An innocent looking grin graced Kat's face as they arrived at the door to Riker's room. She knew how messy it was in there, and she didn't care that it was like that. It's not like roomly organization was an important factor when the fun things like animal instincts kicked in for a night of fun. She hadn't missed how Riker had reacted when she greeted Jax like she did and teased him about his tough stance about the new guy. She had a feeling he'd be exactly as he acted, and it made her giggle to see him squirm like that. She had to fix it a little, of course, to stroke his ego a little and make him feel better about it even though it was just a little game, although she left walking next to the Bubblehead to show that her intentions in going were as pure as Heather's in that they were just showing him around.
That, and a couple other things made her go as well. For one, she remembered she left something of hers somewhere in his mess and she thought she ought to get them back. The other reason was because had she stayed behind, and had the Bubblehead stayed, she would have been her form of entertainment. Despite being ignored, Kat knew that it had to irk the girl some, and knowing that made it all the more fun. Others were fun to poke at, certainly, but as of now, Heather the Bubblehead was her favorite target. Kat thought that it would be an entertaining sight to see the girl crack after all the poking and prodding and bubble jokes since she seemed all girly and quiet.
"This be Riker's room...I did forget something in there," she said, looking up at Riker with a sly grin before biting her lip and winking at him. "A personal effect of mine, aye. But nay more dawdling, in we go," she said, opening the door for them all and letting them file in before she swayed herself in. The room smelled strongly of Riker, of cigarettes, whiskey and that fresh scented soap that made him smell so good. Clothes were strewn around the place and his bed wasn't made, and she could attest to helping keep it unmade with a little smirk. The other bed looked slightly ruffled and a tad askew, but otherwise the area on the other side of it was tidy enough. She tiptoed daintily over to one pile of clothes where she remembered she left her thing.
Her pale hand dove into the pile and quickly drew out a flash of black that she crumpled into her hand. Her Cheshire cat smile came on as a flimsy lace string could be seen before she stuffed it into her pocket, her smile growing more falsely innocent as she looked at the others. "Aye, got it now....do carry on with yer things," she said, swaying her way over to sit on the edge of Riker's bed and crossing one leg over the other. She rested her elbows on her knee and leaned forward, watching amusedly as Jax and the Bubblehead looked around. "Interesting what ye might find in a man's room, innit Bubblehead? Or have ye not known what ye might find yet? Surely ye know what Gavin's be lookin' like, aye? Speakin' of I still owe him that tattoo on his lovely chest," she said, her lips pursing slightly as she remembered she still needed to do the tattoo for him, the corners of her lips curled up slightly as she remembered what his chest felt like. It made her smirk, but then she added for Riker's benefit, since she could guess she might fluster him a wee bit more, "But I like yer chest better, me wolf man. Oh, aye," she said with an assuring wink to him.

The only response Kat received from Riker was a slight grunt as he kicked some of the clothes and books in his room to his side of the room. His room was far from neat, and it showed. He did managed to put up some posters of models and actresses and some bands that he got from Ian and Gavin, and a couple of pretty paintings of the green hills of Ireland that Heather made for him, so there was a personal touch, but everything else was just like a tornado went through it. His closet was stuffed to the max with clothes, everything rumpled and folded and the journey to get his bed alone was a challenge.
"Well this be it. Yer side be that one obviously, I like bein' near the window," he said pointing out everything. "That be our bathroom, we share wit' Dante an' Sean." Kicking his pile of clothes aside, Riker plopped down hard on his bed, smirking a little as the impact made Kat bounce up a little, and it made him smirk wider when he saw she wasn't wearing a bra from that extra bounce. "Home sweet home eh? Where ya comin' te us from anyways?" Now that Kitty wasn't around, he planned to size the guy up for himself a bit better. "Ye jus' came up in that fancy soundin' car?" He glanced at Heather still standing in the doorway and nodded his head to her. "Heather love, would ya not stand like a duck outta water? Get in here an' bloody sit down while the lad puts away his stuff. I dun bite ye know, an' I'm bettin' he doesn' eithe'." He said pointing at a chair on Jax's side of the room where she could sit.
Riker looked back at Jax and figured he may as well be straight up on everything, being that he wasn't thrilled to have a roommate after all this time being without one. "Alrigh' some things straight I gotta make, I not be used te a bloody roommate but I just tellin' ye in advance that if afte' one o' the night we have out, an' I want to bring a lassie in, I plan ta do it. Ye can do the same if ye like, jus' sayin' it." He had a stubborn look on his face as the prospect of not being able to have a girl in the room when he wanted it bugged him a little. "We square mate? Good, now what say ye tell us 'bout yer power then. Cause it be nothing ye see on the surface." He ignored any expected laughter from the cute little min next to him and tried to size up this new teammate and roommate of his.

