Never shuts her mouth does she? I would shut it for her I might...no...no you can't...you....I will if she doesn't shut up I swear it as you breathe so shall she not... Struggling and striving for submission of the other the twisted wrinkle in Stephen's mind fought him like the untucked corner of a fitted sheet wrapped around a leg on a morning when sleeping rather than kicking at the sheets was what was preferred. Snarl did his upper lip as he shook off the fight within his mind.
A heavy crack of cue ball against the tip of the rack broke open the triangle of orbs and set the game to motion. Two balls dropped into pockets and a curl turned his snarl into a grin. "How fitting -low balls...Ever the underdogs, but always so solid eh Chester? You on my team or what?" Stephen knew Stoney wouldn't bother to entertain Brock's questions if he didn't want to, and the game was needing tending to.
Talking always with talking and making with the sounds of blah blah and blah - just look at them sitting there sucking on the air and glowing with life The SHADE interupted his thoughts with it's ever dark commentary yet again Oh how tasty to drain one of them, the girl who wont shut up might be filling she seems pure and virginal enough -heh yessss One might lay odds on her having been laid, odd as she is amongst this group. Sticking so very out, like a cupcake amongst vipers and dead things.
Stick in hand he sank another before finding himself without a shot and strategically banking the cue ball to hide behind the Eight ball and some other solids, their numbers shielding his opponents from their own striped high balls. The best play he had, as sneaky as a game with his own people really ever got. For the Hellions, as harsh as they were to outsiders, were nearly decent with each other in the realm of fair play. Keeping as they did to the timeless pirate code and honorable thieves guild handbook when in doubt.

"Hmmm tried to blow up the entire school, yeah and spent some time with the Brotherhood we know all that." Inflict said stepping into the conversation. "If it wasn't for her raising a hand to our boy Rumble here, hey she might be pretty cool, but as it stands she's got something coming to her. So we need a little more than your self pity and sour grapes, cause my freakin heart is bleedin for you over here." Norrison said condescendingly.
He knew she was going to be a big help, but he didn't want to have her feeling like she helped them. They were the Hellions for Christ's sake and they didn't need anyone's help...at least that was the reputation "What can you tell us about them, not their powers cause we know what they can do. Tell us something that's not on record. You were their friend their team mate...what kind of lame shit do they like to do and where they go, what do you know about what scares them, what thrills them, what makes them tick."
He waved the waitress over showing her his empty shotglass as she got halfway to them so she knew what he needed. Turning back to say to "If you want to have any part in the sweetest just desserts conceived then you had better come to the table with more than just an appetite for revenge. But go ahead and shoot, you and Rose play the boys and Brock and I will take the winners." Norrison winked at his evil luscious temptress and nodded. He knew that Machete would ingratiate herself into the young lady's sphere of trust with divine elegance and minimal effort.

"Sounds like a plan baby," Rose said with the knowing look in her eyes, the sexy smirk on her face had so much more meaning than just a treat for her man. She knew how to work the ropes, being the the loveliest and thorniest rose in the team. She took the pool stick and walked over to Lorelai, swishing her hips smoothly and sexily. They all learned a lot as Hellions from Emma, and Rose took on her mentor's sexy nature, fitting herself into it as if it were a custom made glove. It showed more as she got older and Rose knew that Emma was damn proud of the way she used the sexuality she exuded to get what she wanted.
Rose slid next to Lorelai and winked at her. "You can start. Pool isn't really my thing." And that statement proved to be true. They played a rather short game, since Rose was not one for pool and wasn't really trying. She put on quite a show, bending over and giving Inflict, Rumble, and the bartender that kept looking over at her a good show. Rose would look over her shoulder and give a sexy wink that looked like it could have been aimed at any three of them and shoot the ball, usually missing her target.
"I did say pool wasn't my thing," she said with Stoney shot the 8 ball into the pocket, ending the game. Rose walked seductively over to her boyfriend to hand her the pool stick, exchanging a knowing look with him as she took a seat on the other side of the table, a bit further from the pool table and beckoned for Lorelai to join her. Rose crossed her legs and finished her Cosmopolitan. "So you dated that gross albino's little boyfriend huh? What was that like?" she asked with a raised eyebrow expecting an answer. She raised her hand and snapped her fingers, not even looking back, just pointing to her drink as her violet eyes were locked on Lorelai.

