Standing up from the dusty stage where Thor had dropped him Wolverine scanned the crowd looking for anyone of the demons stupid enough to climb up and meet their doom. He saw the children, bodies broken and ravaged as children's bodies always were in war, and his heart broke silently in his chest. He could do nothing for them save keep them from further harm. The healer girl Tracy would do her part as she always did. Of all the kids on Cyclops' team of Corsairs she was the one who he himself deemed most heroic. Maybe not the bravest, certainly not that, but the most heroic. In his book a hero was someone who gave tirelessly of themselves. One who would not stop in their appointed task, not for anything. He had seen her in the many triage situations over the years, even when he would have never wanted her around if it had been his call, healing humans and mutants alike until she literally collapsed from exhaustion. He knew she would do her part. His part was that of protector, he would lay his life on the line for the future of his friends and family. Stoic he was, but not without a heart that was as big as all Canada. He saw his opportunity to do his part in the form of a challenge. It seemed that a stalemate had occurred with the demons, none were climbing up on the stage now, preferring to throw large rocks and other heavy things now instead. Some arrows were flying with little aim so they were hardly of any consequence, but he felt eyes on him. Burning eyes to be more precise. It was an odd sensation that raised the hackles of his neck, and turning he saw the creature who was looking up at him immediately. "Oh yea?" Logan grumbled under his breath. "So, you callin' me out huh?" he rubbed a hand across the scruff of his chin and nodded slightly at the demon. It held itself in high esteem, that much was easy to see. Overconfidence was not a good quality for anyone, demons included and Wolverine would make the foul monster pay for that. "You got it then bub." he muttered and took a running leap at the Weapons Master. "AAARRrrrggggAAAaahhhhHH!!!" he howled as he flew through the air at his target, claws out and a wild look in his eyes.

Heh, so simple. So easy to bait. You are the fool I always knew you to be aren't you M'kul thought. Waiting below the stout adamantium clawed berserker with patience and guile the Weapons Master held fast. At the last moment raising up an arm to perform some sort of incantation, the complexities unknown to any casual viewer if there were complexities at all, and to be sure...there were none.
Wolverine, with great ferocity and might his weight more than 28 stone of dense muscle and metal laced bone, the concussive force of his strike would crush the front of a tank. It was sure to be doom for the demon and to look at it one would have guessed it could have cared less. In fact, it could not have cared any less at all as Wolverine- the most furious combatant on at least seven known worlds, as he did get around....simply bounced away into the crowd of demons. At that M'kul, the Weapons Master of Limbo, climbed atop the stage.

With a warrior mode on full, Aideen fire lit eyes scanned the crowd. She saw the unmistakable Iron Man and Ms. Marvel flying through the air. Looks like we're not alone anymore. The red beam of light caught Aideen's eye and she automatically sprang forward. "No!" she said out loud and thrust her arms forward to fly toward him, just as she heard Wolverine snarl behind her. As she lurched forward, a large demon with a long body leaped from the crowd! Aideen wasn't prepared for that at all and choked a bit as the demon tackled her back onto the stage. Her back hit the stage hard and she felt the rough terrain bit into her soft skin.
"Aaahh No!" she cried softly wanting, no needing to help her Headmaster. Most people wouldn't suspect how much Cyclops actually meant to her. Aideen would lay her life for him in a heartbeat without hesitation. She admired him and honored him in a way that can be described as nothing but pure and genuine. Only one other person in her life ever held such a status with her, and that was her Sergent. She was devastated when he left, but that didn't make him lose that permanent space he earned in her heart, just like Cyclops had. It was that pure admiration and adoration that Aideen had for Cyclops that drove her to act her fiercest yet in battle.
Especially when the demon had the nerve to run its rugged talons down her side in a way that brought a flashback of an incident in the woods only two days ago to Aideen's mind. "Eeerr AHHH!" she yelled her body lit up in a blast of flames. Two sharp sai formed in her hands and she stabbed it's spine, tearing it all the way down with all her strength. The demon shrieked in pain as its body shook those final moments of pain as a sharp spear erupted from Aideen's hands driving right into the demon's neck as she blasted it off of her and into the crowd.
The demon flew right past another that was climbing up on stage. Her firelit eyes caught the sight of Ms. Marvel carrying an unconscious Cyclops to the stage as she floated up in the air again. At least he is safe. Aideen turned to the demon in full warrior stance as her fire framed her body. It looked more threatening then even the minotaurs she fought with, but Aideen would take whatever came at her. There was no sign of Wolverine and she looked at this dangerous looking demon with cold eyes despite the fire in them. Her hands lit up with two bright fireballs as she floated from side to side in a sort of challenge, keeping her eyes on him and ready to move at the smallest sign of attack.

