Dr. McCoy sighed while hanging up the phone with Cyclops at the Hellion that had not shut his mouth since Ironclad had dragged him in. The young man was in a rather sorry state, and after hearing the story, Beast beamed with pride that Ember had the self control to not do what she was very well capable of doing. "Ms. Reyes, please give him a bottle of water from the fridge. I feel a rather strong headache coming on as it is," he said rubbing his forehead while watching the patched up Brock with a very unhappy Mason and Ariel beside him.
"Settle down you three. Cyclops is on his way down with HeartString, and you may discuss this with him. And Mr. Van Alstyne, do not think you are off the hook. I left a message on Emma's phone as well, it appears she is in conference," he said with a sigh and went over the the young man to check his wrappings. "Do stay still for once Rumble, I would rather you not hurt yourself more than you already are," Dr. McCoy lied convincingly while adjusting the bandages and handing him the pain medication.

Mason smacked Brock in the back of the head. "Shut the hell up. I'm not even kidding, I'm ready to put a hole in that head of yours," he muttered and sat in the chair with his arms folded as he waited for his team leader. Just freaking great. This jackass can find his own way to the city this weekend I ain't going with him. Now Fox, along with the rest of us, is gonna get her ass in trouble because this freakface didn't know how to control himself, Mason thought with a sigh.
He exchanged a look with Ariel, his dark eyes cold and hard as steel. "Get him the water bottle Reyes before I really do shoot him," he said in a hard tone and turned his eyes away from Brock and tried to calm down a bit.

Ariel had beat up the punching bag even after Mason dragged Brock's sorry ass out of the gym, but after she punched out the anger she wiped the sweat off with her towel and let her hair down, gathered her stuff and caught up with the other two to go to the med lab. When Beast asked her to get Brock a bottle of water she set her stuff down and went to the little mini fridge where the water was with an annoyed look on her face.
"I am, I am, chill out Mason," she muttered as their eyes met and grabbed a bottle, muttering under her breath in Spanish about how Brock didn't deserve to be taken care of. At least Tracy made it harder since she chose not to heal him, but now they were all going to have to face Cyclops, and that didn't brighten her mood much. She dropped the bottle in Brock's lap and sat down next to Mason. Ariel crossed her arms over her chest as she slumped grumpily in her seat.

"Aw thank you, so, SO much Ariel," Brock said obnoxiously blowing her a kiss as he laid back on the examining chair, playing with the settings on it to adjust his legs. "I'm fine Fuzzy, it's just a flesh wound. Besides you might wipe her scent off me. She smells like some kind of, I don't know but hot and tasty. Leave it!" Brock said to the Beast equally obnoxiously before he popped the pills and washed them down with water.
"I don't know why you two are so pissed off, I told you I'll take the fall. Oh joy I get to listen to Cyclops and Emma talk to me about the proper ethics of being a gentleman or take the Sensitivity class bullshit again. That stuff was a joke anyways. The Corsairs can stay perfect with their pretty pristine record and it can be all my little fault. Hell I'll even say I stuck a fork in an electric socket instead of having you throw your shit at me. I don't know if Emma would believe that though. Ah well who cares anyways? All you two will get is a rap on the knuckles for coming close to making it on Santa's naughty list. Get over it," Brock scoffed and rolled his eyes finishing the water.
"Hey Fuzzy can I get some more of that stuff for later? Feels kinda nice," he called out rather rudely to Beast, and not caring whether the goody-goodys next to him were annoyed.

Several long tedious minutes later the Headmaster arrived. In tow was Heartstring, a look on her face that defied description. "Alright Good morning everyone and I see we are off to a fine start for a Wednesday. I understand there was an incident and Heartstring has already given me her report on it, so I'll hear Rumble next."
"Tracy heal him, please. He looks like a bloody mess and Beast has better things to do with his time than have to administer to him. There's no reason he should have to be layed out when you can fix him up." he placed a hand on her shoulder. "I understand your aversion to healing him, but I don't think it's for anyone to say who deserves to be healed, alright?"
He stepped over to Brock's bedside and looked down on him and said "Now let's hear it. Tell me what went down in there." He looked at the wound and from behind his ruby quarts sunglasses there was a twinkle in his eyes. It was not from his power but from the knowledge that he had chosen wisely to trust Ember as he had and to recruit her to his team of Corsairs. "Don't spare the details either, I'm sure you wont but maybe saying it out loud will help us all to get some idea what was going through that thick head of yours. Begin!"

