Ian looked at the guy that arrived on a massive bird in awe. Whoa.... he's like a some kind of an Indian Chief outta' a Western Film, he thought with wide eyes as he watched the guy study him, Lorelai and Haven in turn. He glanced at Lorelai and then back at the Indian guy with wide eyes. "Wow thanks Sir," he said gratefully. He truly wanted Haven back, she was his friend and a special one at that.
The second Iron Man let go of the bubble, Ian grabbed her arms and held them down as gently as he could, though it was difficult with her thrashing. "Come on Haven, be ok. Spitfire's lost, you can't be too. Come on Haven babe," he said down to the tormented girl he held down. "Come back to us girl, come back to me. Come back to Ember. We can't lose you. Come on babe, you did so much for her already, you kept her from totally being lost to us," he said as he leaned down a bit to talk to her ear. This time though, no sound came out as the place became deathly silent. Ian was a bit confused that he couldn't talk anymore.
He looked at Lorelai for a second before concentrating on Haven. His eyes searched her face as the inside of him actually prayed to whatever god there was for his friend to be okay. Ian was tired of losing friends and he refused to give up on her when there was still a chance.

'How did she know where to hit me? How could she see that so easily? I thought it was undetectable, thought all my sins were forgiven. Uhhhggg.' Emma thought as her head started to crack and fissures began to scrawl through her entire body. The sound was incredible, it was inside her head, inside her whole body. The pain was intense and a sort of shearing icy pain. Then suddenly all the sound was gone, from everywhere, and the pain had stopped and it was completely silent. Emma made no move. Her body was holding together but the slightest movement, even the movement of a soundwave pulsing through her might, she feared, destroy her. She didn't want to upset the delicate crystals that were her body. She remembered the last time that she had felt this. Moments later her entire body had shattered. She was, for all intents and purposes, dead. Somehow though, Hank had put her back together. This time would not be so easy, he was not here and Limbo was no place to go all to pieces, if she fell apart here it would be the end for her.

Gone Tracy knew it she could feel it. There was little hope in her power to heal when someone was that close to death's door, but Elixir was already halfway through it. There was no sound, the sound of a person dying had no tone, but the sorrow of those left behind. It was a sad moment for the departing soul of the girl. Were there a way for a departing soul to hear, hers would have been met with the silence that engulfed them all. No sorrow for her passing, no way to know how much she mattered. HeartString gently held the girl to her a moment more trying with all her might to bring her back, there was nothing left in her even though her flesh was for the most part healed, only her eyes remained missing and the slightest of abrasions in the places where gaping wounds had been moments before. Every so gently Tracy lay her body down.
Others Tracy, there's still others to heal. She thought to herself wiping a hand past both cheeks and around under her own chin to clear away the tears. Turning next to Nightcrawler, a man she had once been to frightened of to address face to face, she now rushed to him and sent pulses of healing energy into him. He was not even one tenth as damaged as Elixir had been, but she could feel him as well giving up. This isn't like him at all, something is terribly wrong! This place really does wipe out your soul, it drains your will to go on. she thought sensing how Kurt was feeling much like a man on a losing team or more closely like the father she had met at the bedside of his dying wife and unborn son. The man had to choose which one would live and which would die. Thankfully Tracy had been able to alter that outcome and both mother and child had survived. She would do her best here as well. Watching as Kurt's eyes flickered open she smiled into his face and hugged him. Feeling his spirit rise within him, she knew he would be alright.
Looking around she saw the boy with the power to sculpt light and he was not in good shape. Although his wounds were minor, those wounds that she could heal at least, he was truly damaged inside. She could sense the jumbled confusion of his heart and knew he would be dealing with the scars from this hell for a very long time. He would be alright she was sure, there was something else she could feel under all the shock and bizarre lustful grief even still, there was a feeling of wonderment...almost like a sense of breathless anticipation and joy...the closest thing she might equate it to was Christmas morning, at the moment you see the milk and cookies left for Santa have been eaten and you know he was really there.

