He was the one from last night, yes, was he the inner workings of the mind replayed the previous nights events in the cafeteria, as Stephen's eyes looked past the boy and the girl who both looked years younger than the two college level students. The eyes of the Shade seemed to stare blankly as their gaze fell on Calorie and words issued from the darkness that dwelt with him now. "Impressive, a helmet on too you say?" blinking the dark eyes seemed to focus on the food-morpher's head. "Cute." he said with a dry smugness.
The Shade turned to pour a cup of coffee and picked up the mug blowing to cool the dark liquid. Taking a sip, a calm seemed to flow through the body of Stephen Lynch as the hot liquid melted it's way down deep. "Ahhh, black coffee." he grumbled "Why you back here early, Kelly? Hellions are required to be, but not you and the Corsairs. You come for practice?" The Shade went back to his cup of coffee, closing his eyes and inhaling the aroma. "Looks like you've got the chocolate thing down pat. Aside from that," he shrugged nonchalantly "maybe this little girl would prove a challenge." He cocked his head to the side offering the statement as a joke and a burn. "Never seen Emma eat cake Kelly, don't think it's gonna help you. No not with this one." He shook his head, as his eyes opened slowly and stared at the rival team member.

Kris chuckled gently while the babbling chocolate eating cutie tried to put together a seemingly difficult train of thought. 'Ah, he's one of those kids, the ones we got after a good cricket match and a conk to the noggin with the ball. Poor darling.' He thought, his smile softening a little as he made himself his cup of tea, pouring the now boiling water into the mug with his tea bag and leaving the little string hang over the side while he walked to the fridge in search of milk. He had a sweet tooth, and baby tea needed milk. "No, these perfect and gorgeous teeth don't come from anything other than healthy eating and taking care of oneself. These pearly whites are too good for any kind of dental help." He said over his shoulder with another small chuckle.
Poor guy was one of those 'special ed' kids probably. They had them back in his school in England, they where thick there too.
With a happy head he listened to the bickering between the two students and as he pulled the milk from the fridge and set about pouring some into his mug he looked to the pretty girl and gave her a small wink. "Pretty; don't make the boy think any more than nessissary. The little mouse running in the wheel hasn't quite gotten the love of excersise with thise one me thinks." his joyful chuckle sounded again as he turned back to the slow guy, taking a quick uo-down glance at him physically. He was fit to say the least, and was probably someone who liked to make sure they where kept in shape.
"I'm English, my flight got in last night. Im not pleased about having to come back to school but what can we do, im apparently some mutant so life must go on, 'eh?"

Looking at the weird little boy, Calorie looked at him completely perplexed. "Whoa man, do you have your mouth full or something? You sound like you have a really really bad cold and your mouth is stuffed with peanut butter. Ease up on the peanut butter man," he said shaking his head. He looked back at Shade and took off his helmet. "Man why can't people learn to speak American? It would make things sooo much easier," he said noticing that Shade had been looking at Hemlock intently, but not paying attention to it.
Calorie glanced at the little girl and started laughing at her rather obnoxiously. "Her? Oh come on Shade. Mason made me do these crazy things over and over and over again," he said in an exasperated tone, remembering those grueling exercises in the Danger Room. "You know what he made me do before the break? He made me fight in some crazy possessed forest. That was just wrong. How is a crazy possessed forest like Christmas?" Calorie said and looked at the girl laughing again before casting her off as a girl that he would look at more when she was older and had bigger boobs. Boobs are nice, he thought with a smile imagining Tracy in that bikini she was in the past summer.
"Well, see my parents sent me back and pinned this note on my lapel for Ms. Frost to read. They got kinda mad when I turned the car into ham," Calorie said as he looked at the salt shaker and turned it into a sugar cookie and took a big bite of it. "Maybe I should make something into a Ham for her too! Like her door or something! Want a cookie with that? We still got a pepper shaker I could use." His attention span had never been really long.

