Lorelai walked with Ian with his arm around her waist from the library to the rec room. Getting out of the library made her happy, especially since someone had gotten her out of it; especially since it was Ian and she had spent the night thinking that he was mad at her even though it was all good. On the way there, she had listened to what he had said, admiring his hopeful and positive attitude despite that he hadn't seen Aideen in the library, seeing the way she was. She didn't press the subject, just merely nodded with a tiny shrug.
When he had explained about why he wanted to find Sean, she laughed, understanding, and awwed about how he had accidentally bent his sled, and couldn't help playfully pinching his cheek when he smiled sheepishly. He was just too cute, and the thought of sledding sounded like a very fun idea to her; something she'd definitely look forward to.
They finally got to the rec room, and she smiled when she saw all the various things they could do there. They could play pool or watch tv like normal, or do whatever they wanted, really. Since she wasn't exactly sure of what she wanted to do first, Lorelai led Ian to the couch and plopped down. "I'm thinking...if there isn't anything on tv, then what would you say to a little makeout session since we're alone, or would you settle for a game of pool?" she asked, smiling mischeviously, though she liked the first idea best since they had yet to actually get to that since things kept on happening that prevented them from doing so.

Ian allowed Lorelai to take him in the rec room. It would have been cool and all but it was so noisy from all the construction going on outside. He figured that it would be real noisy in the mansion since the construction was probably being done as fast as possible, meaning a lot of noise. "Aw babe it's noisy as hell in here. I liked the beach for a reason, cause they barely did any construction there and we were able to chill and relax all day," Ian said as he furrowed his brow slightly at the thought of having to stay in this noisy room.
"I dunno babe, I don't think I can concentrate on much in here," he said with a half smile as a big boom came from not too far away. "Whoa they must really be working out there. That was some loud noise, almost like the sound that elephant dude made when he burst through the front door the other day," Ian added with a wince as he thought of that rather unpleasant day.
"So what do you think Pipsqueak, can you stand it in here?" he asked the blue haired girl on his arm.

Lorelai pursed her lips as she contemplated that Ian was right; there was a lot of noise, though her thoughts had been flying about so much she didn't really notice it, though she did now. "Ahh, I know, but it's not like we can go to the beach now, can we? Well...I could and get away with it," she said, grinning up at him as he furrowed his brow a bit.
"You can't? Surely you can't be distracted by even me?" she asked, her grin turning playful though she turned her head at a big boom came from nearby. "Yeah, I know," she agreed, and then thought about the elephant guy thing too, her face scrunching up a bit in rememberance of about two days ago where everyone almost kinda sorta died.
"Hmm, well, I could say I've heard music louder than this but that would be a little bit of a lie, maybe music AS loud as this, but maybe I could stand it in here. Do you want to go somewhere else instead?" she asked, even though she wouldn't be surprised if the construction could be heard from all around the school, so where they went wouldn't really matter, would it?

Ian grimaced at the sound of a boom from outside and looked down at Lorelai with a grim smile. "Na babe, the idea of chillin' in here will give me a knarly headache. What do you say we get bundled up and go on a bit of a walk? It ain't as cold today as it was yesterday and a walk sounds chill (literally) and we can get away from all this crazy noise," he suggested as he kept his arm around her.
Outside sounded like a better idea than being in a room full of noise. At least over there they could get a relief from the noise and just enjoy the snow. It was still cold and the snow was pretty deep after it snowed last night pretty heavily, but a walk never hurt anyone before. Plus Lorlai liked the cold and they might as well enjoy it while it lasts.

Lorelai matched Ian's grimace at the boom they both heard. "You're right," she conceded, knowing she would get a headache as well. She could handle loud things to an extent before she'd get a pounding migraine. "Sure, we could go for a walk. You can get all bundled up, but I'll just put on a light coat or something, just for the sake of wearing it," she laughed, liking how she could get away with the cold. "And we can walk around where it's further from all the construction."
She glanced out the window and saw fresh new snow, and it was deep too. Walking would be a little difficult, but it wouldn't be much of a problem with a little sweep of her hand. They could even play in it maybe, but hopefully the playing wouldn't result in a repeat of what happened merely two days ago.

With a big grin, Ian steered them out of the recreation room and into the foyer. "Radical babe, I'll run upstairs and grab my jacket and the pair of winter boots the momster sent me from home. I'd grab my sled but I still gotta find Sean so he can help me fix it. But yea its all good, we can just chill outside and walk. Meet me outside alright Pipsqueak?" he said as he planted a kiss on her forehead quickly.
Ian grinned down at her and then ran up the stairs into the boys dorm so he could grab his stuff and look through his messy room for his winter boots and his jacket. Good thing he washed all of his stuff yesterday.
