Like a dog wagging his tail, Coffee quickly beat his right foot on the floor to express his happiness when Liv agreed to go train with him. "Good," he growled. "Me help clean. Go fast, fast." He wondered what kind of training the girl might have, if she had any at all. He hoped she had something new from which he could learn. Can learn from all, he reminded himself. Even watching Hardlight, who had not known much about fighting when Coffee first met him, had still taught him something. The boy had imagination and determination, which would make him deadly with the proper training. "Me get things too," he squeaked.
He still needed his sword and he had a little shield that might be useful. He would also see what he had in his weapons chest that the girl might find useful. While he had not been able to take more than the clothes on his back and a couple of weapons with him from the Mojoverse, he had made a lot of new weapons over the last few months. A lot of them he had really only designed, and gotten the students or teachers to make them for him. Nets. he thought. Beginner, nets good. If the girl was not a beginner than a human sword might do well. He wanted to skip guns until they had trained more, but he definitely wanted to train against guns. They were his biggest weakness.
Coffee rubbed his chin as he thought and watched Liv dish out more food for Ian. Horse farm. Rope then. She good with rope. He decided he would get the ropes and nets for the Paragon to choose from in addition to any weapons of her own. It was too bad the new horses had not arrived. Fighting riders on horseback was always one of Coffee's favorite things in the games. It made for an interesting challenge.
But first more food. Coffee waved to Torri energetically to say he wanted more, when she asked. He also giggled a little at the Alpha's comment to Liv. Finishing the last of his fruit, he listened to the conversation, and his ears perked up when Ricki suggested he could be the band mascot. He knew what a band was but the word 'mascot' was new. "What that?" he tapped out to Ricki. I don't music. Like, but no do., he thought, And who he. The rabbit did not recognize the boy who came into the kitchen and suggested others might join him for a run as if he belonged to the school and already knew everybody. No wait. He in rec room yesterday. And think I see before that. Friday? Yes, the boy had arrived the previous week, but Coffee had not spent any time around him. Strange.

Ian completely ignored Jumpdick and continued shoveling the food in his mouth. He had been enjoying his food immensely, and he wasn't about to stop now. "MMMmmm oh man Liv, you're my new best friend too," he said with a look of bliss on his face as he finished the last of the food on his plate. "Maddy can make amazing spicy food too, that's all I really know about her. She seems like a cool chick though, and I dig her accent."
He shoved his plate of food toward Liv and had a big smile on his face, trying to look as innocent as possible. "More please? And I'm volunteering to be your new taste tester. I'll fight Gavin for it- OH damn!" He looked quickly at Ricki and Torri. "You two can NOT tell him about her cooking. He's gonna come in for food and then we're gonna get into another fight over the biscuits or something. When he can make his wings sharp, that HURTS man," Ian rubbed his hand in memory when he grabbed his wings only to come back with a cut up hand.
"Yea, no I'm so claiming you as personal cook." He put his arm around Liv playfully and looked all proud. "You tell Gavin that if he tries. Say you're spoken for." He grinned at her and ruffled her hair slightly. "Don't worry Torri, you're still my main cookie girl. Though I gotta tell ya Liv babe, you and Sky are gonna have to compete for the title of most kickass dinner chef. Her food is, OOOoooooo ooooh man soooo good. You gotta try her steak man, its like gourmet and stuff." He moved over and poured himself some more orange juice, looking at the food cooking and taking a deep breath. "Oh and uh, don't be shy on the food babe, I can take another plateful." He patted his stomach proudly. "So you met Sky yet? Oh wait you're a Paragon!" Ian exchanged a look with Taffy, not looking at Jumpdick still cause Ian was pretty sure he hadn't earned his Paragon stripes yet. "So you uh, met Veronika yet?"

