This should be fun, Ricki mused as she spun on the spot her eyes searching for Gavin. It wasn't long before he arrived with Hardlight, Ian and Haven. She felt a bit of a lurchy feeling due to the fact that she usually arrived along with the rest of the team to classes, even if she did divert most of her attention to Torri. She tried to shake the thought off - it wasn't like she was ditching her team or anything - right? Ofcourse not, she loved her team - it was just that, well - she didn't particularly want to pass out the opportunity of hanging out with people her own age and acting slightly reckless.
She headed towards her team giving them a bit of a apologetic look, as she stopped besides Hardlight. "Hey Kev-" she greeted smiling, and acknowledged Ian and Haven with a smile as well, ( she hadn't really spoken to them much before seeing her 'alliances' had lied with Frostbite, but now that she'd realized how stupid having alliences in the first place was, she felt slightly awkward ) "Hey Gavin - you're working with me. I've gotta try and get those flags from each of those branches while keeping my balance-" she half turned and indicated to the huge tree awaiting the two, "-you've gotta stop me - somehow. Pssh, if I end up strangling you by 'accident' - I swear, it's nothing personal."
"Right, well... c'ya in a bit Kev - Diesel - Haven." she smiled at the rest of her team as she turned on the spot, heading towards the tree. This'll be a bit hard... I've never streched that high before and I don't know if only my hand can get that high... I mean, I can't control all that muscle yet... maybe I'll try stretching from my waist as well... yeah that might work.

Tia arrived pretty much alone from Lunch, seeing Veronika and Heather had gone somewhere with Veronika's parents and they were the two people Tia always hung out with. There was also Frosty, but she seemed slightly reserved hence Tia didn't really want to bother her. The fact that Frosty was now a part of her team made Tia somewhat happy and left her feeling more comfortable in a way - now she could hang out with both Frosty and Veronika at the same time. I hope they speak to each other, seeing we're all on the same team now. Veronika didn't speak to Frosty much before - but I guess she didn't have any reason to either. I have to say - I definitely prefer Frosty rather than Katana. Katana was just... well weird.
Tia spotted Frostbite and waved at her as she passed her. She made her way towards Iceman, who seemed to be handing out everyone their challenges today - Tia'd always enjoyed Iceman's lessons, they always seemed to help her with her power and now that she'd actually managed to control her power slightly better than before with Frostbite and a bit of Riker's help she'd hopefully be better at the task - though, she was always up for a good challenge. If things were made too easy, what was the point of doing it? It was just no fun then.
"Heya, what am I working on today Iceman?" her face was pretty much expressionless and her voice has the same old dead-tone to it. As she spoke, she spotted yet another unfamiliar face, What is it with new students today? Damn, both of them look kinda creepy. Kat's a paragon - but she's quite nice, though her goth-look still bothers me a bit.

Lorelai smirked as she was given her assignment for the moment. "Awesome, one sec then," she said and looked at Iceman's weirdish chair and imagining it in her head. Not surprisingly, she heard Kris come up near her and speak. She laughed and shook her head. "You know if you were in my place you would've long jumped him by now," she laughed, smirking as she then turned away and pursed her lips slightly as a her usual flurry of snow started spiraling around from her hands in front of her. The image of Iceman's chair was in her head and as the snow started piling and forming itself into a chair similar to what her teacher's chair looked like. The pile of snow was sitting right next to Iceman and within another couple of seconds it all hardened and solidified, an odd looking block of ice that looked like Iceman's chair there.
With another smirk she spun around, sat down, and crossed one leg over the other as she looked up to Kris and then Iceman. "You're right, us cool people have to chill together," she said with a laugh as she then started looking around at everyone else who was starting their challenges. That weird new girl was there, and so was the newest guy who had been sitting at the Paragon table with the rest of them. Lorelai had sat at the end of the table, still able to hear and watch what was going on, but half tuned out from having one earbud in one ear. The new guy looked like a total badass, and kinda hot, which wasn't much of a surprise anymore. All the guys in the school had like this mutant gene that made them really hot. She almost had to say the new guy sort of reminded her of Chris in his stuck up mohawk phase, but she preferred not to think that way to give the guy a chance if he was cool enough since he didn't seem to say much at all.
She shook her head at herself a little and then continued looking around, glancing at Ricki, and then Tia, giving her a small smile and then heard Hardlight announce the arrival of the rest of the Acolytes. The corner of her mouth twitched at the sight of him, but whether it had been going to turn into a smile or a frown she didn't know, so she looked away. He'd done a real good job of just ignoring her now, and it did sting a little as she had been so used to seeing him all the time and talking to him. Now that he dropped her and it wasn't like that anymore, it kinda sucked but she wasn't going to go and try to talk to him. He didn't want that and she preferred not to bother if it wasn't wanted. Besides, he seemed to be doing quite well without her today, all puffed up after a workout with Diesel no doubt, so if he wanted it that way, he'd have it.
Lorelai looked away from him and glanced at Gavin for a second. She hoped he didn't have the same views as her seemingly former best friend, because she had no beef with him either and hoped he at least knew that. But if even he is gonna do that, then you know what? Screw every Acolyte in this school. Not even Ricki's said anything to me at all lately, so she may have dropped me too. If they all have, oh well that's what I'm in the Paragons for. They're my team now and I'll make the best of it there. That's all, she told herself before looking away from any Acolyte around. Lorelai crossed her arms over her chest as she sat back in her ice chair and watched everyone else move around and talk while waiting to work with Iceman.

