As they walked out into the clearing, Tracy held her hands tightly onto Mason's arm and closed her eyes. She could sense Mato, and Ariel "They've moved off from their previous position..oh god- they're surrounded."
Her eyes snapped open and before she could tell of the predicament their fellow Corsairs were about to find themselves in she realized they too were surrounded. Her eyes beheld what looked like the entire population of the Monkey Men of the Savage Land. All with weapons in hand. Glancing quickly around she realized they had done a terrible wrong to these people. They were walking right through their most precious ceremonial gathering spot.
"Oh nuts, we've walked out into a special place. This feels like we're treading on sacred ground, at least that is the pain I feel in them, like we must be desecrating their ancestors or something. It's a pronounced reverence they hold and a deep anguish- TrueSpirit and Hotwire have CyberNazi's we have MonkeyMen...great."
Moving to the front of the team she let her body display the regret she felt in having unknowingly trespassed on sacred ground. Her interpretive dance lessons and gymnastics floor-work, the many years learning to emote with her body, payed off right then and there as she showed them without words how terribly sorry the group was. She did not move to quickly, and with not too much flash or flourish, but just eloquent enough she hoped, to show the MonkeyMen they were sorry.

Kelly looked around at all then angry MonkeyMen and then back at the pile of jello of a Cyber Nazi that was on the floor. It was a very rare occurrence when Kelly Burns actually came up with a good idea. It was so rare that it was said by many that the Yeti has been photographed more times than him coming up with a good idea. Maybe it was the fact that he had food on the brain and had abandoned the hope to see any of the female teammates in a bikini tonight. Or maybe it was the fact that when Tracy danced, her boobs bounced like a little the cells in Kelly's brain that seem to forge an idea. No matter what it was, Kelly Burns had an idea that might actually be useful. Almost as if on purpose, Kelly was standing in one of the spots of light that broke through the thick trees. The only thing that was missing was angels singing.
"Hey guys... I think, I got an idea," Kelly said slowly and quietly as HeartString did her weird interpretive dance. He looked around the MonkeyMen that were looking at them half angry and confused and found what looked like the biggest tree in the area they were at. In that next second, the tree became a huge pile thing of raw meat. The meat slumped in a huge pile and got the attention of all the MonkeyMen, and not just them either. While all of them were looking at the pile in curiosity, the ground began shaking and through the trees from all different directions came Raptors, big dinosaurs that looked like T-Rexes, and even the fighting T-Rexes that they passed earlier all running to the pile of meat.
The MonkeyMen all began screeching at the new invaders on their sacred ground and had their weapons out and began attacking the dinosaurs. And so Kelly Burns single handedly with the help of Tracy distracting them, started a whole big brawl of the species right in the Savage Land. "Alright! It's like WWF night!" Kelly exclaimed and then looked at the others. "Let's go before they notice. Hey Tracy that dance was great! It's like you didn't even have a bra on. Hey look a hanging vine. Watch me be Tarzan! Aideen you wanna be Jane? Look," Kelly said and grabbed the vine and swung into the trees. "AAAAAaaaaAAAAaaaa- OW!" he cried when the vine slipped from his grip and he fell face first into the ground.

A rare brain cell kicked in, and then it's right back to the Calorie we deal with on a daily basis. Great. Aideen rolled her eyes and ran into the trees with the others, escaping what could have been a very vicious battle. She looked at Tracy and nodded at her. "Nice distraction," she said with a notable tone of approval at the quick thinking on the empath's part. "Are TrueSpirit and Hotwire close?" she asked Tracy before looking over at Mason, her warrior face in place; stoic and ready for action. "Did you by chance get a glimpse of the Checkpoint?" Aideen asked in a quiet voice as they followed HeartString who led them to the others through the thick jungle.
Aideen threaded the terrain carefully, looking out for any traps and pointing them out when she spotted them to the group. She spent a year learning how to spot just about any kind of trap, six months in the jungles of the amazon, three months in the untouched forests in Canada and the other three in the African Grasslands. It was apart of her training as a tracker and scout.
They walked further in the woods, and Aideen's instinct told them that they were not alone anymore. She placed a finger to her lips to signal them to be quiet, looking pointedly at Calorie before glancing at Tracy to see if they were close. She swore she heard a computer like sound, but waited for confirmation from Tracy before making a move. The ground shook a bit from the sound of a large animal moving around not far away from them and a pair of fire sai formed in Aideen's hands, even hotter than usual with the warmth of the Savage Land.