Lorelai rolled her eyes slightly as Inflict spoke; she didn't want sympathy, real or sarcastic. It was an opportunity to speak her mind and she wasn't going to let it pass her by, but now that she had gotten it out she would dig a little deeper. "Well," she said, twirling the poolstick in one hand, "They like to freak around in random places, surprise surprise. Haven does yoga in the observatory and Diesel works out with Hardlight in the gym... Obviously they like spending time with each other, chilling out in the rec room and wherever else...let's see. A weakness shared by both of them is Aideen- which isn't surprising. They are each other's weakness, that should be obvious as well... Diesel's weakness is also his friends, he'd do anything for them. That would pretty much be the Acolytes and some from the other teams.
"Let's see..." she thought aloud as she started playing alongside Machete, who really couldn't play. Lorelai knew how to play, but like she thought she was a bit rusty and didn't bother putting in effort seeing it was a losing game anyway. She was glad the game didn't last very long. "Right, Diesel gets worked up over a tv show, Walker Texas Ranger. It's ridiculous. Say one word to him while it's on or say something less than good about Chuck Norris he snaps at you. And oh yes, before Limbo Haven was contained in a stasis cell under Beast's care. In it she was her most vulnerable," she said, and then added, "They also can't stand Katana, the girl I switched with. She's weird and I don't think she has much of a chance of ever fitting in with the Acolytes. If they don't like her no one else will," she said with a shrug of her shoulders, and walked away from the pool table.
Seeing as it was now Inflict and Brock's turn to play Lorelai went up to Brock, her hips swishing a little and acted like she was dusting off the poolstick a little before handing it to him. "Your turn," she said with a smirk and bit her lip. When he took it she held onto it for a second or two more and let her fingertips slide up it a little before letting it go and let the sides of her lips curl up to give him a flirty smile and a wink. She then walked away when Machete waved her over to the further side of the table and took a seat across from her. Lorelai crossed her legs as well and leaned back in her chair, letting out a bit of a sigh as she was about to talk even more. She knew that she was giving the Hellions what they needed to go after Diesel and Haven, but she could almost feel herself tiring of talking about them. Regardless she knew it was for a good cause, so she would carry on until she could find something else better to do before they had to go back to the school.
"It was fun and nice while it was happening but the whole time I was what Haven is now, arm candy, just with better morals," she said with a little laugh, sparing details she didn't want to remember back to. Now it was the opposite of what she had felt for him and wanted nothing of what was before. "Always in the center of attention which I wasn't sure I liked and all that considering everyone just loves Diesel. Always was and still is about Aideen, too. And then after Limbo Haven made her intentions quite clear and when she pushed it and he went with it I was like.. no. So uh, I ended it and when he tried to make things better I didn't want that and today was the so to speak breaking point when I realized they got buried," she said, biting her lip with a giggle at the thought. "Such an interesting story, I know," she said sarcastically, "But I'm ready to move onto bigger and better things."

The game with the ladies had ended too quickly as far as Stoney was concerned. He knew now that he had little hope of avoiding Rumble and his insistence on information. He reached up to rub a hand down across his face as the smirk on Brock's mouth began to open up into some kind of comment. He was sure he wasn't going to like it one little bit.
Chester had a sense of chivalry, he wasn't going to tell his brother in the makeshift family of Hellions anything about the girl who he had locked is cross-hairs on. Reaching under the table to get the wooden triangle and rack the balls up nice and tight as he was known for, his mind put a pretty picture show up behind his eyes. He remembered days spent fishing with Chopper and Ember, climbing trees, playing hide and seek in the mansion on rainy days and trying to look like he wasn't, and the time the two of them sat doing their laundry in total silence with no one else around. Stoney had to admit that the young Corsair was nice, to be around and also to look at, be he did the later with respect always.
Finishing up and placing the rack back under the table Chester could no longer avoid the inevitable and so as he stood up and grabbed his stick he steadied himself and waited for the assault of questions to begin. This was not going to be fun, but he was not going to give in. Then a thought occurred to him that he could actually enjoy the whole thing if he decided to pretend it was all just a game as well and the goal was to get Brock to blow his top. A slight grin began to form on Chesty's face as he looked over at their opponents and made eye contact with Rumble.

