Jalapeño Poppers with a dose of Action

It had been a rather busy morning for Maddy, since most of it was spent on the phone trying to get her school to send all her records from her education instead of the ones from only when she started high school. The Louisiana School System was a mess, with records lost all over the place after Hurricane Katrina several years back. It took two hours on hold and several emails before she got a confirmation that all her records were sent over to the school. She finished just as lunch started thank goodness, and now to relax from her hectic morning, Maddy decided to relax in the rec room with some of her homemade 'Hushpuppies' or Jalapeño Poppers as most people call them filled with cream cheese and her famous homemade hot sauce that she made while on hold with the principal of her old high school.

With 'Fast and the Furious' popped in the DVD player, Maddy was spread out across the couch with her plate of hushpuppies in front of her while having a good time drooling over Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Vin Diesel's smooth, deliciously sexy voice could melt a brick wall and Paul Walker's incredible eyes and bad boy look was a favorite of her's. She loved action movies, and despite the bad reviews some of the movies got, she loved all the 'Fast and Furious' movies. Her light green eyes lit up as she watched Dom hunched over the car and working on the engine, making her shift in her seat from the tingles she got watching a man work on a car.

Maddy barely knew the front end from the back end when it came to cars or any vehicles, but there was something about watching a guy work on one that set a burst of attraction in her brain, and at that moment her eyes were glued to the television as she dipped a hushpuppy in her flaming hot sauce that could melt the paint off walls before popping it in her mouth. A happy sigh escaped her mouth as she stared at the television in slight bliss, shifting in her favorite ripped jeans with chains sewn everywhere. As much as she loved them, they didn't make it so comfortable to lie about it, but Maddy didn't care. She loved her style, the punk/metal head style was always something she liked because she could make it her own, with her flower and stylistic tattoos all over her that looked almost too girly to be on her, but they worked for her and she couldn't complain.

She stretched out across the couch as the got to the racing again, her torn off the shoulder 'System of a Down' shirt riding up and she felt the breeze from the open window against the bare skin of her stomach before tugging her shirt down and grabbing another of her delicate treats. Maddy knew her peace would be short lived, but she would be damn well enjoying it while she could.

"... You have got to stop staring me like that, chicka." Jax said, giving Joce a slightly frightened look. She was giving him the Joce glare again, but this time it wasn't the you are such a freakin' ass kinda look, it was more the you freakin' genius types, and however much Jax appreciated the ego boost, Joce staring at him like that with her mouth hanging open, all the way down the corridor was starting to get a little creepy. He was still gettin' over the fact that she was freakin' blue, but to have her giving him that look... it just didn't fit the bill. He ought to be starin' at her with his jaw hanging open- wanting to worship her n' all. He was pretty damn sure his ma would've expected him to do that.

The duo'd met up as Jax'd started on his way away from French Class, and were now headed towards the kitchen in hope of grabbing Jax some food- because hell, that lunch had sure taken a load of energy out of him and he needed food. Like, lots of it. And he needed it now. He probably would take better to Joce's super-amazed look better once he had some food in him- now that he was away from Ana, the hunger'd really started to bug him, and man he wasn't the kinda guy who was used to having to stall his meals. "I told you chicka, I dunno how the hell I did that- and yes she was competely clothed throughout Lun- woah d'you hear that?! Oh eff the sound- do you smell that?!"

Jax'd come to an abrupt halt outside the Rec Room, where he coulda sworn he could hear the music from The Fast and Furious and smell some freakin' awesome food. Without thinkin' twice on it, he grabbed Joce's hand and dragged her in with him, staring shamelessly at the Hot Red Head who was sprawled across the Sofa. She had a real edgy look to her and the whole street smart thing going- on any other day, he would've appreciated this girl a little more- but right now, any girl just looked flat out plain compared to Ana in his mind. "Hey there chicka-" Jax grinned at her, stopping right behind her. "I'm here to make you a deal RockChick. This blue babe and myself will keep ya seriously entertained while watching one of my all time favourite movies, if you let me steal your food because damn that smells freakin' great- and I swear I could eat a whole cow right now- " Jax rolled his eyes, his stomach rumbling right on cue. "Mind ya, I'd be damned if I did eat the cow, but you see how damn starved I am?"

Jocelyn's mouth dropped open again, but this time for an entirely different reason. "Wow, girl you are gorgeous. How did I not meet you before?!" she said with a giggle and pushed Jax aside so she could sit next to her. So far there were three chicks in the school that really made her mouth drop open: Ana, the Goddess in Leather, and now this girl. Jocelyn's cerulean blue eyes lit up as she scanned her newest addition to her collection of eye candy, eyes roaming over the killer built stomach that peeked from the tattered punk shirt. The tattoos sealed the deal for her, Joce was a sucker for ink on girls. When she went back to Atlantis this summer, Uncle Namor promised her that she could have some Atlantean markings place on her skin, but until then she was just loving how it looked on other girls.

