Concern filled the cabin of the X-Jet, and Tracy felt it all. It was tangible to her, like the smell of mold or the feel of sand under bare feet on a hardwood floor. It was irritating, and not very pleasant at all but she endured. Sensing the emotion that Gina was giving off HeartString nudged Ironclad with her elbow. "Somethings eating her." she said softly drawing his attention to Decibel. Then she saw the Hellion look up at her and wondered if she'd heard what was whispered.
"What was that look for? You know?" she asked Mason as he seemed to have some kind of relief or something akin to it wash over him. "I think sometimes you two are like psychically linked or somethin'." she shook her head and looked back down to the mounting papers that were before her, her mind on the feelings in the plane and not on where it was supposed to be. She would need to focus more and not get sucked away into all the emotion of the situation. That was what Gina was expecting, that was what was happening, but Tracy caught herself in time to stop it becoming the downward spiral it had so often been in the past. 'Breathe Tracy, breathe and focus....' she thought.

Mason shifted through the papers, his face hardening as he looked at some of the powers. This was going to one long and tiring mission. Looks like I was right about some things. Onyx his name is, he can keep up. Sick power too. Chief over there is on my team? This oughta be good, pretty sweet power though, he thought as he looked over at the guys sitting not far from him and nodding in satisfaction. At least he knew that he wouldn't have to be worried about them too much. Forge woulda objected on the spot if Chief over there wasn't up to it. What I don't get is what chemicals Doc was inhaling in that lab of his to bring the two others along. At least I know I don't have to worry about the redhead since I heard Doc dismiss her right then and there. Water girl here is gonna be a thorn in my ass in Limbo. HeartString and Decibel aren't gonna have time to play hero to a member of the rescue team, so I'll be stuck with it. freaking great. "Doc I'm tellin' you right now, I ain't gonna have time to play babysitter. Whoever you decide to send better hold their own," he commented not happy at all.
Mason looked up to meet Gina's eyes and he smirked at her while he looked her up and down in her uniform. After this mission, he was going to need some distraction, and Gina was perfect for that. He had to keep his mind away from starting things with his best friend. Mason had no clue what Tracy felt about him, but he wasn't going to take a chance with her. He's not a relationship guy, but he had a feeling that if he ever started something with Tracy, that would be it. He doesn't like giving people that kind of power to hurt him. Which brings him back to why he liked Gina and her sweet body so much.
Tracy's current demeanor caught his eye and he erased all thoughts. "Hey, hey doll, c'mon now. Focus on me, just like we practiced okay? Just focus on me." he said in a soft voice as he made sure his concern quenched the other feelings that stirred up within him whenever he had these moments with her.

Onyx nodded slowly at the pretty teachers comment, realisation slowly washing over him. He had been so busy trying to keep himself calm here, but what would happen when he let go and took out his anger, would he really become a demon? The idea hit him hard and hi face physically fell, making him look - for once - like the 16 year old boy he was. He stared blankly at the documents he had been given in addition to the ones of those in Limbo and struggled to swallow, instant panic in his head. 'How could i not think of that? It's a dark power, fueled by dark emotions, if i get too angry ... will i become dark? How does that work?"' he thought, looking up at the pretty teacher. "I ... will try. I-i did not think of that." he said slowly, his voice heavier than usual with the added edge of panic lacing his words.
He finally looked down at the dossiers with a strained expression across his face. He was going to have to controle his anger there too? This didn't seem as much of an adventure as he had before hoped. He was being tested already on how he could controle rage, but there ... there he might just flip. Seeing what Aideen had been put through, seeing the things she had been up against ... 'No! Aideen needs help and i will not fail. If i do so help me, i'll stay behind in Limbo myself.' he thoguth silently, trying to quell his thoughts.

More papers. Ugh why more papers? she thought. However it was a rhetorical question and she knew it was necessary. She skimmed through each person's power and saw that Ironclad, Decibal, HeartString, Onyx, Forge and Beast would all be useful in LIMBO (if they should ever had gone). However Heather and Veronika seemed to be useless and Ironclad agreed when it made his comment about "hold one's own". Great. Now EVERYONE knows I'm useless and hates me for it, she thought with a light bit of humor. Even Veronika could probably be useful more that Heather would be in LIMBO. But she couldn't help think why Dr. McCoy brought her along. Her power was controlling water. WATER. And they were possibly going to a world filled with fire and heat, and more fire, and more heat. Heather shrugged and sighed, a bit pissed that she wouldn't be able to help much. She would however "hold her own" since she desperately wanted to save her friends and teachers.
Looking to Veronika, Heather sighed again and asked "Are you scared?" with eyes filled with worry.

