Straining from behind the controls as the panel before him lit up like a Christmas tree Kurt called back over his shoulder "Hold on back zhere, ve're going down!"
The gauges weren't responding the way they should, and the feel of the flight controls in his hands were off in some way. He knew he'd done the checks as he should have, as quickly as he could, and he only skipped a step or two, but they were redundant in his opinion. He swore right then and there he would do every check, and every double check, by the numbers if they could just get through this, every one of them, in one piece.
"Zhis ess gon'ta be a rough landing folks, hold onto jour breakfasts- JA!" He strained this way and that as the jet tossed against his struggles with all it's power. The sweat from Kurt's brow literally running down his face as in only a few seconds it had burst out across his entire body. He had never before seen such a complete systems failure as he was experiencing and it should have not been possible with all the back up fly by wire and Shii'ar enhanced flight systems.
Then suddenly.. all systems normalized.
"I've got eet! Oh zhank you LORD!!" Kurt called out as the Blackbird began to behave normally and he took control of the falling monster of an airplane. Thinking it best to set down right there he throttled it over to let the vertical thruster enable and he eased the spin to a halt as he set the giant black X-Jet down right there on the lawn outside the mansion.
Shutting down the engines and hitting the hatch button to open the back ramp he spun in his seat to address his passengers. "I'm sorry everyvon, I have no idea vhat just happened. I vill run a diagnostic und check zhe engines visually. Give me a few minutes eh?" He looked at Logan expecting the worst.