"Hey Iceman!" Gavin yelled and waved as he walked next to Ian and Niki. He was cracking up all through lunch watching Sky try and stuff six burgers into that tiny frame of hers and quoting Old School and Dodgeball after watching it last night. Meal times were generally more relaxing and this one was just plain hilarious. "I'll catch you guys later then, good luck in class," Gavin said to Niki and Haven, ruffling Kevin's hair as he passed him to jog over to Ricki.
He poked her in the side and grinned. "Oh please, you'll be lucky if you don't get blown away like a rubber band in the wind. I get to work on my wind control again, and I hate to tell you this but I'm pretty good," he boasted playfully and stuck his tongue out at her. "You're going down Rubber girl." Gavin poked her side again playfully and stuck his tongue out. This was one of his favorite classes and Iceman was probably hands down his favorite teachers. As predictable as it may be, Iceman was literally the coolest. This class had it's share of incidents too, but usually it was a lot of fun.
Gavin put his elbow on Ricki's shoulder and leaned on her as he waited everyone to get there so they could start. "Don't worry, I won't blow you away too far," he teased her and almost expected a playful smack or poke back, which was all well and good. This challenge was going to be fun and he was looking forward to it.

Chase was having fun with the whole piggy back thing and Sky had really made a piggy of herself at lunch. Ever the gambler Freeze-Frame couldn't resist the urge to bet her she didn't have the stomach to stomach all the sloppy-joes this side of the Mississippi. Well she did it, six to be exact much to his surprise, and she did it with style. The last one she jammed in her gib and grinned as the sauce gooed out the corners of her mouth and ran down her chin, it was silly-sexy, like Decay was known for.
He started to bounce her a little more on his back now since she was really pushing her luck to make him keep carrying her. He was gonna take her to the sea-sick limit if he could but he sure didn't want to wear her lunch all down his back and in his hair, so he didn't want her to puke on him. Plus it was more for fun than to seriously make her sick so he laughed as he did it. He knew she would need to help him if they were going to get through this challenge. "Cool! That'll be a good one Iceman, I'm down with that." He spun around a few times getting dizzy himself and knowing Sky was feeling it as she started to slip off to the side.

The side of the garage door slipped open and Ariel, along with a freshly showered Aideen stepped out and walked toward the class. Aideen had spent all of lunch getting her motorcycle in prime condition for racing the next night, getting to it first so she had the night ahead of her free to proceed with other plans. She changed the oil, replaced the battery with a new one she ordered, adjusted her rear brakes, did a fork seal replacement and adjustment, and cleaned and installed a new exhaust system looking like a regular greasemonkey while doing it all. Dressed in Mason's old work shirt over a grease stained wife beater, dirty stained jeans with holes in them, hair back in a bandanna, grease and oil stains on her arms and face and grease under her fingernails was not a look that Aideen often wore. Mason and Ariel got a kick of seeing their neat and careful teammate get down and dirty to finish everything in time.
Aideen was sweeping her long hair up into a bun while listening to Ariel and her little flirtatious comments. She was in too good of a mood to really care about the fact that she was seen in something less than her pressed and neat clothes with her put together and kept appearance. She got all her work done and had both Mason and TuneUP check it over and both confirmed that she was in the clear. It had been awhile since she did a speed job on her bike, and it was nice to know she still got it.
"Good Afternoon Iceman," Aideen said in a polite and professional voice as she always did with teachers. The class didn't even start and already everyone was buzzing with excitement about the upcoming challenges. Excitable as ever, Iceman looked just as excited. Aideen respected him and greatly admired his power, though she didn't feel she really needed to be in his class, it didn't seem practical but she needed one more credit as an elective and it was either this class or art and Aideen was far from the artistic type. This class to her seemed almost frivolous for her, but she understood why others took it. Aideen dedicated a good deal of time learning to control her power and how to use it in creative ways, this class barely challenged her sharp mind and keen instincts. She waited politely for her challenge of the day, standing quietly and straight as any soldier would waiting for an order.

