Lorelai just about jumped when her ass was slapped and sat up straight to see Brock passing by. She glared, but the smirk on her face was playful. Rolling her eyes she shrugged as she shook her head, spinning around in her chair to face in his direction. Giving him a cute little smirk she spoke, “I wish I could but my night was pretty rough. Though I wish it could’ve been a little rougher,” she said, looking right at him and then continued. “Cause you know, I can handle rough.”
She looked him up and down as if it were becoming habit and smirked again. “You look really good, considering how messed up you looked last night, now that was a sight to see. Oh right,” she said, recalling the newest aspect of her new reputation, “How are your ribs?” she asked, leaning forward to rest her elbows on her knees, allowing him to catch a glimpse of the exposed cleavage the camisole she wore showed as she looked at him with another cute smirk. “I am your nurse after all, aren’t I?” she asked, raising an eyebrow slightly in amusement.

The pots continued to *CLank* and *CLonk*in the large duffle bag as Heather hastened towards her science class. She was more than excited, for she believed her and Veronika's project to definitely be unique. They assumed most people would be doing plant and chemical experiments that kids did in elementary school. So why not do a project that also went with what they knew? Making the cosmetics were more than fun for the fashion twins, it was basically refreshing. Not only could they use the make-up they created, but they could even continue making more and sell it throughout the school. Plenty of girls would enjoy their colors and product. Of course merchandising wasn't on their mind, but it was nice to think outside the box.
Carrying the poster board under her arm, Heather sighed in satisfaction once she reached the room. She walked in and smiled to everyone. "Hello Dr. McCoy," she said first as she walked to her spot next to her best friend. She quickly said hello to the rest of the people on her way to her seat and placed the dufflebag on the floor. "I spent three hours finishing up the designs," she said to the red headed Paragon. "If this doesn't give us points then nothing will." Thanks to Heather's drawing talents, she colored in and designed the display board for their project. It was nice to just draw some blush and lipsticks around the boarder and add some abstract lines and shapes to make it look more presentable. She opened the board and it definitely drew attention to it. It popped with color; reds, pinks, yellows, orange, etc. After that she made sure her hair was tied back tightly in her french braid before putting on the lab coat and goggles over her black t-shirt and tight dark blue jeans. Heather loved science class and doing experiments. However when it came to dissecting animals and such, she was one to have a light stomach.
Finally turning her attention to the class, she noticed the new girl speaking to Gavin. More like flirting, she noticed when further analyzing. She looked at the goth girl and bit her lip slightly. For whatever reason, Heather was feeling a slight stab of jealousy in her stomach. Why am I jealous? It's not like I like Gavin that way. He's my best friend. Her thoughts were starting to piss her off. Heather what is wrong with you? she yelled to herself. To not allow her brain to continue thinking, she shook her head and addressed her voice to Gavin. "Hey BirdBrain," she said with a smirk. "Think you can let the new girl adjust to being here before you attack her with your presence?" Targeting him was better since it made him speak to Heather and respond. Heather then looked to Ian and winked. She was starting their daily ritual of bothering one another.