Taking her mug to the table, Liv nodded to Coffee and sat across from him and the Acolytes, grinning at Ricki and Torri’s defense of the red team. “Awesome?” she considered it, purposefully taking her time, tapping her chin thoughtfully. Finally she winked and snickered into her mug. “Yup, that’s what I’ve heard. Awesome.” Truth be told, that was exactly what she’d heard, but her time at the lake had already ingrained Paragon pride into her and Liv couldn’t help but tease them. Not to mention it was a shame that Ian was on the other team. She’d gladly trade the cheerful human garbage disposal for the silent and brooding Dante. She liked Dante as much as someone could like a self-declared badass, but Liv didn’t have patience for that sort of closed off and guarded attitude. Life was way too short to be so… Vulcan.
It bugged her.
Liv fixed her own plate, dicing bacon and sprinkling it over her home fries along with some cheese. She probably should have felt bad, eating a little piggie when she knew for a fact that they didn’t really like being eaten. Maybe they shouldn’t taste so good, then people wouldn’t eat them, she thought to herself, tipping back in her seat.
She nearly made an ungraceful landing on her back when Ricki suggested starting a band. Liv eagerly pulled her drumsticks out of her back pocket and spun them through her fingers. “Aw man, if we can get people together for a jam session… You name the time and the place and I’ll bring my pads down.” Grinning maniacally, Liv laughed. “Poor Lorelai. I woke her up when I got in this morning with a most excellent drum solo.” She used her best Theodore Logan voice and jammed the sticks back into her pocket.
She really had woken up Lorelai when she’d snuck back into the room. The blue haired girl had taken it in stride, retaliating by freezing Liv’s pillow solid. They’d wound up sitting up for a while, talking, while they waited for Liv’s pillow to thaw. It had taken a little finagling, but Liv had finally gotten Lorelai to explain what had happened to her face. It sounded like a lot of shit had just gotten out of hand, that a lot of hormones and petty crap had piled up until people snapped and Lore ended up getting her ass kicked.
Liv had warned her roomie that hiding in the dorm would only make things worse. Lorelai had to own her mistake and move past it. She had gotten Lorelai to promise to come down for breakfast, but Liv wasn’t stupid. She’d only known the ice bender for a few hours and she already knew the girl didn’t know what was good for her.
That’s why she’d left the window to their room open.
A devious smile spread across Liv’s face as she sipped her coffee. She glanced at the clock on the stove. If Lorelai wasn’t out of the dorm within the next seven minutes, she was going to be forcibly removed from the room.
Liv was brought out of her wicked thoughts when Kyle came in. He seemed oblivious to the conversation and the buffet going on in the kitchen. She got up and threw him a biscuit before he got to the door. “Sorry, Kyle. I already promised Coffee I’d train with him.” She shrugged, and turned back to the table where Ian was doing his best to eat his own weight in bacon. She couldn’t help but laugh at him. “I promise, I’ll only give Gavin birdseed,” she said with a wink, giving him the plate of stacked pancakes she’d made before he’d come in. She slid three onto Ricki’s plate before Ian Hoovered them all. “Yeah, I met Sky last night and I met Veronika…” she looked over at Kyle, “briefly.”

Not long after Liv had spoken could loud grumbles, muffled curses and the chirping of birds could be heard getting closer in the hall outside the kitchen. From now on, the windows stay CLOSED. Like they were gonna be already since I don't need any more sheets or anything flying through them, but CLOSED. FOREVER, Lorelai thought as she quickened her step slightly to keep the small flock of birds Liv had summoned from pecking at her back. The hoodie she had on cushioned the birds' beaks so they turned out to be more like really annoying pokes in the back. "I'm moving damnit, I'm moving, I'm gonna kill her," she muttered to herself as she neared the kitchen door. Her hood was up, but she didn't need to look very far to see where to walk in. Strands of her blue hair fell in front of her face as she nearly jumped into the kitchen so the persistent little buggers would stop.
"Okay, I'm here Snow White...God, you couldn't have given me like twenty freaking minutes? I said I was gonna come down didn't I?" she asked huffily while one hand inched into the large pocket at the front of her hoodie. Her iPod pooched a small rectangular shape in it and she was so tempted to just put one ear in, but not only had she and Liv talked about coming down for breakfast, they'd talked about actually socializing a little bit so she could further own her mistake. She could live with trying, but after looking around in the kitchen to see that Diesel was there, wolfing down his food as ever he did, she lost some of that resoluteness to try acting normal. In her pocket, her fingers slowly started to feel for an earbud, just in case things were going to head south.
They twitched as she forced herself not to; she had to speak to him sometime and apologize, even if now was not the time. She glanced at the others in there before turning to Liv again. "Here are your dang birds back," she said, dodging them for the last time before they flew out the open window, their job done. "Thanks so much for getting me down here, how ever did you know I'd be incapable?" she asked, smirking slightly as she placed an ice cold hand on her shoulder in 'thanks.' "Now I'm down here. and you're making food...smells pretty good. Can I have some? Last time I ate an actual meal, I didn't really get to finish...you know," she said rather huffily as the previous day's events threatened to sour her somewhat playful mood.
Lorelai moved back so that she could lean against the kitchen counter near the stove, watching the food as it cooked and looked around at the inhabitants again, realizing that Ricki was there too. She caught her eye and nodded slightly with a hint of a small smile before looking away. Her eyes fell on Diesel again as she wondered what she should do about him. At one point, she did want to talk to him. Apologize if nothing else, but maybe talk it out...or as much as he would allow her to speak, if he did. She bit her lip. She didn't really deserve the opportunity to try, but maybe she could ask to speak with him. She chewed her lip slightly, thinking about how she might go about it although she looked away as she waited for Liv to see if she could help herself to some of the good smelling breakfast food. She was hungry, after all.

