Ian had gotten the remote and plopped down on one end of the couch, making room for the rest of the group. "Dudes and dudettes, shut up! It's starting in like a minute and I don't wanna miss the beginning," he yelled to the noisy group as they all got ready to sit down and watch a rather favored show among the guys.
Dinner was amusing enough, though a bit weird for Ian since he was trying his best not to look over at Cyclops. He was convinced that he'd give himself away some how. Instead he concentrated on the conversation in the large diverse table around him. Everyone seemed to be in a better mood than normal. Personally, Ian was a bit annoyed when he found out that Frostbite switched teams on them and they had Katana now. He was fed up with Lorelai as it was, because no matter how hard he had tried to make things okay with them, she still was bitter about it. After today, he had it with her. Now Katana was tossed their way, and that girl did not have the greatest reputation. Ian was not looking forward to team practice.
Now he was sitting with the usual group in the rec room, getting ready to watch THE BEST SHOW EVER: WALKER TEXAS RANGER. "Hey someone pass me the chips, I'm still hungry," Ian yelled over to the group. "Ok, ok guys look its starting!" he said point to the beginning and waiting for the theme song to come on. He knew it by heart.

Alex had woken up in the Med Lab in the chamber fixing up his wrist. The pain of hid wrist coming back together woke him up. Screaming in agony he had been told to be still. The drugs he was on made him feel very weird. Alex looked at Dr. McCoy and thanked him over a dozen times. Dr. McCoy reminded Alex of the cookie monster from Sesame Street. Alex was giggling at the thought.
He had his knees, left thigh, and his neck bandaged. His right wrist had a cast. His forehead and left eye were severely bruised and you could see the blood on the white of his eye. He was given Antibiotics just in case for infection and Ibuprofen for the pain. After leaving the Med Lab he limped to his room and changed. The walk was long and tedious. Everyone was looking at him and talking about him. He didn't care he just wanted to get to his room.
When he got there he washed up carefully. He slowly and cautiously put on a shirt and jeans. He put his socks on and put sandals on top of that. He put on Aviator sunglasses and a hoody and tried his best to cover up the injuries. He decided to go to dinner at the last possible second to get some food when no one was there. He grabbed some food and ate a small amount and left to the Rec room.
As he entered he looked around cautiously and limped toward the bookshelf. He sat in a comfy chair and picked a book at random. It was an orange book with a blue stripe down its center. He raised his uninjured eyebrow at the name and begun to try and silently read.

"Hey Ian, catch!" Gavin said from 'his' chair on the other side of the couch as he threw a bag of BBQ potato chips to Ian, knowing he'd catch it. Him and Ian shared an obsession over Walker, Texas Ranger, never missing a show. And if they missed it, they watched it on the laptop Gavin's parents sent him that he was supposed to use for school. They both knew the words to the theme song by heart too. "Oh man this is episode with that crazy dude who tries to get revenge on Walker and thinks he can win. Man what an idiot. No one beats Chuck Norris," Gavin said and opened a bag of Doritos and began munching on them.
With the crazy day they had, it was good to unwind and they called the rec room at this time every night cause that's when the show started. It was generally a large group that came to watch it to, right from dinner. This dinner however Gavin found just plain bizarre. Everyone was in a weird mood and Ian did not look happy that Lorelai switched out and Katana was on their team now. Gavin was actually really pissed off about that. He still liked Lorelai and would still call her a friend, just was a little bitter at the rift it cause in the team. He'd get over it though, and toughen it out with the rest of them.
Gavin pulled the lever for the recliner to go out and sat back to enjoy his show, munching on his chips and waiting to see Chuck Norris kicks some people's asses. Any day that ended with that was a good day for him, especially if he had his chips. "Hey someone pass my pepsi," he whispered loudly since he left it at the other table.