Jax sniffed as he entered the room, plenty of different smells coming to his nose. His smell sense wasn't the best out there- far from it, but it was good. When he went out hunting and camping with the workers on the land, he got used to identifying smells. There was a wild smell to this room; like being out in the woods. Jax liked it- it made him feel more at home already. His bloody room smelt like air freshner 24x7. It just made him feel like he was living in a goddamn hotel room rather than his supposed room. "I'm not fussy bout the window, don't worry." Jax commented, moving to his side of the room and dropping his backpack on his bed.
The mess didn't bother him so much; it was a good change compared to the way his prim and perfect house was. Jax used to just muck up his room for the fun of it, to piss his parents off. The posters on the walls made him smirk; unlike most guys his age, Jax hardly put up posters of chicks on his wall- it just really wasn't his thing; and plus his dad would just totally freak if he even tried it. Jax could just about imagine the look on Jay Chande's face if he stepped into this room, and the very thought of it made Jax want to laugh out loud. "Yeah, that car's mine. Got it as a bribe to pay a bit more attention to those stupidly thick law books." Jax scoffed, barking out a sarcastic laugh. He got the feeling that he was probably going to be interrogated right now- but hell he didn't care. He had nothing to hide. "And I drove down from Alaska. Lived there all my life, but family's orginally from some place in India. Guess the skin shows that." Jax's eyes flickered down to his muscular arms before he looked back up.
The pale goth chick was amusing him. Jax'd already figured that there was something going on between her and Riker, but the way she picked on the Heather girl made him laugh. His attention shifted back to Riker and Jax barked out a laugh sans the sarcasm this time. "You gottit on that one." he agreed, smirking at the guy's words. Something about being around this guy reminded him of being with the guys on the land; except they all still treated him with a bit more respect 'cause he was their employer's son and all that jazz. The question on his power just caused Jaxon's smirk to deepen. He wasn't going to answer that question that easily.
Jaxon's mind seached around the room, looking for any signs of any form of technology. Jax sensed a phone on Heather and eyed her for a moment, downloading information from her phone into his mind. "Huh, that's a cute picture there Heather. I wouldn't have guessed you and that redhead were besties." He winked at Heather as he spoke. "Huh, That Gavin dude your boyfriend? Or crush? You've got two x's after his name." Jax's smirk deepend even further as he watched his words have the impact he desired. "Huh- and if you people've got any sort of printer round here, I can probably show you a couple more tricks."

After sitting down in the chair Heather's eyes widened quickly. She grabbed her phone instantly out of her pocket to see if it was even there. When Veronika found out that Heather and Gavin were actually seeing each other, she had no problem taking Heather's phone and customizing his name for her. She completely forgot about it and was just reminded by a complete stranger. "Ummm," was all she could say in response. She looked to Riker and Kat and then returned her gaze to Jaxon. "What..... how.... did you steal my phone earlier or something?" Heather had no idea what just happened and she did look over to Riker for an idea.
She knew she probably was having a dumb blond moment but what else could she think? Unless his ability had something to do with knowing everything about someone or something like that. But since Jaxon mentioned if they had a printer or not, Heather assumed he had some connection to computers or any kind of technology. "Whoa," she simply concluded in an incredulous tone. Being in a mutant school for as long as she had, didn't even get close to helping her NOT be astounded by a person's power. Heather herself was only able to completely let go of her former identity as a striving fashion designer from Brooklyn, to a mutant several months before. And now, new students and their powers were just so interesting and amazing to the water manipulator.