Meanwhile on the West wall....
Ian held Lorelai tight as Thor brought them up looking a bit confused. "A task? What are you talkin- Haven!" he said when he saw the friend that he failed in a red weird bubble thing that Iron Man was holding her in. "Is she gonna be better? Is that why she's caught?" he babbled a bit as he kept his eyes on his friend. Aw Man I really hope we can help her. That shouldn't have happened at all, he thought as he looked at her with sad eyes.
When Thor set them down, Ian kissed Lorelai on the forehead before he set her down on the ground of the wall free of demons. "Just stay here babe, I gotta help Haven. She shouldn't have been like this to begin with," he said before he went over to look at Haven. He placed his hand on the solid bubble and gave her a small smile. "Babe, come on please be okay," he said to her before he looked over at Thor who asked an odd question. "Uh well Thor sir, it's just a general way to say 'guy' but uh you deserve something a bit more respectful and all than that," he said sheepishly.
Ian looked back at Haven and then looked around and then at Thor. "Are you gonna help Haven? Make her better?" he asked hopefully.

Lorelai looked up silently as Thor lifted Ian and her and took them over to a wall where there were no demons, only Iron Man and Haven in a bubble. She looked at Ian, Thor, Iron Man, and Haven, wondering what happened and why Haven was in the bubble. Her thoughts were still frenzied while she tried to think of why, but she couldn't think of anything; at least anything that would make any sense.
She smiled a little when Ian kissed her on the forehead, but didn't quite like that he put her down. She nodded anyway. Curling up into a ball, she hugged her legs to her chest and compacted herself while she sat silently and watched her boyfriend go over to Haven. Lorelai wondered again what was going to happen, and her eyes darted around a little to look at the ground and at her legs. She wondered what was wrong with her; she went into Limbo her normal self, and now wasn't able to think right, and didn't feel like herself. It scared her.
She tried to shake the thoughts off as she let herself look at the rest of the scene from where she sat. Gunshots were heard and she saw a guy spinning around in the air, Wolverine was facing off with a horrid looking demon, and she saw what was like a female version of Captain America. She saw a woman holding a sword that Shadowkat lunged at, and she shook her head as she looked away. Everyone was either down or they were fighting, and she looked back to the Avengers, Ian, and Haven that were in front of her in silence.

