After checking the ball to Jumper, Katana had a sudden change of heart. Why was she even trying to be nice this jerk. Nobody was ever nice to her. He and her other so called teammates had goaded her and laughed at her the other day when Ember had been treating her like garbage at practice. Just today Jumper had told her that she couldn't handle the school. Well, to hell with them. She didn't need them. Katana had gotten along without anyody in the past and she could do that now. So not even waiting for Jumper to react to checking him the ball she just walked off, her head held high in defiance.

Tia sighed as she walked out of her dorm, it was a fairly decent day outside, and to be honest, she was feeling slightly tired of staying locked up in her room, and reading all the time. She knew she needed to get out and about, get some fresh air, might do her some good. She randomly stepped outside the dorms, out into the open, looking around herself as she went, she let her legs take her wherever they wanted to go, she couldn't care less about where she was going, all she cared about was getting some nice fresh breezy air.
Her legs carried her across the courtyard, where she had once sat reading a book, and other such places, some of which she knew vaguely, the others she had only heard of while passing by in corridors. Tia sighed. She continued to walk, looking for somewhere, where there would be no one else, she knew she needed friends, but she doubted anyone would want to be friends with her. The loner. No one liked the loners, did they? The loner who liked to sit around and read. Tia continued to walk, her mind on the current book she was reading, before she saw a girl walk out of the place Tia was aware of as the basketball court, Tia's vague expression twisted into curiosity, because the girl who passed, looked both bored, and a bit pissed off. Maybe it was because she was tired of being alone?
A small smile twitched its way onto Tia's lips. There was probably no one in there, she could perhaps go in and have a stroll around, she wasn't any good at playing basketball, but she could practice a few of her karate movements in there, She hadn't practiced for a while, and her legs were really itching to hit against something hard and do a back-flip. She took a small breath as she walked into the basketball court. Though as soon as she entered, she wished she hadn't, there was a male figure standing in the court. Why did I not see that? she let out a low hiss.
Tia wondered if it was possible that the boy wouldn't have seen her, but then as she looked at herself, it was rather impossible to not notice her. She had a black tank top on, with a pair of grey jeans, a bright red jumper tied around her waist, and a pair of green trainers lay aimlessly on her foot. She bit her lip, she cursed her choice of colours. She rolled her eyes at herself, now that she was already in here, why not just stroll around anyway? There was no guaranteed stamp that the boy would come and talk to her. Tia folded her arms across her chest and began walking on the edge of the court, sighing as she went, The cool breeze felt nice against her bare hands. A small smile returned to her lips, she couldn't belive how much she'd missed the very feel of wind, not thoroughly enjoyed it for so long...

Jumper stood there holding the ball. A look of confusion crossing his face. He just could not understand women at all. Why did they come around and act interested in doing something with him. Then all of a sudden just get tired or bored of him and leave. They were just playing basketball, and she asked him to lay off on the smack talk, and he did. Then she just up and leaves. He shook his head very confused now. He just seemed not to have any luck at socializing with people. Perhaps he should just keep quiet and keep to himself. This way he did't upset anyone and didn't get anymore people tryign to kill him, like Haven
As he stood there thoroughly confused he noticed another girl walk into the court. He sighed and thought to himself. 'Oh great, another one. Wonder how long it will take for this one to get annoyed at him and leave.' Tempest didn't bother to say hi or anything, and to be honest he didn't even know her name or anything. Bouncing the ball a couple times he watched her walk around. It seemed he was asking for trouble, but that was Jumper's nature, as he spoke. "Hey there. What's up? I'm Jumper. I do not think we have met."

Tia sighed as she continued to walk, the cool breeze was refreshing. The breeze gently began to lift as Tia turned a corner of the court, The wind was blowing to her left side, though her side fringe that fell across the left eye stayed still, and so did the high pony tail on her back. The wind never seemed to affect Tia, but that was probably because it was she who affected the wind. Tia bit her lip as she quickened her steps, walking too slow wasn't doing her any good, and luckily, by the looks of it, the boy hadn't noticed her yet.
But just as Tia was halfway through the side where she was walking, she heard a voice call out to her. Tia sighed, Great, She sighed to herself before rolling her eyes, and shifting her gaze to look at the boy. "I'm guessing the Sky is up." Tia didn't bother returning the greeting, she didn't feel any point in it, but she did answer the next question, it may have sounded sarcastic- but it was true. Tia bit her lip, as she continued to walk, "I'm Ti- Tempest," Tia bit her lip again, she wasn't too used to introducing herself as Tempest It would take her a bit of practice, not socializing did have its downfalls alright. "Erm, If we'd have met, I'm sure I would have known your name." Tia turned to look away from the boy, rolling her eyes, as she turned a second corner, Seriously, why don't people, EVER think logically!?

"Im sure if we met you would definitly have remembered my name." He grinned as he spoke cocky like. It was Jumper's nature to try and make a joke out of things. "Tempest huh? Thats an interesting name. So what brings you to the basketball courts? Want to play a game? Or are you just wandering?" He had to ask because right now she didn't seem like the basketball playing type and it was hard trying to get a simple conversation going with her. And Jumper was always open and talkative. Bouncing the ball a couple times he looked around and then back towards Tempest wandering if he would get an answer.