I really don't see why I have to take care of these stupid gliders, I really badly want to ditch this thing, but urgh - i dont like leaving stuff incomplete. I dont think the Acolyte likes me much anyway, she barely speaks - not that i want to complain or anything, thats just perfectly fine with me, it'd be annoying if she were like calorie... Tia's chain of thought moved onto cursing the older Corsair as she entered the class, holding the gliders gently in her hands as her focus moved towards the people around her, her eyes searching for the Older Acolyte who Mr McCoy had teamed her with.
Truth be told, Tia would much rather be working by herself - but she really wasn't one to go looking for trouble around teachers unless there was serious need for it. Haven wasn't all that bad, seeing she didn't speak to Tia much, and she was pretty to the point when it came to things - the way Tia prefered people to be. The younger paragon headed in the Acolyte's direction, sliding the gliders on the desk where the Acolyte sat. Tia attempted a faint smile in the form of greeting, but it probably just looked like a twitch of her lip - Tia still wasn't all that great with facial emotions - and to be fair, she didn't want to be either.
Tia's eyes shifted over towards Frostbite - she was talking to the Rumble dude again. Tia wasn't too happy about Frostbite being friends with him, he was just... really mean. Tia didn't like him at all - but then again, who was she to say anything to Frostbite? Frostbite could be friends with whoever she wanted, that didn't really change anything between her and Tia. Tia caught the blue haired ice queen's eye, shooting her a quick wave, before she looked towards Veronika.
There was a new face in the class - Tia was more than sure that it was a new face - 'cause even though Tia wasn't all that social, she did infact know nearly all the students by face - and this wasn't a face she recognised at all. Tia shifted her eyes away from the girl, her appearence creeped Tia out a bit. Tia's eyes flickered towrads Haven for a quick second, before she moved over to go stand next to Veronika, and the others around her. "Hi," she greeted quietly, as she looked over at Veronika and then Heather.

Ricki smiled over at the younger Acolyte who was trailing besides her, struggling slightly to make sure she didn't drop them. Ricki'd offered to hold the spoons and cups Torri was holding, seeing she could easily wrap her arms around them, but Torri really wanted to carry some stuff herself, hence Ricki'd agreed - she didn't want the younger Acolyte to feel as if she wasn't able enough. Torri was extreemly bright, and sharp truth be told, she just lacked self confidence - Ricki wanted to make sure that things didn't stay like that for too long. Not after what she'd heard last night especially. The memory made her shudder slightly - the image of shimmer quivering besides her in her dorm... "That's it hun, you're doing great." Ricki cheered her on, winking at her younger lab partner, as an encouraging smile braced her lips.
Torri felt comfertable working with certain people, and Ricki knew that pretty well, hence she'd agreed to team up with the younger Acolyte when their assignment had been handed out, and Ricki was actually extreemly proud of Torri seeing she'd come up with the idea herself, and even though Ricki knew that other people's experiments may be slightly more advanced, their project was actually quite interesting. Ricki had her left arm wrapped around their rolled up poster, other pieces of paper work and a couple of clear plastic bottles with different liquids inside them, and her right arm was streched and wrapped around a couple of see through plastic boxes with different food items within them.
Both the Acolytes entered the classroom together, and Ricki's eyes moved around the classroom, her legs carrying her to the closest desk, which was just about past a group of her friends who were chatting away to glory, Ricki didn't quite notice that there was a new person there until she crossed the group, apologising as she passed and slowly let the stuff down on the table. She turned her head to spot Ian, Gavin, Heather, Veronika, Tia and a person she didn't know vaguely conversing.
"Hey Beast," she greeted pushing the things carefully to one side, smiling at the teacher, before seating herself on her desk and leaning forwards slightly, "Hey peoples," she chirped, her natural smile lightening up on her face - she was feeling slightly better about the whole 'basketball court' thing, seeing she'd seen Gavin and Heather be as free and normal as they usually were at Dinner the previous night. "Did I miss the introduction?" she added as she looked over at the new girl, a polite smile lingering on her face. "I'm Ricki," she added.