Brock pushed away the empty beer bottles and the empty plate of nachos when he stood up slowly, his broken rips always making their presence noticed. Of course, those nifty little pills that the Dr. Fuzzyman numbed the pain nicely. He only felt it when he moved sharply, but he didn't care. It was all a battle for his prize, and when he wins Brock planned to enjoy his victory in every way possible. For now though, with the nice buzz of alcohol and medication going through his system, he was quite content thinking of different ways to enjoy that victory, sharing some of the lewd and crude ways with Norrison for a laugh.
"Well lookie here, our turn came so quick," Brock teased and the smirk on his grew when Lorelai handed him the pool stick. The girl was staying in his sight of amusement, and he knew she was doing it for that purpose with possibly additional ones. He'd hand it to her though, she played it well. She stroked his ego in a similar manner that he could say even Emma Frost would, and her cute little act had a nice ring to it. It amused him since he knew it was for his benefit, and since it was played out well, he didn't laugh it off. Just kept it in that sphere of amusement that served to feed his ego and entertain him.
Still amused, Brock went over to the pool table, slamming his hand on the ledge. He fixed his stare on Stoney, his cold blue eyes baring into him with the same predatory look behind it. "Stoney, Stoney, Stoney. I know you can talk, we all do. And this is something you really really want to talk to me about," he said in a laughing voice, the look on his face one of cold and lustful amusement. "My beautiful hot little prize, I know you got something for me. Don't tell me you got a thing for my prize now. Naughty Naughty Stoney, she's mine. And you know it as much as everyone else here," Brock said staring hard at the large Hellion. He nodded for Norrison to start as he kept a predator gaze on Stoney. "Now tell me brother, about my prize. Why is it that you're protecting my hot little prize hmm? Keep in mind she's my prize," Brock sneered waiting for any little body movement or sign that gave away his real take on it. No one would take his prize from him.

"Better tell em Stoney...." --!!CRACK!!-- He struck the cue ball into the rack of numbered balls hard and split it up wildly. Nothing sank into any pockets so it was an open table. "...or you know he's just going to keep right at you and the rest of your night is gonna be a big shit sandwich. Heh, nuthin on the break."
He looked over to watch the Shade try his stick at sinking something and just as he was about to take his shot Norrison cleared his throat loudly to throw him off. Grinning at their living smoke screen, Inflict said "Nice scratch my friend" and reached to retrieve the white ball and toss it to his partner. "You're up Brock, table is still open so take your pick."
Glancing back to check on the girls he caught the look from Machete as his own facial expression was one of questioning, her reply was aloof and encouraging. He knew that Rose was a gifted and cunning linguist able to pry information from a source with little effort and without them even realizing how much they might have revealed. This however, from the bits and pieces he was hearing when going back for sips of his beer, was hardly pulling teeth. The young ice girl was more than forthcoming it seemed to him and from Roses expression she was getting what they needed. He hoped it would be enough to form a bit of a revenge strategy and take care of the two Acolyte squirts that had laid hands on one of their own.

"Bigger and better things doesn't sound very hard when it comes to someone like that," Rose said in that same smooth voice while picking up a french fry and dipping it in ketchup carefully. She placed it carefully in her mouth just as someone set a pair of Cosmopolitans in front of them. Looking up, a smirk curled on her face when she saw it was the bartender she had been flirting with. Rose made sure that Inflict was watching when she looked up at him and gave him the sexy little eye play that never failed her. "Thank you so much, I was really.... thirsty," Rose said in her smooth and sultry voice, picking up the glass and taking a small sip.
"How is it? Suits you're taste?" the bartender asked her still leaning over the table in case he needed to take them back and do them over. Rose just smiled at him sexily and said,"It's very good actually, how sweet of you," she said and tapped his hand flirtatiously with her violent painted nail, throwing in a sexy little wink to finish her little routine.
A thrill ran through her at the feel of Inflict's eyes on her and she glanced at him briefly as she took another sip of her drink, passing the second one to Lorelai. "So he wanted to make peace then? Do you think he would still want, oh say talk things out with you now?" Rose asked winking at her. She shook her hair back again and looked over her shoulder to smile at the bartender. "Guys are so easy in certain ways. Would he be easy to even manipulate in thinking you want to talk things over?" she asked keeping her eyes on the girl now as she sipped the Cosmopolitan.

