Heather walked up to the foyer from the Med Lab. She was tired of being around medicine and machines. She needed to walk and thing for herself. Seeing the grand staircase, she sat on a step and stuck out her legs to get comfortable. She put her loose hair into a French braid, her new favorite look, and thought about the day's events. It was brutal and scary, most of all. However she was happy about her improving powers. She was much stronger than the Danger Room and felt a bit more confident. Plus a group of teenagers just beat the most feared organization in the world. Heather smiled at her fellow mutants and herself.
As a few minutes passed, she thought of Lorelai and Ian. As annoying it was, she couldn't help but think about what they were doing. Lorelai was probably hugging him more than she should or even kissing him. The thought made her throat dry and she couldn't help but just feel sick. But she then remembered that Lorelai just probably really needed help. She was badly burn and needed medical attention and someone to look after her for a while. Ian of course was right there, and being her friend too, couldn't resist. Lorelai wasn't ugly, and not a bad person to be friends with. When it came to Heather being her friend however, it was quite difficult to picture. She was however, able to tolerate the ice girl.