Entering with her arms holding a variety of spoons within cups and cups within ... more cups. There was a limited amount could be held by Shimmer and adding on her folder which was almost bursting with the research and results Taffy and herself had tallied up over the assigned time it meant her tiny arms where bust about full. "Well .. *huff* you got the big st-uff so I get the wee ones." he said with a slightly strained voice as her eyes kept watch over one particular spoon that was threatening to drop onto the floor. She had given it a stern talk over in her head, making sure she never let it out of her sight. "Besides, you did most of the writing, I have to help somehow!" She added in a small giggle as she finally reached the desk she shared with her fellow team mate.
Since Ricki's arrival at the school it was noticeable how much Torri seemed to calm down within the group, most of which was due o her idolization of the slightly older Acolyte. She was pretty, smart, funny and everybody liked her. From what she was told her mum and dad where both happy and really nice people. In a way she wished for that life, for the time being though having her around was all she could hope for as the smile she wore was nothing but a reflection of her science partners.
She had specifically told Taffy this morning while the two where collecting their things that she was to make sure nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She couldn't let anyone find out she knew about Torri's past. That was a trust she had yet to find before and something she was still a little wary of even now. In a way it was a test run, her own experimental project which she so dearly called 'Can I trust anyone?'. something about Taffy told her she should be quite safe and calm down, but she was still getting used to the idea of being calm at any time.
Once at the desk her team mate had nabbed the tiny shapeshifter set about making the project look right for the presentation. She thought her idea was quite spectacular for coming up with it herself. It was a thought she had been pondering over for quite some time but never had the reason to try out. Laughing quietly to herself she placed the cups out in three rows of four, all colourless plastic to make sure nothing could be seen as wrong. The containers Taffy had brought in; she did the same with, each containing a different colour of what looked to be strangely coloured soup. The bottles too where filled with brightly coloured soft drinks. Most of which the colours seemed too bright for normal.
"Rickeeee, what do you think I should do with the poster? Is there something we can put it on when it's our turn?" She said quietly, blinking up at the other girl with a hint of a smile.

Sky walked in with Chase each carrying an armful of stuff and both giggling like crazy. "Dude, I can't believe we're actually doing this," she said still giggling. "Doc said no fire or anything that goes BOOM and all but I don't think this is gonna fly." The two of them had been extremely secretive about their project, erupting in giggles whenever someone asked them about it. Even now they carried what looked like the most random things in their arms, but some of the stuff was decoys to throw people off.
"Morning Doc! You'll be happy to know we actually did our project!" Sky said with a big smile at her favorite blue doctor. Her playful blue eyes went straight to the new face in the room and they lit up all the more. "Oh sweet an Inked up goth chick. What's up Chickee? I'm diggin' the ink girl Meow," she joked looking at the cat print on her collar bone. Sky nudged Chase with her elbow and winked at him smirking.
She dumped their supplies on their table in the back, reaching over to grab a rubber chicken that almost fell off the desk and began giggling ok. "Alright I got the air pump, you set up the other stuff," she said giggling still. It was like the whole room was alive and everyone was getting ready to set up. She spied a couple of others projects and had to admit that some looked cool. "Dude we're so rocking this. Gavin and Ian's looks kinda cool, I used to love Hot Wheels man, and Katana's looks gross but what do you expect from her. Oh man this will be great!" Sky said with a giggle.