Hands held as they walked almost stride for stride, K'8 and Sean had needed a bit of time to peel her out of the construct they had made for Beast's class. She was always so very careful now and didn't even want to challenge her powers with a slight bruise, who knew if a demon would erupt through her skin or not.
"I wonder what Iceman's gonna have you do this time." she said to TuneUp as the approached. "I still have this note from Ms.Frost since there is always a chance I could get cut, but I might join in today...maybe." Then she thought about it and a shiver ran up her spine. "Maybe not though."
"Hey, I'll watch you though. I'll be right over here." she said as she let go of his hand and kissed his cheek. As she stepped over to Iceman and Frostbite she said "I think I'm going to sit this class out too if it's okay by you Iceman...I just...uh, you know I just don't feel ready yet. Can I stay and watch though cause I really do want to see what everybody's learning."
Truth be told she did want to explore her powers more and be a benefit to her team, but she was afraid of all that went with it. She had been so into being a loner and a weirdo for the longest time and now, since returning from her fathers realm of LIMBO and going out with Sean she wanted to be a part of the team and a part of the school. It was a shame that not too many people would talk to her though, she chalked it up to her appearance and the fact that some of them might still hate her for all they got put through in Limbo.

Bounding across the lawn excitedly Coffee landed in front of Iceman and Frostbite's ice sculpture chairs with a thud and gave them each a polite bow hello. Coffee loved powers training almost as much as he loved his job helping Karma with the Alphas. He was grateful that Ms. Frost and Iceman let him take the class, even though he was not a student, and hoped that the kids were getting something out of his being there as he had learned a few things about boxing and hand to hand combat in the Mojoverse. I wonder what the challenges are today. Something fun for sure. Iceman has such a great imagination. , the rabbit thought happily as he waited for his marching orders.
He could already see that imagination at work as he surveyed the lawn which was covered with interesting objects. The colored balls looked like a lot of fun and the rabbit could see all kinds of uses for them in his mind. Maybe its powers dodge ball. That was incredible. Oh, I can't wait to play that again, please let it be that!, he thought. Only there were not enough balls so he knew Iceman must have come up with something else.
But wait, there's a tennis ball machine near it so maybe we're playing that after all. But as he saw yet more things set up, a tree covered in flags, and a vast array of dummies and hurdles near the lake he realized something. He's not doing a big group exercise. He's testing powers individually. Cool! Maybe he even got me some mirrors., Coffee hoped and started to bounce a little with excitement. He loved boxing and hand combat but he hadn't mirror jumped since he got to the school three months earlier.
Hey, don't get too excited., he scolded himself. And stop bouncing. Putting a serious look on his face, Coffee looked back at Iceman. Seeing Katana hanging around Iceman's chair not too far from him, Coffee also sent up a quiet prayer. Please God don't make me have to work with her again.

All through lunch TrueSpirit's words and the image of her spirit animal haunted her mind. Not an evil haunting, but a nagging. She wanted to be able to assert herself, that was what she always did, but she wanted also to try at least to keep some semblance of control over herself and her emotions. She didn't need to keep opening her mouth when Rumble made his comments.
She and Diesel had given Brock the beat down and she would have killed him too, so he had to know she was capable. The problem with him was he never let on how much something hurt him and that just irked Haven to no end. This next class period would be a test of her abilities in more than just her powers. She was going to apply what she had been told and see just how long she could stand not mixing it up with him.
Nuzzling Ian's neck as they got closer to the area where the class was held she whispered "I'm gonna let Aideen handle her own business from now on. I'm not telling you what to do baby, but she's a big girl and we can watch her back so nothing or nobody else can blindside her. I'm not throwin in the towel on this Rumble thing, but too many eyes are on him now and honestly I think he likes the attention." She let her lips play on his neck softly as she spoke to him. "Like a four year old, any attention he can get is what he craves. I'm not feeding into it anymore....but...." she giggled with a slight sinister twist on it "I will put him in 'Time Out' if I have to."
Turning to see Hardlight act as spokesman for the group a slight smile spread across her lips. Nudging Diesel with her elbow as nodded at little Kevin and mouthed 'How cute'. She wasn't super fond of him, but he was growing on her. She had actually thought he was kind of stuck up until she got to know him better, and now that she gotten word that he was all but done with Frostbite she had to admit to herself that she liked him much better.

