Isn't there a limit to how paranoid a girl can be?

"Ana, STOP!" Jax howled, reaching out and grabbing Ana's elbow, pulling her to a stop. He kept his arm tight around her slender arm, although he made sure that he wasn't hurting her at all. "Honestly! Will you just listen to me?!" He sighed, glaring down at the dark haired beauty. He hadn't ever worked this hard to try to explain himself to a girl before. Normally if they assumed sh*t about him, he just let them think whatever and got on with it- but something about this girl just wouldn't let him rest in peace until he was sure she wasn't mad at him. He didn't know how long this eagerness to prove himself to her would last- but while it did, he knew he just had to make sure that she wasn't all pouty cause of him. "I swear, the Ceremony was just real wow- thats why I was staring for the most of it! I've never seen anything that intense before- it was just a real cool thing, honest!"

They need to put a freaking limit to how many times someone can get pissed off within a day. He stared down at her, desperate for her to stop being so mad at him. Okay, so yes- he was staring at the hot Leather Clad chick who was codenamed Ember for the beginning of the ceremony, and he had to have food chucked right at him to peel his eyes away from Ember, but in all fairness, who in the world could blame him?! Jax was a guy for crying out loud- and one would suspect his manhood if he didn't go all drool-face and star-eye'd over the hot new X-Man.. Woman.. Goddes... Diva. "OK, so I was looking at Ember for the first of if- NO! You can't be mad at me for that chicka! Honestly, tell me one guy who wouldn't be stunned when he saw her for the first time!" Jax sighed, not wanting to lie to Ana, but desperate to try to make her see the way he was thinking.

Rolling her eyes, Ana crossed her arms and glared at Jax, sculpted eyebrows raised pointedly with the expression on her face less than happy, her classic scowl. "Oh that make me feel SO much better. Stare at her one thing, but you were close to drowning in your own drool. Ass," she said glaring up at him. She was damn pissed and had every right to be so since her boyfriend of all of only a couple of hours nearly went into a comatose state when he saw the fire wielder. "You seriously are standing there and tell me that I have no right to be pissed because my boyfriend was drooling over another girl? Do you listen to yourself?"

She threw her hands in the air and shook her head. "You gave me such a look when I come to dinner with Romon and you look like you were ready to hit something when I tell you about dancing in French class, and yet I cannot be mad with you for staring and drooling over another girl? You must be joking badly again!" Ana yelled and put her hands on her slim hips. "Well I so sorry I not good enough for you that you have to go and look at other girls!" She poked him in the chest and gave him an icy glare as she stared up at him.

"Next time you want to go make out in closet, go find your precious Ember and ask her! It bad enough you hang out with blue girl who half naked all the time and hang all over you, and then with me right there you drool like mentally retarded ass over another girl! Please tell me, how am I not to be mad about that?!" Ana yelled getting in his face as she always did when she was pissed at him.

Jax looked incrediously at Ana, his face inching closer towards hers as his eyes glared into hers. "Firstly, you can not compare me being pissed with that Romon guy to you being mad at me for Ember! That guy was all touchin' you and close to you in a freakin' romantic setting, and you ain't stupid enough not to have noticed the way he looks at you!" Jax was yellin' right back at her, his voice more a growl than anything else. He didn't get how him simply looking at Ember compared to that guy dancing with his girl. It was no where near the same! "I was just looking at Ember, and that was because it was the first time I saw her- and hell you don't have to be a guy to notice she's easy on the eyes!"

Jax pulled her closer by her arm, not leaving much space between the two of them. "Secondly, I don't see why you have any issues with Joce! I mean, she's the last person on this planet that you need to be jealous of!" Jax was honestly a little confused at Ana mentioning Joce in this conversation- after all, even though she was a total diva when it came to looks, it wasn't like she was going to make a move on Jax, and anyone who knew Jax would know within the first few minutes of meeting him, that Jax didn't bother with things that he wasn't going to gain results he wanted out of.

"And Finally, I don't want to make out with Ember in the god damn freaking closet!" he clenched his jaw, not breaking eye contact for even a split second as he stared his girlfriend unblinking in the eye. He was just looking at her, for crying out loud. It wasn't like he'd hit on her or anything. "You need to get your head around the fact that it's you I like! Despite whatever you're thinkin' chicka, I don't kiss every girl I think is attractive. I think you're god damn beautiful, and I don't think I've ever liked a girl within just two days of meetin' her!" His glare hardened, but much to his surprise, his voice, in contrast, softened as he said the next few words. "I may think other girl's are easy on the eyes chicka," he said, his volume lowering a considerable lot, "but they honesty have nothin' on ya. I just don't see any reason for you to be jealous!"