Just imagine perfect little princess gettin' vomit all over her fancy clothes, Katana thought as that image of Allure flashed in her mind. it was a pretty picture but she had to focus. Damn him, why'd he have to go crazy and get himself all beat up last night. Couldn't he wait a night? Now I have to give the whole damn presentation. This was definitely the fly in the ointment to what was otherwise a winning project.
Well, at least a good shot, she thought, as she looked over to see Aideen intently working away at something that was too complicated for Leah to figure out and therefore automatically a leading contender. Most of this class hates science; not like genius girl over there, she thought as she saw Frostbite was half asleep with what looked like a container of cream next to her head.
Of course, just then Haven had to enter carrying a huge art portfolio that suggested some serious competition. Although when it came to Haven, Katana had bigger concerns then science projects. Ok, here comes the big cheese...time to act like a team player. She almost waved but stopped herself. No, you idiot. Don't act like you are trying to suck up to her. That's all fake. Just act cool. Not having the first inkling how to 'act cool', Katana moved away from her table and paced a little down the aisles, milling about in the hopes that she would attract Haven's attention and could then throw out a casual greeting. It didn't happen that way.
Instead, Alex came jogging through the door. He's here! Thank God, she thought. And he's jogging. The freaker's well enough to jog and he wasn't well enough to help with the paper or even show up to breakfast this morning so we could rehearse this presentation. I'll kill him! Thus, when the surprisingly spry New Mutant asked Katana whether she had written the paper she replied wryly, "and who else would have done it? Glad you're feeling good enough to jog...were you miraculously cured 10 minutes ago or just decided rehearsing before our presentation wasn't worth your freaking time?" Giving him a toxic glare she shoved a copy of the presentation script at him and said more gently, "Let's give this everything we got and do it right so we ca..."
Leah did not get a chance to finish her sentence before she was interrupted by Diesel and Gavin's loud entry and in between them the arrival of a slutty looking new girl in a black corset. To her great surprise the project that the boys were carrying did not look like some last minute, badly thrown together piece of crap. It had giant poster boards with lots of data. Shit, she thought. I'm actually gettin' competition from the meat head brigade? This is not my day. Her spirit was not improved when Beast announced the new girl was going to judge the competition nor when shortly after wards the slutty judge started flirting with StormHawk.
Not even the arrival of Hotwire made Katana feel better, and normally that was the highlight of her day as she had a slight crush on the older girl. Something that was still somewhat confusing to Leah and which she was not quite yet ready to admit to herself. Still, her mood lightened considerably when Allure came in and Katana turned back to her rat brain jars, and picked one up to make sure it caught the Paragon's eye. However, when Heather came in right afterwards, Katana sheepishly put the jar down, as the water bender had been very nice to her to last night and it would be mean to try to gross her out.
Sitting down in her chair, Leah waited for Chupacabra's response as her eye followed the last stragglers into the class, noting with awe the gliders Tempest was carrying and finding Shimmer adorable as she struggled to carry a load that was just a little too big over to Taffy. The precious moment, however, was lost when Sky came in yelling and Katana groaned.

Coming into the lab with her arms full, an excited step or two ahead of her partner and boyfriend Tune-Up, K'8 was thrilled to the point of giggles. The chance to have spent time working on a project with Sean and not just hanging out was really great. The two made an amazing team. They didn't fuss or argue at all. In fact it was the most fun she had in a long time. Watching her guy working his mutant ability to the fullest and being his assistant, since she wasn't very technical at all, was the coolest.
She didn't exactly get all the technical aspects of it, but she understood the general idea and once she saw what he did in the construction stages it all made perfect sense. She was actually surprised how simple it was really and thought how Sean's mind worked things out to be simply amazing, like stuff just came to him in a dream or something. However, explaining it was something she'd rather not have to do so she was thrilled to simply be his model for demonstration.
If Beast asked her though she would give her best answer. Hmmm something about laminated polymer layers of metal fiber blahde-blah blahh they approximated human muscle fiber blah-blahhde-blah when combined with an energy source something something amplified human strength? Yeah...well that's what they do...I don't know the math on it all, but I know when he straps the things on me I can lift a car and I'm just a little thing. The grin on her face was immense and she strode proudly in head held high and looking at the other projects.
"We're totally gonna win this Sean....Totally!!!" she said looking back at him with a grin as she said it and clumsily walked straight into somebody. "Oh wow- sorry! You ok?" she said and seeing it was a new student, and another goth girl like herself she bobbed her head a little and said "Hey I love the ankh. I'm K'8! Call me D'mnchyld if you like, this is my boyfriend Sean. Tune-up's his codename. What's your name?"

Carrying a large and rather expensive looking laptop, Rose walked in to the noisy classroom, her high heels clicking against the floor. She sashayed over next to Ariel, catching Brock's eye in the process when she spied Lorelai flirting with him, and not doing a bad job either. She gave him a sexy wink with her dark violet eyes while sliding into the seat next to Ariel. "Good, you got the stuff," she said in a completely serious and professional voice. She hated the goody goody Corsairs but since it was schoolwork, she kept her hate on the down low. Science and Technology were her areas of expertise and she didn't fool around in those subjects or any class Emma taught.
Rose flipped her dark curls to the side and opened up the high tech laptop she got from Emma as a reward for a mission well done. It was a one of a kind laptop that Emma ordered through her connections at Stark Industries with the design from Tony Stark himself. She pressed her finger on the print scanner to open it and then typed rapidly on the keyboard the many passwords to get access to the laptop.
Her slim quick fingers moved across the keyboard rapidly as she opened up the projecting holographic simulation she put together once her and Ariel finished all the research and testing. Their graph came up in a glowing holographic display shining over the table. "Ok, we're all set then," Rose said and crossed her legs in the chair. She began filing her nails, not paying attention to anyone really since she just wanted to get this class over with and get her A+ so she could go and see her man, who was still sleeping when she left him.