Onyx gave Mason a look more than obviously of confusion at the mention of someone called Mary Poppins and 'holding up his own end' but none the less, the message was clear. If he looked out for him, he would be looked out for in turn; he could understand that at least. "No more idioms, zhey confuze me, und mizz frost eez a fox? her mutation is physical, i sought eet vas mental." He said in a low puzzled tone, shaking his blue glow blonde hair and growling as he shot another orb at a nearby demon. It was in a way sort of theraputic. Perhaps Jasper was more morbid thinking than he realised, even still, it would come in handy.
Much the same as Ironclas, the young german raised a hand to the comminicator and listened hard to the english garbling in his ear from all others using the item. It was like he was talking to himself when he said aloud in hurried german. "Herrtier, ich hören Sie auch." *Mister Beast, i hear you also.*[/sup] the words soon lost as he heard the commands and rushed planning from Ironclad. By this time Onyx was already shaping another form from the glowing red energy and smirked darkly at the oncoming barage of demonic creatures to whom Mason was not able to deal with firstly. The sharp blade would not effect him and was increadibly light despite its effect on the creature, swiping clean through them and slicing them in two.
That he liked. Setting himself off at a run much like the ones he would do early in the mornings back in Germany Jasper found himself fueled by the dark clouding thought of what his home was now like, had his Mutter moved? Was she alright? In the almost week that Onyx had attended the school he had heard nothing of her. Not that he could blame the woman he cared dearly for, his one living soul he could still claim held him in humanity: without her he would have nothing anymore. Not even his motorbike in the school garage would provide him with any sort of comfort. Without that one person Onyx was a monster, he believed that as long as she walked this earth he would remain in control, he would kill another human being in rage. He had promised her that.
The feelings which came from that thought soon welled up inside the German giant and he gave a low snarl as his pace quickened, trying hard to keep up with the older student while swiping the blade he had made toward the left over living demons. He was in no way getting things done fast, as the running and his paniced mind made him make false swings and hit the ground, or he would hit the creature only slightly: angering it before he drove it through them again. Whatever it was that was created within the dark matter indeed was like solid within his grasp, he could use it like it where metal, yet it made no mess in slicing through the creatures around be they large or small. It was so strange ...
"Vhere iz she, vhere iz zhe Direktorin" *Headmistress*[/sup] He asked while Mason asked the woman he knew would act as head of school with mister summers. It took him a while to regain his thoughts and scan the area to see a diamond shape form much like the beautiful lady he had met that first day he heard of the school. She didn't look quite like she was in the best of conditions but it was not his place to make a comment like that. Giving a short nod, Onyx picked up his pace again and fell slowly into place behind Ironclad: a slow fading trail of ice blue dragging behind him like that of a slightly smudged chalk picture, the blade he was still wielding dragging behind him so as not to touch either people as they got closer. "Mizz Frost, are jou alright?" The tall teenager offered slowly as he looked at the lady he needed to take command under through charcoal eyes.

Closing his eyes he balled himself up and rocked back and forth. He was crouched down and a pool of ick was forming under him and in his mind it was even worse. He held 'himself' from swinging free between his legs as most of his clothes were riped off him or hung in taters on his body and he didn't want anyone to see that he was strangely arroused.
He didn't like that he was raped but his body did in a way, it must have because he was still kindof hard down there. He cried even worse than before, not harder but more sorrowfuly and pityfully with moany little whimpers because he knew that it wasn't right for him to feel this way about what happened to him. He didn't know really how he felt or even what to feel or what to think, he just knew he was in hell and his ass was bleeding out a puddle of blood and it was mixed with poop and his thingy was sorta hard.

Mato patted his Crane and directed it to the West Wall. "I am on route Iron Man, I will be there in a moment," he said in the communicator, hearing the voices of the others. He looked down at his crane smoothed its feathers as he adjusted the bow under his arm. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but I will no fall back on my promise to American Dream, he thought as he flew down to the West Wall just in time to hear Diesel's question. "I believe that is the task I was given," Mato answered the boy he recognized as Diesel from the files. He patted his crane one more time with gentle reverence to show his gratefulness. "Thank you my friend. Return to me for now," he asked as a golden glow encased him and the crane for a moment as he felt the crane become apart of him once more. When the glow stopped it was just him standing.
Mato opened his eyes to look at Diesel and the blue hair girl he immediately recognized as Frostbite. A serene smile fell on his face when he saw that he was in company of good people. That large dingo with kind eyes says all I need to know about Diesel. The concern he has for his friend would tell me the same. No one will ever find a more loyal and trustworthy man as a friend or a companion. His soul is pure and uncorrupted, surprising for anyone in this day and age, he thought with a smile as he bowed to Thor in respect.
He looked to Frostbite, bowing his head toward her in respect and understanding. A proud girl she is, just like the Llama standing over her. No surprise since one of their more well known traits is withstanding cold. Her immense inner strength is being tested, but the stubborn and willful Llama will always overcome, Mato said in his head as he looked over the Llama standing above the frightened looking girl. She had yet to be broken, and perhaps never will.
Mato then turned to the girl in the bubble and knelt down to look at her calmly. He studied her with kind and gentle dark eyes, his eyes moving to the small porcupine that looked extremely distressed in the bubble with her. Though the girl gives off the appearance of less than human, the human part of her is still alive and wanting to burst out. We are just in time to help her. Porcupines are small but strong. They have one of the greatest inner spirits that exist among animals and are fighters. She has a big heart, even if she's not one to show. Yes there is still hope for her, he said in his head as he stood up and took the sacred rattle with herbs from his belt.
"She has not let her demon side consume her yet. I would not be able to see a part of her spirit if it had. I will do my best to help her," Mato said to Diesel and then touched his communicator. "Iron Man you may release her. Thor, Son of Odin and Diesel are standing by. I can help her," he said into the communicator as he knelt down again with the ritual fresh in his mind. "Be ready to hold her," Mato said in a calm voice.