Walking in behind Stormhawk, Katana shouted out "MacGyver might have a chance...Whaddaya say Norris v. MacGyver...I think I'd put $20 on MacGyver he'd make a rocket launcher out of pop cans and blow Norris sky high. Anybody else Norris would take 'em." Hearing Stormhawk ask for his pop she decided to be charitable..."I'll get it...you just save me a seat Stormhawk and have your answer when I get back," she said as she turned around and flashed a quick smile to her friend Alex, who for some reason was all covered up like he was freezing or something. She also gave a nod of acknowledgment to Diesel as he was her new team captain and she wanted to get on his good side quick.

Sean grabbed the can of Pepsi before Katana got to it since he was just coming back from the bathroom. "I got it Katana, it's alright," he said and walked over to Gavin to hand it to him. "Here ya go," he said and took his seat on the other end of the couch. He too was a big fan Walker, Texas Ranger and always joined the others for this show each night, since practices were generally held earlier anyways. Right now, Sean needed to unwind from the day as well. It wasn't as crazy for him as it was for others, but he felt the shift as much as anyone. He spent his afternoon in the garage with his Katie working on a car that Cyclops was letting him build from scratch, just to see if he could. He was still working on the engine, already having a rough idea of the body and the interior design. Sean liked to work on his stuff and spend some time with Kate, who either watched with interest or stayed on the side and spoke to him while he worked, introducing him to new types of music, sometimes bring snacks for them.
He looked at his teammate in the corner by himself a bit oddly, wondering why Alex was so beat up, but he didn't look sociable since he was off on his own and there was no way Sean was going to interrupt Walker, Texas Ranger. He sat quietly and watched the show intently, wondering if Kate was going to join them tonight. The two of them kept to themselves but did socialize when they wanted to or felt like it. Sean never missed this show so she'd know where to find him.

Heather grabbed a Pepsi for herself and walked in. Offering one to her best friend, she then observed the emerging crowd around the T.V. Of course Ian and Gavin were there watching Walker, Texas Ranger. In Heather's opinion it was a rather dumb show. However that didn't mean she didn't like Chuck Norris. The hundreds of jokes made about him were hilarious.
Hearing Gavin's request for the Pepsi, she decided to let Katana, then Sean get it. However she still needed to get him back for the day's worth of torture. Smirking and creeping up from behind, she placed the cold can on the side of his neck, hoping it would freak him out and throw the chips all over himself. She couldn't stop giggling when she waited for his reaction, winking to Veronika and pressing a finger over her lips, telling Sean and the rest of the group to be quiet.

"Yo can we please shut up! Save it for the commercial dudette, this is Walker, Texas Ranger not MacGyver. Thats just not right man," Ian said loudly in a blatantly annoyed voice. He was not gonna have his show by some people yelling obnoxiously. He didn't mind people talking quietly, but when it came to his show he wanted to be able to clearly hear everything being said.
Ian stuffed his mouth with chips and watched the show intently as it began, eyes glued to it and just waiting for Chuck Norris to come on screen much like every other big time Chuck Norris fan. No one ruins his show and especially not on a day like today.

"Oh shush -shush!" Kevin said running in and sliding on the hardwood flloor in front of the TV. "Damn I miised the intro? Aw man!" He looked back to Ian to make sure that his buddy could see over him and then to the person sitting nearest the drinks. He smiled and waved a little so to get their attention and made the movement of drinking something and pointed "Is there any orange soda?" he asked in a whisper.
He loved this time of the day. All the gang got together, mostly the guys which was awesome, and sat watching the 'GREATEST SHOW EVER IN ALL OF THE HISTORY OF TELEVISON AND MAYBE SINCE TIME EVER STARTED WAS THE BEST THING BESIDES SEX'- at least that was what Diesel had described it as. Kevin hadn't really ever remembred watching a whole episode, since it was sorta country, but he'd given it a try one night after a workout with his buddy and he decided it was cool enough. The best part about the time though was that everybody was there.
He didn't really care what kind of soda was there, but he was wanting something to wet his whistle. He was hungry and thirsty so much more lately since his workouts with Diesel were getting pretty strinous and hardcore. Kevin had even noticed how he was starting to show some little bit of muscle now and that was really awsome, except Kris wouldn't leave him alone. He was an alright guy, but he was really kinds of too much of a stereotypical queeny fag for Kevin's tastes.
If he had his choice he might go for Gavin or even Sean, but Riker still had him infachuated and then there was also Chase. Kevin was tired of getting hit on by Kris and he saw what it was like so he had stopped hitting on the other guys, cause it was kinda creepy. At least that was what Loralei had said everybody was saying when they had very candid discusions about stuff. He valued her as a friend but he didn't really know how to take the whole team switch thing. He decided to go and see her after the show and talk.