Ariel walked in with Aideen and up to Iceman for their challenges. This class was normally fun, somewhat easy, but still fun, and like everyone else Ariel liked Iceman cause he was just plain awesome. When she got up to him she grinned cutely as one hand sparked a little. "Whaddya know? Sparks are flying between us," she said with a laugh as she looked from him to Frostbite next to him. She didn't look for long since she looked back to Iceman and winked. "What's on the agenda for today?" she asked, and then looked around at the younger kids all excited to get started. She saw the younger girl Haven who tried to take down Rumble and had to shake her head a little.
The girl had stones, Ariel would give her credit for that, but she probably didn't know what the hell she was getting herself into for trying to protect Aideen's honor and all that. Ariel knew Rumble for years- pretty much when she first came to the school six years ago the Hellions had just arrived from the Massachusetts Academy and they were horrid students. They were wild and Ariel had to admit to herself that she had been afraid of a then-younger Rumble. He was destructive, he freaked her and the other younger students out and always caused some sort of trouble. When he was fighting it was even more scary, cause with attacks on the school she had seen him kill some people regardless of who they were without a second thought or a blink of an eye. He was totally lethal in general.
Nothing ever bothered him, nothing ever got to him, but he definitely got to plenty of people, then and now. He only had to just say something to set them off and it was no different then than it was now- if not worse. He was dangerous and emotionless and there was nothing he ever gave two shits about, and no one he ever respected, save for maybe Emma Frost. He even was on somewhat good terms with the Corsairs for a good bit of time because he didn’t give enough of a shit to adhere to the ‘Hellion code’ that forbade it. And when they hung out he always bragged about the things he had done, horrible things to people in general and things he had done to women, just because he could. Ariel had even messed around with him for a while, but the moment he started in on Aideen, that and any good terms he had with the Corsairs was thrown out the window, similar to how Wolverine threw him out.
But for Haven to think she could take down a guy like this was just a little presumptuous. Ariel had heard how she had spent maybe a month training with the Brotherhood, but even something like that would never match up to anything Rumble knew how to do. It wasn't possible. Ariel knew that Emma handpicked her Hellions when running the Massachusetts Academy, and she picked them for a reason. She trained them for the worst things and they did them very well. Even now, she probably ran them hard and rough, despite her change from evil to good. The Hellions were still plenty lethal even though they were at Xavier's and forced to interact with everyone else. One sixteen year old girl was no match for him, no matter how confident in her abilities she was. Sure, she could hit him a couple of times, but she would most likely die trying. Girl needs to be really careful with this cause she's got no idea what she's getting herself into. Hope she smartens up before it's too late.
Ariel shook her head again at it all and wondered how long it would be before Rumble showed up now that Aideen was there. It was like he had this radar in his head that told him she was somewhere for him to torment and he took up every chance he could. Class would probably end up with some injuries, Ariel was sure, but for now she just wanted to go with the flow as much as she could. She didn't want to get pissed off all over again because it just wasn't worth it. That and she needed to learn how to control her anger. For now, she looked at Aideen and grinned. "I'm surprised you could get so down and dirty," she said, referring to the grease monkey look she had been sporting just before class. "Next time you do, let me know. I'll happily join you," she said with a wink and a laugh. "And if you ever need help cleaning up, I'm always willing to lend a hand," she said, grinning wider. Of course she was joking- she always joked when it came to flirting with Aideen. That's all it could be and she knew it. Since she got away with it, however, she was quite content with that.

