Jocelyn was pretty relaxed and hell, even a little turned on as an after effect of that drink Mato passed around, but she was nowhere near as gone as Ariel. "Wow babydoll, you better lay off anymore goods, you're not handling them well at all. They're not for the weak of mind doll." She stood up and flung her ebony hair over her shoulder. "Although for you it seems to be a spike of courage. You gotta get shitfaced just to flirt with me? Oh doll that's disappointing I'm not ugly enough for that," Jocelyn said while walking over to Mato. With a wink to him, she plucked the canteen from his belt and took another small sip, visibly shivering as the liquid went down her throat. "Oooh wow, that is some stuff. No more for you doll, you can't handle the strong stuff." Jocelyn wagged her finger at Ariel and looked around lazily.
Weed always relaxed her and also made her really horny, but she seen it have some bad effects on others, and it didn't look like Ariel was up for something that hardcore. With all the partying that Jocelyn did while in at Atlantis, it took more than one crazy potent drink and a hit to get her f@#%ed up. "Thanks there by the way Chief, and I know some people in the school move fast, but not that fast. They probably thought about it, but Ariel's the only weirdo that would do that," Jocelyn said with a giggle and moved over to Shade.
She planted her feet on either side of his legs and smirked down at him, lightly swishing her hips for effect, as if she was trying to get her balance. "Grant me a taste... Oh Dark Mysterious Shade?" she asked in that slightly meek voice that the Female Champion used to make her use to address her. Now to anyone else she looked like she was talking about the weed, but the smirk on her face alluded to much more than that.

"You gonna get yourself into something that you wont wiggle your way outta you keep that up. I think you might be ready too. Now that I look at ya, you kinda got a look. I like to call it the glow of fascination..." Then with twisting silent and snakelike hand, into silky raven dark hair, a steady firm pull. Bringing mouth close he did to ear upturned, as bended neck under forceful hand turned like a worm on a hook "...somebody threw an extra gear on that freaky mind a yours when you were away, I see it now" Whispering he with dry hot breath of amber sweet and clovelike misery-cord poised to end it all "Get down now and I will be less cruel later" Pulling then down from off his lap to sit she upon the ground next to him a look of dominance and control so easy worn and worn in looking.
Passing 'six demon bag', her challenge to prove worthy, unspoken but issued. Turning to regard him then, the spirit walking, spirit talking, Corsair and spoke true the shadow from the crusted charred and lifeless heart that pumped ink black blood "I don't think you have it in ya to lie Shaman, but you do alright. From what I have seen of you, I can tell respect is your drug of choice...these other things" waved he his hand 'round at weed, drink and flesh "you enjoy, sure. Yes. Worldly they might be, but respect- yeah I think that's what gets you off. The sanctity of life you respect. The sovrienty of free will you honor" looking down and nodding, to roll one more for the group her task set upon, as near it's end the passed blunt came back then to he.
"So I know two things. One: you lied about the Chief. Since you would respect the man more than yourself, but the bow more than the man..." toking blunt and losing himself in it's ashen tip, watching the glowing ember, politic-ing "...and Two: even though you would respect the free will of your lightweight team mate over there..." smoke billowing out of mouth with the words as they flowed bubbling dry as mud cracked in the desert sun. Taking another long drag, of himself making a pig and flicking then the stub of a roach over for hottest jester to finish. Fingertips of granite and caring not if burned he got would smoke till smoked the his tips of fingers off. "...by taking away your free will in forcing herself on you she has gained just a kiss, oh boy, but lost your respect. Tisk-Tisk." Upon new thrall cast he down then eyes dark. Her progress in her work progressing and not her first blunt rolled it appeared.

Kelly Burns took the blunt with eyes lit up like he just got a giant box of Milky Way all for himself. "Shade duuuude you're awesome man." He brought it to his lips and took a deep breath, to stoned and too into the blunt to care that his fingers were burning. "Shade man, you had a hot blue chick in your lap just now, I swear. She looked like Jocelyn and... oh hey Joce that was you. Awww I caught you. You thought you could freak with my head, but AHA I'm too smart." Kelly nodded knowingly and then paused as it hit him just now what they were doing. "What the hell I thought you were a carpet muncher?" he said pointing his finger at her accusingly and then started smiling as he wiggled his finger. "Hahha I have long finger. And look! It bends!" Kelly took a moment to entertain himself by moving his finger around.
Then he pointed it at Mato, still looking at it and making it wiggle funny. "No way you did that, It took me a whole day to get to that stage and no way that you beat me. Then again, the women were so stunned by my hotness it took them awhile to get to that stage. Still though, you'll never beat me man. NoooooOOOooOoOooOOo wayyyyyyyy." Now Kelly was making all the fingers on his hand wiggle as he looked over at a very much gone Ariel. "Why didn't I get a kiss? I'm right next to you and I got nothing. Is that how you treat the guy that you yourself called your Hercules Rocket of Love?" Kelly accused and folded his arms pouting before picking up a rock and turning it into a hostess cupcake to make himself feel better.