Keeping an arm securely around Ariel's waist, Mato watched suspiciously around them, his instinct telling him that something was very, very wrong. The Cheyenne Tribe prided themselves on their excellent survival instincts and the ameliorated skills to survive in just about any natural settings. It brought out a knowledge and predisposition that was almost innate to anyone who spent a good deal of time in nature. "It appears that they found us," he whispered quietly just as a what seemed a small army of Cyber Nazis came out, completely surrounding them.
Mato looked around and saw all them with guns out and pointed at them. The elephant they rode backed up in fear, eyes wild as it looked at the robotic figured. If Ariel uses anymore of her power, she will be weaker than she is now. I cannot allow her to exert herself further, but how do I come about this...? he thought and looked around at the army, staying very still. An idea slowly built in his mind, though he almost rejected it because of how risky it could be for both Ariel and himself as well as potential endanger the other Corsairs, depending on where they were located. At this rate it looked like they had little choice.
"Trust me, and hold on," Mato whispered and urged the already scared elephant to the Cyber Nazis. With the extreme proximity, the Cyber Nazi shot at them. That was what set the idea that Mato had in motion. The elephant let out a loud blow from it's trunk and began thrashing his head. It was the motions most elephants made before a stampede was about to start. With an animal so large and powerful, a stampede was extremely deadly. Mato studied how the effects of an elephant stampede severely damaged a terrain, able to take out a village with only a couple of elephants. If there were any other elephants nearby to hear this, a massive stampede could occur in the jungle.
"I need both hands, hold on to me if you need to," Mato said loudly as the elephant continued thrashing his head and began charging a the Cyber Nazis, already trampling a few of them. The others were shooting at them and Mato was trying his best to avoid them and trying to gain control of the elephant who was in a full panicking stampede.

"Damn," Ariel muttered when the small army of Cyber Nazis surrounded them and the elephant reacted and started panicking. "Uh, I'll hold on," she said, using the elephant's thrashing head to swing one leg over so she would ride sidesaddle and be able to hold onto Mato better. She would've turned completely around but she didn't want to risk falling off in the process, and as much as the prospect of riding on a stampeding elephant backwards sounded fun, she wanted to still see what was going on should the stampede not take care of all of the Cyber Nazis. She draped an arm around Mato's shoulder and extended the other to shoot out small bolt of electricity that traveled to the nearest Cyber Nazis. A small chain reaction quickly short circuited them right next to the elephant and freaked it out even more.
It let out another loud blow in fear while Ariel wrapped that arm around Mato as well, and looked up when it sounded like there was more loud stomping nearby. A couple of other elephants had arrived and started running with Mato's elephant and chased after the Cyber Nazis as well, who were trying to not get trampled over although some were too slow and crushed. "Can't say this isn't fun," Ariel breathed with a little laugh, leaning into Mato again as she held onto him. "Just hope they'll stop before we can find the others," she said as the Cyber Nazis a safe enough distance away from the elephants tried to shoot at them while running away.
This is nuts man, and I don't like being so useless. Mato's elephant and the others might be hurt before they can trample down the Cyber Nazis, screw this. I trust Mato, she thought as she extended a hand and shot another small bolt ahead and caused another group of the robots up ahead to fall down with fried systems. Like she expected it only made her feel even more crashed, but if it was the price to pay to help and finish the mission then she did it gladly. "I had to help out somehow. I can't not do anything," she said, letting her arm rest across her lap and his thigh. Ariel felt she had to justify her actions since she knew Mato probably didn't want her to exert herself any more than she had when killing the megalodon.