Taking in a short deep breath, Ana let it out in a small huff, matching Jax's glare with her own. "Yes, you really make me feel sooo beautiful and special when you stare and literally drool over other girl!" she yelled in his face, biting her lip as she brought her arms to her sides, ignoring the way the closeness made her feel, which was pretty easy considering she was mad at him. "And it even better that you let blue girl with only half her clothes on hang all over you and flirt and do that giggle and just UGH! I not think that you are someone who like that kind of act."

Ana turned her head now, refusing to look at him as her face scrunched up angrily. "I not jealous. I think it sickening that you kiss me early and already claim me for your girlfriend, and then you not only have near brain stroke at sight of another girl right in front of me, but you let Jocelyn touch you and giggle and flirt and you think it nothing?" Her icy blue eyes turned back to look at his with a matching glare and poked him in the chest again. "You may no like that Romon dance with me, but I not act like fool for any other guy and I not let some guy flirt and hang all over me, and NO Romon not do that, he a perfect gentleman, unlike you!"

Glaring at him for another moment, Ana began to struggle against his grip, the closeness now bothering her more than it did before they kissed earlier. "You are ass, your first reaction to her was a puddle of drool and mind go blank and with me, first thing you did was make fun of me. That really makes me feel so bloody great. You really know how to charm a girl," she spat sarcastically, refusing to look up at him as she tried to pull away.

"Look at me Ana- No! LOOK at me!" Jax's hand let go of her arm, and both his hands found their way to either side of her face, forcing her head up to look at him. There was barely any space left in between them, and for once, it wasn't really intentional on Jax's part. His dark eyes were glaring down into her baby blue's, dancing with some real confusion. "Joce does not flirt with me!" Jax's eyebrow cocked up on her face. "Honestly Ana, like I said before, Joce is the freaking last person you need to be worred about! I mean- why the hell would she flirt with me?! Seriously? She's not into me... or well, my types anyway, if you know what I mean! I'm pretty damn sure nearly everyone knows that!"

He was holding back a growl at the back of his throat, sighing deeply as his blaring confused eyes, softened a little, looking more desperate than they probably had done so far. "And Ana, what is the matter with you? I can assure you, I have no intentions of chasing after Ember in the slightest. She is good looking yes- NO! Don't give me that look! I'm not going stand here and lie to you! She is good-looking," His eyes hardened momentarily as he clenched his jaw while staring at Ana, "but-" Slowly, his eyes drew away from her eyes, tracing her whole face, a genuine look of adoration flickering on his face. "you are just a damn sight more beautiful." A smirk crept it's way slowly onto his lips, his hand's in ironclasp around her face, refusing to budge for even a second.

"You look so damn beautiful even when you're mad at me-" his eyes found their way back to hers, and he sighed once again. "Honestly Ana, you got nothin' to be paranoid about. I'll tell you, that I don't really have eyes for anyone else out here, the way I got 'em for you- and I don't know what else the hell I can say that'll help convince you." He loosened his clasp around her face, although his hand's still stayed. "Ember, Joce, neither of them are anythin' you should be worried about chicka, especially not Joce."

The strong stubborn streak that Ana possessed refused for her to let up on the glare, but she did stop struggling against his hold. It was like she was mulling over everything he said, her heart still racing from the adrenaline of this fight and the argument as everything. She stayed silent for a moment as her breathing calmed down. Finally, after literally a couple of minutes on silence, did she relax in his hold and the look on her face softened. "Okay," Ana said softly and slipped her arms around his neck, resting her forehead against his bent one and enjoying the feeling of his arms coming back down on her small hips.

"We fight very much yes?" She looked up at him and giggled a little. "Maybe we better not talking." Her lips brushed against his in a light kiss, the soft touch just enough for a taste of comfort for her, even when it deepened. It was so weird that despite the fact that he made her so angry and tended to bring out her insecurities, it almost made up for how good it was when they had moments like this. "Mmm- before we have repeat of earlier, let not stay in hallway. I tell you before, I not loose," she said with a pointed look. Ana giggled at the thought that the hallway business was on the roads to becoming a habit.

"Not your room..." She bit her lip at that, smile leaving her face as she raised her eyebrows. "Riker will not like. Rec room will have people... Laundry room?" She smiled at him, hands moving from behind his neck to his biceps as she leaned back. "There couch and small TV there, we can sit... maybe try talking and not fight." Leaning up on her tip toes, Ana kissed him lightly and pulled back so she could grab his hand and tug him downstairs toward the laundry room. Not exactly the most glamorous place, but they could finally talk and maybe go more than an hour of talking without a fight.