Torri looked over to Ricki and narrowed her eyes. "What do I look like? Liv?" she said. She sounded annoyed but her tone was clearly playful. Torri wasn't an angry person, in fact she never acted in an aggressive way in her entire life. It wasn't common amongst a thirteen year old since that was beginning of the hormonal stage and all. But Torri was the happiest she had ever been, since she joined the mutant life. "I'm not going to make a whole new fresh batter woman. If you want plain then do it yourself. Redeem yourself to Ian if you really wanna impress him." She make a huge smile and winked at Ian before finishing up her own silver dollar pancakes. "Oh and sorry Kyle but I'm STARVING and I havta help Karma out after breakfast. Ya want some blueberry pancakes?" She always liked Kyle and was kinda sad when he left the academy for a while. But it was for the better so she didn't complain.
The tension built once Lorelai walked into the kitchen. Torri looked at her and smiled, but also made sure to keep Ian's face within her peripheral vision. She hoped he didn't get mad and was able to tolerate her presence. Last Torri heard, they still weren't on good terms and since Torri was able to apologize to Ricki about everything, she only wished Lorelai would do the same and keep things at an even keel. "Hey Lorelai," she said happily. She was trying to keep the situation with low tension. "Wants some blueberry pancakes?" She took the batter and mixed it, getting it ready in case she needed to make more. She then took her own already made batch of breakfast, along with bacon and maple syrup, and took a nice bite by the stove.

Liv cracked up at the sight of the birds fluttering around Lorelai’s head as they corralled the reluctant girl into the kitchen. “Nicely done,” she told the birds with a smirk. The flock of warrior sparrows chirped proudly, each pausing to land on her for a moment of praise before taking off out the kitchen window. Cuil alone remained behind, perching in the rim of Liv’s mug looking pleased with himself. Liv didn’t want to examine that too closely. The littler bugger had probably crapped all over her room. “Off the table, Cuil, people are eating,” she scolded, jerking her thumb to get her point across. “Besides, if you stay still too long Ian might eat you by accident.” She looked at Ian, teasing. “I think he just ate his spoon.” Liv tried to hide her smile behind her coffee cup as she looked over at the Acolyte. He was fun. They all were. The little bird immediately obeyed, opting to sit on Ricki’s shoulder, safely out of reach of Ian and his indiscriminate stomach. Cuil pecked harmlessly at a strand of Ricki’s blonde hair in greeting before fixing a tiny black eye on Liv.
The cold two-legger made a fuss, Livi, Cuil chirped, his tiny black eye on Lorelai. Cranky. Be careful with her.
Tilting her head to the side at the warning, Liv looked over at Lorelai. The blue-haired girl looked incredibly uncomfortable and after a brief glance around the kitchen, Liv noted that she wasn’t the only one. It was impossible to miss the furtive looks that Ian was getting from the others. Something was up.
Alert but relaxed, Liv flicked a piece of chopped mushroom at her roommate. “Don’t just stand there, Lore, sit and eat. There’s still some food left.” She quirked an eyebrow at Lorelai, silently asking what the freak was going on. She didn’t like drama and if she had just stepped in it, she thought she deserved a warning.
Liv sighed and broke a biscuit apart on a plate. “Cuil, leave Ricki alone.” She tapped the plate and left it on the counter as the sparrow eagerly winged his way over and started to chow down on his breakfast. Liv leveled a finger at the small bird. “You poop in this room, you’re banned for life, got me? People won’t appreciate you making a mess where they eat.” She looked around when she realized she was being stared at. “What? I talk to animals," she said with a grin. "Whatcha think? That my power was being ridiculously good-lookin'?”