"I'm sure it isn't, but it's still my plan of action," Lorelai said with a smirk, resisting the urge to look over at the boys playing pool to catch a glance at Brock, since it seemed to surprise her a bit that when she had said she was looking for bigger and better he had been in mind. When the bartender brought new drinks for the two and Rose was flirting with him Lorelai glanced over at the pool table. She looked away just as soon as she had turned her head making it as if she were seeing how the game was going so far. She looked at the drink pushed at her and picked it up, sipping a bit of it before putting it back down when Rose spoke.
Lorelai nodded with a smirk and then laughed. "Yeah right I bet you he's as fed up with me as I was with him when things ended, which was pretty damn fed up," she said, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. At what Machete said next, she leaned back in her chair and thought for a moment. She pursed her lips for a second and then spoke. "I'm not sure. Maybe. He's oblivious with a lot of things but I don't know if he would go for it. After all, even before today I've been less than nice to him and I'm sure he was sick of it and after today had it," she said while still thinking.
Her eyes drifted to the Cosmopolitan as she thought about it a little bit more. "Yea maybe. Why, planning on have me act like I wanna fix things and lure him into a trap with you all waiting?" she asked, one corner of her mouth curling into a deep smirk at the idea. "It might work if he wasn't with his skank all the time. I probably wouldn't be able to get a word in before she'd try to beat me down. So yeah, maybe," she thought aloud, as she looked back up at Machete.

Standing watching Brock with a free shot, setting up and lining up the cue ball, Chester folded his arms across his chest. He managed a grunt of a chuckle as he thought about what kinds of things he might say to respond. He stepped away from the wall he had been spending his time leaning up against and walked over to grab his Bud and drain it.
Looking around he managed to make it known with a slight smile and a shake of his empty raised bottle of beer that he needed another round. Looking he saw everybody at the pool table could use another so he held up four fingers and whipped them around to cover the group. He liked the waitresses here and didn't think it was too much to run them around since that was their job, but he always made sure to slip them some more money out of sight of his comrades as an extra tip.
Scratching the back of his head he knew he was all out of stalling techniques. He had to say something and he didn't know what else to say but "Yup." He looked at Brock with his lips pursed together, taking a moment to gauge what he might be thinking that Chester was answering. He stepped back to the pool table and said "N'uther round comin." He tipped his empty bottle up to his lips hoping to catch a few more drops.

Brock took his shot, tearing his cold gaze off Stoney and looking to see where he shot the ball. He landed a striped ball right into the left corner pick. "We got stripes then," he said to Norrison and took his other shot, just missing the ball since his vision started to get blurred from the combination of alcohol and his medication. Brock blinked a couple of times and stepped aside so Stoney can take his shot. "You do gotta thing for my prize don't you? Bad Stoney man, she's all mine so don't even try it. That bird is gonna make me one hell of a victory, and no one's gonna stop it. Hell I'm taking freaking pictures, and I'm posting them everywhere. Gonna send a personal copy to Wolverine and that Albino and her boy toy," Brock said with a dark laugh and grabbed a beer from the waitress that came by with the drinks. He took a large gulp from the bottle and set it on the table.
The alcohol was noticibly hitting him and as usual Brock couldn't care less. He clapped a hand on Stoney's shoulder and looked at him coldly. "Imagine Aideen tied up. How hot is that? Her hand tied over her head and each of her legs tied to a bed post. Man she's one of the birds that would look twice as hot tied up than others," Brock said baiting him at this point, but for his own amusement as well at the truth in his words. "I'm gonna get myself lots of pictures of that. Tell you what Stoney man, I'll frame you that. You can put it right next to the one you got of your little shadow. Quite a combo ain't it brother," he said with a dark laugh and tipped his head back to down the rest of the beer.
"Just for you Stoney, I'll send you the really good shots of her rack and those hot lips she got, just waiting for something to be in between them and in that hot little mouth," Brock added with another dark laugh and leaned on his poolstick.