"I hear you big blue! Lima Charlie." (loud and clear) Gina said into her communicator. "Well Dazzler, time for us to take center stage?" Decibel looked around and saw that strangely the stage wasn't the best spot to do what the two of them could do best. A slightly higher vantage point might be in order. "That stage is not very tactically sound. What do you think? I say we put our backs to a wall or something." The demons were surging and making another push to climb up on top of the stage with the wounded and dying mutants. With Wolverine gone, bounced off into the sea of evil creatures and Diesel on the very top of the wall with Ironman and Thor, the odds were pretty good that they'd be overcome quickly. Looking around rapidly she pulled up her guitar and struck a decently low chord. -~~ BwooOOoooooOONNGGGggg ~~- Using the sound she sent waves of force out from their position and over to the stage to push out from it. The effect wouldn't slow the demons for long and as soon as the note faded they began to rush the two hotties and the stage again. "Well diva, what's your call?" She wondered how long they could hold off all the demons in this hellish dimension, she was no math whiz but by her quick count she knew they were outnumbered a thousand to one.

"What!?! How dare you halt this ceremony!" the woman cried out as American Dream prevented the anointing of the return of the young woman who had never known her fate. D'mnchyld had no idea she was destined to rule this realm, as she had been and would be again and again. An endless loop into the ages to come. Timeless was Belasco, but his DAUGHTER was not. This temporal loop had been his only solution to the problem of losing her to the ravages of time. Strange how a demon lord shows his love, yet in the course of the spinning of the universe into oblivion, who would care about the deaths of some raggedy unwanted mutants. Certainly the world that they had come from would not miss them. In fact it was well known to him that a certain sect of their own kind wanted them gone, and that was his in. The man known as Magneto had a virtual Hard-on for their destruction, and had taken Belasco's bargain without a second thought. His adopted daughter for the everlasting life of Belasco's own and in the trade would fall all of Magneto's most ardent rivals...The X-Men, and their young charges. Grabbing tightly now to the hilt of the Soulsword the grown D'mnchyld stepped back and pulled in and down to use the momentum of Shadowkat against her. She didn't want to hurt her old teacher, the woman had been so wonderful to her and wanted nothing but good things for her student. Kitty was k'8s favorite teacher and it made this all the harder for her, so she would not let any harm come to her, not at least by her own hand. In this way she sidestepped the conflicted emotions she felt about the situation as she sidestepped the New Mutant Team Leader's attack. She was no slouch in hand to hand combat, having been trained by the best Weapons Master of all time, M'kul, who had been train by a warrior who had beaten the best warrior in the X-Men's ranks. Watching as Shadowkat's own strength was used against her and with a little assist from her own magik D'mnWmn sent her flying off to the side and spun away in a light dancy fashion with a smile on her face. Grabbing her younger self around the upper arm she dragged D'mnchyld off away from the group to kneel down and begin to speak softly to her. Keeping an ever watchful eye on the rest of the mutants on stage, she would prevent them coming to stop the passing on of power, the return to the beginning, the ever renewing of her own future through her past. This was a most serious thing and now she knew how life and magiks worked, having had the tutelage of her own Demon Lord Father's personal instruction, she would not allow emotions to play too big a role in the defending of her own eternal life.

Allison adjusted her communicator a bit and grinned at Beast's voice. "Here ya loud and clear Hank," she said and then turned to give Gina a wicked grin. "Okay Rockstar, let's give these guys a concert they'll never forget. An' for that we need to be in my favorite place: center stage and in the spotlight! Follow me," she said with a wink and quickly spotted the stairs that led to the top of the wall. The wall was much taller than the stage and they needed to be at least level with it to get this party started.
Dazzler climbed the stairs with Decibel until they got to a level were they were about the same height as the stage. She gave Decibel a dazzling grin and a wink. "Let's get this party started. Get your shades on Rockstar, cause we're about to light up their night." With that, Dazzler began concentrating, absorbing all the sound around her. Soon, the crowd grew extremely quiet, and no one knew why. The noise on the stage stopped, and it seemed all the demons were confused and looking at each other as the area became deathly silent.
Allison looked back and gave Gina a wink. "Hit it Rockstar."