Stoney strolled into the class shortly after Machete, his hair still wet from his morning shower. He had forgotten about the big science day being today until his head hit the pillow and then he regretted the night out with the rest of the Hellions. He felt he really should have been going over some things with Ember and polishing up their presentation. He really did have much to say in it though, she would be doing all the talking and he would be doing all the really dangerous parts.
He had insisted on that since it was the chivalrous thing to do, and so once he walked up to see what Aideen had brought over to their station he went off to fetch the rest of what they would need for their experiment. He was sure it would look incredible and it was something in his youth he never even thought he would ever see, coming from such humble beginnings.
As it turned out she had already gathered most everything they needed with the exception of a fireproof mat. As heavy an item as one might ever find in a science lab. The layers of fiberglass and acrylic woven together were heavy and scratchy. He slid on his labcoat, one that looked almost comical being just slightly too tight for him his muscles had grown so much recently that he was thinking about asking Beast to borrow one of his, but didn't feel like imposing. Besides he had convinced himself that to bother the man might impeded their getting the top place in this little science fair. Encumbered with the dense mat he made his way back to Ember and nodded.
He reached over and grabbed a pair of safety goggles, setting them on his head ever so, and looked down at the items on the table top. He made a mental list checking each thing off of it as his eyes traveled over it. Seeing that they had everything he looked up into Embers pretty chocolate eyes and a slight smile lifted his features. He saw now what all the fuss was about, he hadn't really noticed it before but his lab partner was quite attractive. She was no Gina, but she was pretty in her own way. And he was thankful for her brain, she was carrying him in this. He knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed...but it had been said before, he was the sledgehammer- and they weren't meant to be sharp.

"What else would you expect?" Ariel asked Mahcete, watching her set up the equipment with a roll of her eyes. Like the rest of the Hellions Ariel wasn't too fond of Machete but she could look past it for a project only because she knew that Machete was serious about it and wouldn't do a shitty job. For it she actually kind of didn't mind working with her because she did her part and she did it good, just like Ariel herself did.
Since they were all set up now that the holographic projector was up and running andMachete started filing her nails, Ariel got up before class would officially start, smiling a little with a shake of her head at the younger students flocking around their tables and the new weird goth girl. She seemed entertaining to say the least what with her walk, and she wasn't bad looking either, but she still had her sights set higher.
Ariel got up and went over to Mato's table and saw that he was still setting up the project he probably did all by himself. Since Brock was probably occupied eyeing Aideen or talking to the ice girl she came up behind Mato and put her arms around his neck. She smiled as she leaned up to kiss his cheek sweetly and said quietly, "It's a shame you probably had to do it all by yourself but at least you know it will be good." She looked at all the pictures he had done and the plants he had gotten ready for presentation. It looked like he had put in a lot of work into all of it and she knew he at least would get a good grade for it.