Though Mato's face remained solemn, a wave of respect washed over him for Shade and his astute observation. He of course was not extremely surprised, as Shade possessed the Spirit of the Bat. The Bat was known for many things: Shamanic death and rebirth, observing the unseen, pollination of new ideas, camouflage, transition, and understanding the darker side of others. The Spirit of the Bat was not common, for very few could handle the traits that were embedded in one that held that Spirit. On many levels, Mato saw a kindred spirit in Shade. They both understood many aspects of life that none would even fathom going near and they both had a knack for learning just by observing.
Mato bowed his head slightly. "I cannot hold one's inebriated actions against them. Though the free will was exercised to take substances, it has little control over actions committed with the effect of the substances," he said solemnly, but he didn't deny or confirm Shade's statement. Perhaps because Mato was so used to an image he had in mind on how ladies should behave themselves that it clouded his mind on others, but that wasn't quite the reason he felt uncomfortable. Mato had nothing against how others behaved unless it was disrespectful. Jocelyn was incredibly bold and loutish, but he didn't find it appalling. What he felt was the problem was Mato's definition of intimate actions. He believed that everything from a kiss to the simple gesture of holding a lady's hand was meant to be special. Playful actions were just as special and he treated them as such.
It was an old method of thinking compared to how many of the people at the school treated such actions, but it was something that Mato held true to himself. Very few people understood his way of treating women, two of them being on his own team. Whenever he offered a hand to Aideen or Tracy to help them up, or opened doors for them, or simply offered to get something for them, he could tell that they understood that his implications were simply to act as a proper gentleman. They didn't pass it off as just him being nice, but thanked him for it the way a proper lady would. It was disheartening when others didn't understand or at the very least respect his old world behavior.
"It appears that Shade was correct, and his reasoning was uncanny to the truth. I never shot the Chief of my Tribe with a bow and arrow. I always trusted in the bow to shoot the arrow true, and it never failed me." Mato looked over at Kelly and smiled slightly. "I'm sorry to disappoint you my friend. I had no intent to steal any record you may have held." Out of respect for American Dream, he would never tell anyone, but he did often think of it and the meanings behind her words that often rang through his head. Mato wished he could have spoken with her more, but if there was any truth to her words, he was sure he'd get the chance to again.

Ariel looked around with slightly wide eyes and pursed lips as everyone spoke, hearing what the Shade had said. Her eyes went a little wider and she looked at Mato. "You don't like me anymore?" she asked, her voice sounding a little worried as she continued, "I'm sorry...just couldn't resist, y'know, a wee bit bolder than I should be like this," she said, holding two fingers close together, close to her face to show how wee it was, even though it was noticeably more. It wasn't that she wasn't bold sober, she was, just not as much as she was now. "Too silly after so little, can you forgive me? I had been wanting to ask lessons in calmness but mehbe I shouldn't," she said, speaking loud at first before lowering her voice as if she were talking to herself, looking down at her now lowered hands.
She stayed like that for another moment before she realized it was her turn and made a face as it occurred to her. "Oh it's my turn now right? Ok let's see," she thought, holding her chin with a hand as she thought of two truths and a lie, humming quietly as she thought. "That chick I made out with at that bar wherever it was- the one that made me decide chicks weren't so bad was actually a dude dressed up really good as a chick," she said, listing it off with her finger. "I've pantsed every one of my brothers while wrestling with them and I'm alive to tell the tales," she said, counting off another finger, and then listed off her last statement. Counting a third finger, she said, "And in English class I mentally undressed every chick in there."

Jocelyn raised her eyebrows slightly at Ariel, leaning back against the tree trunk next to Shade. "Wow girl you sobered up fast. Just like an on and off switch huh?" she said glancing over at Shade with a skeptical look screwed up on her face. "Lucky girl huh?" Jocelyn shrugged and leaned up to get on her hands and knees in an almost suggestive manner. The whale tale of her pink thong coming out of her jeans as she crawled over to the cooler one her hands and knees and opened it.
"Hmm... I say the last one," Jocelyn said bent over the cooler to look for a can of her favorite beer. "Cause if you were undressing me with your mind, the only time we would've been talking was dirty talk." She stuck her ass out nice, a lazy smile coming on her face as she rummaged through the cooler a little more before find the can of Heineken. Still on her knees, she straightened up, shaking her dark hair to fall on her smooth bare blue back, covering the pink strap of her bra. Her hands went to her hips, thumbs grabbing onto the belt loops of her jeans and pulling them up higher, wiggling her hips into them.
Turning her head, Jocelyn grinned at Shade before falling back and walking backwards to her spot next to him. When her kink was ignited, it came full on and she wanted it all. She moved her head so some of her hair fell over her shoulder and tickled her cleavage. "At least... that makes sense to me." Jocelyn raised her eyebrows as if daring anyone to tell her she was wrong.