Brock strolled over from behind the group, looking in an extremely good mood with a note in his hand. He could care less that he just a bit more bruises, he wore them proudly. So far he got a total six people that he pushed to the edge, his two favorite being Cyclops and Wolverine. Ariel always looked her hottest when she was pissed, so he counted himself lucky to accomplish that. His beautiful prize of course, and he wore the marks from their encounters proudly. The two idiot underclassmen which was just plain hilarious in his eyes meant little to nothing to him. Their marks were equivalent to the feeling that one may have with a mosquito bite. Yes it was there and slightly annoying, but put a little medicine on it and you forget its even there. Then when Brock remembered when he wasn't taking those lovely pain numbing pills that Ol' Fuzzy got him, he just had to laugh at the thought of people as insignificant as those two trying to get to him. He barely even looked at them till yesterday and decided to continue that trend, since the sight of a boy who most likely lost all his brain cells from running into a wall too much as child and his little girlfriend that smelled as cheap as she looked were a displeasure to his vision. Brock considered it one of his biggest regrets to live in a time period that freaks of nature like that weren't drowned at birth.
People like that blocked the lovely picture he had looking at his prize from behind, his cold blue eyes running up and down her exquisite form. His eyes moved down the lovely line of her back that ended at an ass that nearly made him salivate at the perfect toned behind that was quite possibly the best he had ever laid eyes on. Not obnoxiously large or gave the impression that she had trouble walking without knocking something over, which was a very nice attribution as far as Brock was concerned. He came up behind her not even hiding it and stood behind her, grinning down at her. "Hey baby. I'm sorry I missed you at lunch. I was just bothering Ol' Fuzzy," Brock said in a tender and caring voice, taking great pleasure in this little game he was playing. He took a long sniff and smirked at the familiar scent of raspberries and vanilla that always tantalized him and induced a line of scenarios to run through his mind. "Mmmm... you smell good baby, you always do. Really strong now though, you just take a shower baby? I'll join you next time and keep you company," he said in that same tender voice, tempted to nuzzle her neck. However he would save the touching for a later stage in their game.
"Iceman guess what? I got this little note here that says I get to sit out. Getting thrown out a window gets you perks like that huh?" Brock said with a smirk. He looked over at Lorelai and his smirk got a little more wicked. "Heya Nursey. You been neglecting your duties. And I see no outfit on, don't tell me you're trying to bail on me," Brock said with the same cold look. He went over to the pool nearby and dragged over one of the beach chairs to sit next to the ice chairs. He put his arms in the back of his head and grinned at his pretty prize. "Aw baby don't be jealous. You know you always come first. Look I even got a special seat for you." Brock patted his knee and the smirk on his face was as dangerous as ever. "I know its not your favorite place to sit on me, but it's all we can do for now baby," he said in the same tender voice that contradicted the sinister look on his face.

"You are so freaking full of yourself!" Ricki exclaimed in mock surprise, narrowing her eyes playfully as she turned her head to look at Gavin, shrugging off his elbow as she ruffled his hair. "We get it. You're a hot red-head cool-winged rockstar. But come on lay off the boasting dude." she winked, giggling slightly to make it clear that she was joking. She sighed slightly, before starting to poke his sides in turn, aiming a back-hand slap at his chest to end her physical harassment. "Quit-poking-me! It hurts! Rubber girl has feelings!" she rolled her eyes grinning at her team mate. "Pssh, watch me mess up your pretty feathers Croft." she added messing his hair up as she tip toed and placed her own arm on his elbow. "Urgh, why d'you have to be so tall?"
She'd never actually felt this free at the academy before - it was like being back in Florida with all her friends where she could just mess about and have fun. Meh - he is right about hte flying off like a rubber band thing - i'm a lot more unstable when I stretch out! she tried to shake the thought away - she couldn't start her project with a negative frame of mind, that was never a good thing. "Urgh- here we go again." Ricki moved her elbow from Gavin's shoulder partially due to the fact that her hand was hurting and partially due to nudging the guy to make Rumble's presence known. "I just hope he doesn't create another big scene again - we really don't need a repeat of Science class." Ricki muttered with a slight sigh, "I still don't see how Sky could possibly think about how hot he is when he's acting all psycho." she added in an undertone making sure her words were only for Gavin's ears.