Sky was laid across the love seat adjacent to the couch with her legs across Chase's lap, the two of them surrounded by food. "Psst. Pass me the twinkies," she said with a wink as she ate from a tub of double chocolate cookie dough ice cream. And nothing goes better with that than twinkies. Sky was extremely hungry, since they came a little late for dinner and got the leftovers. Chase and her stocked themselves with food for their favorite show of all time that they watched just as religiously. Sky insisted that she was related to the Chuck Norris cause his character had the same last name as she did.
Rolling her eyes at Katana, Sky grabbed her own grape soda and chugged it down, letting out a burp. "Oops. Sorry," she whispered and grinned cutely. She reached over and grabbed a bottle of Orange soda she happened to bring with her cause she liked it with her chips. "Kev, heads up," Sky whispered loudly and rolled the bottle over to him, winking at the little guy.
She poked Chase with her socked toe and pointed to the screen. "Dude, we should totally get cowboy hats," she said with big smile. Sky was in a really good mood, cause her day ended great. Not only did she and Chase have a lot of fun together, she learned that Katana was off the team and Frostbite was in. That just made the day seem so much better than it already was. Best part was that it was all cool between her and Chase, both just in it for having fun. The new fun right now was the Amazing Chuck Norris.

Grabbing the twinkie and tearing open the plastic wrap with his teeth to get it started for her he passed the cream filled delight to Sky and said with his mouth full of Chips Ahoy "MMm yeahh, cowboy hats mmm- wanna cookie?" He held the bag open for her as he reached to grab his super big sized Nestle chocolate milk. Sex made him real hungry, and on top of that he was still feeling no pain from the bottle of vaodka that him and Riff-Raff had to kill.
The mission to return the bottle to Colossus room filled with water was hardly a success, but at least they didn't get caught and had lots of laughs and a good story to share now. "Aww Shit! That guy right there! My money's on him, in the blue shirt. He's first for a kick in the head- yeah!" Chase always tried to predict who would be the first guy to kicked in the head and he had a good 80-85% success rate at it. "Any takers?" he asked ever the gambler.

"Thanks SeAAANN!" Gavin yelped and jumped up at the feel of cold metal against the back of his neck, jumping and nearly knocking his lazyboy to the side. "Sorry Ian," he called to him, knowing that today wasn't the best day for him and he was really looking forward to the show. Gavin turned and pointed at the giggling Heather. "Blame her," he said and stuck his tongue out at Heather.
Gavin reached back and grabbed her hand, yanking her forward. "Hey can we call it a truce till the commercials? I ain't in the best mood and neither is Ian," he whispered so they wouldn't disturb the show. I can't believe Katana is on our team, he said to himself again, not even bothering to acknowledge her. He never liked her to begin with because she was a strong reminder of the people in his past, those that judged others based on their looks and one part of their personality that they didn't like. She was even hypocritical in the fact that she herself hated to be judged that way. Gavin wasn't having it, he was done with people like that and refused to keep company around them.
"Seriously this time. Look, I'll even share chips and you can share my chair. Okay?" he said and scooted over on the big plushy chair so she could just fit. Gavin was in a sour mood and wanted to watch Walker kick people's ass to feel better and Heather was his best friend so he didn't mind having her near.