She looked up at him as he spoke and the words made her cringe. Heal him...not for anyone to say who deserves it...Yeah, maybe...no...NO! It is for me to say...it's my gift, my power and don't I get to say who I use it on? The struggle in her mind was one of monumental proportion. What does it mean if I don't heal him? Does it make me evil, or just rebellious....I'm standing up for Ember and...and myself. And every other woman who has found themselves in a situation, or might find themselves there...
"Uh, Cyclops.... I don't think I can do that." she said timidly at first. "I don't think I can, not with a clear conscience. I don't want him to forget what he's done, and I'm sorry but... I think it's my choice who I heal, it's my gift, my power and I...I" she looked at him. She felt the disappointment in him at her disobeying his request.
Her eyes trailed down to Brock on the table, she could feel in him a sense of disregard for the whole situation. He was almost calm and removed from the scene, and she wondered what Beast might have given him to kill the pain. "He is not even remorseful in the least! Look at him." she said. "He could care less, in fact I think he almost wants me not to heal him... as like some kind of a testament to his own.... badassedness!?! Ugh!" she changed her mind, healing or no healing it wouldn't matter to this guy it seemed. There was something seriously wrong with his head
She stepped over to the table and leaned down right into his face and said "You disgust me Brock Van Alstyne, You really do." she resigned herself to take her time with his healing because she didn't want it over and done with too fast. There might be nothing she could do about him being doped up, but if he was feeling any pain she wanted it to last as long as it could. "You are garbage.." she said to him and then looking up into Scott's glasses and seeing her own reflection she said to him "..and as far as I'm concerned Emma Frost has done a lot of good, but the repercussions of her past are yet to fully be felt." She placed her hand on Brock and began to slowly heal him.

"Oh yea Tracy, I just knew you couldn't keep your hands off me," Brock said with a smirk and put his hands behind his head. Why can't it be Hot Stuff's hands on me? That's okay, I'll live with her. freaking Mason made her a bit more fiery, I kinda like it, he thought with a malicious and nonchalant smirk before he went to look at Ol' One Eye. "Why Cyclops, you do care! And you always told me that I talk too much, well don't worry I won't stop a single detail. Hey one of you write this down so I can put it in my memoirs or something," Brock said mockingly with the same smirk on his face.
"Well sit down kiddies, you got one. So I come into the gym to workout, you know gotta keep in shape and all, and what do I see but Rictus here sparring with Hot Stuff. Naturally I decide to stay on the side and watch Rictus get his ass kicked. Watching that bird is just so damn hot. Like you see her hot little body doing all those twists and turns and jumps... god damn. Best part is how that spar ended. Hot Stuff played the seduction card with Rictus, giving him those bedroom 'Give it to me now' eyes to distract him and then takes him down. Now, me being me, that was just too hot to see. Shit I never wanted to be Rictus more then at that moment. Except I wouldn't have been a pussy about it, I'd have given her what she wanted," he said throwing a smirk at Mason.
"So naturally I took my time looking her over, and it was a damn nice sight, but I don't need to tell any of you that do I? Hell even you know what I'm talking about Cyclops, she is FINE. The way her tan skin was beading with sweat, clothes sticking to her like a second skin. And there was that little part of her bare smooth stomach that was in between the end of her shirt and the top of her pants...." A big smirk was now on Brock's face at the memory. "Well I just had to have that. So I go over to her, we got this little game you know me and her. She pretends she doesn't like it and doesn't want it but I know better, she's just like all the other birds. Anyways I got up behind her, mmmm she smells like the best kinda dessert, and I put my hand on those perfect sweet hips of hers. Well her skin was like soft as hell, so all I did was just put my thumb a little bit past the waistband, just to feel the even hotter skin underneath it, and the bird flips me over. Then this fire dagger came in her hand and she leaned over me, which was totally great cause I had a great view of her rack that were just right there for me to look at. She tells me I haven't learned my lesson so the bird gives me this nice little slash. Hurt like hell, but hey if she likes it rough I can do that too. I'm a very accommodating guy you know," Brock said nodding his head in an almost mocking way as it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Anyways so if she's gonna play it rough, I thought 'hey who am I to say no to a game.' So I get up, thank her for the lesson cause its the polite thing to do, and then tell her I got a pop quiz for her. She was getting a little too into the role, so I had to cool her down. I said to her 'Wanna know what happens when a bitch in heat needs to be cooled down?' and then I made a tiny little seismic ripple to make the ground shake, just to make a little distraction cause she's like a ninja kung fu master, and then I did just that. Popped her one with the back of my hand pretty hard. She was on the floor and got blood all over my Pops' old ring. She needed to learn her place, cause playing it rough is fun, but women gotta know who's got the upper hand. Then I get electrocuted and Hot Stuff just leaves in embarrassment and shame," he finished with the same malicious and mocking smirk and a lustful look in his eyes as the memory of Aideen on the ground in front of him flashed through his head.
Brock met Cyclops' stare evenly, not giving a shit about what the guy had to say really but relating the story since he liked thinking about it and it was funny to see the looks on everyone's faces. "So that's the story. I like to call it some really hot foreplay. But she was very bad Cyclops, tsk tsk. Not fit for a perfect little Corsair. You should make her a Hellion, she'd look good in red," Brock said with a mocking laugh before looking at his healed chest. "Aw too bad no more little souvenir from Hot Stuff. I think I may cry," he mocked with the same look in his eyes he had while he told the whole story.