"Cut the attitude missy!" Ricki directed playfully at Torri. "Naaaah kidding. But Ha! Liv's nicer than you Torri... she made me plain pancakes. Thanks Liv! And Hey Cuil!" Ricki'd met the sparrow the previous day, and unlike most others at the table, Ricki wasn't staring at Liv while she spoke to the bird. Ricki'd been introduced to Liv's power the night before, and personally she'd thought it was really cute and pretty awesome, and the first thing she'd actually thought of when she'd heard of Liv's power was how finally someone would be able to translate word-for-word what Coffee was on about.
Ricki's eyes flickered over to Ian momentarily, watching his reaction to Lorelai entering the room. Ricki knew they weren't on the best terms at the moment, but she hoped they'd be able to sort it out and put it behind them... Ricki didn't want to have to choose between her team and Lorelai. Ricki smiled at Lorelai to assure her that they were still on good terms before she diverted her attention to Coffee to avoid the ackward-ness of the situation.
"Mascot? It's like... someone who represents the band in a way. You will be our Icon! You know how that rooster is the Icon for Cornflakes? Not... that I'm calling you a rooster. You're a rabbit... but you know!" Ricki grinned, hoping to have gotten her point across to Coffee. "You want some of my pancakes Cuil?" Ricki offered turning her head to look at the warrior bird. "Or are you not into them?" she added, before turning around to look at the rest of the lot.
"What? I like animals, okay?" Ricki rolled her eyes, shaking her head before she looked between Ian and Lorelai, watching for their reaction to one another.

Ian's glance went to Lorelai only briefly and it did in fact change his demeanor cause well, how could it not? So much shit had gone down between them and though he wasn't thrilled with his girl for yesterday, he wasn't thrilled with Frostbite any less. It was like nothing but shit had gone down lately and frankly he was tired of it. Ian had been talking to Eric about some of the stuff that went down and all, and even his best friend from home said that stuff went too far and it was past the point of crazy and somewhere at ridiculous.
"Uh, yea. Listen Liv babe, thanks for the food, it was like, totally radical and awesome and all," Ian said straightening up. "But I probably oughta get going, Gavin and I are supposed to meet up and finish our homework together soon, and I don't wanna be late and all." He didn't want to start anything or have anything start, especially since he just met Liv and he didn't want her to have a bad impression of anything and he was tired of all the shit that went down. Plus with Torri right there and Ricki, well maybe it was the protective side of him coming out but he didn't want them mixed up with any of this crap, especially Torri since the kid was timid enough around edgy situations.
"If you're makin' lunch Liv, come find me okay? I'm sure I'll be hungry by then," he said with a slight grin. He reached over and messed up both Ricki and Torri's hair with a smile at their reactions. "Catch you guys later!" Ian laughed a bit and ran out of the room waving to Coffee. He wasn't going to make a big thing of it and hey Frostbite should start making new friends and all, so who was he to stick around and add to the awkward atmosphere. He could always catch up with them later, and most likely would if Liv was cooking lunch. He loved lunch, it was his second favorite time of the day, breakfast being first.

Lorelai chewed on her thumbnail nervously as Diesel had spoken, and when he left, she hung her head and let out a sigh. Whether it was of relief or of something else, she didn't know, only that she'd just made him leave when he seemed to be enjoying himself as she had heard it before she had come in. "F%#k...." she muttered under her breath with another heaved sigh, shaking her head before she lifted her head high enough to look over at Torri to give her a small, but slightly forced smile. "Sure, some pancakes sound good," she said quietly as she turned to the stove and counter so she could get a plate from the cabinet and grab some of the food that was sitting there.
"Yeah, you're missing something Liv.. And I'll tell you about it later," she said, having caught the look from her roommate because she was indeed missing something. Lorelai hadn't thought that she'd need to tell the whole damned story so soon, but she should've just figured it. She always should've just figured it. Irony ran this school like its puppet, and everything always found a way to get messed up somehow. "It's just more stuff that makes my life so much fun," she said, sort of tossing some of the breakfast food onto her plate to have while Torri made pancakes. She didn't bother sitting down, because even though Ian had left, she still felt inexplicably unwelcome. She supposed she would feel like this all over the school for a while, until she mended things with the people she needed to talk with, and until the school found something else to gossip about relentlessly. Lorelai hoped that something would come up soon; she didn't like feeling as if she no longer belonged.
Picking up pieces of bacon with her fingers she bit off some and swallowed before speaking again. "Sorry for killing the atmosphere, guys. I know I kinda make things really awkward," she said, not looking at the others as she spoke. She was tempted to tell Torri and Ricki that they didn't have to stick around if they didn't want to, but they seemed to be okay with her there, so she wouldn't burn that bridge. It made her feel slightly better that they weren't practically running off at the sight of her, but she still felt horrible that she made Diesel leave. It made her want to apologize all the more, although it was clearly obvious that going up and asking to speak with him would not work. I'll have to do something else. I just hope....I don't know. I don't deserve the opportunity. But I still want to try. Another time... she thought as she ate some more of the food off her plate.
"So...what are you guys up to today?" Lorelai asked, looking at Liv, Torri and Ricki with a small, hopefully hopeful smile, trying to make conversation to get past the awkwardness that she had brought on just by coming into the kitchen. She didn't know what the day held in store for her; she only hoped that it wouldn't turn even more sour than it already had, and that she might figure out how to take care of some things.