Veronika took the papers with a pleasant smile and looked through them. She paused at Onyx's picture and admired him for a moment. Jasper is his real name! Sounds rather sinister, I must say. Oh he powers dark matter? How deliciously bad. She sighed and skipped over the others for the most part the rest of the students. They were of no interest to her, but she could always keep the papers on her and skim through them when she needed to and blame them on not having the best memory.
Veronika heard the one called Ironclad yell out that he's not babysitting. He is quite attractive for such a brash man. Perhaps when I'm a bit older I might have him for myself too. Now back to Jasper's picture. I think his was right before the hobo's... She stopped when Heather asked her a question. "I'm not as scared for myself as I am for the others," Veronika whispered with an Oscar worthy look of concern on her face. I really am good at this.

Ali looked over Onyx's shoulder as he read the next set of documents. "Please do try. It would be terrible if you let you rage turn you into a demon. That might be it for you, you know? So just keep that in mind Darlin'," she said with a small smile. Allison read over his shoulder carefully, looking over the kids powers. These kids are packing some power thats for sure. It will be interesting to see them in action. I better remember this information in case Cap'n or I need it later. It's amazing the abilities people had. I wonder if they say is true, the ability makes the person. Or maybe its the person makes the ability... I'll ask Reed next time I talk to him, she thought as she looked up to Mason's comment.
Ali rolled her eyes and gave him a look that plainly told anyone she wasn't happy with his last remark. "Mason darlin', please. Everyone will do their very best. You can't ask for anything more," she said remembering what it was like to be pushed to use her powers when she didn't quite know how to handle them.

Hank sighed and looked over at Mason, who was sitting there without a care in the world. "Speaking you're mind as always Ironclad. Dazzler is right, everyone will do their best in whatever they do. That is the most anyone can do," he said before he sat back down to take over piloting the plane. Hank sighed and steered the jet through the now heavier snow as he heard the students talk amongst themselves. He looked over at Dazzler and smiled at the attention she was paying the distraught young man. 'Ali never could resist helping the outsiders. I take it that is why the most reclusive people, including myself speak so highly of her. She was the only outsider that Hawkeye spoke highly of. Blackbolt has never taken such a liking to an Earth dweller like he had to her. I even remember seeing Tony himself confide in the girl when she stayed with us for awhile. She really is a lucky star,' Hank chuckled to himself at his little joke as the approached New York City.
"Everyone, we are officially in New York City. We will be landing as soon as we get to Stark Tower. Please make sure you have all fastened your seat belts and hold on tight," he called out as he prepared the plane for landing. This was going to be a bit bumpy with the strong wind. 'I hope these kid can get it together for this mission. The lives of our friends are at stake and we cannot afford squabbles of teenage angst and drama between the students,' Hank thought to himself with a sigh, hoping that all would work out.

With expert ease, Forge brought the plane into landing gear, prepping it for landing. He set the focal point for the landing as they approached Stark Tower. The landing base had to be opened up, which Beast needed to authorize. Stark Tower was just a bit away and despite Forge's recklessness he knew that they had to approach carefully with all these buildings and the growing snow storm. He turned the jet slightly to circle the area for a good landing angle. With the wind force, the plane jerked to the side a bit, causing many people to lean to the left.
"Just authorize it and say the word Henry, we're prepared to land. The rest of you sit tight and hold on," Forge called out as he waited for Beast's confirmation to land.

Though Mato was quite skilled in the traditional Cheyenne Combat, he was more skilled in the art of healing both the soul and they body. It was wise of me indeed to have medicine pouches with me, he thought as he patted the belt he wore with different pouches holding many kinds of healing herbs and mixed medicines. Recently he added a set of cleansing herbs to cleanse and purify a person's soul. That was a rather difficult task, but Mato had recently mastered it.
He looked out the window and at this magnificent city he had only seen pictures of and on TV at the lounge. Mato's river colored eyes studied the scene before him as he sat there in silent awe. "This is more magnificent than I could have ever imagined..." he whispered as he looked at the city in wonderment.

Getting her thoughts down on paper was good enough for Gina for the moment. It occupied her enough for the trip, but she couldn't mess around anymore with "what-if's" and "mighta-could's", she put the pencil and papers down in the seat next to her folding them over and tucking them under her guitar. Reaching up she turned the light off over top of her and closed her eyes for a moment. Decibel knew it would be mere minutes before they got to Stark Tower now, but she still wanted to grab a moment for herself, to meditate and center her thoughts.
It was a ritual she developed when performing. She would take a minute or two or maybe five before a show and just sit and listen to things around her, and within her. She hadn't ever really studied meditation, but she knew she would need plenty of focus for this trip to LIMBO. She hadn't had any sleep for what seemed like two weeks now anyway with her break from school being one of the most hectic times in her life. Performances every night and practice for hours every day.
Truth be told she was wanting to just go to sleep, but she knew that would make her next to useless. She'd just wake up all cranky. So, instead she just put her head back and closed her eyes and visualized what was very likely to happen to them all in the far too near future.