Rumble's presence was becoming harder and harder for Aideen to ignore, but she managed it this time. She refused to give Rumble the satisfaction of reacting to anything that swine said to her. When he came behind her, Aideen just continued to set up for her project and ignored his rancid presence. Don't give him the satisfaction, don't let him see what violating your personal space does to you. Her Uncle's voice floated through her head, reminding her of her carefully conducted conditioning. "You are a soldier, act like it girl. I didn't put all that time and money into raising an impulsive wench with no control on emotions," Gard Whelan would say before grabbing her chin hard, testing her to make sure she always looked straight ahead. "You show a weakness to anyone, and they will use it against you. You allow emotions to come in, and you might as well dig the sai into your stomach and die with honor before those emotions are used against you. You are a Whelan, girl. Act like it." The words of her Uncle pounded in her ears till Rumble left, though he didn't deter her from setting up her experiment.
Her attention stayed on setting up as the others came in, not paying the least bit attention to the noise. Aideen put on her protective gloves and carefully handled the bottle of zinc dust and the vial of ammonium nitrate. The ammonium chloride was a good bit away from the oxygen canister, for Aideen was always careful. When all was set up her dark eyes peered through the protective glasses, taking in the other projects and briefly analyzing the new face in the crowd before passing her over as she did with most of the students. Whether her and Stoney would win, she was unsure. Their project was cleverly put together, mainly with Aideen looking through a list of hypothesis she liked and showing them to Stoney, who would nod if he liked it. The one they decided on was rather dangerous if performed incorrectly.
Despite what many people thought, or even what she thought Stoney himself may think, Aideen found him to be rather clever in his own way. He may not do the best in school, but he was as inquisitive as Aideen when it came to concepts grasping them only when explained or showed to him correctly and clearly. They worked well together, both patiently and silently working together and able to communicate in a way unique to both of them with their naturally quiet nature. It was a feeling of comfort in its own sense for both of them, no pressure to speak and little expectations of the other, never wasting words and speaking only when necessary.
Though still on guard and closed in after her encounter with Rumble, Aideen's lips twitched when she saw Stoney and how the lab coat was barely fitting him. She reached up and tugged on the coat in her direction to loosen it up enough so his arm wouldn't look like it was ready to rip the coat at the seams. Aideen nodded back at him and reached into her bag to take out the fold out poster board of their notes that they put together, as well as the report that the two of them worked on over the weekend. They tried their project only once with success, but the presentation was going to be much bigger than their little test, hopefully giving them the same results. They were all set up and waited patiently for the judging to begin.

"It'll be great Katie girl, we're gonna show them somethin' to be amazed about," Sean said with a big grin, which turned into a chuckle at her adorable clumsiness when she bumped into the new girl. She had been much more careful lately, trying not to get herself injured in any way to activate her power. "Howdy there miss, it's a mighty pleasure to see a new face here," he said with a grin and tipped his hat at her as much as he could since he was carrying the heavy metal suit model that he made with Kate for their project. Sean winked at her, the grin never leaving his face. He knew they were a rather odd couple to look at, him never losing his Texan roots and his Katie girl unique as ever with her gothic punk style, but they worked and thats all that mattered.
"Katie girl, we better getcha suited up. Ain't no quick task missy," Sean said and walked to their desk right in the center of it all. He placed the suit on the table and checked it over, making minor adjustment with the metal so it can slip on Kate easily enough and he'd adjust it once she had it on. Sean had a lot of fun working on it, since he had to incorporate his extensive knowledge on technology that he learned from his Team leader Kitty the past two months. He was already pretty savvy with gadgets in general without all the technological aspects, and now that he had them thanks to both Kitty and Kate pushing him, even Sean was getting impressed at the things he could do. He still had a good deal to learn, and he planned to as thoroughly as he could. Who knows what he could do with that knowledge and his power.
Sean looked up from the machine and grinned at Katie. "When you set up the our poster board, get over to me and I'll get you all suited up to look nice and spiffy," he said and waited for her to finish, looking around in the meantime. Wow there sure are a good deal of interestin' looking projects. Some even look real professional, he thought when he spied Ember and Stoney's project. She was real smart, so he knew it would be something clever and amazing. He had watched Ian and Gavin put their project together with amusement and he couldn't wait to see it in action. It looked like everyone would be having one hell of a presentation, and Sean couldn't wait to see them.