Tia noticed the person who'd entered after her speak. He looked a lot older than Tia, and now that she thought of it, so did the boy she'd threatened earlier on. She knew she wouldn't be able to chuck him through the wall in the first place, seeing she was still really young, and couldn't manipulate the power to suit herself just yet, but hey, they didn't know that did they? And if he did challenge her back, er. She'd think of what to do on the spot. Probably give some witty verbal retort.
She pushed the thought away, ignoring what the guy had said. Though, she still couldn't help but wonder weather he'd meant it as a compliment or weather he was just mocking her. Maybe this little girl would prove a challenge. She didn't bother looking at them, continuing to glance at the other boy and the kettle. After like, half minute or so, the boy seemed to speak to her.
Pretty; don't make the boy think any more than nessissary. The little mouse running in the wheel hasn't quite gotten the love of excersise with thise one me thinks.
That wasn't actually funny, it wasn't funny in the slightest, but still her lips twitched slightly, she had to admit, it was a good one. But she pushed it away, wait, what had the boy called her? Pretty, hark, was he taking the mick? No one ever called Tia pretty. She wasn't pretty at all. Plus he had a joking edge to his voice. She wasn't sure if the joking edge was for calling her pretty, or talking about the older guy. "Ha ha ha." she spoke, her voice slightly lowered yet filled with sarcasm, as she looked at him, her expression indifferent. She probably shouldn't have said that, but he probably was taking the mickey out of her.
She moved her head away from the boy, waiting for him to be done with the coffee, she looked the other way instead, and the boy she'd threatened earlier spoke. She'd registered that his name was probably Kelly, seeing that's what the other - creepy looking dude - had called him. She let his words fly out into the air, what he'd said was true, she was probably no match to him, but still, she didn't need to show she was weak.

"No man. I got cereal." He went to the fridge and pulled out some orange juice. Fruit Loops with orange juice instead of milk, it made the mouth burn from all the citrusiness. "B'sides Kell- I think that stuff you make tastes funny. Sorta off. And NO I don't think ham would get you out of this frying pan. Emma's gonna roast your ass you know, you are screwed."
He put the orange juice back and got a spoon out of the drawer. Digging into the cereal to feed Stephen's body something made the Shade look up again at the young boy. Then he proceeded to eat some of the crazy breakfast cereal concoction as the thoughts of sustenance subsided within. "Kell," He said with his mouth full, "we need a picture of you, just to remember what you used to look like." It sounded like a joke, but the tone of his voice was far from that. He picked up his black cup of coffee and walked through the double doors out into the cafeteria.

"Na mate, you mean you wished people spoke colloquealy, sorry but if i went around daying 'dude' and 'man' all the time, i would sound even wierder than you think i do now. But did it ever occur to you that you sound wierd too? Im from England remember, to me i sound normal." Kris said snappily back to the brunet boy. Cheeky thing had the nerve to diss his accent; didn't americans adore English accents?! Perhaps this guy was wierder in more ways than one. Still, he was a little offended at having been called wierd already, he had gotten enough of that kind of unwanted attention back in the UK; although usually followed by a fist to the gut or some kind of object lunged in his general directon.
"Idiot." He grumbled, making a show of turning his attention to his cup of tea and holding it in two hands while he eyes up the other older guy. The dangerous looking of the two. Not usually his type but things could go differently for a while, Kris was flexible in more ways than one.
Looking back to the pretty girl, Kris felt hsi brow knit together slowly, the sarcasm was heavy in her voice, and totally uncalled for in his mind. "Hey pretty, dont take that the wrong way. I didn't mean to offend you or something, just making a general comment on captain airbrain here, didn't mean to make you upset. Everyone has an oppinion right?" He said; hoping he hadn't said something against the pretty ebony haired girl. She looked in need of cheering up, and he was always ready to help, no matter how long it took.

Walking into the kitchen, Rogue's eyes were less red than before thanks to a quick check in the mirror and some cold water to wash her face. The students didn't need to know her personal matters for their lives were more important and their safety. She looked to Calorie, Hemlock and Tempest. The younger students were of course hers (or rather still Nightcrawler's) and she recognized them immediately. She smiled and nodded her head. "Hello darlin's. Ah'm sure you remember me from the cafeteria meetin'," she said warmly. With that she went straight to business. No time was able to be wasted.
"Kelly, Tia, Ah have a mission fer ya that Ah think you both can help me out with. Ya in?" Her question was an order either way. But Rogue did want Tia to at least have an option. She was one of the new students in the Xavier Mansion, but still needed to get a feel on the real world as so many of the others have already.

