Tracy could feel the tension in the air when Jocelyn asked if she could come along. She was friendly enough, maybe too friendly in Aideen's estimations, although Tracy often had difficulties knowing exactly what that girl felt. It was like a white noise covered over the song of her emotions. She knew it was a practiced technique and looking deeper she saw the truth of Ember's emotions.
It had been a suspicion that she had nearly confirmed the other day in gym class. She was 99.97% sure then, but now Tracy was completely convinced. Ember and Wolverine were together for sure. "Joce hon, I'm sorry but please don't be upset..." Tracy frowned slightly "..this is.." she looked at the group as all of their eyes fell on her. She never gave anyone's secrets away, and never lied to anyone either if she could help it. Lies twisted her up and bent people's emotions into sharp jagged barbs that tore at her heart.
"Look the truth is Mason put this together and asked me along, I know he wants to spend this weekend having some time together with me and you know we'd be spending the whole time catching up. It's not my place to say come along, but as your friend may I ask you to stay behind please, for me?" She didn't know any other way to say it. Jocelyn was great fun, but where they were going might not be too friendly to outsiders. Plus what she said was entirely true. She wanted this time for her man. She would catch up with Splice soon enough.

Mason hard eyes was in complete surprise, but he covered it up with the feeling of what the hell... that came over him. He looked between Aideen and Wolverine, and then at his girl while she tried to let Jocelyn down gently. "Ya got art later, and you're not missing your first class. We're leaving now. Next time maybe Joce, but not now. Say goodbye, we're leaving now," he said not once looking at Joce as he slammed the trunk of his car shut. He watched as Joce said her goodbyes to Tracy, not looking offended at all and waved to them happily as she left the garage for lunch.
His hard eyes fell back on the three, not saying anything for a second, but knowing that there was something he was missing and he didn't like being out of the loop. "I know you ain't here as a chaperon," he said to Wolverine and looked back at Aideen with suspicion for a moment before an idea crept into his mind, or more so a suspicion. It was possibly the most emotions that have ever crossed Mason's face at once, it went from disbelief, to surprise, as he thought of how Aideen was acting even more mysterious the past couple days and well, how she for once didn't cover up that bangin' body that made just about every guy in the school go ape shit. And how two days in a row, Wolverine turned on Rumble. First in gym, and then flipping and throwing him out the window, something Ironclad had yet to forgive himself for missing. Finally a look of realization settled on his face. Mason was always a sharp guy, always one with an eye for details and observing so he would never be taken by surprise. Right now though, he was rendered speechless.
Mason blinked a minute and looked over at her Tracy, catching her eye and searching hers for a minute, his astonishment evident. "Alright then." he began and smacked the side of the car. "Let's get going. We'll get on the main highway and stop at that diner on the state line in about 2 hours. Let's roll." He opened the door and got in the car, shutting it shut and starting the engine that came to life with a loud VROOOM[/i]. Mason strapped himself in and waited for Tracy to get in and shut the door before he slowly pulled out of the garage and into the road, waiting for the other two to get ahead since he was following them. He looked straight ahead for a minute before glancing at Tracy, still in disbelief. "Is what I'm thinking what's going on right?" he asked waiting for the other two to pull out.

An amused look danced in Aideen's dark eyes as she watched the series of expressions make their way through Mason's generally hard face that only told people he wasn't one to be messed with. She hid a smirk by taking the time to place some of that sweet tasting lip balm on her lips, the smirk coming out slowly as Mason pulled out of the garage, still looking in complete disbelief and shock, well as shocked as someone like him could look.
Aideen glanced at Logan, eyebrow raised in amusement. "Hmm, think he figured it out?" she asked in sarcastic humor, the amusement still dancing in her eyes. She pushed herself off the wall and walked over to him, hands touching his chest and sliding over the hard panes of his shoulders as her hips pressed into his in that snug spot that seemed to always be a perfect fit for her. "Hi," she said softly before closing that small distance between their mouths. Everyone was at lunch now, the one meal rarely anyone missed and she wasn't worried about any onlookers.
Her hand slid up to his face, gently holding it and relishing the feel under her soft warm hands. She kissed him for a moment longer, happy just to be near him again. "Did I mention how happy I am that you're coming along?" she said with a small smile coming on her lips when she pulled away enough to look into his eyes. "Thank you." Her soft slender slender thumb moved over the outline of his cheekbone affectionately.