"I'm Jocelyn, and you can totally ignore him right there, he's a taken man now," Joce said with a teasing grin at Jax as she shook the girl's hand. "Actually I think we should both be honored that he's even here and talking to us. Somehow he detached himself from Hottie Long Leg's lips! Seriously three miracles in one day!" She threw her head back and laughed at that, the increasingly annoyed look on Jax's face was priceless. 'Seriously the fact that she even spoke to you was a shocking enough, the fact that she didn't throw you out the nearest window was a damn miracle, but the fact that you spent the last several hours just making out has to be an act of one of the Gods!" Jocelyn said with a grin, shaking her head in disbelief. She didn't know how Jax pulled it off, but somehow he did it and now was dating a chick that looked like she wanted to rip his nuts off just a couple of hours earlier. That, even Joce had to admit took some serious skill.

"Mmm now this is a girl with good tastes right here, and I ain't just talking about that hot little bit of ink you got on your stomach there Honey," she said her eyes falling down to the sexily defined abs that peeked out. "I love this movie. Fast cars, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez, that's all I need to be happy." Joce made herself comfortable on the couch next to the girl, watching with interest at the scene of Jordana Brewster in that sexy little outfit. Her eyes traveled back to the hot metal punk chick, the her invting sculpting thighs leading to shapely calves was a feast for her eyes before they went back to her cute face. "You're not Maddy by chance are you? Gavin was raving about the jambalaya you made for the Cookout. I'm sorry I missed it. Said you got a hot accent too," she added with a wink.

"Dat would be meh, nice t'meet yah," Maddy said with a grin, sitting up and making room for both of them on the couch. "Please help yahrselves, Ah made plenty of 'em. Ah warn yah though, dat sauce is probably de spiciest yah'll evah have." She slathered an entire hushpuppy in them and popped it in her mouth, smirking at them both in challenge. Her eyes drifted over to Jocelyn with a grin coming on her face at her flirtations. "Dey warn'd meh t'be careful of yah Miz Jocelyn, said yah were one terrible flirt an' good at it t'top it all," she said with a laugh and winked. "Righ' on both counts s'far." Try as she might, there was no way she could keep a straight face after that. Maddy loved to flirt and play along in games, and she was damn good at that too.

"An' Ah heard 'bout yah dere, Hot Lips," Maddy said with a teasing smirk looking over at the tall really handsome dark skinned guy. "Yah'll were de talk of lunchtime. All Ah kept hearin' 'bout is how yah manag'd t'get de high an' might an' mighty model wit' a hellfire temper t'pin yah right t' the wall. Jax, am Ah right?" The look on his face confirmed it and she giggled again, as she heard the whole story from a very shocked Ricki and Gavin all through lunch. Personally, Maddy had just given the guy mad game points, but now that she had a face to go with the name she could understand why some chick would pin him to a wall.

"If yah'll want, Ah made some gumbo las' night an' dere should still be leftov'rs in de fridge. It came out real nice even though Ah ain't got the same kinda meat like Ah got at home. Alligator meat makes it much betta' but pork, shrimp, and scallops work jus' as well wit' de right spices," Maddy said lookin' at the hungry look on Jax's face. "So Ah take it yah worked up an apetite from lunch? Ah neve' got whay men get so hungry after a... well we'll go with after a moment of passion. Bah de way Chere, yah got some lip gloss still on yarh neck. Might wanna wipe dat off." She knew she was teasing him, but she couldn't pass up a golden opportunity even though he seemed to be getting a mouthful from Jocelyn as well.

"Aw damn! Don't tease me right now chicka, I am hungry!" Jax shook his head, his face resembling a child, who didn't have any presents on Christmas Day. Without really saying anything more, his hands grabbed one of whatever it was that Maddy had, and he dipped it in the sauce and hungrily shoved it in his mouth, dropping to the floor in satisfaction as the food made it's way down his throat. "Oh man, Maddy- right? Damn, this stuff is amazing. Like, seriously, chicka- what is this stuff? Oh man the spice just makes it soooo much better." Jax was genuinely relishing the spicy flavour of the sauce along with the amazing flavours that were coming out of whatever the hell this thing was. "I'm indian chicka, this sauce tastes like heaven to me." He winked at Maddy, grabbing another one of whatever this thing was and shoving it in his mouth, chewing it in silence- 'cause hell he didn't have the energy to speak and eat right now.

