Kris took time getting to the school, and although it seemed like his home was so far away, he at least knew that here he could start again, away from everyone back in England with their, homophobi lifestyles and their, victorian mind sets. Who was he to change the belief of his family, knowing full well that to them, having a son who thought of woman as nothing more than people to whom he could form close friendships. While he saw those of his own gender as things to be gazed at, adored, and worshiped. Openly Kris had accepted his sexuality, but behind his happy and content exterior was a life that he wished he had kept secret, close up. Locked away forever so that nothing would have happened like his life in school.
Yet here he was, in a school for 'Mutants'. How strange and excitable he felt now. He was special, he was different to everyone else in a way that he could take pride in at last. He had always known that plantlife and trees were an attraction to him, having grown up with a very large and ever growing woodland plot in the estate that he had lived in. But never in his whole life would have have ever thought that, within that love of nature and the beauty of it, was a power that drew him to it, empowered him. Here was much the same as that small plot of tree filled land he grew up in. Although here he knew everyone spoke in a very strange way. Kris wasn't fond of American accents, or their slang. He was much more partial to his own English languge and register. Still, as he walked aimlessly through the woodland area, feeling across the trees as he went by them, he felt a smile creep across his face, he was happy here.

The auburn locks blew into the young girl's face as she walked gracefully towards..anywhere, anywhere where she could relax and notice the beauty of things, like plants and nature. Smiling slightly Ivy closed her eyes to feel the gorgeous wind kiss her face and hands as she twirled once in her own world. Since Ivy had been informed of her power, a pang of disspointment had hit the young teenager. What an evil power..just evil..cruel.. Every day that had been buzzing in her head as she developed her knowledge on the power.
Arriving at the..Beyong The hedge, as she had heard other Mutant Students call it, Mutant.. what a weird and frequently used word these days. That one word, had barged into Ivy's life so quick yet having a permenant effect, permenant.. Letting out a huge sigh Ivy better known as Nightshade now, apparently walked further somewhere to see a boy, probably her age or even older. The young red-head wasn't sure.
Taking it in to her own accord, Ivy slowed her pace down deciding if she should introduce herself or not? The young teenager had gotten a lot of mood swings since that night..Shaking her head, Ivy felt her eyes stinging as the salty liquid battled to crawl down her pale cheeks, but she wouldn't let it, she wouldn't go through those sleepless nights, she would get over this. I am danger with my lips and I will walk away from anyone dare to touch them..I am danger.. Ivy repeated that in her head, as she softly whispered to the boy, who she had neared, "Hello..."

Anastasia fell backwards, from her cross legged position in the field to one on her back. Exhaustion. She'd failed, yet again in her task to gain more energy in powers and it made her feel so faint. She'd been here all morning, practicing, fainting every few tries.
She was weak, she knew that, her powers weren't all they could be, she could bring things towards her, yes, but slowly, and shakily, eventually dropping them altogether. Testing herself had been even harder. It took all her energy, that was why she was out here, in the meadow. It was sunny, there was nature and a breeze. She liked the outside, everyone rushed past in their lives, not stopping to see what was really there. Other people saw a dead flower lying next to her, the one she'd been practicing sending away from her, she saw a flower newly plucked, a rich violet colour fading through gold to brown as the life ebbed away, the gentle crinkling of the petals as it folded on itself.
"Hello?" she murmured, her Finnish accent thick as she heard someone, walking quietly through the surroundings. With great effort she pushed herself up, opening her eyes to see the world swimming and lying back down again. A few seconds later, she lifted herself back up a lot more slowly, keeping her eyes closed until she was completely sure she was steady.