Tia watched the creepy dude out of the corner of her eyes. He walked out of the kitchen, probably going to the cafeteria to eat. Tia would probably just stay in the kitchen, in hope that everyone else would be out of here. Her lips twitched at the thought, but dissappeared soon enough. She heard the boy who'd called her pretty speak again. She still didn't know who he was. He called her pretty. AGAIN. Was he really up for taking the piss outta her? She sighed, turning her head, to look at him, her dark locks making a slight swishing noise as the flew.
"Look... person. I'm not talking about what you said about the kelly guy. I'm talking about you calling me pretty. And you just repeated it. Sorry, but i'm really not interested in being taken the mickey out of. If you wanted to get me annoyed, mission accomplised dude." she rolled her eyes. "I'm not pretty, and we all know that only too damn well." Tia concluded her speech. She'd said it all really fast, her british accent extreemly prominant. She found it easier to understand the boy she'd just told off, compared to everyone else here. All the americans. She was trying to get used to the accent, but it was actually quite hard.
She pushed the though away, as another figure entered the room. Though this time, it was a teacher. She recognised the figure immidiatley. Rogue. Probably here for some breakfast too. Tia attempted a weak smile at her, as she greeted them all. Tia did indeed remember her from the 'cafeteria meeting'. She turned her head away from Rouge, looking down at the floor again. Though, her head snapped up, as soon as Rouge mentioned her name. Kelly, Tia, Ah have a mission fer ya that Ah think you both can help me out with. Ya in?
Tia blinked for a moment, she didn't know exactly how to respond to that, she was probably expected to say yes, but she didn't know if she was ready yet. What if she let everyone down? She was panicking slightly inside, and the wind picked up a bit, she didn't have control over her emotions at the moment. She breathed, calming her insides down slowly. Trying to re-assure herself, that she could probably do it. "Erm, sure." Tia shrugged, her eyes showing her nervousness, though her voice was steady. "... though, I don't know if I'll be of any help." she admitied quietly under her breath.

Kelly rummaged through the fridge and took out a block of cheese and a class of orange juice. He made the black of cheese into a double chocolate cake and turned the orange juice into chocolate milk. "Bye Shade! Hey I gotta show you the cherry bombs I got later!" he called to the odd Hellion as he left the room. I don't care what anyone says that dude is not weird, Kelly thought before he turned his attention on the other two.
"HEY! At least I don't sound like I have peanut butter stuck permanently to the roof of my mouth. I speak American not Artard," he said smugly. He started snickering like crazy when he heard that girl called pretty. "Ha your okay. If your boobs grow then maybe we'll talk. Now? Your just a- Oh hi Rogue!" Kelly exclaimed when the hot X-Men walked in. "Now see Rogue is a real woman. She's got the bo- Oh a mission? Are we going to Hershey Park? Is Ariel coming? I gotta wait for Emma though cause shes gotta read the note pinned to my lapel." he babbled. He had always been easily distracted.

Despite being probably one of the most frightened and unspeaking students in the history of mutants in her oppinion. The thought to go invisible to go to the kitchen never occured to the practically sleep walking Shimmer. Her sweat pants scuffing across the ground as she padded in the direction of the main source of food in the building. How it coped was a mystery to her. That sed mystery only growing as when she reached the doorway and looked around she saw a wall with a giant hole in it that looked to be surrounded by chocolate. "What in the name of heck happened to the wall? someone have a fight or something?" She yawned sleepily as her pink figure slipped past the teacher and other students. She wasnt even bothered about an answer, but it did make her wonder.
She yawned again as she reached up limply into a high cupboard, thanking for one that despite being 13 she was insanely tall. Once she reached the cereal that resembled her wish in a way, she went in search of milk, finding it already on the counter and smiled sleepily while finding a bowl and preparing her meal. She needed to eat.

Kris looked a little forlorn at the pretty black haired girl as she finally expressed the reason for her discomfort and upset toward him. "Oh no pretty, look im sorry but i don't know your name and well, its customery for me to call people pretty or cutie. I thought you'd prefer that to 'hey you'." He said, tilting his head to the side at her and looking a little hurt by her assumption that she was not pretty as he had said. "In my eyes hun, you are pretty; every girl is, you just gotta find it in them." He shrugged again, taking another long drink of his morning tea. He definately needed it with the cold weather outside.
Watching with a grin as Ms. Rogue as she walked in, raising his mug at her and grinning. "Morning Miss, how are you feeling this morning?" He asked politely, trying to cover the disapointed look on his face from the pretty dark haired girl.

Hearing Calorie, Rogue narrowed her eyes to the Corsair making him know that his little comments and opinions needed to be kept to himself. She was thankful that the boy was able to see she indeed had a fantastic figure, but that was just the problem, he was a student and not a friend. "Ah just might revoke my offer Kelly Burns unless you learn how tuh be a real gentleman," she finally said firmly.
Seeing Hemlock, another team member of hers (but soon to be returned to Nightcrawler), she nodded and smiled warmly. "Tired Mr. Binchy," she answered truthfully. "Just tired." The entire experience in Cerebra flashed into Rogue's head. She was still very distraught about Remy and everything they had together had faded away. She needed to let her emotions recess for now and wait until that night when she was able to share her thoughts with herself.
Looking to Tia, Rogue placed her hands on the young Paragon's shoulders and sighed. "Tia, Ah believe you are a strong young woman and this mission will be a good thing for you. Ah need your help to show a fellow mutant that we can help him to stay safe." It was then that Shimmer walked in and very lazily got her breakfast. She was naturally tired and then made Rogue sigh when she was reminded of Kelly Burns' wall desert. "Carelessness is what happened," she replied while glaring at Burns. Making time priceless, Rogue looked back to Tia.
"We need tuh go darlin' so please get yourself ready," she said firmly again. She needed to meet Colossus in the hanger in order to find this Gavin Croft.