Kat giggled girlishly at Heather and grinned while she clapped her hands daintily at Jax's trick. "That's very interesting," she said, her head tilted slightly as she looked slowly from Heather's surprised face to Jax. "A wee bit nosy int' people's phones, eh? I be surprised the songbird went for her too, just so ye know ye be not the only one. I'm bettin' he likes cracking more bubble jokes than I do, and that's sayin' somethin' aye," she said with a laugh as she looked around aimlessly as if there were a printer in a room such as Riker's. "A printer, hm? Naught a printer ye find in this room, Riker be devoid of technology, which I be guessin' yer ability got ta do with if yer peekin' into the Bubblehead's phone from all the way ove' there. Methinks....I like it! Maybe I'll mimic it for a day or two should I find the time to ink meself up a wee bit more," she said thoughtfully, touching a finger lightly to her chin.
"Then again, of course, I could very well be busyin' meself with me wolf man right here....gotta say a wee bit better than gettin' some temporary power, well, a lot more o' the fun stuff," she said with a girlish giggle and an innocent look at Jax. "I be sure that ye'll find some of that real soon, what girl round this circus wouldn't wanna eat ye up? Arms like that, face like yours, oh aye, definitely," she said with a sure nod as she looked over the tanned skin that she could see with another glance at his arms. Of course, keeping Riker happy as well, she purposefully bounced closer to him, making sure he saw everything that bounced to make him feel better. He was grunting noises and being possessive and she couldn't resist having fun with it while still teasing him to test his limits. It was too easy, and she was wondering how much would it take before it got to be too much for the prudish Bubblehead.
She bounced over one more time until she was right next to him, close enough so that their sides were touching and she smirked mischievously. Always did she think how fun it was to be her, to do all she did and be who she was and to get away with it all. "So ye drove a muscle care here? What kind be it? Sounded like a very nice one, all fast and loud and purring like a cat that be ready to pounce," she said, letting out a purr as a pale hand moved to Riker's thigh to rub it slowly and start him up. "Wouldn't ye agree, Bubbles? Such a nice car as that be enough to get ye goin' like that? Or does it take somethin' much more ta get ye started? Or do ye not get started at all, ever?" she wondered, tilting her head off to the side as she looked questioningly innocent at Riker's teammate, wondering how it would be answered. The girl was so uptight, and to watch her squirm was almost as fun as watching Riker squirm.

Riker looked between the three of them, confused as hell on what the hell they were talking about, and because of Kat's little series of bounces his eyes were glued to her chest the entire time and words sort of fizzled behind him. He chalked his little fascination with the lovely Gothic up to the fact that she had a great body and an incredible scent about her, and decided not to give it another thought and just enjoy the view. "I bloody missed everythin' tha' was said jus' now. What the bloody hell does anythin' have te do wit' a printer? An' yer power is te know what people got on their phones?"
That sounded beyond ridiculous to the half wolf, as did most technology. He was baffled why Ana, Heather and Jasper were so fascinated with their phones and added music and pictures and used it as a mini computer. A phone was there to make calls, why there had to be all this other stuff to it Riker would never understand. Even Kat played with her cell phone that made all these funny noises randomly that only made him growl when he heard it and glare. He hated the damn things. Up until recently he never even used a computer. Heather and K'8 had sat him down and introduced him to it after he was forced to type up papers for school. It took him a full month to get it with day to day patient teaching.
"Can someone explain bloody explain it all te me? Is it that ye know what people got on their phones? Or can ye turn phones inte printers or somethin'..." Riker trailed off as his eyes went back to Kat's chest, with no shame that he was staring at her, though at one point he did check to see if Jax was looking there too. He was a bit possessive now, cause the little show that Kat put on was for him and no one else. "Well any bloody day now dun ye all talk at once," he growled out.

