Lurai lost her mind when she heard the giant blast. Her thoughts went straight to her brother. The person she hadn't really talked to since they had reached the school. "Gotta find Riker" she said as she ran from the institute and onto the path going towards the woods where she thought he might be. It was very like him to fall asleep in the woods. She just couldn't bring herself to go to the sound of the blast. If Riker was there, she might not be able to take it. She hopped over benches and bushes as she gathered speed hoping to run into him at some point. She stopped for a moment to sniff the air, hoping to catch his scent somewhere. As a slight breeze blew she caught the feint stench of him. Turning her body she bolted towards the lake hoping to find him only to see his image running towards her. She let out a deep sigh, thoroughly happy to see him healthy and moving.

Riker hadn't gone back to the kitchen quite yet. He was just enjoying the stars as they shined in the sky, deviating from the path that he had originally took. It was then that he heard the loud explosion. His mind racing he thought of the two most important people in his life. His sister and Shimmer. He began to run back towards the house only to see his sister running towards him. "Lurai" he yelled speeding up to run at her and give her a tight hug. He held her like he never wanted to let her go. "I thought you were in that explosion. It really scared me" he said pulling away to hold her at arms length, inspecting every inch of her to make sure she was alive and unharmed. "Where have you been?" he said in a brotherly tone giving her a look, the one a father gives when his daughter has come home late with no explanation. Whether Miss Frost wanted him to or not he'd always be the protective big brother to his twin sister.
