Kevin heard Ember call out to run and he looked back behind them as Emma carried him. "Oh crud, they're coming fast." he said as he watched the events unfolding around him. He felt completely useless and such a little child in Miss Frots's arms that he wanted to get down and run on his own. The problem was he knew he could never keep up. He was amazed at how Loralei was able to keep her pace with the headmistress running with super strength and with Embre flying over. "I feel like I should be doing sumthin but I don't know what to do?" he said almost like a question, his head hurting with each stride Emma took a throbbing to match the jostling she was giving him with running with him in her arms.
Looking back to the front of where they were going because it was making him sea sick or car sick or somekinda sick looking backwards as they went, plus it was getting totally scary because the demons were closing in on them he saw they had come over the top of the hill. On the other side he couldn't see too much as it was kind smokeyish and there was lots of heat so things looked hazy, but in the distance he could see movement.

"You just hang on, okay Kevin, just hang on." Emma said as she cradled him and rushed forward a little faster. Thinking about Frostbite and how hard it would be for her to keep up she looked over to see her struggling to keep up but doing all that she could. 'This girl has something in her, a spark of greatness. She just wont quit. Even though she is obviously about to break.' she thought as she cleared the top of the hill and headed down the other side.
"Frostbite, how are you holding up?" Emma called out to her. "Think you might need to climb on my back?" she asked the girl already knowing what she might say. Not from using her powers to read Lorelai's mind, but just from seeing how the girl carried herself in battle and in this run for her life. It was a question which held more weight than Frostbite would know. Emma had an idea what she'd say, but she looked at the girl again and saw how close to the end she was.

Frostbite tried to hide a wince as she heard from Ember that they had to move faster because of some nearby demons that now were focused on them, and tried to push herself further. The incline of the hill made it all the more harder to run, and though her legs killed she worked to keep going since she knew she had no other choice. She couldn't help looking at the ground as she ran, only looking up high enough to see when she had a rock to go around. Seeing Miss Frost reach the top and start to head down, she grimaced, seeing that she had yet to make it as she was the slowest of them all.
She heard her headmistress call out to her asking how she was, and her first instinct was to not let on how tired and aching she was, and so she knew what was probably going to come out of her mouth. "I'm-I'm okay," she lied, while her mind screamed in complaint and then in chastisement for being weak and holding the others back. At hearing the offer to get on Miss Frost's back, she was torn. One part of her wanted the opportunity to stop running so badly while the other part of her refused to give up or seem weak regardless of the conditions she had been dealing with since she and the others got dragged into Limbo. But she's already carrying Hardlight, what if she can't handle me too? Then I'd cause her trouble and I've done enough of that already, but I'm about to drop - whether I'm dropping dead or dropping because I just can't move anymore I don't know, but it's getting harder to take, she debated with herself as she tried to keep breathing somewhat okay, and heaved out an answer she felt was somewhere in the middle, "But what - if you - can't - handle - carrying me?"

If Aideen had not been carefully trained in a wide range of fighting styles ranging from ninjitsu to the oldest and most rare forms of fighting, both modern and ancient weaponry, and battle tactics, she might not have survived for this long against all these demons even with her powers. Even worse, had she not been so disciplined in fighting in a warrior's mind and spirit, she would have allowed the unlimited amount of power to consume her and take her to an uncontrollable state. Because that wasn't the case, Aideen was able to stay in battle in a state of a perfect warrior: emotions blocked, senses heightened, and her mind was set on keeping the demons away from her Headmistress at all costs.
Up in the air with her body outlined in blazing hot fire and the tips of her hair flickered slightly like a bunch of small flames. With her fire lit eyes burning brightly, Aideen looked as much of a demon as those she fought. Well, minus the scaly skin and looking like an animal. Unlike the other demons, her primitive nature had been channeled into her warrior stance. Left and right, fireballs, fire beams, and fire weapons flew down at the demons that kept getting closer at the group. Aideen did manage to slow them down a good deal. Demon Leapers leaped up at her, almost reaching her before a fire weapon went through them right down the middle, splitting them in half and blood and guts raining down on the demons below. Two twin swords formed in her hands as Aideen flew down in a fluid, smooth, rapid style, slashing a full row of demons in the front that effectively slowed down the others. Climbing over a row of bodies makes things a bit difficult.
Flying back up Aideen moved back in the air as the now smaller group of demons charged forward for the small group. Fireballs and beams rained down at them, incinerating some on the spot. Fried demons anyone?