"I'll be good, I'll be goood," Kelly said and downed the last of his chocolate milk. "Hey! I'll go get Hotwire and change! And then what Hanger time? Can I ride the Sky Cycle? Hey I can put on my new boots! See you Rogue!" he called as he took a chunk of his leftover cake in his hand.
Kelly looked at Kris and scowled slightly, a bit miffed. "It's rude to ignore people you know! I was talking to you!" he said and smashed the cake into the guy's chest. "People from Artardville or wherever you're from need to learn some manners," Kelly said and dashed out of the room, leaving his helmet and sled behind. "Hey Ariel! We're going to pick up a newbie! I call shotgun! " he yelled as he went to go change.

Tia's eyes widened, as kelly spoke again. Her boobs!? what the flip? How old was that guy? Like, a decade older than her or something? Tia blinked at him for a second before scoffing, and replying. "Why don't you go perve on people your own age mate," she taunted, letting out a rather frustrated sigh. He agreed to join Rogue on the mission, and so had Tia, but him coming along was just frustrating her even more. She pushed the thought away, she shouldn't let people like him disturb her. Her head turned around to look at the other boy - the one that had called her pretty.
He seemed to be explaining himself at the moment. She heard him out and replied with a simple, "Oh..." 'cause that was all she could honestly think of as a reply. She was too pissed off at kelly to feel bad for being rude to the other guy. Why did he care about her boobs anyway!? - Why was she thinking about it!? She moved her gaze around the room, trying to get her mind off kelly.
Rogue moved towards her and put her hands on her shoulder. Tia looked up at her, blinking with a blank expression on her face. As Rogue spoke to her, Tia honestly felt no reassurance, but yet, she did feel slightly more confident. "Alright." she shrugged. She bit her lip as she looked down at herself. She was dressed in skinny grey jeans, and a thigh-length baby blue t-shirt, with a light-grey zip-up hoodie on top, her hair was let loose down her back, messy as always. She looked back up to see Rogue. She didn't think she needed to change. Plus, she was wearing trainers, they were comfy enough.
Well, being an early riser and changing before leaving the room did have it's advantages after all. "I think i'm ready..." she muttered, straigtening up from her leaning-against-the-counter position. True she was hungry, and she hadn't got anything to eat, but she could eat later, hunger was never really too much of an issue. She could always catch something once they were back. "... how long do we have?" she inquired, her indifferent voice lowered slightly due to the presence of a teacher. She was wondering if there was indeed enough time for her to get a cup of coffee, or maybe hot chocolate. One of 'em, and she'd be fine.

Torri nodded slowly at the clearly not pleased tone of the teacher lady person. She was too tired to recognize anyone and really to taste any of the food she was eating. Everything tasted bland and nothing was really right with what it should be. Ah well, it was something at least. "God im starving." She mumbled to herself as her stomach on cue gave a low groan of upset with her lack of feeding. Torri was for one very slim, the height making it more prominant in the 13 year old combat student. Something about how she had actually wanted to be on the fighting teams was a snap decision and although she enjoyed the idea of having a team to depend on and help; she was still terribly intimidated by almost all of them. Almost all of everyone.
"Carelessness made a wall chocolate? Jeese, i gotta learn that. I like chocolate, but only the dark chocolate; its too sweet otherwise. Don't like it then." She mumbled, her brow creasing ever so slightly at her innane thoughts; mornings where never her strengths and still being more or less asleep meant that the tall Acolyte student didn't register anything more until she turned around: bowl in hand and spoon in the other, chewing quietly on her cereal to see the departing figure of the stupid tall student and another guy with cake down his front.
"Miss your mouth? Pretty big piece, if you wash it in lukewarm it'll come off better, trust me." She yawned before shuffling out, spoon now sticking in her mouth as she made her way out of the door again, gripping onto the frame so as to not fall over and spill her breakfast. She would head off to the girls dormitories and get herself a blanket and just snuggle up on the couch and have her breakfast then fall asleep watching disney films with the mini students.