This food was so epic, he couldn't disrespect it by speaking whilst eating it. "Oh man..." Jax sighed deeply, eating some more. "This is just... freakin' genius. Hey, Joce, unless you can cook like this one here, I'm sorry, but she'll probably rank just about the same as you on my list man. She just gains so many poitns for being able to cook like this." Jax shook his head, turning around on the ground so he faced both the girls in the room with him. "Man, I never did see myself being the topic of gossip at any school," he mused, geniunely amused at the fact that the word had spread like wildfire, and people who had no clue as to who he actually was, probably knew his name and his great achievement.

"Well, you got the name down, chicka. Jaxon Chande." He grinned lazily at her, taking some more of the amazing food. He looked over at Joce, who literally looked like her Birthday'd come early. "Atleast you don't have to worry about competition anymore Jocey-pie," he said chuckling, winking at the Acolyte. "Seeing as, I'm all taken now, you got dibs on the rest of the lovely ladies out here. Mind you Maddy, I haven't seen her this wow'd by any o' the other chicks down here, except Ana yet. You better watch out," He winked at Maddy too, before his eyes fell back on the plate of food she was holding which was pretty much nearly wiped clean. Unable to help himself, Jax reached out and grabbed some more of the food, shoving it in his mouth.

"Well of course I'm gonna be wowed by her, look at her she's freaking hot! And that edgy kinda bad ass hot and everything, but then that gorgeous smile just makes it like the best picture. A girl's smile is almost as important as her legs. Almost," Jocelyn said with a laugh and smirked at Maddy, giving her a once over again. The girl was not only hot, she had a really chill demeanor and a level of class, and Joce liked it. She loved the bad girl thing too, kind of like her Goddess in Leather had it down, but she did it with class and an air of sophistication, which made it all that much sexier. This girl looked the part, but wow what a smile.

"And just cause I don't have to worry about competition, doesn't mean you won't have to," Joce pointed out with a grin at the look on his face. "Ana is fiiinnne and I mean fiiiiinnnnee. Dreads was all but drowning in his drool looking at her, as was I but hey you're my friend so I'll do you the favor of backing off." She winked at Jax and laughed, eyes trailing between him and the movie. "Come on Mads, you know what I mean right? I mean you seen his girl she's like wow stunning. I swear I've seen her somewhere before, and it will come to me one of these days. But yea she's tall and wow what a pair of gams she's got on here. And not all guys are cool enough to back off when a girl has a chick, especially one that looks like your girl," Jocelyn pointed out and let out a mock sigh of turmoil.

"We're here for you my friend," She patted his shoulder and grinned at Maddy, winking at her. "So tell me gorgeous, what do you think of our little school here so far? Is it just oodles of fun? I mean I know it's like a feast with all the lookers around here. Just look at Jax here, prime example," Jocelyn said with a laugh and poked his muscled arms.

"Aw c'mon Cher, look at his face, yahr makin' de po' darlin' get all riled up now," Maddy said with a giggle looking at Jax's face. "Ah like it here jus' fine, an' de view yah get is really nice... on a lotta angles." Her eyes instinctively went to Jax, but not that she could be blamed. He was extremely handsome, and had the cocky nature that she had an attraction toward, just like that Riker and Gavin. That's why she found it odd how drawn she was to Jasper for one with his brooding and sullen nature, but Maddy was never one to question these things.

"It's a bit crazy, Ah ain' gonna lie. Dat cookout on Saturday was somethin' else. Dat Ice girl sure ain' got any good joo-joo 'bout her." She shook her head, thinking about how the only reason that she wasn't iced was because of Niki's forcefield. She really liked her when they first met, and for the life of her she couldn't understand why others didn't. Yea she was a bit on the rough side, but she seemed real cool when you looked past all that, and Maddy was jealous like nothing else of her crazy white ice eyes, those were just awesome.

"Neither does dat Hellion, dhough he seem t'like yahr bebe a whole lot. It funny Ah actually thought dat de two a'dem were together, had his arm 'round her an' she was gigglin' an' smilin'." Though she was saying in a teasing tone, she was actually quite serious and until lunch today she had thought that the tall pretty model was with the crazy handsome and good looking guy that everyone seemed to tense up tighter than than a sailor's knot when he was in the area.

"Yah'll wait right dere Ah'll bring yah'll a bowl a'dat gumbo. Dis boy worked up one hell a'an appetite an' Ah know yah'll love mah gumbo," Maddy said standing up and heading to the kitchen really quick. "Southern hospitality works in de North too." She would be back in a flash with two steaming bowls of gumbo.