Turning slowly toward an oncoming voice, Kris let his deminor falter a little. Someone interupting his thoughts and concentration was never fun, but he wasn't one to bite back with comments or even scowls. Instead, he brought the light smile back to his face and nodded toward the sound, finding its source in the body of a girl. She was quite pretty in her own respects, how luck she must be. "Hey!" He called, his accent clashing against the girls so obviously that it almost made him cringe. "What are you doing out here?" he asked with a small chuckle before turning his head to hear another voice. Female again, but yet another accent floating through the air.
"Hey, we're over here." he called out with a gentle smile. He knew he could be alot more comfortable around girls, as he knew he would never feel anything more with then other than friendship, and he could be as free to talk as he liked without having to hide behind a machoistic image like many straight men had to do. It must be so frustrating at times for them. Beside that, Kris looked back at the red haired girl, who was strangely tall and slightly more-so than himself. "I'm Kris." he said warmly, sounding more and more English by the second with his gesturing for her to shake his hand in greeting.

Letting a small giggle, Ivy let a small smile occupy her lips as she noticed the boy's exclaimed greeting, "Heya..."she repeated as she felt a more warmer and lighter atmostphere, feeling as if she could be floating! Oh how she would have loved to be a floater, but of course she wasn't. Just the single thought made the young red-head loose the smile that occupied her lips, looking kind of down at the boy who had heard another girl behgind them, she tried to smile as she gave a quizzical look from his thick..accent.
Turning on her heel slightly she greeted the other girl, who hadn't made any appearence yet but could be heard through the beautiful earth green smooth leaves. "Heya.." Ivy murmured as she turned to Kris, who had just introduced himself and failed to smile again, "Ivy.."shaking his hand, she felt cheerful, Must be because he isn't admiring me..or something..she muttered into her head as she thought of the theory why he wasn't. Taken..probably but he would have still been watching...er..Gay..? Probably.. Smiling at the thought, as she remembered her close friends with the preferble liking of men, she always got on with them well and had great fun always.
"Oh, I'm just hanging around..looking at this place..seems beautiful doesn't it?" Ivy replied to his previous question as she closed her eyes smiling just to feel the gorgeous wind again.

Her eyes flickered open, taking a moment to get used to her surroundings. It wasn't often Ana fainted, and perhaps she'd taken her practice a little too far this time. But that didn't matter. She would master it eventually.
Gazing around Ana took in the glorious sight of a winter's sunset, she could see snow on the peaks of the near hills, and the blood red skyline, streaked with flames of orange and undertones of purple. The moon was hanging in the wings of the sky she imagined to be a stage, almost hidden in the deep colours, a barely noticable silvery orb. Then she saw the people. A tall, thin boy and a beautiful auburn haired girl. And apparently they had called over to her.
Slowly, she righted herself, brushing some stray pieces of grass from her dark jeans, and picking up the delicate flower, with her hands, she was still so weak... something she would change. She would change it if she died trying.
Ana walked over to the other two slowly, a small smile playing upon her lips as her straight, black hair rippled behind her as she walked. As she drew closer to them she realised she overshadowed them by at good few inches, and all of a sudden she was self conscious. The girl was beautiful, a perfect figure and a glowing smile and the boy was so perfect it wasn't possible. Next to them she was just strange, an alien to this world. Probably the only one who was pleased that the sun was setting, and glad of the icy temperatures. It reminded her of home.
Ana looked typically Finnish in her features, ghostly pale skin, large blue eyes, dark straight hair and very tall. When she'd been younger she'd been healthy but now she was wasting away- a thin size two leaning towards a size zero at five eleven. Very different from the American vision that seemed to thrive everywhere, making her feel somewhat alienated from the world.
"I am Anastasia, how are you both?" she introduced herself, shaking off her feelings of reverie and self-conciousness, happy to be around people again. If it was anything Ana liked other people, being in an atmosphere where she felt she was wanted was good, and other people were interesting, each with their own stories to tell, all winding in and out in harmony once communicated, always others quick to add things, their experiences, jokes, comments or consolations.
As soon as the words were out of her mouth she realised how thick her accent was, and quiet, so it would be a miracle if they heard anything but a murmur coming from her lips, but she was smiling, after a day of loneliness some interaction was welcome.

