Getting into his car hadn't been much of an issue- when you were a technopath, you didn't need keys to get in the car. He still couldn't figure out why the teachers felt the need to take his keys from him- but hey, whatever, maybe it was just a feel good thing- something to remind them of their authority or whatever. Hell with it. Jax couldn't care less at the moment, he was in his car, with his laptop on his lap, and an iTouch plugged into the USB port, his playlist sync-ing to the device.
His surround-sound music system was on, and he was listening to Use Somebody by Kings of Leon, but the music wasn't as loud as it had been when he'd first come into the school- no, it was at more of a decent volume, and he was nodding his head to the music, watching the iPod sync to his extensive music library. It might'a seemed strange to some people- the fact that he was hangin' alone in his car- but the only reason he was here was 'cause he knew Riker didn't like electronics all that much- hence he didn't wanna stay in his room- and the only other place he felt comfortable was his car.
This baby'd been his home for almost a week, and Jax just always had a connection with all things electronic- maybe it was because of his power, he didn't know, but he just felt a lot more comfortable around techonology and gadgets. The mansion was yet too rural- from what he'd seen- not that he minded, seeing he did spend a helluva lot o' time out on the lands workin' and huntin'.
"You know that I could use somebody... someone like youu." Lucky for others- they couldn't hear Jax over the music.

The garage door opened just then and Jocelyn eased the car into the garage, parking it in the first available spot that she knew wasn't reserved for the motorcycles. "Baby loves to dance in the dark ‘Cuz when he’s lookin’ She falls apaaaaarrrrt Baby loves to dance, loves to dance, loves to dance in the dark," Joce sang at the top of her lungs while looking over at Shade and winking. The car ride was actually a little bit of fun, though Ariel freaked out when they were pulled over. Jocelyn got them out of it though, she flirted a little with the male officer and was quite generous in showing off her 'assets' that he let her off with a warning about speeding.
They were home in no time though, and the ride was just as eventful. With Kelly and Ariel getting in a wrestling match in the back seat, and Shade of course giving his two cents by throwing things at Kelly and blaming it on Ariel, while Mato just tried to stay out of the way. Joce had a blast, with the windows down and the music blasting at full volume as they sped down the highway. Contrary to popular belief, she was actually a pretty decent driver, if not a little reckless at times with the speed.
"Oh yea, we're home! And see, I told you we'd make it in one piece," Joce said looking back at Ariel with a smug look before she grinned. "Dane should be landing any minute, I can't wait to see the look on Emma's face when she sees him." She unbuckled her seat and smiled widely as she reached down to turn off the Image Inducer. "Sooo much better," she said with a big grin, looking over at Shade with a wink. "I know you missed looking at the blue skin, it contrasts so nicely with the pink." She killed the engine and oh so elegantly got out of the car by pushing herself out through the open window.
"Baby loves to dance in the dark, cuz when he's looking she falls apaaarrrt," Joce sang looking around the garage in the mean time. She didn't see Mason's monster car or the other motorcycles so she knew Tracy wasn't back yet. It made her pout slightly, as she missed her best friend and was soooo looking forward to seeing that hot number in the leather again. She did however see some guy sitting in a really nice, expensive looking car. Ever the subtle one, Joce winked at him and waved before prancing outside so she could meet Dane. Well really she danced her way out the open garage door, still enjoying the Lady Gaga Jam session she had going on in her head.

Blink. Double blink. Tripple blink.
Was Jax going crazy, or did he just see a blue chick wink at him and practically dance out of the garage? Jax felt like he'd practically been paralyzed again. The first thought that came to Jax's head was probably the most ridiculous thing in this goddamn world- that perhaps all that crap his mom talked about when he was younger- wasn't crap at all. His ma was a pretty damn religious person, and she constantly told Jax stories and myths about their religion and gods- in all honesty, Jax could never really care less, but he still remembered them all and listened from time to time. He was pretty damn sure that one of their main gods was blue. Altho- he never ever had a daughter.. did he? But this chick was pretty damn young.. was this just another of those cases where 'gods' or 'goddesses' made appearances on Earth to fix the wrong to right- huh. So, the hindu gods were still... active, huh? 'Cause that blue chick was downright hot. Jax never really commented on girls based on their looks- but there wasn't any other word for that chick lady, goddess thing. She was exotic and downright hot.
Okay. Right. He was being rediculous- all that crap his ma talked about was just crap. It wasn't true. Hell to the freakin' no. Alright then, movin' onto theory two. He'd fallen asleep to Kings of Leon and just imagined this whole thing up- ye, hallucination seemed like a pretty good explanation- so that should mean that if he pinched himself- it wouldn't hurt. Right? Wrong Ohhh man, that hurt. Freak it, don't pinch so hard next time. he noted mentally, his eyes fixed at the enterance to the garage. It took him a second to remember that he hadn't actually been paralyzed- and did have full control over his muscles. He turned his neck to look at the car out of which the blue... female (that seemed like a safe noun for now) had gotten out of. There were more people in there- thankfully not Blue. Jax rolled down his window, popping his laptop and iTouch on the seat besides him, and poppin' his head out.
"Was that... girl who just danced out.. blue?!" He called out towards the rest of the non-blue people who were yet to leave the Garage.