Ignoring his little minx, as she sat sipping her cocktail and flirting with the flabby bartender, Norrison focused on the game and his brothers in arms. "Have another there Brock." Norrison snickered at his partner. "Beers and the pills McCoy gave you are making your warm bubbly side show. It's quite a sight to see." He nudged the Shade in his ribs.
"What's with you and that skirt anyway? I mean damn, she's alright to look at, let's not belabor that point, but you're like making too much out of her don't you think?" He leaned his face down to take a lower look at Stoney's shot. "Never make that shot Chester, not in million years man."
"But, c'mon Brock, why? Huh? Answer me that one you inebriated goofball. Why the firebrand? I woulda thought you'd have your sights set a little higher than that. Hell she hangs out with Stoney there, and the little big mouth, what do you possibly think you have as common ground?"
He chuckled at the fun he was having at the expense of his fellow Hellions and their affinity for Ember. "O.K. today she was extremely hot, I grant you that, but before gym class today man I woulda pictured that dried up cooch of hers right at home in some nunnery or something. She's like the biggest prude ever man, hardly your speed....Now Gina, that girl was fun to hang with. Huh Chesty?" he said snidely.
Twisting the proverbial knife in the jagged aching wound in Stoney's heart he added "And as I recall Brock, you and her got to be reeeal good friends. If that Ember chick was half the fun Gina was she'd be someone to consider, but I'm tellin ya Brock she's a waste of your time man." With that Inflict saw Chester's face go red and he witnessed the cue ball screaming across the green of the table top and smacking into a tight group of solids and stripes, scattering them wildly around the table.
Three balls dropped in, two solid and a stripe. "Not bad, anger always was good for you my boyo, keep it up." he said encouraging Stoney. Then thumping the Shade hard but playfully in his chest he joked "And you said he didn't have it in him Stephen... Oooh ye of little faith."

Rose swirled the drink around in her glass, rolling her eyes at the bit she heard from the boys talking. If Norrison was going to ignore her, Rose wasn't going to stick around there and continue her game on the easy level she was playing now. She sipped the drink enough so she was about to more sips away from empty. "Looks like we'll need another drink soon. No sense having that poor bartender come all the way here to bring me another," she said with a smirk on her face. She stood up with drink in hand and walked with Lorelai to the bar, her hips swinging in her smooth walk in her sexy heels.
She hopped up on the bar stool and turned to the bartender with a flirtatious smirk. "Martini this time please, dirty of course," Rose said with a wink and turned back to Lorelai. The girl's willingness to tell them all she asked was sitting well with her, and that she was so eager to help them exact revenge. This intervention of a sort was going far better than Rose had foreseen, she actually wasn't minding the girl's company.
"Your ex and his latin whore crossed the wrong people. See us Hellions, we're a very close group. And one someone messes with one of us, they mess with all of us. And no one messes with us," Rose said giving the bartender a sexy wink and took out the olive, biting it off the toothpick sensually while looking at the bartender. "So if you are going to help us carry out that plan, we need to be sure that you're on board with everything, no matter what. Think very hard before you answer, because once this is in motion there is no backing out," she said quite seriously, tearing her eyes from the bartender and looked at her, the expression on her face one of no nonsense. Rose was never kidding when it came to her team, and she was getting a good feeling about this girl. And Rose was rarely wrong about these feelings.