Mason was giving Kelly a good natured noogie for his one in a blue moon brilliant idea when the ground started shaking. "What the hell? Oh shit everybody MOVE!" he yelled at the sight of the elephants running around frightened and blowing their horns in alarm. It was the one thing that Mason hated about the Savage Lands. He'd only been there for real once and it was just like here without the Cyber Nazis. The Jungle was never calm and it was as primitive as it got, a constant survival of the fittest. And the elephant stampede over the Cyber Nazis was a good example.
Diving right to the side to avoid being trampled by a massive frightened elephant, Mason grabbed Tracy to get her out of the way. "Get back everyone now!" he yelled and kept one arm firmly wrapped around Tracy as they both took dove behind a tree. Mason made sure that he cushioned her body from any damage when they fell to the hard ground. His gun was already in his hand and he shot at the Cyber Nazis that we're shoot back at them. "Doll, where are they?" He yelled as he shot a Cyber Nazi right in it's motherboard. He had to shoot at it at least three times before it went through.
"Aw shit," Mason said when an elephant ran right into the tree that they were hiding behind. Not wasting another breath and keeping Tracy tightly in his grasp, he slid out of the way on his back, shooting at the other Cyber Nazis as the two of them slid behind another tree. He knew that Tracy could take care of herself, but it was instinct for him to grab for her at the first sign of danger. The last thing he wanted was for his girl to get hurt when he could have prevented it. "Fox! Burns! Cover the flank and get rid of as many as you can!" He yelled and looked over the tree only to have a shot skim his cheek. Mason had his gun out and began shooting at the offending Cyber Nazi while trying to get a look for his team and keep an eye on the stampeding elephants. "Doll gimme a status report now!" he yelled through all the noise, now with a gun in both hands, but he made sure he felt her at all times.

"A status report!?! We're in a stampede Mason!" her eyes were a bit scared as she said it but then she realized he needed her. She folded away her fear as best she could, she was hardly as adept at disconnecting from her emotions as Ember but she did manage. Closing her eyes she let her senses spread out, and with a keen emotional radar sense she got a fix on their wayward teammates.
"Oh wow - I sense them ...LOOK!" Tracy stood up, her eyes opening slowly as she turned. Pointing into the midsts of the throng of Mammoths, out into the middle of the thirty some beasts there amongst the herd, was a smaller hairless pachyderm and sitting astride it were Hotwire and TrueSpirit. "Right THERE!!!"
"That's not a bad idea Mason, maybe we should get up on one of those things too." She tapped him repeatedly and quicker and harder as she spoke "We should really get up out of here at least." Her eyes were growing wider as a bunch of smaller creatures were bearing down on them. They were strange creatures some recognizable some not so much.
She saw a few Saber Tooth cats and some mega huge looking armadillos, what looked like a thousand rat sized lizards with big heads and lots of teeth, and weird flightless birds- like prehistoric turkeys with claws sticking out of their wings and jagged sharp horns on their beaks. "Mason get us out of here!" She was ready for whatever he was going to do but she really wanted to get some height and get up and away from the flood of nasty things that were coming their way.
"Toss me up!" she said as she took a few steps backward and rushed at him wanting for him to give her a cradle with his hands and toss her skyward. She'd flip around and grab one of the Mammoths. It wasn't beyond her capability, but she hoped Ironclad would be able to see she was right about needing to go, there was little time, and even fewer bullets in his guns to make a stand against so many denizens of the Savage Land.
As she lept through the air to plant a foot in his hands she glanced over him and tried to pick a target to land on, and shouting a direction "Throw me to your 7 O'clock!" hoped he would give her the height she needed. Once on the monster Mammoth she would reach down to give him a hand up, but she would need to land this first.