Heather continued to giggle as Gavin stuck his tongue out. She got him back for now. However since he wasn't really in a good mood, probably because Katana was switched to his team, she didn't blame him. She found out during dinner, along with everyone else and was actually shocked. She hoped that Katana would at least be tolerable, because knowing Ian, he wasn't one to be so laid back anymore.
Nodding her head, Heather agreed and sat down on the same chair with her best friend. Even though she was slim and slender, they were still a bit scrunched together on the chair. She placed her feet over Gavin's legs, knowing he wouldn't normally mind since he was still able to watch his show. It was like this every night the show was on and Heather always looked foward to the commerical breaks. Unfortunately tonight was different, thanks to Katana's team switching. Good luck girl, was all she could say.
Taking a handful of chips, Heather decided to make her wager. "Round house kick, definitely," she replied to Chase with a low tone. She didn't feel like having Ian or Gavin shush her out of annoyance in not being able to hear their "precious little show".

Veronika sat in between Sean and Ian on the couch with a bottle of iced tea in her hand as they watched the rather crude and pointless show. Seeing grown men beat other men up is entertainment? I will not ever understand this obsession with Chuck Norris. What an odd name. Unfortunately I must make an appearance to these things from time to time to keep up my image. Mother is right, it is rather tiring. I cannot wait for her and Papa's arrival to see this wretched place. Mama promised to take Heather and me shopping to the big mall an hour from here. Papa promised me a shopping spree with Heather. She let out a dainty yawn and curled her legs underneath her.
It was nice to be near Ian and Sean without the albino whore and the zombie hanging on their arms. When the commercial came, Veronika patted Ian's arm sympathetically that was almost sincere, and blinked at him adorably. "I am so sorry Ian that you got stuck with her. I am sure she is not as bad as she seems. Perhaps maybe her place was not with the Paragons and she will find it easier to work with your team," Veronika said in her cute sweet voice. Better you than me. I hope the albino shatters that bag of bones.
She patted Ian's strong hard arm one more time before turning to Sean and giving him her most dazzling smile. "Oh Sean please I must tell you that the car you are making is starting out wonderfully. It has only been almost two weeks yes? I do not know so much on cars, but I saw the plans you left out and it looks like it will be wonderful!" Veronika exclaimed giggling and blinking up at him with sapphire eyes. She much preferred to watch this cowboy than the ones on TV, and she knew just how to get attention with a few sweet words.

At the commercial, breaks, it always seemed to Sean that the room came to life in noise with all they kept down during the show. When Veronika spoke to Sean about his plans for the car it made him really excited, especially that it got attention from Veronika. He adored his Katie girl, but hell any guy here was flattered by the attention of the gorgeous Russian girl. "Why thank you kindly Veronika. I been working on the parts first, working to make a real nice souped up engine and then I'm gonna use some scrap metal and mold a body for it. I wanna make a real nice interior which might just take awhile but I got time. It's a fun hobby of a sort for me," Sean said proudly and smiled at Veronika, tipping his cowboy hat to her as any gentleman should do to a lady.
He took a drink of his soda and waited for the show to come back, his ego stroked a bit that his project got a bit more recognition. Sean was quite proud of his work and over the past couple of months it only improved. He often worked with others as well, welcoming new projects. Cyclops let him work on his car and even some of the other vehicles in the school, and he helped out a couple of the students that asked for help with their own cars or bike. Just last week he restored Choppers bike nicely and even added a gear to it.
Sean grabbed one of the bags of chips that Gavin had and took some to munch on. He offered some to Veronika and Ian with a smile, keeping his eye on the TV for the show to come back on.

Alex had looked up to the Chuck Norris fan club and saw Leah. She had made a distinct smile toward him and he just lightly waved back. Alex read for about fifteen minutes before deciding to put the book back. He closed the book with a loud *thud* and stood up and limped toward the book shelf. He slid the book in slowly trying to avoid pain. He let the book stick out slightly, this was his way to remember what he was reading. He looked at the books surrounding "The 48 Laws of Power" and straitened them out. Even thought he had no doubt that he would not forget the book but he did it out of habit.
He walked over to a chess board and began to set it up. He enjoyed the game even when he played against himself. It was a game of thinking and strategy. And he was up for anything that would keep his mind off of today.