Lorelai only smirked as she too got up, feeling a little dizzy in her head after drinking half the Cosmopolitan after her beer, and managed to walk fine with Machete to the bar, bringing her drink along to finish it off. She watched as Rose flirted with the bartender again and shook her head a little at it. The guy seemed to be getting smiley around Rose and was quick to get the drink. Lorelai placed her drink on the table so she would remember it was there and faced Machete when she spoke.
Her face went straight and contemplative at what she heard and let out a humorless laugh. "Only someone with the IQ of a slice of toast would be dumb enough to cross one of you guys, please," she said before lapsing briefly into a short bout of silence while she seriously considered the offer to join in. Not only will it get me in good with the Hellions, it'll give me my revenge on those two asswipes of former teammates. Things ended sourly, partially on my part yes, but no matter what it didn't get better, and blow-up-doll-come-to-life shit Haven made it worse for both of them. Now that I had enough, I had enough and they're gonna get it. Still though, seeing as I'm done with them something I'd prefer is to not have to deal with them anymore, but if it's for the cause of sticking it to 'em good then I suppose it's worth it to deal...Can I pull off a fake goody repentant act though? Aha, maybe, the Cosmopolitan is swirly, she thought, her eyes drifting off to her drink as it sat there, its contents swirling around to her eyes.
Lorelai blinked and focused again, pursing her lips in thought. Oh who am I kidding to pass up an opportunity like this? Sure I may get beat up but it's not like I can't fight and I won't be by myself. Psh, I can do it. Yeah. Concluding her thoughts she looked up at Rose's serious face. Her own face grew serious and an eyebrow arched slightly as she then spoke in a serious tone matching Machete's, "Long as you guys got my back in this as well, I'm in."

Laughingly he had messed up our shot say we The SHADE had thought when Norrison had messed up the shot by clearing his throat. A fine thing to do yes it was to torment the fools over some female of some impossible destination that a man of Rumble or even Chester's caliber would never be able to attain. Not in the fact that she was of such beauty... ...or even in so much as there being a greater extent of intelligence, if not some little more than to know enough to see a predator like Brock but then any one who might be prey,...yes anyone might be prey... even the mightiest eventually are hunted. No but she was untouchable in another regard, that she was not of theses students, so in fact did she conform without contradiction of herself and her own principles it seemed to we that she holds her highest principle to be that of doing what she is told even were no instructions given she is even, it looks, so everfully programed by her genesis and upbringing unlike any human is. So much more than a casual acquaintance with discipline- she, down to her every cell, swims in it -one might surmise. And The SHADE thought on... Look at them all, looks as do we now having before us a wellspring of humanity's most unremarkable. Oh such contrast from those at the school, no wonder the hunger gnaws as a dog does a bone on our guts as we live among the mutants at the school. Ah, pale to the palate these human meatbags are. He smacked his lips and played his tongue across the inside of his teeth. Their essence within held by the most splendid of designs for catching and containing energies, life energies to be specific as that be the substance of the intangible that lifts and animate the flesh by will alone...ahh we simply steam our way to the lacing's and untie them ever so gently letting the life flow out and gorge upon it.A man and a woman at the bar, holding their too thin spindled waxy hands together with the lust fueled by intoxications and born of neglect and loneliness. Too much of life all at once yet a life of a human is barely half lived since sleep is the greatest predator of all, even more so than death. ...creeping, crEEPing, creeping... A thief who comes in the night into our own selves and our beds and takes from us the hours of our life nightly. Yes cocaine cigarettes alcohol and sunlight and sugars that take their tolls and exact their revenge as they rot the teeth and the lungs, the skin and organs. rotting corpses filled his minds eyes as he thought back to the things he had killed in his feedings and had placed lovingly the dead bodies in a hallowed place near water. Always near water. Feuding with the desires for the pleasures of the flesh and succumbing to the becomings of life's own indulgences. Lost lost on a sea of lust swimming fully with ravenous regrets.Another game and another, the tables doting the great gathering place, the sounds ripe with happiness and fire of passion. Passion for victory for the taste of feeding on the hopes of another, for taking from them and for protecting what of their own hopes they mights still have left. Life ever so cruel and loud, vociferous on it's own boastings with the cacophony building so heavily upon itself as to crush it to a nothingness and silence the merit of the lack of sound a blessing. As within silence lies the remembrance of the sounds of life and the tortures of it.. it's harshnesses.. and it's joys...silence, resting, in tranquility. That was not where we have found ourselves and this thump on our chest!?! What is this all about, why does it matter, no longer do the rules apply...to others yes, but now a burden we no longer yield under. Returning from his thoughts, Stephen's mind a swirl with the encumbrances of two points of view, he caught himself up on the game and still yet had not a clue what Inflict was talking about.