"AHHHH THEY'RE GONNA EAT ME!" Kelly cried at the stampede, being on his own and doing what he did best: turn everything into food. He made a couple of patches in the ground turn into peanut butter, burying a weird looking bird in a pit of jello, and running and dodging elephants as best as he could. "Oh man, why couldn't I have stayed home this term?" he whined as he saved himself from being turned into a Kelly Burns Pancake by an elephant.
It wasn't until he saw Mato and Ariel on top of one elephant and then Tracy on top of the other one did Kelly brighten up. "Aw man that looks fun! I wanna do it!" Kelly looked around and saw a vine hanging from the tree. "Oh I'm so doing that man. I'm totally the Tarzan of this jungle." He ran over and grabbed the robe, putting his feet on the tree to push off from. He wanted to ride the fuzzy mammoth cause it was cool and furry looking. Kelly waited for the mammoth to be in the right position and then pushed off from the tree, swinging on the vine.
"AAAAAaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAA" he yelled at the top of his lungs and swung right on top of the mammoth and hard. "OOOWWW! Not the Cherries!" he cried and blinked back the tears in his eyes from the hard landing. Kelly swallowed hard and held on to the mammoth's hair as he got his grip. He got over it fast, since his attention span was never very long. "YAHOOO!! HI HO SILVER! Ride Sea Biscuit RIDE!" he yelled as he kicked the mammoth a bit and tried to get it to follow Tracy and Mason's one.

Fire sai out, Aideen was getting stalked by giant Saber Tooth Tiger and trying not to get trampled by the stampede of elephants and mammoths, and on top of that she managed to burn and slice several of the Cyber Nazis. She rolled under a mammoth and on the other side, just avoiding a pounce by the massive tiger. I need to stop using my black raspberry vanilla stuff. It only gets me in trouble. She sliced through the last Cyber Nazi that she could see, her burning fire sai slicing and melting the metal at an intense level. Deflecting bullets with her fire sai and dodging them weren't a problem anymore, and she was so close to being home free. Then the Saber Tooth tiger pounced her from behind, snarling and sniffing her as if she was a next meal.
Aideen lit her whole body in an intense coat of fire, making the massive tiger get off of her faster than she would have thought. She jumped to her feet and made a dagger of fire and threw it right into the Saber Tooth Tiger's paw, embedding the fire knife through it's paw and in the ground. The smell of burning fur filled the air and Aideen knew she had little time to get away.
It was Kelly's scream that tipped her off on everyone riding an elephant. She did a high jump in the air, right over a bunch of those ankle biting lizards that tried to grab a bite of her ankle earlier and a giant armadillo to the top of a low branch. From the crowd of mammoths and elephants, she picked out her teammates easily in their Corsair blue uniforms. Aideen looked over at the closest elephant and grabbed the branch above her, flipping herself through the air and landing gracefully on one's back. She loved riding elephants, remembering the time she spent in Saudi Arabia fondly. They were such gentle creatures that were able to become a destructive force with just the slightest provocation, much the same way fire was in Aideen's mind. She settled itself on the base of it's neck easily and moved her hand to put pressure on the 'turn spots' just as she learned.
She steered the elephant over close to Mato and Ariel, getting her slightly larger elephant to corral itself with theirs. "We need to get out of here. Mato follow Mason and Tracy," Aideen ordered them and moved her elephant back with a light tap of her heels on a pressure point. The elephant was scared and didn't want to listen, but she kept a firm hold on the neck's pressure points and got it to go on the other side of the elephants as the stampede continued. Now all she could do was hang on for the ride.