Mason's eyes were cold and steely by the time that Brock finished telling his side of the story. "It's not a game you dumb piece of shit, she doesn't want anything to do with you and she left so you wouldn't be in a coma now. You are the dumbest piece of shit, I swear sometimes I think Burns is scholar next to you. Sure he tried it with her too but he learned after the first three times to stop. You're either one dumb freak or one seriously deranged and psycho freak to think that she wants anything more from you then leave her alone," he growled, resisting the urge to grab his gun and shoot his smirk off.
"You know what, I ain't apologizing for anything other than not shooting him before he laid a hand on my team member. I know I'm the Captain and I should have a better control of a situation like that, but screw it. I'm standing behind Ember on this, and behind Hotwire and Tracy. The only thing I'm pissed off about is that he doesn't have a bullet wound to add to the list of injuries," Mason said leaning over to rest his forearms on his thighs while glaring at Brock. He was so furious and disgusted his mind couldn't form any solid thoughts.

Although Ariel was pleased that Tracy was finally hardening up in her choice to heal or not, it still sucked that Brock was getting it in the end. Brock's story angered her again, and again she felt how wrong the whole thing was and how she didn't like that it had to happen to Aideen. She didn't regret hitting him with electricity, he really deserved it and it was nothing short of obvious with his story. "You and me both Mase," she said, clenching one fist against her chest so that her arm covered the small amount of electricity was surfacing around it.
After a deep breath the hidden bolts absorbed back into her hand and she cracked her neck, and then looked at Cyclops. "I don't know about you, but we think he had every single thing coming to him, so I'm not apologizing either," Ariel said, her lips pressed into a thin line. She refused to let herself get to the point of trying to electrocute him again, especially not with Cyclops right there, but it was easy to see she was just as angry as all the electronics and lights wavered for a second.

