Mason had to smile just a little bit when Tracy gave him the report on the guards status. He had to maintain a professional and business first outlook when it came to missions and anything to do with the team, and he really appreciated that Tracy just got it. It was one major reason why he never dated a girl within the school. Once he had his act together on the Paragons, he didn't screw around when it came to the team. When Cyclops declared him Captain, his duties were constant. Mason took on the role to keep his cool and composure even in the most critical situations. Just because he wasn't prone to showing emotion or affection never meant that he didn't care. He'd do anything for his team, and cared for them more than many gave him credit.
Nodding at Tracy and winking at her discreetly, Mason's own dark eyes met that of their ever elusive and cunning Fox. The Six Shooter Blitz.... we can do that. It's gotta do without Reyes cause she's wiped out. Hmm yea this will work... he thought and nodded at Fox. He snapped his fingers to get the attention of his teammates, waiting until he had Mato's attention before beginning the silent commands to his team.
He pointed at Kelly first, and then pointed to the guards in front of the bunker. He then looked at Aideen, with eyes a blaze that made him smirk in the back of his head at the many guys in school that would drool at the sight, he pointed at her next and then at Tracy, giving her a look and pointing right up at Mato. Looking at Mato, he made a motion with his hand and pointed to the bunker.
This plan had to go smoothly and quickly. Kelly turns the area into some kind of a food and makes them sink into it, Aideen makes a line of blazing fire to surround the guards and keep them from shooting. Mason disarms the remaining guards, Tracy puts her insane gymnastics to use, jumping up to Mato who would catch her and fly her to the checkpoint. Mason knew that Ariel would have to sit this out, but he also knew that she'd back them if they needed it.
He looked right at Kelly and nodded his head signaling for it to begin. He whipped his guns out and got ready to shoot and disarm the second they had the chance.

Kelly looked at Mason, regrettably tearing himself from the daydream he was having about the girls in their bikinis for summer to listen to him. Sure he paid attention, but Kelly's eyes wandered to Tracy's ass a good couple of times. Thankfully, he had the sense to at least get what was supposed to go down. Ok so I turn that stuff into food and they go down and then we're good. I can do that. Totally. Man Tracy has a nice ass, he thought dreamily until he got the signal from Ironclad.
Jumping a bit, Kelly moved in a panic the way he did whenever he was instructed to do something and turned the area in front of the guys into sticky honey. They sank into it right away and began yelling. Kelly looked back in time to see Aideen with just a blink of her eyes set a whole ring of fire around the guards at the base of the Volcano. "Man you really are the 'hottest' chick ever," Kelly said laughing at his own joke as the rest of the plan executed in only a short time.

Mato patted one of Ariel's arm that held onto his waist comfortably. "Just hold on for this, I will try not to be too sharp," he whispered when he got Mason's instructions. With Kelly's move, all the motions went into action. The Platypus in Kelly was excited as ever to complete the task and the fierce Cougar did it's part quickly and efficiently. The fire was so hot that Mato even felt a bit of the heat of it from his position.
His mind was one with the heron and Mato swooped down just in time when Tracy jumped. The heron's legs extended with the urge from their connection and caught Tracy's petite frame right around the waist. The talons of the massive bird fit neatly around her waist and held he securely as they quickly flew to to the bunker. The heron let her go close enough to the ground for her to land safely.
Shots rang in the air and Mato brought the heron right back up to watch the plan progress, steering so Ariel may see in case she was needed to use the small amount of energy she had to keep this well put together plan in order.

As they had practiced so very few times the tactics they now employed were fueled more by excited energy than experience. Tracy felt the excitement in herself as well as each of her teammates, and their exuberance fueled her. Just like in the other two times they had successfully done the mid-air swooping catch, Mato was just about perfect with his drop off altitude and speed. Tracy used every bit of it to perform a roll and leap in the carefully retained bit of real estate that Calorie had left for her use.
Nice landing strip Kelly. She had tucked tight as she hit and rolling out into a leap she launched herself right at the terribly thin slot that served more as a firing position for the guards inside than a window. In mid leap she worried for a moment that her ample breasts would cause her to get stuck, but she quickly forced it from her mind as the aperture had just enough space for her to slip through. With a quick flip landing she took to her fighting stance and kept the momentum of Mato's Heron flowing.
She had already known the relative positions of the Cyborg Nazis inside the bunker and had devised a quick strategy before she had even left Mason's side. She put her plan into action then striking the two at the far side of the bunker with spinning kicks to their heads before they had even turned around. Then three back flips found her standing between the two who she had just dove over and between as she had come through the window. Her hands flying up and out she struck each in their neck. With the energy and momentum generated by her gymnastic movements they dropped instantly flopping on the floor like two smelly sacks of potatoes.
A quick check of the bunker and she found the 'kill switch' in the form of a World War II era cypher machine. The big button with the signature X-Men 'X' on it winked red at her in a silly caricature of something dangerous. "Hmmm... 'X' marks the spot." she said with a giggle and pressed the button. Almost instantly the simulation began to shut down. Tracy stepped out of the bunker dusting her hands off and smiling at her team. Looking up she waved to Cyclops who watched from the observation dome above. A gesture not far removed from a salute. "Whew! Good job guys!" she hollered to her team, she could feel the relief in each of them and the pride at having finished a truly grueling Team Practice.

"Well done Corsairs!" Cyclops voice squawked out of the vox-comm on the wall "I'll be right down for the de-brief." He set the Danger-Room to playback in his virtual 'war room' and made sure to transfer control to voice recognition before climbing down out of the observation bubble above his team as the stood in the big chrome room.
As he walked out into the arena large training area it molded around them all into the familiar setting of the De-briefing room. Chairs were ther but no one was going to use them they all wanted to watch the playback on the tabletop that showed in miniature what each one had done. Scott took pains to show their errors and pride in showing their victories in the many encounters they had just lived through. Pausing and backing up. Zooming in when Kelly had questions...and when he wanted to see the monkeys again...and he almost fell for it but didn't zoom in to see the climb up the slope of the volcano.
"Ultimately you were quite successful and each of you should be more than pleased with your performance. If there are no further questions?" he looked over at Kelly knowing that no matter what he might be thinking he did know it was time to leave, and being a creature of habit he kept his mouth shut. If I could only get him to do that more often...oh well he smiled, nodding his approval at their team work. "Job well done. Corsairs-" he waited for them to come to some kind of position of attention before saying "Dismissed!"