Kevin did as he was told and held on. When Frostbite said she wasn't sure if Emma could hold them both he almost coulda laughed, and he woulda have if he didn't feel so much like he was half dead. Kevin knew she was holding him easily enough though and he said "She's really strong now Loralie. Please don't kill yourself running, you saved me and you need to stay alive." He reached out an arm and held his hand to her saying "You are my best friend don't die now, please." Tears were welling up in his eyes.
After facing his own death he cherushed life and he was very emotional.

"Well what is it then Frostbite? 'Cause we have got to go." Emma asked the girl as they made their way down the slope. She paused looking back up at her trying to gauge how long it would be before the demons caught up to them.
She looked down again into the valley below as she caught sight of some movement. Then a small voice could be heard crying out. "We're getting close! Look I think that's them!" Emma pointed down at the movement.

When she heard Hardlight speak to her, Frostbite lifted her head to look at him and saw tears well up in his eyes as he held out a hand to her. She didn't take it though, but she was touched that he still cared and liked her, even to be concerned. She didn't want to accidentally grab his hand and cause him to fall or something like that. I didn't know that I was his best friend, but why would I be? I was the reason for his almost-demise. I'll help him when I can, but I don't want to go near in case I cause him more trouble. He's still weak, she thought as she gave him a tired look.
Though torn, Frostbite was stubbornly decided after being made to make a choice. We're going down a hill. I THINK I can manage it. And I don't want to burden Miss Frost, regardless of what Hardlight said, she debated inwardly again. "Go!" she told the headmistress as she felt the incline become a decline, making her running a bit easier, and she moved a little faster due to gravity. When Miss Frost pointed out that she thought they found the others, Frostbite looked ahead to see what looked like a hell hound coming at them as they made their way down.
A shout of warning was heard, and then an unmistakable blast of red light came right at the hell hound, and with wide eyes did the icebender see that it was dead after it flew through the air. Squinting, she looked ahead and saw...."Cyclops!" she yelled to Miss Frost as loud as she could, since she knew if she tried speaking normally her voice would come out in whispers. Wait! Cyclops! So if he's there, he must have students with him too - I know I saw other lumps that were people there with him! Maybe Ian's there! God, I miss him right about now. Maybe even Heather's there! At least some more of us are there, we're not totally alone, she thought hopefully yet erratically as she let gravity continue to help get her down the hill. Good thing they found the others then, she was sure if they stopped before hand she probably wouldn't be able to get up no matter how hard she'd try.

Aideen took a moment to gather herself to increase her strength and allowed her body to absorb more heat. The fire around her blazed white as she basked in the power. Not quite Human Torch style, but it works better for me I think. Her body was outlined in blazing hot white orange fire, but her body was still visible against it. Her tanned skin and black sports bra and pants stood out against the fire. Aideen’s fire lit eyes burned brightly as she surveyed the demons along the line. Her arms spread out and two long fire swords appeared in her arms, solid and heavy as if they were real. There was an large number of demons and now that they were over the hill, it was harder for her to slow them down. With a quick moment of taking her hands in the warrior pose as her training dictated, before she swooped down and began to fight the demons in direct combat.
Aideen brought her swords together and swung around, cutting off some demons heads as all the leapers went after her. A hiss of pain rose in her throat as one of them dug their claws into her stomach, puncturing the skin and making it bleed slightly. A bright burst of red light distracted Aideen just for a moment, but that moment cost her. One of the demons leaped right at her throat and slash her chest slightly, another hiss in pain rising in her throat. With one great warrior cry, a great powerful flame erupted from her body, lighting up the area and incinerated all the demons on her and near her.
Ignoring her wounds, Aideen flew back into the air and began throwing fire beams at any demons getting too close to her group. I fear I will not be able to do this alone, but I must try with my life. I cannot fail my Headmistress.

Kevin heard Frostbite screaming out for Cyclops. 'What is it does she miss him or something?' he wondered and then he realized what she meant. She was saying they must be getting close so he looked where they were going, even though it was hard to pull his eyes away from the gang of demons thats was coming down behind them. He nearly forgotten that they were suposdta be going to recuse him and then try and get home.
He looked ahead and saw the biggest brightest blast ever shhot into the sky. "Oh yea! That's him I guess." Kevin said as they all saw it, who could miss it it was incredible, but there was something wrong! Cyclops looked like he was being attacked by a big dog and there was a flame of blue surrounding another thing down there. "What's going on there? It doesn't look good at all!" Hardlight said
They all had to get there much quicker. He knew Miss Frots was holding back and it was because of Frotsbite. 'I have to help out.' he thought and then it came to him, just like a hampster wheel only made out of my lightsculpt he thought. He focusesd and made a big cylunder for Frosbitte to use. If she coated the inside with some ice and also the bottom of her feet it should be super fast rolling down the hill. He made sure it was thick so that even if it chipped it wouldn't break all apart, like his egg.
It took him only a minute to make it form and he yeled out "Climb in and ice it up! You'll slide crazy fast!" He shaped it so that it was right there next to them and the openingwas right between Miss Frost and Loralie. "Plus it should keep you cool too!" Well, he thought it would once she got it icy inside it.