"I get it team." Scott said stoically "The simple fact is that all of you are in agreement with what Ember did, you feel she was justified. I understand that, but this is not how I want you all handling situations like this. Rumble had no right to put his hands on anyone and as I see it he was warned, probably more than he should have been, but he didn't get the message."
"I know Ember, and I know how much she will put up with something that she doesn't like. She is very clear about personal space and is very respectful, she doesn't seem your type to be quite honest." he said looking down at Brock. "Yes, she is attractive...but that does not entitle you to touch her. I'm going to be very clear with you Van Alstyne...." Cyclops was serious, he hardly ever used a person's surname, preferring to call people by their mutant code-names "...You are to stay at least ten feet from that girl. I'm issuing an order of restraint on you in the presence of all of these witnesses. Is that clear Mister!?!" He said talking at him through his teeth.
"Now..." he said looking at all of the students in the room and seeing them each as young adults now but remembering them as the children they once were "...I don't want this kind of stuff happening again. We all know Emma and her Hellions are a breed apart and that's all bad blood that should have been washed under the bridge a long time ago..." He looked at Beast and shook his head.
"I know the rest of your team has struggled with this 'change of roles' in regard to coming here and having to learn to behave in some fundamentally different ways, Rumble, but you seem dead set against changing your attitude." He squared his shoulders as he looked down at the boy on the metal table and said "Emma and myself have talked to you until we ran out of words to explain it. This is your last chance to shape up. You are a Dinosaur! A reminder of a bygone age and an embarrassment to the woman I love...Yes you know as well as any of us here that you were her finest student in the art of malicious and sociopathic behavior, but this is enough now. You're a grown man, time to act like one. Because the next time something like this comes up I am personally going to give you a 'Pop-Quiz' of my own- Get It? Sexual harassment is not on my list of tolerable behavior, understood!"
It was not a question. In fact none of what he had put forth was a question. He had said all he was going to say and there was little that could be done about what had already happened. The future was and uncharted territory and anyone could change their ways. He hoped that Brock would find the strength within himself to give it a try and let go of his attitude, he had a sinking feeling in his heart that the Hellion would not. In truth he almost feared he would have to do something to the young man that would make this school a battleground, and the Rumble's actions would split the school down the middle as easily as his powers split the earth. The battle of wills, Cyclops realized, had only just begun.

Tracy had been trying, with deep concentration, to slowly heal the slab of male chauvinist pig shit on the metal table. In so doing she had taken to concentrating on trying to heal his mind. Something she had though of a moment before had struck her as a possibility for why he was the way he was...maybe something truly was wrong with him. Maybe he had some form of brain damage or some other type of lesion or tumor or something that would be affecting his personality.
She had studied medical cases and found that it was sometimes physical trauma and not traumatic events that affected a person's ability to function within society. She knew also that there were cases of people being altered by diseases or some other ailments of the brain and she wanted to do all she could to help the guy to change.
It was true she didn't like him, she would even admit to hating him if anyone ever asked her, but there was a part of Tracy that wanted to fix everyone. To make the whole world a healthy and happy place to be. She did understand hate, but she honestly didn't allow for it in her heart of hearts, so to hate was really beyond her capacity. She could feel however, that it was an emotion that was easily with Brock's ability to access and she let it pass by her like stink from a heavily used public restroom. She tried to hold back from sensing his emotions, at least as much as she could...but it was pervasive.
Hearing Cyclops speak to him with such openness was striking. He often held back what he was feeling when he spoke, it was his way...but this time what he was feeling inside was as apparent to everyone in the room as it was to her. It was indeed a shock...especially the obvious threat. She looked on her Team Leader with different eyes, an almost newfound respect but maybe it was an unveiling of the fact that he was not simply a heroic man, but more a man who tried his best to be the hero that he needed to be.
She finished healing him, hoping she had done something to alter his mindset. She knew it was highly unlikely but she had to do all she could. To not try would have been irresponsible, and even in some respects to try was. She didn't have a right to alter someone's mind, but neither did he have a right to touch someone who didn't want him to. Tracy looked at herself differently now too, she was not beholden to anyone's moral code except her own, and this revelation scared her.