Thor looked thoughtful for a moment. "Thou hope that this term 'dude' is not blasphemous," he added before he saw TrueSpirit landed, showing a display of power that even slightly impressed the Son of Odin himself.
"Thou will keep a firm hold on the young demon lady," Thor said as he gripped her legs together in one hand and used his other hand to keep her torso still. When the are suddenly became silent, Thor knew what was coming. He had seen the fair Dazzler's display of power more than once, each time being throughly impressed. He averted his sight to the girl and prepared to shut his eyes for the incoming attack.

Because the woman sidestepped her tackle, Shadowkat landed near the edge of the stage. She scrambled back up quickly, kicking back some demons that were starting to grab at her. She watched as the woman grabbed D’mnchyld and walked off with her, keeping a watch on the rest of them as she did so. She wondered what the woman was going to do with her. It was so weird, they looked so alike, yet they were different. Kitty couldn’t quite put her finger on it.
She was about to move to get Kate away from her, but American Dream was already moving, so she stayed where she was, however looked to Sean. She moved to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, guessing that he would probably want to go after her to make sure she stayed safe or got away from the woman. “Just stay here, for no-”she said, cut off as the sound disappeared. A glance at Dazzler explained the sudden silence, so the phaser just shook her head at her charge to get her point across.

Lorelai’s eyes widened slightly as she saw an older boy come in on a crane, and watched unblinking as they glowed gold and the crane disappeared. Her mouth twitched when he nodded to her and she listened to him speak to the Avengers. So Haven had turned into a demon, and this boy was going to…fix her? She was undecided about her feelings regarding Haven since the girl almost destroyed the school yet saved Aideen, but she never wished anyone to become a demon here.
She watched curiously as Haven was let out, and Ian was quick to grab her…since when were they such great friends? Her head tilted to the side as she still said nothing; her curiosity was slightly overriding her fear yet she didn’t loosen her hold on her legs. Continuing to watch, letting her curiosity better her fear she saw as TrueSpirit would do his ritual. His power was interesting…what was it exactly? Her returning thought process was halted as all the sounds were suddenly gone. There was no talking or screaming or anything, and she looked around once more, not exactly sure of what was going on.
Since the others were focused on Haven, Lorelai took the opportunity to bury her face in between her knees, thus making her more ball-like and closed her eyes. Reveling in the silence she took silent breaths to calm herself and her head. She sat like that while she just tried to get her mind back in place. Okay. I want to get out of here. I want to have my normal train wreck of thought. Calm…silence… she thought quietly, wanting to regain herself.

Standing there with eyes burning from an entirely different kind of fire the Weapons Master of Limbo, M'kul, allowed hatred to seethe within. Desire for power and a hundred lifetimes of waiting for the chance to find favor were close to an end. This time the ancient scroll had spoken of the chance to step out of the role dictated and into a higher place, a place to rule from. This time, yes. The only obstacle to the future foretold was this frail young firegirl. Why the demon didn't strike was a mystery. Perhaps it saw a kindred spirit, perhaps it had some desire for a taste of some human flesh and was distracted from it's chosen course, perhaps a memory twisted a crank in the back of the mind behind the eyes which burned with hate. Perhaps it was simply biding it's time as it had with Wolverine, but for some unknown reason it hesitated and Ember saw it's helmet crank slightly to the side in some quizzical manner. This girl looked like someone special, someone it once knew.

Aideen's fire lit eyes never left the demon. She stopped moving side to side and stared hard at him, watching for any single move of attack just as she had been trained. Hesitation? That is never allowed in any field of training. Why is he looking at me so oddly? The fireballs in her hands became larger as she felt her hair moving with the fire that framed her lithe athletic frame. She would not let her guard down. In a fight or the beginning of a battle, she was taught never to make the first move unless under certain circumstances. This was not one of them as she studied the demon before her in his moment of hesitation. He was extremely tall, and had a look of superiority about him that the other demons lacked. It didn't take someone with the training that she had to see that this was a very dangerous demon.
The whole area suddenly fell silent. So silent that you could almost hear your own thoughts. Aideen didn't dare look around for the cause of all this. She couldn't even hear the crackling of her own fire anymore. Her fire-lit eyes stayed on the demon's face, hidden by his helmet where only blood red glowing eyes were just visible.
She never backed down. She didn't back down from Sabretooth and she wouldn't back down in front of him. Aideen knew very well what many thought of her when they looked at her: another pretty face with a bit of spunk in her. Aideen had more than just spunk, and many times at her old school she would surprise others by her training. When her uncle took her on missions, many times were grown men shocked when they were taken down by a young woman who didn't look like she did anything more than run and work out on a daily basis. Size and strength don't matter as much as knowing the right moves and tactics. This time with this demon it would be the same, but Aideen would not make the first move. She watched the demons blood red glowing eyes steadily and in challenge.