The girls; aye, their reaction was approved. He loved how they went all amazed on him. He liked it when he caugt people off guard; it boost his ego. The Riker dude though; his bluntness was good, but at the same time annoying him. Jax was far from a blunt guy; unless when he wanted to be. Normally he had a way of saying things, and twisting in words to have the other person eating out the palm of his hands to get the information they needed; but this guy didn't seem to fit into 'most people,' and that frustrated Jaxon. Even though Jax wasn't his happiest inside right now; his smirk remained putt on his face, although a flicker of annoyance crossed his eyes for a vague moment.
"Well, you're obviously a bit slow, aren'tcha?" Jax shot the wolf guy, his tone more teasing than taunting. His eyes flickered from the wolf guy to his girl, to Heather. "Emma Frost, codenamed me RAM. Random Access Memory." he started after a moment, his face and voice wiped of any form of emotion. "I can download information from any sort of device into my brain. Phones, Computers, iPods- whatever." he shrugged, dropping his hands on his bed and leaning back a little to make himself more comfortable. "If you got one of those security code thingies at any room enterences or shiz, I can hack into those. Any passwords, any codes- anything. Deciphering it is as easy as ABC. Still, requires concentration though." He cast a look around to make sure that he was getting through to all these people here.
"You all with me so far?" he asked, directing his question particularly at the Riker guy. "I can store x amount of data, and I've got this sort of camera in my eyes I guess. I can take a picture in my mind- and send signals to a printer so whatever I see in front of me will come down on paper. Same with computers; transferring files from one computer to the other. Goes through my brain; but still works." he ran his fingers through his hair. Jax locked his eyes with the wolf guy for a second and then switched to looking at them as a group instead. "How 'bout you lot? What can you do? And other 'round here?" Wouldn't hurt to know more about the people he was around.

As stated before, Heather was quite impressed with the powers of other mutants regardless of how long she had been surrounded by them. This new member of her team was quite the character and seemed a bit cocky in her opinion. But when it came to being a useful teammate, she couldn't help but agree. Jaxon and Riker might actually bump heads at a consistent basis. However they also had the ability to be best friends. No one was ever able to know who they would like and not like several weeks from meeting them. Although in Heather's case, she knew that she didn't like Kat or respect her much either. She didn't understand why bothering others purposely could be fun to do on a regular basis.
Pushing the Paragon out of her mind, Heather giggled at Riker's reaction but quickly removed her smirk. She understood that he wasn't really into technology, considering his background. "My codename's Aqua," she finally said to Jaxon. "So you can pretty much figure out what I can do." She wasn't trying to be secretive or mysterious to Jaxon, she just didn't really feel like getting into detail. He would be able to see later on during their Danger Room session.
Heather was actually thinking about Gavin for a bit. She wondered if he even noticed she left since his attention span was so short. That was her guy, and she had to accept that. Although she had to admit that it bothered her sometimes.

Kat smirked, using a hand to cover one side of her mouth as she leaned forward towards Jax as if she were telling a secret. "In case ye got a wee bit lost there, it means her power put all this soapy water in her head, sloshin' about and makin' those bubbles that I affectionately name her for," she whispered, giving him a innocent smile before sitting back up straight and resuming her slow rubbing of Riker's thigh. Jax's response to his adorably funny cluelessness probably would not settle well with him, and she knew she would do well in keeping Riker calm. "Be nice now, Jaxy, we needn't pick on me wolf man cause he didn't immediately get the technology bit. Some us be a bit more primal in this school, and there be nothin' wrong with it. Actually, it be quite fun, and very useful at times," she said to him with a mischievous smirk before looking at Riker and giving him a wink and licking her lips slowly as they curled up into a flirty smile.
"Now," she said, catching Riker's eye and then looking to Jax again, "Me power be quite fun and inventive, aye. In a manner of speakin', I could have any power, without the experience, o' course. Me body does this weird thing where I put tattoos on meself and I get the abilities of whatever I happen to use as a tat. Drawback is that they be temporary and gone in a few days, but painlessly puttin' 'em back on helps keep 'em up. Me current favorite be this wee cat paw that gives me abilities like a kitty cat," she said, purring for effect as she lightly traced a finger over the cat paw tattoo on her collarbone slowly, the light touch a tickling sensation that made her giggle girlishly. "Quite fun, I tell ye," she said, nodding as she looked at Riker with her flirty smile. "Ye like me tats, right, even the ones they can't see?" she said, smirking as a hand her hand ran down the front of her shirt and her thumb hooked onto a belt loop of her black jeans. She purred quietly at him before looking away.
"I be wonderin', Miss Bubblehead, why be ye here? Ye be so outta place, like a thumb made out of bubbles in a room full of prickly needles ready to pop ye ta kingdom come," she said, her head tilting to the side in curiosity as she looked at her with inquisitively playful blue eyes. A second later, she smirked. "Ah, methinks I know. Jaxy be what brought ye here, aye? I agree, he be quite an eyeful o' man, I can unde'stand why ye'd poof away with us from me songbird for him," she said knowingly with an understanding nod before looking at Jax with a smirk. "Ye be a nice piece of juicy man meat that even Miss Squeaky Clean Bubblehead even gets distracted from he' man. Naughty, naughty," she said looking back at the Bubblehead, playfully brushing off her finger as if it were a bad thing. "Shame, girly. Can't ye keep yer wanderin' eyes from wanderin' round? I at least, have some of me own self control, but then I've had the experience to work on it. Aye, must be it," she said as she started drawing little patterns softly on Riker's thigh as she purred quietly at him.