Brock still had his hands behind his head while he looked at Cyclops, not phased in the least bit by anything the guy said. The whole time he laid there laughing under his breath at everyone's reactions and the look of apparent appall on Cyclops' face. Well he wanted my side of the story he got it, Brock thought with a laugh. "Not my fault the ladies got a thing for me. Even Tracy here is taking her sweet time with her healing to keep her hands on me. Not that I blame her I mean even I have to say I'm impressive. I'll tell you what though Cyclops, I'll go with the little restraint, hell I'm all into restraints, makes things fun," he said with a malicious smirk. Yea I'll keep away from her, sure, right after I get an A in Wolverine's class. He said in the presence of all these witnesses, so when they're around I'll stay ten feet away. Thank god Hot Stuff's a loner. I can catch her alone just like I did those other times.
"Oooo a Dinosaur? Shit I knew I was the last of my species, no one is just as awesome as me anymore. Emma knew exactly who and what I was like the second she met me and recruited me. And she knows it as much then as she does now that I'm the way I am for good." Brock's face screwed up into a mocking sort of teary look, all for his own amusement. "Why can't you accept me for who I am Cyclops? I'm just a poor lost soul who only wants the fire girl's attention and sweet hot body on mine. Is that so much to ask?" he said with a teary like voice before he let out a dark laugh. "Weren't you the one who always said that the key to growing up is to learn to take responsibilities for our actions and accept the consequences? Well that's exactly what I been doing. I told you exactly what I did and hell I took all those blows and this little restraint without complaint. Hell, if it ever comes to it, I'll take whatever Pop quiz you decide to give me and take that responsibility for whatever I did to deserve it. I got nothing to hide," Brock said with the same malicious and mocking smirk.
Emma recruiting him was no huge coincidence. Brock's father was a ruthless and rich man, the CEO of a company that manufactured pharmaceuticals and a long time member of the Hellfire Club. He grew up in a cold household, running wild on his own most of the time. When he discovered his mutation, he was causing some major Earthquakes all up and down the neighborhood lived in out in California just for the fun of it. When Emma recruited him, Brock was her pride and joy, remorseless and ruthless and didn't hesitate. When he was thrown into this Happy Kingdom of do-gooders, he laughed it off like he did everything else. People can think what they want about Emma molding me. She doesn't get all that credit, I was this way long before she got into the picture. I just got to do more stuff when she took me in, he thought with the same smirk, not phased in the least about what anyone in the room was saying.

"You just don't know when to shut the freak up do you?" Mason growled reaching out to gently pull Tracy to him. He wasn't one for any sort of public displays of affection in the least bit, but damnit after what this idiot said and did with another girl that he felt a personal kinship with, he wanted his own near him. Mason brought her to the side of him away from Brock and kept an arm loosely around her waist.
"Ember's been putting up with your shit for two months now. I had Tracy heal your ass almost all those times because you couldn't keep your hands to yourself cause I was looking out for her. I'm done now, and so is Trace. If I ever see you hit her again..." Mason trailed off while his glance went down to his gun.
Mason looked straight ahead, his hard and stoic composure in place. "Ember went out to get herself together. Said she'd be back for practice. I'll tell her to report to you before we start. I'm not gonna bother looking for her, cause when she doesn't want to be found she wont be," he said to Cyclops in the same hard tone that he used whenever it came to his duties as a Captain.

Throughout this whole scene, Hank McCoy stood on the decide to bear witness to what was going on. Scott certainly was on point to call Rumble's behavior 'sociopathic.' I knew from the day Emma brought them over from Massachusetts. I fear that Mr. Van Alstyne took it a step too far when he set his sights on Ms. Whelan. I have known Scott long enough to know how special that girl is to him. I can only render a guess on how much his tolerance and patience is being tested right now, he thought with a sigh as he entered something into his phone for a note to look through Brock's psychological evaluation.
He usually left matters with the older kids to Cyclops and Emma. They were their kids, though Hank did favor HeartString quite a bit and was still beaming with pride the way the girl stood up for her principles. Hank worked with the girl since she was on Storm's team, allowing her full access to his library of medical books and was quite excited to work with her to learn as much about her healing as possible.
Hank walked over to put away the supplies he used to stop Brock's bleeding. Then he stopped and put them back out. "I feel we may need them if Logan gets the news," he said in a low voice under his breath.

Ariel couldn't help smirking a little as Cyclops handed Brock's ass to him, but of course the edges of her mouth turned down as Brock spoke again. It was a morning of threats as she added, "And you try it again in front of me? I'll fry your brain or better yet stop your heart altogether." She leaned back in her seat with slightly narrowed eyes, setting them on Cyclops as she waited for him to speak next.
Ariel never liked to threaten people, but when it came to her team she had their back through and through. She would've done this for any other one of her team, but because of Brock's obvious intentions with Aideen she surprised herself a little by having made it a death threat. But it was said and now she was going to ignore the psychopath and calm down.