"Mother a GOD!" Slamming his foot on the brake the of newly extended Saturn Sky, Sheldon cranked the wheel and slid the car to a halt slightly sideways in the street. Standing there, dancing in the street was a beautiful- NO, The MOST Beautiful Blue Woman he'd ever seen. Strike that, since he'd never actually seen a blue woman, but he'd fantasized in many colors and she had em all beat -HANDS DOWN-!!
"Sorry kiddies, but I think there's a law about hot dancing blue babes having the right of way."
He threw the car into park and leaned out to take a long drink of the sexiest blue legs and all they carried above them. "Hey, nice moves. I'm guessing this is the right place for my little brother and these two stow aways. I'm gonna drop em off, but I will definitely be back for you. What's your name gorgeous?" He said in his college-slick, seen it all done it all, sorta way.

Jocelyn didn't bother to keep the Cheshire cat grin from her face at the sight of the older guy and his cute little lines. She loved the attention, and she really loved the disappointment that came over guys when they found out she preferred soft carpet to hard wood. Nonetheless, she flirted with everyone just for the fun of it. "Ok, smooth, but coulda been better," Joce said and winked at him with a laugh. "See the way to do it, is you come up to the girl and you introduce yourself first. Then you give her a compliment, which hey you did wonderfully with the 'gorgeous' bit, so keep that up." She bit her lip slightly and then continued.
"And then, if you really wanna score big, you do this." She grabbed his hand, bringing it close to her lips and making a sultry look cloud her bright blue eyes. "Looking at your beauty and the vivacious spirit that shines around you makes think I have died and gone to heaven. Now I see I am very much alive and heaven has been brought to me. I am in no way worthy of knowing the name of a beautiful creature like yourself, but if you grant me that knowledge, my life will finally feel worthwhile to live." She placed her bright pink lips against his knuckles in a kiss, keeping the sultry look in her eyes before the smirk broke out on her face and she dropped his hand.
"And that, is how you ask a hot chick you just met for her name, and are most likely guaranteed a phone number at the same time," Jocelyn said with wink before she laughed, looking up at sky as she saw the shadow of the winged horse that was now coming closer. "Ain't that right Dane? You need smooth moves to pick up a hot chick, especially if she's blue, we're high in demand you know." The Cheshire cat grin was back on her face as she tossed her hair. "But you tried, takes balls to do it that way. My name's Jocelyn, but I have no objections to you calling me gorgeous." Jocelyn laughed and gave him a cute wink before looking back at Dane, watching him land.

"You know what," Sheldon said opening the car door and getting out in a deliberate fashion. "I believe I would like a 'do over'. They still grant those don't they? I mean you look to be a woman of refinement and if I didn't know any better refined women understand the stumblings of men when in their presence. Plus I think not hitting you with the car ought to grant me a little bit of leeway."
He grinned as he shut the car door gently but firmly behind him and stepped up to face this Jocelyn creature, demure and yet devilish all at once, at a distance of a heart beat. Taking her hand in his he brought it up to his lips to just brush her knuckle across them before nodding slightly. "You have the most beautiful eyes. My apologies for missing my introduction. My name is Sheldon, and a greater pleasure I've never known than to make your acquaintance." College and a minor in literature had done him well, his slick he set aside for his well mannered and polished as he never let his eyes drift away from hers. A sure sign of respect.
There was something about her though, he couldn't put his finger on it but he was wondering what it was. Might be her age, might be her hue, but for one thing or another he was not quite sure he had cracked this nut yet so he played his cards close to his chest. "Can you forgive me?" It was only then that he let his eyes drift to the sky above as a shadow passed over them all for the briefest of moments. "What in the world...?" His eyes beheld a sight he'd only read about and never truly believed anyway, at least, not until now. "Is that..?"