Hardlight felt mS.Marvels's arms around him and heard her try and say some soothing words to him before the sound cut out. He was grateful for all of it, her kindness and the sound being gone. He let it out then and there in great heaving sobs all the confusion and rage and all the pain in his heart. He was alive and that was what was most important, the rest of his life he would know that he had been here and what had happened and that he had survived it, and that he was loved for the man he was and to that he had done his best. He felt strangely proud of himself now and he saw her sash tied around her waist.
He hugged her back for a minute and then broke off from the embrace to pull his ripped remains of his shirt off and wipe himself. It was still bleeding, but it was just slightly now and it was not mixed with anything anymore. He knew that the healer girl would get to him when she could, but the Headmaster still needed her first and Kevin could stand, he could try at least even through the sharp pain in his guts. He reached over to MsMarevls sash and untied it from her to make it an Acolyte Red Diaper of some sort. He smiled at her slightly as his lip quivered still, he wasn't fine he wuold take a long time to be fine, but he was strong inside, being a gay boy in a straight world made a kid strong and he wiped his nose and wiped the snots on his diaper and shrugged. He was still a boy and he never apologised for that.

Mason noticed the fractures all over Emma's diamond body and cursed. "God damnit. Beast we got a problem, Emma's diamond form is cracked and it looks like it's gonna-" Mason was stopped there as the sound disappeared from the area. He looked over at Onyx and pointed to his protective glasses, indicating to put his sunglasses on. Dazzler was famous for her power, and he knew it was anything but weak. Looks like I gotta brace myself, he thought as he looked over to the stage.
He saw HeartString and from the distant it was hard to tell for sure, but she had a look of distress on her face even thought she had revived Nightcrawler. That's my girl, he thought proudly as he watched the beautiful blond beauty at work. Without a doubt, she was one of the strongest people alive, and he was proud to at least be able to call her his friend, though in his mind she was much more than that.
Mason's eyes moved to the other corner of the stage where he saw the fire girl Ember up against a tall demon knight. They looked to be locked in stare down, both looking equally threatening and dangerous. He looked over at Onyx and shook his head firmly to let him know that he wasn't to go up there. Right now with Dazzler's little show they didn't have the time for rash actions.

"Kate NO! Come back!" Sean called as the older Kate grabbed Katie away from him. He didn't want her to go, didn't want to risk her getting hurt. Especially since Elixir just died, and Hardlight looked in bad shape. It was a bit disturbing to look at him really, though he was too focused on Kate. Sean moved to go after her until Shadowkat stopped him with a calming hand on his shoulder.
He stopped and looked over in horror as the Captain America Lady came after them. Sean tried to scream but no sound came out. He didn't want Kate hurt and it looked like she was about to be. He ripped out of Kitty's grip and ran toward Kate.

