
Rogue sighed and shook her head slowly. "Tuh be honest Em, 30%," she replied softly. "But that is the least of my worries." She knew that lying slightly wouldn't do any help. Emma would simply read her thoughts and be upset that Rogue even tried to hide her true feelings. However Rogue wasn't lying. She was mostly focused on her research she was performing in Antarctica. However now that she needed to abandon that for the present, she decided to now focus on her team and how to get them in shape. The martial arts would take months before they could be disciplined enough. It took time to master such skills and Rogue herself remembered.
Rogue turned her attention to the door when Shadowkat appeared. "Hello darlin' good to see ya! Ah'm great how are you?" However Kitty's sudden change to where Nightcrawler was made Rogue forget her question to the phaser. Oh Jesus, he is in LIMBO? she thought to herself. Rogue was aware of the alternate dimension very well. However getting out was always a problem.

Rogues answer to her query of her power level barely registered as the revelation from Kitty's lips rang in her ears. "Nightcrawler is where? Did you say LIMBO?" She asked standing and shaking her head. "How can you be sure?"
Emma Frost knew of the magical pocket dimension known as Limbo. She had heard all the tales and although she had never been there herself, knew that it was a place and not just an idea. Ruled as it was by demons and devils with a distortion of time. And although there was a time when it was easily accessible by Colossus' little sister Illyanna, since her death it was hardly easy to get into and out of.
"What gave you that idea anyway Kitty?" Emma almost felt sorry for Kitty, but then she saw the conviction in her face and knew it was sincere. This was not going to be an easy conversation.

Gravely, Kitty nodded. “I did,” she confirmed as Emma stood, shaking her head. “I’m very sure. It’s a bit of a story, and it ties in with what happened down in the kitchen,” she explained, and then with a sigh, she began to tell what happened.
“Well, I had been walking by the kitchen and I heard noise, screaming and stuff. I went in to see that there were three little demons running around, D’mnchyld’s. More happened, but this is what’s relevant at the moment. When I had walked in, one of the demons was on fire; Guardian had lit him on fire. Right before he poofed, you know, to disappear, he changed into a little mock version of Kurt. I couldn’t get why it would do that, show up in that form, but because of those demons, figurative hell broke loose. Aqua, Elixir, D’mnchyld, and Guardian were all fighting, and Guardian ended up destroying half the kitchen, and made a really big hole in the kitchen wall, taking k’8 with him and flying high as if he were going to drop her. I made him come back down and he flew off. Aqua got angry and accidentally froze k’8 with the water from the broken sink.
“I told them not to move and rushed k’8 off to a bathroom to warm her up after phasing her out of the ice. I asked her if she knew why that demon had taken Kurt’s form, and because she didn’t know why, only that it had to see its subject in order to mock it, I let her cut just a little to ask a demon of hers. Two came, one we could understand, and she asked for me where they go when they go poof, and one said Limbo. So I thought: how could the demon have seen Nightcrawler if he wasn’t there to mock? And why did it make it like that when Guardian flamed and smoked it, and then turned into a little mini-Kurt when I came in? Then it made sense. Nightcrawler’s ~BaMF~. That’s smoky, and it had to have reminded it of him. And where else could the thing have seen the ~BaMF~ if Kurt wasn’t in Limbo? It makes sense, since two days has been long enough for the demon to have seen him there. As horrid it is to think, I think that’s where he is,” she explained, taking a breath and trying to see if there was anything she might’ve left out. Either way, her face remained grim.

"Hmmm, could be why I haven't been able to locate him with CEREBRA. That might explain- did you say destroyed..?..half of my kitchen...!!!" Emma was trying to deal with so many personalities here at the school. Punishments, appointments, incarceration, education...To hear the news of a possible whereabouts for Kurt and even more damage to the building all in nearly the same breath.
"Okay let's get down there and see what we can find out. Where did you leave D'mnchyld?" She asked Kitty as she quickly turned to Rogue and said "Come along as well and we'll try and get to the bottom of this. You may need to go after the Dragon boy Guardian, we shall see." She hurriedly opened the door and stepped into the hallway holding it open and waving them out of her office.

Rogue shook her head and bit her lip as Kitty unfolded the story before them. The kids seemed to be more angry than she could remember. Plus the fact that they nearly destroyed the kitchen, after the front of the mansion was already being fixed, made Rogue only imagine what amount of anger Emma attempted to refrain.
However that was the least of their problems, considering that Kurt and possibly Logan, were still alive! She knew it and wanted to hug them both until they couldn't breathe when she did indeed see them. For now, she would be the fighter the X-Men needed and get their team members out of LIMBO if need be.
Rogue crossed her arms and took several steps towards Emma and Kitty. "Guess its time to go on a mission huh gals?" she said with some eagerness. Getting to fight some "bad demons" wasn't such a scary thing to the southern belle. If it meant getting her friends back alive it was worth it.