A smile lifted Mato's lips as he got out of the car to take their first look back at him, and in addition to that a new face, he watched with interest at the large eel swimming around him, shined with curiosity at his surroundings. "She is indeed blue, but I think she prefers to be called Jocelyn," he said looking back at the blue beauty, entrancing yet another individual. He opened the trunk of the car to take his bag out, as well as the camping equipment.
As he moved to put away the camping equipment, Mato glanced back at the boy with the eel swimming around the boy in interest. The Eel stood for Defiance and the Rebellion, as well as the ability to absorb information and skills at a fast rate. They were very confounding creatures, and very prideful as well. "Ariel, I think you can have your car back now, no more panicking," he said with a sidelong glance at his teammate, smiling a little at how paranoid she had been about Jocelyn driving her car.
Mato put away the camping equipment, stopping for a moment to take a deep breath of the place that became his home away from home. There was a so much chaos and so much life in one building, a large variety of people that from the look of the boy by the expensive car, was growing day by day. It was truly an experience for Mato to be here, and he treasured every moment of it.
"She truly entrances everyone she meets doesn't she?" Mato said to Shade after he got out of the car. He stopped to look at Jocelyn with Dane and the others that came up. She was truly a wonderful and a fascinating individual with so much life and spirit to her that it drew everyone toward her instantly. Mato considered himself privileged to have spent the weekend getting to know her, and seeing who she was on the inside as well.

In the sky above them, descending.."It's true, Jocelyn! Oh, but what's this..?" Dane called down. "A valiant second attempt at a first impression?" He glided his winged stallion Strider to alight there in the midsts of them all. "I don't know how this is gonna play out, but I am actually quite curious to see. He smiled and lifted his helmet from his head to cradle it in the crook of his left arm as he unburdened himself of his bag with his right. With a thud the bag hit the pavement and a sigh of relief sounded from Dane as he slid from the saddle of his mount. Before the children in the car realized it there he was standing right in front of them in flesh and blood, the Avenger, The Black Knight. He patted the flank of his ivory colored steed with a firm hand and began to check him over. Reaching into his bag he produced a treat, a beautiful shiny apple. He didn't like to over indulge in the treats but it had been a good pace that Jocelyn set with the mustang so he felt Strider deserved it. As was his custom he used his dagger to slice a piece of apple off for his winged friend and then one for himself. "Mmm good huh?" The animal clumped a hoof on the pavement as he threw his head back in a nod. "Yeah, that'll wet your whistle. Here ya go." He sliced him another.

"Joce'll twist it like she likes, little blue minx she is. Now she needs to give me my keys," Ariel grumbled as she got out of her car next and saw Dane land. As much as she loved her car, any other seat but the driver's seat was useful for other things that didn't include her just sitting there for a whole car ride. When they got pulled over, she nearly had a coronary and was going to kill Jocelyn had she not gotten them out of it. She flipped her hair with a huff and smirked slightly. There was a new kid in the garage that she didn't know, so she could only assume they were the next wave of new kids that had come to the school in the group's absence, especially with the group around the other car Jocelyn was talking to.
Wordlessly, she came up behind Jocelyn, smirking. "Okay, Gorgeous, gimme my keys," Ariel said, running a hand slowly over the blue girl's hip to be funny before sticking her hand into the front pocket of her shorts and plucking out her keys. She jingled them, grinning. "Thanks so much," she said before sticking them securely in her own pocket and put her hand over it, feeling better now that she had them back. Not having them and not being able to drive her own car was really very irksome, and now she'd be fine and dandy. She walked over to Mato and smirked.
"Didn't know you enjoyed the smell of the garage. It's not really one of those smells you'd enjoy, although I gotta say I love the smell of gasoline. And now, vacation is over and it's back to reality. I wonder what we missed. Just wait till you see what kind of zoo this is, Dane, you're gonna wonder what happened to the cages," she half joked with a laugh, looking over to the knight treating his horse and smirking slightly as she moved to the trunk to start unloading the bags the group of them had packed to last them the weekend.