'Ohhh HeartString. Sveet child vhat is- vhere did you- ' was what Kurt would have said, and actually tried to say before the girl looked to be moving off again. No sound came out and for a moment he was particularly confused. In the midsts of it all he thought he had lost his hearing and this disturbed him, but having just been revived by the Corsair healer he knew it had to be something other, something different. He propped himself up on an elbow and took a moment to take in all his surroundings.
Heartstring was looking to be moving to help the headmaster, while right next to him lay the dead body of Elixir an unconscious Cyclops was not far beyond her. He wondered how he could have helped the girl and felt, in the midsts of all of his confusion, that it was his fault that she was dead. Looking past the immediate grief, he saw Ember and a formidable demon were faced off at the far end of the stage.
Scanning the area of the crowd in that general direction he noticed Ironclad, Onyx and Emma were close by each other in the crowd of demons. Emma was holding her head as if she were injured, But how can that be? She is nigh impervious to pain in her diamond form Kurt wondered. He hoped it would not come to her being shattered as had happened only once before, the odds were probably good that in this hell the Headmistress would not survive were she to be shattered again.
As his eyes rolled on to the right, scanning the stage now he saw Ms. Marvel was not too far away holding Hardlight who was fashioning himself a Sumo style diaper out of her sash and wiping tears from his face. There had to be more to the story than met the eye there. He didn't have much time to discern the reason for the boy's strange attire, but he thought it had to have something to do with the heat.
Kitty had rushed up to grab a young man he didn't recognize. He had pulled away from her grip and was rushing over to the other side of the stage. In that area he saw where a woman looking much like the now deceased Captain America was about to attack D'mnchyld and another woman. It was the woman who had pulled the Soulsword out of him. He was struck by the resemblance of the older, demonic and winged woman to young K'8. She looked as if she could be Katie's mother or possibly her older sister.
He felt a hot wind fanning down from above, and looking up he noticed Ironman hovering over the stage. Looking up and around to the wall of the castle keep he saw Dazzler and Decibel, they were up to something he could tell from their body language. They were putting on some kind of show and then it dawned on him that it must be Allison who was sucking in all the ambient sound to charge up one hell of a light discharge. He readied himself for the burst of light.
Casting his eyes upward to the top of the wall he saw Thor, Diesel, Haven and the top of a tuft of blue hair and he knew that Frostbite was with them. There was something disturbing about the scene, he couldn't place his finger on it exactly and then he figured it out. There was another individual there who seemed to be native American and was looking to be doing something to the young runaway as the others held her down. I must really have some catching up to do he thought as he tried to stand and found he was still quite stiff.

Deciding the girl was not worth the effort, the Demon, a master of blades and all things combat related, looked as if ready to turn away. She could not hurt this entity, there was something the girl didn't have any concept of that was on M'kul's side. Seeing past her to his goal, the Weapons Master of Limbo, in a blindingly fast movement took his boot and planted it deep and yet softly, almost strangely more a push than a kick to the center of Ember's chest with enough force to send her to the far back edge of the stage.
Without missing a beat M'kul took off into a run, charging up behind American Dream, Battle Axe raised with deadly intentions. Destiny is mine to steer. An eternal life in this hell was not my plan... but to rule the world beyond...Yes that I will enjoy M'kul thought as the axe swung slicing through the air aimed to clean the pretty blond head from it's slender sleek matching neck.

With the sound all around them being sucked away into the near black hole of sound that was Dazzler's mutant power, Decibel ramped up her guitar and began a dynamic fingerplay across all the strings and frets. It was strange to her because she was using her ability to near maximum and yet the sound was evaporating before it could pile up. Gina's gift gave her an intrinsic ability to sense sound in it's wave form and she could "see" that before the waves had even begun to flow out they were slurped up and into the Dazzler. This is gonna be EPIC she thought as she finished her solo and quickly whipped on a pair of old school wayfarers, with a cool flick of her wrist.

A smile came upon Allison's face, the sort of smile one get when they sink into that hot soothing bath after a long day. The silence in the area was deafening, and their little tactic was working nicely. All the demons were thoroughly confused about the lack of sound, as were the students and humans, but she hoped they'd catch on. Decibel's solo was the last bit of juice that Allison needed. "Let's Rock!" she said, her own voice ringing out in the deathly silence. Her mutant power only allowed her to absorb any sound but her own voice.
Allison spun in a neat circle and threw her arms out to the side. With that movement, the Dazzler, the Shining Star of all Mutants unleashed the light within her, shining like the star she's always been. The light was so bright that the red landscape lit up in a burst of spectacular color. A brilliant white and gold hit the entire crowd and the stage followed by series of pink and blue lights. It was Dazzler's best show yet, and it was one no one in this disoriented and half blinded crowd would ever forget.