"You have gotta be kidding me with this" his head Shade shook. "I thought you seemed a little too lightweight for your huge ass. What... you were fakin being wasted? Yeah, OK...now that's classy. I don't get you wanna be bad girls who pretend to be this or that." Concerned with image, something never that he was Of little worth opinion and view of any eye, save his own, bother with not did he. Ego not his vice and never allowing others to impress upon, or impede with their own, his will always done his way had he... least without his knowledge done another's.
To see then the blunt as close to done rolled. His blue thrall her fingers considered... having been only the Gods would know where, or in whom wiggling. Burn fishy tasting or worse was the fear, but enjoy it none the less would he. "Let's go I'm done with this bullshit and I think it's time for a moon light nature walk...I know a place. It's right around the tree down there." to Jocelyn a nod as slowly a twisting of ideas in his mind turned, and did light up the blunt still yet moist from her tongue. "We'll be back, but don't wait up."
Cinched he up then 'Six Demon Bag', and to Mato did gently he hand it over. "I know you'll take good care of this, and I trust you to keep the seeds safe." with wink at the native and knowing look passed, a look of one who the bounty of the earth has learned. The secrets of growing and conserving, of germination and pollination gleaned from error through trials sublime. Never help asked of Russian Tin Man, true enough though was it that held no clothes or shoes did his wardrobe, filled with herb all to growing it was. On guard constantly, for his love hidden there was, from White Queen and her digging and probing. Protect his crop the harvest to reap, alway then practice did he as his mind a swirl of nothingness to keep.
Learned fast did young Stephen, in days early on, of mistress dominating pale and beautiful- yes, deadly- to be sure, and greedy of all around which her mental tentacles she could wrap. Say aloud she would how liberties never took, yet knew he as all her Hellions that always she did. Was her natural way, her nature true, of the world around her to learn. Over him She, thus learned to dominate, as growing up ever present was The Queen. In her company became he as blank slate, as wisp of steam, un-descript, tasteless and insipid to her minds curious cravings.
"I didn't cut out of practice for this stupid crap. Sure whipping out my dick at you all was fun, but I'm not even sorry to say Ariel...your little game is killin my high." Turned and grabbed up his backpack and to grab Jocelyn spun back. Around her upper arm, hard and tight yet not to hurt but to command, with firm hand helped her then to her feet. A tug given sharp, like unto leash with a willful puppy on it's end.... she that puppy, that dog he would train, to heal and beg at every chance ungagged. Would he tormentingly twist, tease and oh yes smack and patty-wack, and then to that poor dog give a bone.
"Mato man, roll what you like out of there but don't look inside that bag dude, not with your eyes at least." sincerity and respect in his eyes for the totem magical indeed was it. "Truth this time, really- I got that bag from Canada...a little gift I, uh... I got myself when we went to help out Alpha Flight, so beware. It really is a bad ass bag man." with look in his eyes undeniable, played back his mind the vision then... fragmented the memory of happenings, and visibly The SHADE did shudder. As over his shoulder backpack slung, and into Night's Dark Wood walk begun.

"What the... hey wait what no fair!" Kelly yelled looking after them. He didn't like not being included and he couldn't believe that Shade was the one that got to hook up with hot blue lesbian. He was the one who was supposed to turn lesbians back on to men, because of his God like looks and ruggedly boyish charms. "How the hell is he...? Aw man this sucks." Kelly threw a beer bottle in the fire, jumping a bit at the extra sparks from the fire.
Poor Kelly was quite upset at the moment, and not even his favorite beer made him feel better. A minute later though he started cracking up like there was no tomorrow. "HAHAHAHAH I said 'sucks'. Ahahahah. What uhhh. What were we doing? Hey wasn't Joce just here?" It was not at the stage where Kelly Burns was amused by just about anything. "I'm gonna take a leak. And when I get back," He looked right at Ariel and pointed a finger at her. "You better be topless." He stood up and went to the woods, whistling a tune from School House Rock.