Trying, just as they'd practiced, to focus on Mason she looked into his eyes. Tracy had managed to block out so many more emotions than those contained here in this group, and now what seemed so small a task was hardly small at all. The fact was that when she traveled in the world at large, using public transportation, or found herself in large groups of people it was far easier to deal with than this flight was proving to be.
Reaching up with both hands she cupped one to his ear as she gently pulled Ironclad closer to whisper to him. "Mason this is really hard for some reason." she scrunched her face up and cringed her shoulders a bit trying to figure out why. "I think maybe because the intensity of what we're all feeling is pretty fierce, or maybe because I'm dealing with my own stuff too, but I'm having a bit of trouble here." She leaned forward a little to check and see if Gina was watching her.
Thankfully the Hellion had closed her eyes and turned off her overhead light. She was resting, or so it appeared, and calm Tracy could tell by sensing her emotional state. Speaking softly from a normal distance HeartString said "Maybe I should take a page out of her book. Gina is so super calm right now, I envy her for her self absorption. Alright I'm focusing on you, please stay centered for me for a minute or two, okay?"

Somehow in the mystical powers of the Earth, Mason managed to keep his composure cool and levelheaded when Tracy grabbed him and brought him extremely close to her face. All he woould have to do is move forward just an inch or so, and then he could do what he almost did at Christmas. Thankfully, Mason had a cool head and knew that he couldn't afford to start anything with her. He could deal with her little moments of cuddling up to him, but when Trace insisted on having him close to her to concentrate on her, it drove him nuts. Gina better be good for a long night at this point. A really long night, he thought as he took a deep breath.
"It's alright Trace, everyone's emotions are just high. C'mon girl, we practiced this just find my aura or whatever. You know me girly, concentrate on me and ignore Gina and everyone else. She shouldn't hold this power over you," Mason said softly holding back the urge to cup her soft cheek. He discreetly let out a long breath that he was holding and allowed his mind to focus on the mission and the adrenaline rush that he got whenever he was taken on a mission. Mason pushed back the desire for his best friend in the back of his mind, focusing on adrenaline and concern, even allowing his mind to wander to Gina. Anything to keep Tracy from knowing how he felt. Man we really need to land this thing, he thought as he concentrated on those core emotions.

Onyx reached over and found the safety belts for his seat and tried to fasten them, looking very confused at the belts which criss crossed over him. "Was gibt es in New York, das uns helfen wird? Wo gehen genau wir?" *What is there in New York that is going to help us? Where exactly are we going?*[/sup] Onyx asked curiously at the blue furry man, not even in a solid enough mind to try and speak english. His mother tongue was so much easier to comminucate in when he was nervous or anxious. Right now he couldn't help it, his original worries of getting Aideen out of Limbo were only now added to his new fear given to him by the Pretty blonde woman. He knew he had anger issues, but they could make him become a demon? That was a little too much for him to handle with a calm head.
"Ich werde Sie wissen machen wie viel längeres, das es sein wird, bis wir in Limbus gehen können, oder jedoch wir erhalten die anderen aus. Wie viel Zeit? es gibt? Hölle ist Hölle für nichts nicht gerufen ..." *Do you know how much longer it will be until we can go into Limbo, or however we are getting the others out. How much time is there? Hell isn't called hell for nothing ...*[/sup] He added in a little calmer voice after a few solid and deep breaths. He was desperate to do all he could to get Aideen out of Limbo. Right now he wasn't even worrying about his damn bike keys, at the most he could simply change the ignition lock and get a new one. No, he just needed the knowlege that she was safe and out of there. Nothing would calm him other than that.
Still, he was beginning to worry about the others. But only slightly. There where a couple of other students that looked very weak, and somehow, despite his intense hatred for them, he couldn't bear the idea of more blood on his hands. He wasn't sadistic in the way towards humanity. It reminded him too much of the reason why he got sent to this school. If he was going to get anywhere in this, he would need to get his head in gear and prepare himself for doing his bit for everyone.

Heather nodded once Veronika responded to her question. There was nothing more she could say or think. All the water manipulator could do, was sit there and wait for them to land at wherever they were going. Thankfully Dr.McCoy was able to inform everyone that they were officially in New York City. Wow that was fast, she realized. Then again they were only upstate from the city which was a couple of hours driving. However a normal plane ride on a plane would probably be maximum an hour. They got there within minutes. Makes one wonder about who the government is funding when it comes to technology...
She heard chatter around the plane, more complaining from Onyx. However at this point there was not must disdain from Heather towards the German. She assumed he was complaining about Aideen; he cared about Aideen and that was good enough for her to understand his pain. She felt the same, if not more, for Ian and Lorelai. They were the two closest people to Heather, and losing them would be unbearable.
Waiting for the plane to land, Heather looked out the window and sighed as the familiar bird's-eye view of the New York skyline appeared through the clouds.

The minutes ticked past, some on board the Blackbird felt the time flew by while others could have counted minutes between the seconds, as for them time seemed to stand still.