Max glanced over the top of his sunglasses at the winged horse as though it was no big deal. The truth was, Max had drawn plenty of things similar for his parents’ amusement. Smaller maybe, but he wasn’t easily excitable and he wasn’t about to get worked up over it. It was Jocelyn that held his attention and he scoffed at Sheldon’s over dramatic prose. It was with an artist’s keen eye that Max looked Jocelyn up and down from her shapely legs to her black hair and everything in between. He prided himself on being able to draw things of stunning beauty, but even his hand wasn’t steady enough to replicate the gorgeous blue creature that his brother was chatting up. Max doubted any human, or mutant for that matter, had that level of talent. His eyes moved between his brother, Jocelyn, and the guy that had just dismounted the flying horse. Max tapped his pen thoughtfully on his knee as he listened to Jocelyn explain the need for valiant romance and smirked, popping the cap off his marker and pressing the tip to his jeans. His work took only a few moments and Max got out of the car, scowling down at his shoes as he walked to stand beside Sheldon. He pressed his sunglasses higher up his nose. No one seemed to have a problem with blue women or flying horses, but he wasn’t sure if his own little peculiarity would be so easily accepted. It still unnerved him sometimes. Without a word, he cleared his throat to get Jocelyn’s attention and held out the small token he had drawn into existence. A rose, as blue as the denim it had been drawn on, was gripped gently in his hand. He passed it to her quietly and leaned back against the hood of the car.

Jocelyn's giggling from being tickled by Ariel stopped when another boy that looked a lot like Sheldon came up and gave her the most unique blue rose she had ever seen. "My, my," She brought the rose to her face to sniff it. She looked up at the boy that handed her the rose and a slow grin came on her face. "See Sheldon, had you copied what he did just then and given me a rose along with your pretty words, you would have been golden. Girls are suckers for flowers you know, and a pretty rose that's my one of their favorite colors, how did you guess?" Jocelyn winked at the boy and brought the rose back to her lips, brushing it against them. "Makes them just melt in your hands, in some cases literally if you're lucky." Joce giggled and walked over to the boy that gave her the rose.
She stood in front of him, one hand on her hip as the other hand twirled the rose in her fingers. "Any guy that gives a girl a rose deserves a face to face introduction. Now you wouldn't deny me that pleasure would you? My name is Jocelyn." She took his hand and gave him her famous sexy smirk and wink combo, lacing her fingers with his before leading him over to Dane and Strider. Jocelyn caught the look on Dane's face and winked at him as well while putting the rose in her hair, if only to let her know she was just having some fun with the boys, and she knew Dane was probably as tickled by it as the rest of her friends.
"Hey there Strider, how you holding up sweetheart?" Joce cooed to the pretty animal and tickled his soft muzzle with her free hand for a moment before turning to the boy who she brought over. "Now I know they are nowhere near as fabulous as me," She laughed lightly at that before going on. "May I present, the Black Knight and his loyal and very lovely steed!" Jocelyn bit back a giggle at the look on Dane's face. "Oh get off it Dane, you know there is no one handsomer than you in my eyes. Although this guy here DID just give me a rose..." She tapped her lips thoughtfully as she played around with them. "You never gave me a flower. For shame Dane."
Jocelyn wagged her finger at him playfully before grinning at the new boy. "So now that you showed up your friend, or are you two related or something? You look alike, but anyways, is he the only one there that you showed up? Cause that was totally suave and smooth," she said with a giggle, looking between all of them.

Were people talking? Dor had no idea. He couldn’t hear anything over the noise. The restaurant had been bad enough, but this place… there were inanimates everywhere, all of them talking a mile a minute, singing, shouting, yodeling, or some variation there upon. Eyes wild behind his glasses, Dor grit his teeth and slammed his hands over his already plugged ears. It didn’t do much good. Every key, car, tool, bike, and radio was combing with the muffled, indignant shrieks of the things in their luggage and the camping gear that was being unloaded from the garage.
Helloooooo? My tires need more air!
Quit stomping all over me. Stupid kids!
Like a bat outta hell I’ll be gone when the morning comes…
Righty tightie. Lefty loosey!
At that moment Dor would have killed for a sedative right between the eyes. Ms. Frost had assured his family that he wouldn’t be so affected by the mansion’s inanimates, but they were causing enough ruckus to make him squeeze his eyes shut. He was going to miss out on everything just because of his stupid ability. “Shut up, shut up, shut up!” So much for a good first impression.

“Max.” He introduced himself with a gentle press of his lips to the back of her blue hand. He might have been locked away for three years but, like Sheldon, Max had an inherent way about him. Max just wasn’t as big a talker. Even with the beautiful blue woman holding to his hand he wasn’t going to start babbling. No point in overwhelming her with a bunch of words that wouldn’t matter. Anyhow, he was a take action sort of guy. Hence the rose. Shame that it would vanish when he walked too far away from her, but it had made her happy and that was the point.
He followed Jocelyn uncertainly and stood by casually while she introduced him to Dane and Strider. He nodded respectfully, positive that he was supposed to know who this guy was and frowning slightly that he didn’t. He wasn’t exactly up to date on current events.
“Yeah, Sheldon is my brother,” he said, voice gruff. “Dunno about those two. Picked’m up in town.” Max glanced at the kid curled up in the backseat, hands over his ears, and shook his head.
Honestly, some people had no idea how to be have in public.