"Is tha' right love? Ye got self-control? An' where was I when this new thing happened?" Riker asked in a gruff tone, though it was more playful now than anything else. He would be a damned liar if he said he didn't love the attention from the little minx next to him. She was bloody gorgeous for one, and she had this personality like nothing that he had ever come across. True he didn't think about her personality when he first saw her gorgeous little body, but he did now, its what made him stick around and actually consider doing so without fear.
Riker sat back on the bed, making no move to stop Kat but keeping his glance neutral and cool at this boy that would be his new roommate. "I got no use fer technology an' I not be apologizin' fer it. Everythin' I need be me nose an' ears an' anything outside. Ye look strong though, an' there be no room fer trouble in me pack. Ye earn yer place an' ye earn yer keep. Ye fall back on yer duties te the team, then tha' be on you, an' ye alone will feel the consequences." He looked over at Heather and then at Kat, rather impressed that the little minx read him so well and knew just what to do to calm him down.
"When here, ye be in me pack. An' in me pack we all be family. Ye may have a family outside the pack, but here this pack be all ye got, an' here they come first. Ye treat them right an' you do yer part an' we square. Ye got that?" Riker looked at him carefully, smelling any hint of apprehension and looking him carefully for any signs that he would be another Chupacabra. That was the last thing they needed.

Jax cracked a smile at Kat, and barked out a bit of a laugh. His eyes flickered over to Heather, and he tried to imagine her with the red-head and winged guy, and it seemed like a bit of an odd pairing. Probably because he'd just stereotypically picture a girl like Heather to be with some big, buff jock-y kinda guy. Or maybe it was just because the wings were gonna take some getting used to for Jax- either way he found them a bit of a mismatch but he didn't really think much on it. It wasn't really any of his buisness. "You guys have pretty cool powers," he acknowledged, his voice impressed as he looked from one to the other.
When Riker spoke- Jaxon felt that slight hint of frustration inside him, probably because the wolf-boy's words weren't really doing much to boost his ego, but Jaxon paid him attention nonetheless when he went over his pack rules, as it would be put. "As far as I'm concerned I have no family anymore." he pointed out, "and I'm gonna be plain, it'll take me a while to accept the whole... team to be family. I've never had a proper family see? I don't know much about that stuff. But I'll promise you this; i'll try my best." For once there was no hint of cockiness in Jaxon's voice. When it came to family... one could say Jaxon sort of had abandonment issues. Jaxon'd tried to make the workers at the land his family- but it'd never felt that right, because they would never treat him... as complete equals. They were always aware that he was their master's son, and they'd always keep that barrier between them and Jaxon.
"If that's alright with you... I wanna know a bit more." That slight edge of cocky-ness returned back to Jaxon's voice and so did his smirk. His eyes wandered the room as he spoke. "So... huh, what's it like living in this place? I mean- what's the daily sced and all? What d'you guys do during the week? I haven't all that much information on this place- you guys hardly have a website." Jax commented lifting one of his hands off the bed and running it through his long hair. "Who else is on our team... New Mutants right? I mean, I know the names and faces of the ones that Shadowkat pointed out- but what can they do? What other kinda powers have ya'll got around the school?" his voice sounded slightly bored, but he was actually quite curious. His smirk deepend at the sound of his own voice; he'd gotten so used to that tone when talking to his so called family at home. It felt kinda out of place now- around all these people. But hey- it was just a part of him. Nada he could do to change it.