*Alright D'mn-* She stopped trying to say anything, since she realized that her mouth was moving and she was speaking, but no sound was coming out. The woman she had come through time to stop from killing all of her friends and family members and most importantly her love Mato was about to bestow the power on herself and begin the whole cataclysmic tragedy all over again.
The world destroyed by the breaking down of the thin veil between dimensions. A hundred thousand demons loosed onto the reality of the Earth dimension was not a pretty sight. She was the last Avenger, she would not let it end as it had before, she would do whatever it took to prevent it. Even if it meant killing the girl before the life essence of her elder demon self entered her. It had to happen that way because with each passing on...with each loop in time...the woman who she would become grew exponentially more powerful. 'It must end NOW!' she thought and rushed the two D'mnqueens as they were having their private conference.
Firing off the stun disks from her wrist launchers and letting her shield fly true to it's mark she kept right on running. 'Gotta overwhelm her with all I've got- get close to one of them. I've never killed before, but I will now. To save the world, to save my love, I will.'

Carol stood protectively around HeartString, the wounded, and unconscious, keeping an eye on them while also scoping out what else was going on. Iron Man and Thor were up on the wall, with the demon girl, and the couple Thor had picked up. Ironclad and the boy Onyx were working their way in the crowd and holding their own. "Hey Tone, need me to do anything? Or are we all set for now?" she said into her communicator, glancing again over towards Iron Man. She looked around a second more before hearing Hardlight still crying. Turning to him, her face went grim slightly as she stepped towards him and came down onto a knee, though avoiding his building little puddle of bodily fluids.
She had nothing to cover him up with to give some form of discretion to his bare bottom half and felt bad about that. So for now, all she could really do - since she was no healer and couldn't make clothing materialize from thin air - was gently wrap her arms around his shoulders. She pulled him a little closer to her, but not enough to make him fall over and rubbed his shoulders comfortingly. "Aw, Hardlight, you'll be alright. It's okay," she murmured in a soothing voice. He would be alright...it just might take a while before he was. Carol had some experience with this kind of thing.
As Hardlight had been stripped of his hopes for a romantic and intimate first time, Carol had been stripped of who she had once been. Everything that was her, her memories and experience, her personality, her powers, had been taken away from her. Rogue had left her an empty shell when she went after her, and even when Professor Xavier pulled her memories and personality from her subconscious, she hadn't been able to connect to them. It took her a while for her to recover from both that and dealing with no powers, but she had come back from it in the end. And if she could, so could this young boy.
"You'll come out of this, and you'll be stronger from it. You'll be alright, trust me. I have faith in you, little man," she whispered to him, a hand lightly ruffling his hair. "It'll be ok--" she whispered, though the sound was cut off as all others were. She watched what was going on around him silently, but didn't let go of him. He looked like he really needed the support, and for now until she was forced to do something else, she'd give it to him.

"Carol, keep those demons off the stage, I'll join you in a second," Iron Man said as he took the girl out of the stasis bubble in perfect sync for Thor and Diesel to hold the demon girl down. He was sure Thor was more than capable of keeping the girl down, but perhaps a familiar face will help her.
"Sound level fading," Homer said in his helmet. "Daz is doing her thing, get your shades on everyo-" he managed to say in the communicator. Tony activated his blinding shield that he installed after the first time he fought alongside the Dazzler. He flew towards the center of the crowd and faced the stage, his back to the Rock Duo.

As Ironman released the bubble from around her, her own forcefield kicked up around her again almost instantly. However since Thor was humongously strong and Diesel was not someone to be considered weak they two held on atop the shield of mutant power and prevented her from wiggling free. Struggle she did, but to no avail as all of her attempts to break loose were thwarted. When TrueSpirit began his ritual, Haven's mind fell into a darker place. The demons within her, her own personal inadequacies and her past evil deeds manifested in a frightening dream. An intermix of reality and fantasy the blurring together a defense of her new darker more twisted nature. She would not give in to either side fully and her mind stretched to the breaking point, like a rubber band about to snap.
