Dante snorted and rolled his eyes. "Well I ain't gonna lick your face and bark if that's what you want," he said taking another pull of his cigarette. Damn broad talked too much, but he knew that it was either she talked about whatever was on her mind or have her drive him out of his mind with her confusing bullshit. She was like a gnat that buzzing in his brain with her weird ass temperament and her strange approach to things, especially him. He wasn't by any means a placid good guy, but he had his standards as well. His mom raised him better than to hurt women, though he was guilty of standing to the side as it happened. Dante kept his nose out of people's business and unless something was his business to begin with, he didn't get involved. Truth was that unless it was his sister he didn't bother making it his business, and he kept it that way.
Taking another sip from the flask, Dante lit up another cigarette, the itch to have another one was not something he was going to ignore. What could he possibly comment about this place? How the teachers were just like the power tripping authority he had an issue with at every turn? How the students all had more subscriptions than issues with the crap that he saw? This place was like primal in the sense that everyone had their own agenda, and everyone wanted to be top dog. Sure there were some lookers at the school, that chick that became an X-Men today was a prime example of one of the finest pieces of ass he'd ever seen, but it was all just a collection of brats paired with the spoiled rich snobs and tied in with a bit of stupid and naivety. There were a couple of exceptions, not much since the ones he met were so far on his team, including the broad sitting next to him. Oh and Ricki, but she was so damn innocent and sweet that it drove him nuts, but he couldn't bring himself to be the one to knock it out of her.
"People hear ain't that different than anywhere else Dolly. Half the people ain't even worth the damn trouble the try and start," he said taking another drag from the cigarette. "Keep your head down and &%$* the rest of 'em. You don't need to deal with their bullshit." Flicking his cigarette aside, he got up and grabbed his jacket, pausing to look at her laying on the grass, eyes going over her in thought. "Get up, I'm walking you back. With your sense you'll end staying out here all night." He pulled her up but let her go just as quickly, trying to refrain from touching her at this point. "Same time tomorrow Dolly, and this time don't be late with potential dinner following you."