OK seriously what the f@#k? Heather's cheerful tone and manner was starting to break away. Kat really knew what she was doing especially if she intentionally said all that crap in order to piss of Heather; it was working. Heather was starting to feel the same way she did for Haven, for Kat and that wasn't acceptable. Her dislike toward Haven was done ever since she told her off. If the girl was smart, which Heather hated to admit was a fact, Haven would leave her alone and stay away. The New Mutant was anything but a violent person and always resolved problems with reason and words. But after a certain point she just couldn't take it anymore and would blow up; and that in itself was barely seen.
Heather gave her attention to Kat and looked at the boys before going back to the Paragon. "I only see my teammates here Kat," she began. "You're the only one who seems to be sticking out. And yes you guessed it, I'm here because Jaxon completely stole my heart away and took Gavin's place. What's a Squeaky Clean Bubblehead like me to do? Oh I know... clean up the trash. Well Kat, get going. The door's over there."
That's right, that just happened. And Heather herself couldn't believe it either. The second the words came out of her mouth, she wished she never said it. It wasn't like she was afraid of Kat or anything. The truth was that Heather didn't want to disrespect someone that Riker clearly was interested in. But he didn't seem to be helping her out when Kat kept attacking her. So just for self defense, Heather had to open her mouth. A quick look of disbelief appeared on her face and left just as fast. She finally said what she had wanted to say for a while and that was that. Now she was able to return her attention to her new teammate.
"What I can really do is control water and change its density. Basically making it ice or vapor. I'm still trying to get that vapor part down though..." She scratched her head, feeling the soda start to itch. She needed to go shower... again and would do so after she said her part. "We have a lot of kids with different powers here. My best friend Veronika can make copies of things with her hands. Kris can control plant life and energy, Ana is a telepath but she is on our team... ummmmmm Kevin, he's on the Acolytes, he can solidify and sculpt light. I think it's really cool since I would love to sculpt. But drawing has really been my thing. Oh Riker speaking of that did you know he made one of you the other day? It was really amazing!" She didn't even think to realize that Kevin made it in honor of his crush on Riker. Plus Riker was very weirded out by the whole homosexual topic in general. Heather had to admit it was funny seeing him completely misunderstanding the customs of modern day humans.

As the Bubblehead spoke, Kat looked at her, one eyebrow raised and her lips curled into an amused smirk. So the girl did have a breaking point and said something. She must be commended for that, especially for someone who took that much goading and was uptight like that. As she got up, her finger traced a last line on Riker's thigh before hanging at her side as she walked over to the water girl. A thoroughly amused smirk played across Kat's lips as she went over and giggled girlishly. She patted Heather's shoulder daintily. "Well done, Bubbles, well done. So ye do speak. However, I'd be careful. Ye might just....." she paused as she turned to walk back, stopping for a moment to make a loud popping noise with her mouth before she continued walking back over to Riker's bed. Instead of sitting next to him as she had before, she swung an arm round his neck before sitting on his lap. She looked back at the Bubblehead and smirked. "Trash may be useless, aye, but I ain't the one sittin' around all awkward and blondey. I be productive, welcomin' nice Jaxy ove' there, playin' like a good little hostess oughta. Aye, who be the more trashy?" she asked, her tone playing it off as if it were all in good fun. In a way it was, but it was fun to play to see how much further could Heather could be pushed.
Her facial expression completely changed as she realized what she had heard about the weird one, Kevin. "Little blondy boy one made a scultpure of me wolf man? Be that so?" she asked, an eyebrow raised, her expression looking something that might be considered weirded out, as weirded out as Kat had the capacity to be since she normally was the cause of it. She thought of the little blond boy and giggled. "Did he now? Was it anatomically correct? Ye kno they be useless if they ain't right, specially with this one right here," she said, her hand slowly starting to massage his shoulder as she spoke. She hadn't missed the looks Riker had gotten from wee Kevin, and she could practically smell the desire coming off him probably as well as Riker could. Homosexuality wasn't an issue with her, not in the least, but the way this boy carried himself was just.....laughable.
Clear it was he had a crush on Riker, but clearer still was it that Riker had absolutely no interest, even repulsion towards the thought. "He makes me wonder sometimes. Watchin' him outta the corner of me eye, aye, he be lustin' after poor Riker horribly so. Odd little sparkly boy, tryin' ta be like one o' us with the makeup and all...methinks it don't suit him at all, nay. A wee bit scary, actually, and comin' from me that be sayin' somethin'. He be like a retarded vampire or somethin', dun belong in the human world, nor do he belong in the underworld. Methinks that's the only way I can put it.....I'll think o' somethin' better, aye," she said with a thoughtful nod before looking at Riker. "Don't ye worry mate, I'll protect ye," she said with a small devious smile, her tone joking, but meaning it since it was weird, and she didn't like the way the Hardlight boy kept looking at him the way he did and making sculptures of him.