The only acknowledgment that Beast got from Brock was a dark smirk, clearing showing that he didn't give a rat's ass about any old restraining order. Nothing was going to keep him from getting his prize. His glance went to the hungover Ice girl, taking in her little show and the smirk on his face deepening. Brock gave her a long glance, amusement evident in his eyes. He had to hand it to the underclassman, she knew how to stroke his ego to at least make him amused and pay attention. Bird don't got much of an idea on what she's getting herself into, but she knows better than most. We got a bird with some guts here, tuff enough, he thought with smirk. "Doing fine Nursey, but you ain't," Brock took the bottle of hangover pills and tossed it to her. "Can't have my nursey being worse off than her patient."
Brock's gaze snapped to Stoney and his pretty little prize, the amusement never leaving his face, but it grew darker at their interaction. Oh no no Stoney, you're being very naughty. You should not be enjoying my prize's company so much. She doesn't belong to you, and you should never touch what's not yours. Tsk, someone didn't go to preschool and learn that golden rule. I'll have to remind him later that she's not for him. My prize is being naughty, and he's letting her. That is not good, oh no good at all for them. He looked at his prize for a long while before tearing his eyes from her lithe perfect body to look back at his little nurse. "Looks like you forgot your uniform again Nursey, thats just disappointing. Dontcha gotta dress the part too?" he added with a smirk, briefly glancing over at TrueSpirit. Gina said he was cool, and Brock took her word since he just didn't bother finding out if he was amusing or not.
"Reyes whats this? You got a kiss and snuggle for Tanto here and not for me? Oh that's just mean!" he said in a voice as if he was shocked and hurt just to freak with her. Reyes was a hot Amazon, and they had a good lot of fun back in the day. Now the bird was all jealous at the attention he paid his prize, at least that's how Brock saw it. "Nursey she's mean to your poor defenseless patient. How can you let that happen?" he asked in a loud mocking horrified voice. "Well now you're just gonna have to bring me lunch, since I'm too injured to do it all by my lonesome," he said with a dark smirk.

Lorelai smirked and sat up, catching the bottle of hangover pills. "That's right, you can't. Cause who's gonna take care of your ass if you get beaten up again? Not that I'm giving up the job," she asked with an amused smirk and a cute flutter of her eyelashes as she popped in a couple of pills and tossed the bottle back to him. She was glad that the headache and crappy feeling would be going away soon enough now. This whole thing with flirting with Rumble and focusing on him still felt somewhat weird to her, but she was having more fun than she would've expected doing it, and she liked the idea of being on his good side and that of the Hellions. If merely to entertain was what she needed to do, then at least she would have fun doing it.
Lorelai was well aware that Brock was a sociopath, and that in itself wasn't something to be admired nor respected, really, and especially not something to get too far into. She didn't seem to feel too bad for it, as she was not looking for anything more than entertainment and fun. It was all a matter of what had happened before she had even came to the school. In her former high school she had brown hair and was still normal. She had had a boyfriend named Chris who she had been in love with after being with him for the majority of her time in that school. Ironically he was a mutant hater and when she found out she was a mutant, the excuse for her now blue hair was that she wanted to do something crazy. He bought it for a while until he noticed that she had been unnaturally cooler in body temperature.
When he figured it out, he flipped out and pushed her away before trying to deal with it. Unfortunately he was torn with his long held ideals and his feelings for her and couldn't deal with it. He ended it harshly and took with him the majority of her friends who he had turned against her. And so when Lorelai came to this school she pursued and grew feelings for Ian as a sort of rebound that ended rather horribly. Now, a relationship was something she just didn't want, so it was something she wasn't trying for this time.
"I probably should, shouldn't I? If only you shared your hangover pills with me before I might've remembered to wear it. Shame on you," she said with a amused flirty smirk. She only smirked more when he started on the older Corsair who was hanging on the cool Native American guy. Giving Hotwire an amused look Lorelai raised an eyebrow slightly and rolled her eyes as if to say 'Oh please.' She looked back to Brock and laughed. "Oh really? I'm a nurse, not a maid. And you can't afford me as a maid," she said and turned to face the front of the class, only to look over her shoulder at him and winked with a flirty smile.