Unwanting, despising the mother's punishment yet craving it, knowing again that retribution would come upon, lovingly, harshly, cruelly, and with little hesitation, the punishment for missing practice they faced as one. Climbed out The SHADE from alongside the best, to have the munchies with friend, a miscreant could have. "Burns wouldja look at that." Amusement and disgust painted his tone for in both had his words been brushed and dappled. The tickle from Jocelyn had come, the dour from the rabble as before her groveling and in such shallow a puddle was she playing. His thrall was practicing that which he had taught her well and in time she would have her own play things a many and as varied as her tastes should be yet for all she could claim what a sorrowful lot. Practice he told himself to quell the disappointment at what she was wasting herself on.
Knowing SHE knew he had returned as She knew all that occurred within her realm the shadowed one strolled slouching, thoughts growling, at the pain he would endure. Ahh but the pleasure in it he took much and a grin so thoroughly more Grinchy than Cheshire curled his lips at the dance those thoughts did in the darkness of his mind, crave the punishment ache for it he did. The Queen in White, contrast to her heart, a match for his own indeed was the fantasy he fed, as looked on watching with a discerning eye his cobalt thrall dance her dance of seduction, entwined he could have sworn Ariel was becoming.
Yesss, if that one let herself go... Yesss. the sound of his haunting, his darkness, spoke the thoughts and they were his own. "Hmm, yeah." The utterance a hush, answered to his own mind.. or the other? Was there another? Another it might not be and yet how perfectly convenient to safeguard the flesh, foist blame upon the entity he became, from out of within and then gone again whence flesh once more he became.
To the Brave a pat- slapped firm on his back, of affection the closest Shade showed. A nod to the Knight, the greatest of Thank You's it was. In the closeness of his passing by the hard edged Amazon "Go for it" he taunted her, encouragement or challenge- a challenge of encouragement perhaps. Lastly to the girl he had shared himself with cast he his eyes then, catching hers with his own.. spider to fly. No words were spoken, none would he need for she knew her place. As she had chosen it for herself, her place in his world, to be twisted and made to serve.. his desires in pain, oh and the pleasure it brought her.. and more for she knew his burden, had seen his soul. The smudge that had rubbed off on her from this wooded respite and foray into evil showed now in her eyes, of that he did see.
His back then he turned, his gait slow and plodding. The itch crawled up in his skin. He needed her anger, her vilest emotions cast as flowers to a bullfighter in his Danger Room arena. A slow plodding walk, and any who followed would be lost in the mist as to SHADE he became and drifted low up the road winding.

Right. That dude was... creepy. Yeah. Creepy seemed like a good word. Jax shook his head, lookin' over at the Native-American lookin' guy and giving him a nod of thanks for confirming that he hadn't been hallucinating.
Jax couldn't help but find himself utterly amused at the sight of all the two guys around the Blue Girl. Okay, she was hot- but damn, they had ta learn to just hold it in'.. keep it in their pants, whatever. But hey- that was the last thing Jax wanted to be thinking about. Now when The Black Knight, The Black freakin' Night, had landed outside the garage. For a second there Jax thought he'd imagined this whole thing up- including the conformation from the Native American. This all seemed pretty damn bizzare- but that's when he remembered he was at a mutant school. Bizzare was... bound to be expected.
Jax jumped outta his Byugatti Veyron, and made it to the group in four swift strides. "Damn, where on earth- or rather how on Earth did ya manage to get THE BLACK KNIGHT to come here with you?!?!" Jax practically grew up knowing this guy's name. He was a legend- shifting between Earth and Camelot and helpin' the Avengers out loads o' times. Jax admired this guy like hell! "Man, this is an honour!" Jax's hands were in his pockets- he didn't know what you did when you met a legend who sorta shifted between dimentions. Did you shake his hand- did ya give him a bow? What?
"Oh man this is cool!" Jax turned his body a bit to look at the Blue Chick who seemed to know this guy well- "No seriously, where did you find him?" Jax blinked at her twice before lookin' over at the Black Knight himself. "Oh man, Is that... that's Strider. Damn, he's a beauty." Jax was - not that he was ready to admit it - afraid of going forward to touch the horse while the Knight was still so close to him. It was just one of those things you didn't do in Jax's opinion. "Daaaaamn."