Tia sighed as the boy commented on her last statement, there was really no need to answer back to that. Tia just continued to walk, when the boy began to speak again, Tia couldn't help but roll her eyes, didn't people ever think of shutting up? Tia sighed again, she bit her lip as she answered his last two questions, the first didn't need a comment. "Wandering." She replied quietly, she knew she ought to get talking more, it was fairly rude of her to just give one word answers, but she just couldn't help it, speaking more would just go seriously against her nature.
She bit her lip, as she brushed her hands through her fringe, La la la la la, she began humming in her head, she skipped a bit, before adding something to what she had said previously, "I don't play basket-ball." She muttered, it was hardly a whisper, but her whispers usually carried, she sighed, her voice really didn't suit her personality, her voice was all loud, though she herself, preferred to be all quiet.

Jumper shook his head. Thinking to himself, here we go again. another girl that doesn't want to talk or deal with people, but yet she comes around people. And even though Jumper had tried ot talk to her. She wasn't even trying ot hold a conversation. What was with these girls around here? Sighing himself as he watched her walk around. He turned and made his way to the basket and tossed the ball into the net.
Jogging over and scooping the ball up and looking to her again. "Well I see your not one for talking. I guess its just me." He shrugged and started to make his way across the court to the other hoop. "Well I would like ot say it was nice talking ot you, but since you dont seem like you are much for talking, Ill just leave you be." Still confused as to why so many of the girls that come to this school seem to hate to be socialable, or even nice enough to talk or get to know their fellow students. We were supposed to be able to get close and rely on each other. But that wont happen if everyone hates to talk to everyone else.

Tia raised her eyebrows as the boy scored a goal and began to talk, again. What he said, wasn't what made Tia's head go a bit 'whoozy' It was how he said it. Well I would say it was nice talking to you, but since you don't seem like you are much for talking, I'll leave you be, She couldn't help it, her eyebrows remained raised as she looked over at the boy, She was used to hearing such things, and she was sure what he was saying was true as well, but she his choise of words weren't much to her liking. If people, want an excuse, to get away from someone, they should at least thing of using decent excuses!! Tia bit her lip, annoyance getting to her head.
She just continued to walking, but the annoyance got stronger by the minute, It wasn't just this boy, It was the fact that anytime, anyone tried to remind Tia how detached she was from the outside world, or how she couldn't socialize, it just reminded her of her old school, where she was bullied, taken the mick out of, Tia was sure her face would be fairly blank, Her emotions hardly ever showed on her face. She snapped out of her chain of though, her mind buzzing with old memories, causing the annoyance to turn a bit into anger, she sighed, she looked back at the boy muttering "Goodbye then,"
She bit her lip, a single tear rolled down her cheek, It wasn't a tear of sadness, more like a tear of anger, all the anger, all the memories far too much for her head. Tia bit her lip, she continued to stroll the place, trying to bottle the anger up in her memories, but the more she tried, the more it spread out, Tia shut her eyes, hoping the cool breeze would calm her down, but no sooner did she think of the wind, and the thought of the wind, linked with her memories, the cool breeze became harsher, It was like a damaging wind, Her eyes widened, she stared hard at the floor, no - she couldn't get scared now, getting scared would just make the wind go worse, fright and anger never went to well.
Tia took a deep breath, as she managed to look around, The net that she had passed not long ago, was shaking rather vigorously, Tia cursed under her breath, she shut her eyes, trying hard to cocentrate on something else, she looked down at the ground, and her shoes caught her eye, Green shoes, interesting, lovely, Hmm, oh look, this one doesn't have laces, its a slip on, how facinating... She continued to ramble on in her head about nonsense, which usually tended to calm her nerves down, she slowly lifted her head and looked over at the net, it was calm again, she bit her lip, Maybe comming out wasn't such a good Idea, She un-folded her arms from her chest, let them drop by her side, she sighed, and ran out of the court before Jumper, He wqas probably going to end up thinking she was some sort of creepy freak, but Tia couldn't care less now, What she cared about was getting inside somewhere, being alone, Where her temper wouldn't fail her, and she wouldn't be at the verge of creating a tornado.

Jumper took another easy shot at the basket, and then caught the ball. Turning around he noticed the other backet and pole were shaking. That was definitly not right. Looking to Tempest and tilting his head as she looked a bit disturbed. It wasn't hard putting the two together. He stopped bouncing the ball and just watched her. What was with women around here? They were just so confusing. Can't anyone just have a normal conversation and relax? As he watched and everything seemed to calm down he watched her storm off out of the court. "Hmmmm I wonder what's going to happen next?" Shaking his head a bit more He started jogging along the court from net to net taking shots. He still refused to let anyone bring him down again.
Having had enough fresh air for one day, he stopped and stretched a bit and then turned and headed back to the mansion to get a shower and changed, then he thought he might go somewhere quiet and try and get away from psycho anti-social women.