Mato almost breathed out a sigh of relief when he picked out Mason and Kelly's voice through the stampede that started. Massive Mammoths and more elephants came in with a plethora of other animals. The mammoths and elephants were knocking over trees left and right, stampeding right over the Cyber Nazis. That didn't stop the remaining ones from shooting at them. At one point, Mato jerked Ariel's head back to block a laser beam shot from hitting her square in the head. The shot hit him right in the shoulder, piercing and burning through his skin. "Aaarrggghh!" he cried, his eyes shut in pain and his teeth gritting. He dropped his head down on Ariel's shoulder and opening his eyes when he could see through the blinding pain.
Bearing through the pain, Mato kept his sense of calm and gained back control of his elephant. He nodded at Aideen and then steered the elephant through this circus of a stampede. With the exception of Aideen, he knew that probably no one else other than him had any clue how to properly ride an elephant. Mato urged his own through the crowd to corral Kelly and Tracy's mammoths. "The volcano is East from here. Head East!" he yelled to them and made his elephant urge theirs into the right direction that was the opposite of where the stampede was headed.
The wound in his shoulder was bleeding a good deal and making Mato slightly light headed from the pain, but not enough to be worried. He used his good hand and waved Aideen to the other direction and continued corralling the two mammoths there with little difficulty since they were frightened as is and willing to get away from the crowd. Mato gritted his teeth and continued toward their designated direction.

Still holding onto Mato, Ariel felt her head jerked back and then heard Mato yell in pain. Immediately she saw that he had just saved her head from being blown through and saw his shoulder start to bleed a lot. "Ah shit!" she exclaimed, and then pulled off the bandana she had been wearing in her hair and used the hand that was hanging lightly over his shoulders to wrap his wound to try to stop the bleeding. "You okay??" she asked and clutched a hand over it to apply pressure. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the stupid evil Cyber Nazis run and be smashed to pieces by the array of animals charging through the jungle.
She looked back to Mato and tried to press a little harder, using her grip on him to work on stopping the bleeding as soon as possible and looked at his face. "You gotta stay awake I don't know how to drive an elephant," she said, the corner of her mouth unintentionally twitching at the sound of what she had just said, but she was serious nonetheless. She looked ahead of them and saw girl asses jiggling on mamoths ahead to see it was Aideen and Tracy riding. A sly smile started to form on her face as she liked it, only looked away because she liked getting through the stampede just a little bit more.
As the mamoths were running along with the elephant to the place they needed to go she looked ahead and then at Mato to see how he was doing. "You okay?" she asked him again, checking to see how his wound was. "We'll be there soon," she said tiredly although optimistically. I hope...

Mason tossed Tracy right up on the elephant taking his gun right back out and shooting at the Cyber Nazis that shot at his back. He grabbed her hand and jumped up with her help, getting himself behind her on the frightened mammoth. With one arm wrapped around Tracy's waist, his other hand was busy shooting at the damn Cyber Nazis, effectively shielding his girl from their shots. "Shit! Mato's hit and we still got a few of these freakers shooting at us," he said and moved his shoulder to take a shot aimed at Tracy.
Looking back at Mato who was corralling their mammoths to the right direction, Mason frown at how he looked lightheaded and was bleeding hard, even with Ariel keeping the pressure back. "Alright doll, I'm winging this elephant thing. We need to get out of here and now," he said and kicked the mammoth as hard as he could. The mammoth blew it's trunk loudly and began running faster to the woods, trampling over several of the Cyber Nazis that Mason was in the process of shooting.
"FOX! BURNS! Let's go NOW! Burns make as many of them into some kind of a food. Fox watch your back!" he yelled and flinched at the bullet that grazed her arm, tearing through her uniform and leaving a nice gash on her arm. Mason moved his arm and shot right in the circuit box on the Cyber Nazi that shot at her just as they disappeared into the jungle. The mammoths and elephants still rode frightened right into the jungle and didn't look like they'd stop for awhile.