Dante had been eying the guy with the wings he was supposed to work with, sizing him up and trying to decide if this guy would be decent. He had already taken in the wings and other odd features of some of the students at lunch, but he was more focused on characters than actual looks. The guy gave off a decent vibe, not all that street but definitely not a square. Dante was opened his mouth to say something to Oynx, but no sound came since at that moment he caught sight of the two girls coming out of the garage and he closed his mouth as he stared at the through the space in Onyx's wings.
"Dammnn..." he said quietly, staring at them and blinking just to make sure he wasn't having some weird hallucination. For all he knew, someone here had that power and was screwing with his head, but they looked pretty real. The one thing that he notice about this school was that the broads were real lookers, from the foxy headmistress to some of the girls he saw at lunch. These two he didn't see at lunch, he would have remembered them. His aqua colored eyes studied the two girls, both looked a bit older than him. Dante took in the tall Amazon's bronze skin, voluptuous figure, and exotic features that made he look like she belonged in some magazine ad for a tropical island. He'd definitely go to whatever island she was from. The girl next to her was just as stunning, if not more. She wasn't as voluptuous as the girl next to her, but not any less pleasing to look at. A compact tight body, her smooth tan skin complete with a face that rivaled any model that Dante had ever seen. She looked just as exotic but slightly more dangerous which he dug a lot. Neither of them looked like some squares either which only made them more appealing. He blinked again and put the tough act right back up that had slipped when he looked at the two women.
Looking back at the other guy just before, as if he wasn't just floored by two stunning women, Dante this time did speak to Onyx, only looking at the broads at the corner of his eye. "What exactly is dark matter?" he asked to the point and not wasting words. His eyes only moved again when the tall blonde guy came right behind the girl with brown hair, speaking to her as if they were together, but from others reactions, he was quick to gather that it wasn't the case. Dante looked between them and then back at Onyx with slightly raised eyebrows. There was a shift in the atmosphere at the blonde bruised guy's arrival, and Dante always prepared himself for everything.

Glaring hard at Rumble's head with narrowed eyes, Ian finally shrugged and pulled Niki closer to his side, squeezing her hip affectionately as to not hurt her. He had way better control of his strength than he did before and knew what would and wouldn't hurt others. Turning his head, he dropped a kiss on top of her head, still watching Rumble warily. "I know she can handle herself babe, we all know she can but she shouldn't have to. I'll back off for now, but he takes one step that I really don't like and he's going through a brick wall headfirst," Ian mumbled grumpily. Just like he told Kevin earlier when they were working out, he had no doubt that Aideen could take it on, but she deserved a chance to chill out and be happy without a psycho breathing down her neck.
"Aw freak him, Spitfire got it," Ian conceded and turned his attention to Iceman. "Iceman bro-ha! What you got planned for me today? Want me to bench stuff? See I can bench stuff." Playfully he grabbed Niki up in his arms and held her carefully as if she was one of the bars at the gym, though not quite so tightly. With one hand on her back and one on the back of her thighs, he started doing arm curls with her and gave her a grin to lighten the mood and the atmosphere a bit. "Hate to tell ya babe, but you make a bad weight bar. Don't worry I still love ya," Ian said with a wink and kissed her lightly when she came up for one of the arm curls. He liked making her laugh and showing her off a bit. He felt she needed to laugh more cause she had an adorable laugh, one of his favorite things about her. Ian generally went out of his way to get a cute squeal of laughter out of her and just goof off a bit. He had a feeling that she didn't laugh enough growing up and he wanted to make it up to her. They were affectionate enough, but he liked to just goof off with her too.
"You have no future as a weight bar babe," Ian said with a laugh and put her down carefully on her feet. He slung his arm back around her waist and grinned widely at her. He wasn't going to let Rumble ruin his good mood. Point is that he got to see Rumble thrown out the window and that image topped all.

Sean smiled at Kate when she walked away, looking her over and almost proud at how much she grew since he first. She was such a sweet girl, and surprisingly shy at times. He knew it would be awhile before she had the courage to try active things again, but she'd do it cause that was just the kind of girl he got to know over the past couple of months. Riker admired his little lady's quick mind and her skills of observation at other people's power and picking up key details. Sean wasn't surprised, simply proud to have her by his side.
"Afternoon Iceman," he waved to one of the coolest teachers in the school, quite literally. He walked over to stand by Lurai and Riker, laughing at the two wolf twins. "Aw Lurai don't ya listen to that ruffian of a brother of yours. You're too fast for anyone to catch ya and ruin your hair," he said with a wink to his teammate. He was glad that she was looking better after that altercation with Alex. Sean was still real upset over that, having talked to Katie about it this morning at breakfast.
He glanced her way and gave her a grin while he waited to get his challenge sheet. My little lady will be back in the field soon, but till then she looks mighty cute sittin' with that purty smile on her face, he thought to himself.