Rogue nodded her head when Colossus asked her to search for any kids on the grounds. They all needed to report to the cafeteria immediately for a meeting. The entire Limbo thing needed to be addressed she guessed, or rather that Henry was in charge for the time being. We gotta get them outta there already, she scolded in her head. "Alright Pete, see ya inside," she said as she kicked up into the air.
Her strength was slowly returning and she grew happier as it happened. Finally reaching altitude, Rogue looked around the mansion's perimeter. No one was visible and she decided to fly around the grounds. The students seemed to enjoy the woodland part of the school during the winter for some reason. Putting that aside, Rogue headed towards the threshold of the hedge. Three figures were visible and she flew down to see who they were. The closer she reached the ground, she realized they were students. One of them hers who she recognized from her Paragons file: Kris Binchy under New Arrivals.
She landed in front of them, as to not startle them and put on a warm smile. "Hello darlins," she said. "Ah'm Rogue, a teacher and X-Men member here at the Xavier Institute. There is a meeting being held in the cafeteria and Ah need to escort ya'll over there. What are your names?"

Smiling warmly at the cute red head, Kris nodded. "Yea, it is pretty beautiful out here isn't it. Gotta love nature, make me feel alive." he said as his smile broadened a little. Reaching a hand out he touched the bark of one of the trees and took a deep breath, feeling hs body become more awake than before. He turned around again toward the other voice, the thicker more easters european kind of accented voice. "Hey Anastasia, why don't you come over here, we wont bite. I promise." he said with a chuckle, his face brightening as a grin took over his features. He rarely did ever grin, smile yes, but never alot of grinning. "Come on cutie, don't want you feeling left out." he called out again and beckoned her with his hand.
Just then, he saw this woman kind of fly down to them. 'How, thats pretty cool, i bet that's her power. Aint she lucky.' Kris mused quietly to himself before he heard the woman speak. He nodded slowly and smiled gently at her before moving his hand out to her in greeting ike he had to the cute red head, "Hey there Rogue, I'm Kris." he said kindly, admiring the way in which she too spoke very differently to him. Back in England he rarely heard another accent, and here it seemed like not one person had the same.

"Aww thank you," Anastasia beamed as she wandered over to where Kris was standing and beckoning her, leaning on a tree. She noted the difference as he did so, he seemed more alive with the nature, harnessing it. "So you come out here a lot?" she asked, trying to make conversation before she saw something, someone coming towards them at a rapid speed. Flying!
Anastasia watched as one of the more powerful who inhabited the school, one of the X-Men, a teacher literally flew over to them. Anastasia smiled, more people to talk to, until she mentioned that she had to escort the somewhere. When that was mentioned, her beautiful face crumpled into an expression of worry and panic. "What has happened, something is not right?" she asked, her voice urgent as she thought of one of the others in trouble. She looked back at Kris for a moment, having caught his name as he introduced himself to Rogue, a reassuring smile on her lips. "We should leave now and go back, yes?" she asked Rogue as she turned so she wasn't in the middle of them, and wouldn't have to keep turning to see everyone, her black hair fanning out behind her as she moved.

Ivy turned around to Anastacia who had introduced herself, "Heya, I'm Ivy.." she smiled slightly before her eyes quickly turned to the older woman walking towards them. Slightly smiling she raised an eyebrow at the instruction yet didn't dare to ask why.."Ivy Dwayne miss, codename Nightshade" she muttered before blowing the shinning auburn locks out of her emerald eyes, ready to follow Rogue anywhere needed.

"It's very nice to meet ya Kris," she replied as she shook his hand firmly. Her super strength was returning too, making her feel slightly better inside. The current situation however, was still heavy on her shoulders and her stomach felt knotted. Her family was in Limbo and they needed to be taken out immediately.
Rogue looked over to Anastasia and nodded her head. "Yes darlin' all will be answered once we get back. Hen- Ah mean Dr.McCoy is in th cafeteria waiting for us. So yes let us all begin to head over alright?" As Rogue escorted the three teens back to the school, she smiled to Ivy and said "Hello Nightshade, it is very nice to meet ya." They then reached the school and headed into the cafeteria.
((Sorry it was quick, but good job for your first posts Nightshade and Hemlock. Please continue posting in the "Family Meeting" thread withing the cafeteria.))