As they made it to the treeline with little effort and quickly, Tracy was hopeful that not too much blood had been lost by either Mato or Aideen. She was concerned for them, especially Mato as she couldn't help but pick up on Ariel's growing worry for their team mate. "Mason, can you get us over to TrueSpirit and Hotwire. I'm sensing that she's getting worried for him, I gotta try and heal him. Get me close enough to jump onto their elephant if you can, or maybe we should stop so I can take care of him and Ember. Did you see? She got hit too." she yelled as he was picking off Cyber baddies left and right.
She saw something then out of the corner of her eye. A glint up along the slope of the volcano. Getting a better look at it she saw it was some small structure and letting her emotion sense stretch out she felt almost a small garrison of Cyber troopers guarding it. "Up there!" she pointed for Mason to get a look. "I think that's where we're going. It's pretty heavily guarded and i can sense their emotions more so those troops must be less robot and more man, Kelly's gonna have some trouble with them, and they look dug in pretty good too. I think we should try and bail off here and regroup for a quick assault, send the stampede ahead as a distraction as I heal our people and then we flank them? Or is that a stupid idea?"
Tracy had been working on being more assertive and since her refusal to heal Brock she had found a renewed strength in her own convictions. "You and Ariel can keep going with the stampede if you want, but I have to take care of Mato and Aideen. Look at them." she said to her Captain, her sweetheart, her Ironclad Knight. She trusted him, as they all did, to do what was best for the team.

"WAAHOOO! I'm the King of the Jungle!!!" Kelly yelled as he rode rather clumsily on the frightened mammoth, getting a tight hold on it's hair as it trampled after Mason and Tracy's mammoth. He turned a branch into cheese and was munching on it while bouncing around on the mammoth quite happily. "Man, this is awesome. It's like I'm in a video game or something, or a live simulation thingy. Mason can we PLEASE go up to the Volcano? I wanna screw with roboty people things that Tracy said are there," he yelled as he finished his last piece of cheese.
At that moment, Kelly must have accidentally leaned on one of the elephant's pressure points or something cause it totally freaked even more and started running hard ahead of the others in fright. Kelly of course wasn't phased or scared at all. He was having too much fun. "AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as he disappeared into the jungle in front of them. "Run Tantor RUN! Show me my jungle kingdom!" Kelly yelled with a big grin on his face, almost like the kind of grin a dog has when his head is sticking out the window of a moving car.
He didn't know where he was going, but he was having too much fun to care. His poor mammoth was frightened and blew its trunk loudly in fright, similar to the way Mato's elephant blew his trunk when the Nazis attacked.

A small cry had escaped her lips when the laser shot grazed her arm. Aideen gritted her teeth and continued steering and controlling the elephant. She could take pain, she was trained to take just about any sort of pain and torture. Getting shot was no big thing compared to the other levels or torture training she had withstood. She rode he elephant next to Mato and Ariel's, her dark eyes studying the wound on Mato's shoulder. It must have hit a vein for it to bleed so much, and that was never good.
Aideen rode the elephant next to Tracy and Mason. "The shot had to have hit a vein, he's bleeding a lot. Don't worry about me," she said and rode the elephant closer to theirs. "Tracy bring your legs up so they don't get squashed and get behind me. Mason you better go after Kelly I think he may have-" she stopped mid sentence at the earth shaking again. "Started another stampede. Get after him we'll find you," Aideen said and reached with her bad arm to help Tracy get behind her as fast as she could. She had good control on her elephant and she doubted that Mason would know how to bring it back or stop the mammoth. Their elephants and mammoths were all getting agitated and already starting to go faster as the stampede was again underway all following the sound of Kelly's poor frightened mammoth.
"Hold on Trace, I'll get us back to them," Aideen shouted as she kept control of the elephant, using different pressure points to move it back. It was difficult with all the stampede shooting ahead of them and her own elephants eagerness to join them. She kept firm pressure where it was needed, bringing them back slowly and trying to keep her seat. When they finally got next to them, Aideen worked to bring her elephant side by side to his while trying to keep it from stampeding. "Get on there quick Trace, I can't keep still for long," she said and waiting for Tracy to use her graceful and well cultivated gymnastics to use.
The danger of more than two people on an elephant was something that Aideen remembered well. "Ariel, jump over and get behind me. It's too risky for three people on an elephant," She yelled and was really struggling with her elephant. "Hurry!" she said and leaned all her weight into the pressure points.