"Both o' ye cut it out," Riker growled out to the two females. He could deal with some harmless teasing, but he wasn't going to all the words to turn vicious. "Ain' no one 'ere bloody useless, an' I won' have either o' ye startin' a bloody ove' nothin'." He looked between the females, both his teammate and the little minx he was growing fond of, giving them both looks to cut their crap out. There had been more than one time in the beginning that he had to stop fights between the females in his pack, including one between his twin and Clutch. They came quite far since then, and they were now a true pack. He wasn't going to have to females under his watch go at it again with no merit behind it.
"Behave yerselves lassies, savvy? Good," Riker looked between the two of them for a moments before registering what Kat. "Hardlight be an odd lad... I don't bloody get it." The half wolf looked incredibly uncomfortable at the moment. The fact that it was a lad's eyes that he caught and not just the lassies made his stomach turn in a sickening way. It was unnatural for him to even try and understand that, and he just didn't get it. It bothered him that someone like that could like him, made him feel like something was wrong with him.
"Aw bloody hell I didn't think that he be that bloody weird when I met him, he just seemed a wee bit puny an' eager te be friends. Look he even did that stuff on the ceiling," Riker pointed up while leaning back against Kat the ceiling that was embedded with light from the stars. "Can we bloody talk 'bout something else? I feel like I got somethin' wrong wit' me te have a bloke gimme eyes meant for a lassie. Tis bloody wrong!" He shuddered again, and glanced back at Jax. "There be some bloody odd people 'ere, an' I dun jus' mean wit' powers. Crazy an' odd ones."

Jaxon's eyes flickered upwards to the ceiling and shudder ran through his frame. Bloody Hell that was freaking weird. Jaxon wasn't exactly strictly homophobic... or maybe he was. He just found gays and lesbians downright wrong. It just wasn't right. Hell no. Jaxon looked at Riker with a downright creeped out expression, "Tell me there aren't any of them on... our team." Jax demanded, making up his mind to go ask Emma Frost to switch his teams if there were.
Jaxon was already feeling creeped out at the thought of homosexuals living in the same mansion as him. The thought of having them on his team, oh boy that was just formidable. "What else did you mean by crazy and odd?" Jax added after a sec. "You got some weirder than... people who don't have their hormones right?" Jax scratched the back of his neck, trying to imagine things stranger than wolf-people, winged-people and homosexuals.
It seemed like he'd walked into a completely different world all together; all of this was so different from the way things'd been back in Alaska for him, but honestly he didn't think he minded it one damn bit. Atleast he wouldn't constantly have two snobs nagging him about keeping up a posh appearance. "Alright, I'm gonna unpack." he announced out loud, pulling his massive backpack towards him and lifting it effortlessly onto his lap.
The first thing Jax pulled out was a sleek black Sony Vaio and popped it onto his bed, following it with his charger. He pressed his lips together before pulling out a small box with portable iPod speakers, his iPod, a spare mobile phone, some extra gadgets for his laptop, and then he shook out the rest of his bag; loads of unfolded t-shirts and roughly five pairs of jeans dropping out of his bag. "Alright, that's pretty much it. I got some more clothes in my car, but I'll grab 'em when I need 'em." he mused to himself.
Jaxon sat surrounded by messy clothes and gadgets before shooting a glance at Riker, an arrogant smirk on his face. It'd been running through Jax's mind the whole time he was taking out all his gadgets- Riker didn't like techonolgy that much. That was pretty clear with his bluntness towards Jaxon's power. Huh. Trust Jaxon to end up with a technophobe of some sorts for a roommate.