"I see him!" Emma called out as she rushed down the slope with Hardlight in her arms. 'So, she decided to do it on her own. Maybe there's a place for her in my team after all' Emma thought looking over at Frostbite just as a huge blast erupted from below. The color was unmistakably Scott, and she whipped her head back to see him struggling with some hound of hell.
"We gotta move it!" she cried out as she was about to yell out for Frostbite to catch up little Kevin came up with a clever idea all on his own. A light sculpt for his Acolyte team-mate to ride down inside of. It would save her running, that much was certain, but it didn't look all that safe in the least.
If nothing else it was sure to let those below see that they were not alone. A signal to respond to Scott's signal. 'I better make sure to get down there before that thing does or else it might steam roll over them' she thought and started to bound down the hillside in leaping strides, leaving Lorelai to decide again on her next course of action. "Ember! Keep a watch over Frostbite! I'm going ahead!" she cried out to the firebender above, the Diamond Queen knew she could trust her with the order and was thankful for that.

Frostbite's eyes widened as she looked ahead to see an even bigger blast of red light shoot into the sky, accompanied by a yell. She saw Cyclops was struggling with another hellhound, but looked to Hardlight when he called out to her while he formed a shell-like wheel thing out of light somewhat similar to what he made before. The thought of being in there and being cold was the happiest thought she had at that moment, and she knew while in it, and icing it up she'd get down there quicker than the way she was now, and she'd feel the heavenly cold trapped in until she was let out. I can let myself do it, I can make it cold, it'll be nice even for a minute, but I might have limited air. And my legs probably won't work much at all after this, but it's a risk I'll take. I won't hold the others this way, because I know Miss Frost is slowing up for me. I trust someone'll catch me too...because going downhill will be fast paced, she contemplated, and then used the last of the strength in her legs to jump in the wheel of light.
It was bright in there, and she was now oblivious as to what was going on outside because the light was thick enough. She could already feel herself rolling down the hill, and she used her arms to brace herself against the walls while she let the surface inside become cold. It was insulated enough to keep it in, and by the gods did it feel amazing. Soon enough, a sheen of ice covered the inside, and though she tried to stay as standing up as it rolled, Frostbite was falling forward as she tried to get one hand on a foot so she could put a makeshift blade to skate on, and then went to get the other foot and give that one a blade.
Somehow, she had no idea, she regained her footing and worked to stand with her knees slightly bent like she knew she should while skating. Trying to stay upright by keeping her hands on the sides as it spun, she closed her eyes for a second and then opened them because otherwise she'd feel more scared along with the rush. All the while she was trying not to scream from going so fast while skating inside, but she couldn't help it, and tried to give warning to whoever she might roll onto when she got to the bottom of the hill. "INCOMING!!!" she screeched, not holding back the rest of the scream she let loose while she zoomed down the hill.

The red blast in the sky captured the demons attention instantly, much like it did for the other group of demons when Aideen discovered she could fly and framed herself in fire. Except this time, the distraction was much greater as the red beam of light lit up the sky, making most of the demons stop to stare at this new and fascinating spectacle. Those moments of the demons enraptured attention was all Aideen needed. She had looked back and from her vantage point saw her Headmaster Cyclops getting attacked by demons. She was about to fly to his aide when Emma Frost gave her the order to look out for Frostbite. I must obey... though I wish I could help Cyclops. He's done so much for me, but I was not taught to be insubordinate. Emma would not give me an order unless she thought that it was best. I won't disobey her my own wishes. Aideen's mind was as robotic has her body as she flung her arm around turning her whole body and send hot blazing white fire against the stampede of demons that had stopped to look at the red blast. A tall extremely hot white wall of fire surrounded them and separated the group of demons from the others. We're all right for now, most of those things can't deal with fire that hot, but it they could still pull through if they really tried. This gives me enough of a leeway to keep Frostbite from rolling herself to her death.
Aideen brought the fire framing her into her body and shot down after Lorelai who was spinning down the hill out of control. As strong as I may be for a woman, I can't stop that thing. With accurate and sharp shots, she shot away any obstacles that might severely damage the light pipe. Boulders went flying into bits and sharp rocks were turned to ash. "Try and steer it Lorelai," she called as she shot at another boulder and spared a glance at her wall of fire. The demon leapers were screeching in frustration and agony at some of the heat. That won't keep those things for long, but hopefully long enough.
