As it had been mentioned that volleyball was an option, and none had gone to the other court Stephen did, simply to be by himself with himself and he. Alone he stood, and yet not alone staring out, his feet finding pause in the center of the court. A volleyball nearby taunted him and he stared it down, not today you vile orb not today he thought and his eyes alert, scanned they did the other courts.
Envious of none he stood silent and still, thankful that he was not unable to play, yet he played not. For no longer were games enough to lighten him outside or in. Dark inside he ached as it gnawed, and aching and gnawing his insides they groaned with the hunger, his eyes trolled the surroundings as pausing they fell on the lightness of one being in particular. That one again he thought Why him? Why is it always him you chose to look upon? Stephen asked of the darkness.

Stupid Americans. Their idea of ‘football’ was something that left the actual concept of ‘foot’ and ‘ball’ in the dust. The football he knew you didn’t handle the ball with your hands. Simply not allowed, and it took a lot more skill than just driving someone’s face into the ground to get anything done. The footwork and technicality of playing the field right was the reason most players where paid millions of dollars per week. Their training was no where near as intense although they needed very long running sessions simply to stand running up and down a pitch for so long. So, as the other students filed out to their chosen activity, Jasper was forced to take on one of his least favourite activities of all time, simply due to the number of people. It was one of the silent Hellions by the volleyball court that had been his only choice. In his lack of decision making he had missed out on the basketball game starting, the tennis court was filled, he hadn’t brought his swimming trunks. That was all that was left.
“I do not vhant to play, jou do not look like jou vhant to play, no-von vhants to play, but zhe teacher vill keeck our behinds eef vhe do not do someteeng zhat eenvolves pheesical vork. I vill make jou a deel, vhe play viss zhe ball, und play badlee, vhe vont vork as ‘ard und I vont ‘ave to play zhees game.” He said to the silent student, his height probably making the game something of an impossibility anyway and the wings much like a net on their own. He prayed the guy didn’t spike like a mad man. Holes in his wings where not something he had in mind. “Zhen, vhen zhe class ees feeneeshd, vhe never say von, vord of zees to anyvon about playing zhees game … Agreed?” Not someone who really beat around the bush and who really hated hand ball games, this was something of a nightmare come true. He would not be beaten though, he would get through the end of this class and go work on his bike again. That sounded like a good plan.

Hmmm now here is an interesting creature The SHADE thought peeling his eyes away from the objectified object of his interest to look on the German boy who dwelt also with the ever dark. Stepping over to stand right in front of the boy and look at him he said not one single solitary word. Head turning, slightly cocking to the side, he stood staring at the winged boy.
Little glow from this one, yes. Near death? No... must be far darker than his happily ever after little voice would project. Stephen agreed with The SHADE, in it's mocking assessment of Onyx, who held little glow to him. There was not much edible life force there, none that was not already of the darkness at least, and for The SHADE that meant little to feed upon should the hunger swell.

"What's this!?! Stand around and look at each other class?" Logan said as he walked up to the two dark looking boys as they stood on the volleyball court. Neither one of them with a ball in their hand, or even a look to them they they had touched the volleyball which sat conspicuously in the same location that Wolverine had placed it in right before class had begun.
He remembered it distinctly, after the nap in the cabin he and Aideen had made love again and walked back through the woods. She had gone into the girls dorms and he had gone directly to grab the equipment and set it up before grabbing a quick shower to was the smell of her off of him.
He honestly didn't want to bathe and as he showered he regretted washing the smell of her off of him. Her musky sweet and slightly peppery scent filled his nostrils with delight. Delight at the memories of how he got her scent on him and all the things they had done together.
"You two! DROP and give me FIFTY push-ups!" he said and watched until the reluctantly started to get down in position. Right at that moment the ground shook and Logan knew without a shadow of a doubt who had caused it. "You two -KEEP PUSHIN'!!" he said as he turned and ran back to the makeshift football field. Looking intently he saw the goings on of Kelly and what looked to be jelly beans but his nose told him was peanut M&M's. Just great I turn my back and...well maybe somebody solved our little Hellion problem for us he thought wondering what exactly did happen as he smelled the distinctly metallic scent of blood in the air, the iron in human blood gave it a unique smell that was unmistakable.

'FIFTY? What ever happened to good old Twenty! For a teacher this guy is a real slave driver, no matter how much i respect him, even the cool ones can go too far.' Jasper grumbled to himself as he dropped to the ground and began his push ups. At that moment of the 'up' of his push ups he dropped to the ground as it began shaking and rumbling beneath him. His initial thought being that an earthquake had hit; but when was there ever an earthquake that ended in people screaming about M&M's?!
"Vhat vass zhat? I zee sveets on zee 'eel." He said in suprise, not much phazed him that much, but when the ground was suddenly covered in candied sweets, something like should be uncommon surley? At the order to keep going at his push ups the disgruntled teen started back at them again, starting from the beginning and managing to smirk 'At least this is better than stupid Volleyball, anything is better than that!' He thought with a slight grumble.