Coffee heard the Frostbite's steps coming hurriedly toward the kitchen as well as a faint whooshing sound even before he heard the girl's grumbles and the bird's chirping. Frostbite with birds? It took Coffee a second to piece it together. But he had it before the girl entered the room. Liv say she make Frostbite get up with drums. Must share room. Crazy Liv. He chuckled as he realized the new girl must have sent the birds.
Birds follow. Make weapon. He could see many uses for a flock of birds as weapons and as spies. Convince birds, hard. They no like to talk outside flock. He had tried talking to birds in the woods himself, not very much as the language was hard for him, but enough to find them very xenophobic. Coffee was impressed. He was also curious to find out exactly what Liv said to them.
He would ask later. Right now he wanted more food. The fruit was nice but not enough. Like most rabbits his diet was mostly hay and grasses. Without them he would become irregular and irritable. His hay was in a cabinet next to the stove, but there were too many people there. Torri was making pancakes and the boy she called Kyle was there too. So instead Coffee listened to the students, and carefully watched the one remaining sparrow. Cuil as Ricki called him. The bird's fearlessness with people was interesting, especially his willingness to sit on Ricki's shoulder as if he had been tame his whole life. Liv no do to Coffee, he thought, wondering if the girl's power also gave her an ability to make animals comply with her wishes, and if he were affected.
He decided he would return to the issue later. Right now Ricki was explaining 'mascot.' Advertising. Coffee had been on plenty of cereal boxes in the Mojoverse. Popular gladiators were splashed all over products. The idea of being in advertising again did not appeal to him. He tapped 'No, no.' But worried Ricki might not understand he then squeaked and grunted to Liv, "Liv say Ricki, no mascot Coffee. Coffee no like ad. Mojo make ad Coffee." The rabbit was happy when Ian's departure and Frostbite's apologies changed the subject from mascots. He waived goodbye to the boy. He would see his friend later.

Torri frowned, really bummed out that Lorelai and Ian couldn't at least try to talk about what happened. She just wanted everything to be back to normal, but that was rare in the mutant academy. She didn't want Ian to leave because of the awkward situation, but she didn't blame him either. Torri really did miss her old team and she was just starting to hang out with them a bit more again. "Here ya go Lorelai," she said while finishing up. She poured Lorelai's batch of pancakes and left the spatula next to the stove. "I'll be right back guys. Excuse me."
She quickly passed the group and made sure not to hit Kyle on her way out of the kitchen. "Hey Ian wait up!!" she said as she slowed down as she reached him. "C'mon don't leave. I don't want to get into anyone's business... but she is just as upset about everything as you are." She sighed, knowing that she wasn't really doing a good job staying out of the situation. "I miss hanging out with the old team and I was really happy to see you and Ricki again... without having Austin or Chopper screaming in my ear and Lily's wings blowing my hair into my face. Do you think we can hang out together soon?" She blinked her big blue eyes, hoping Ian was cool with it. She knew he wasn't the type to hold back feelings, hence why she respected him so much and why she thought he was so cool.

Kyle had caught the biscuit tossed to him by Liv and took a bite. He nodded while he finished and looked over to Liv. "That's really good, Thanks." He took another bite and then grabbed a glass of milk to wash it down. "Alright guys, I'll catch you later." He adjusted his bag and nodded to Liv for the food and then smiled and winked to Torri. "Enjoy guys, if any of you get bored later, I'm heading up the hiking trail."
He finished his milk and turned to leave. He needed to get out, and let the others enjoy their breakfast. He was in a good mood today, he felt a lot better after sleeping and getting a good workout in the morning.

Ricki watched Torri follow after Ian, with a slight frown. Ricki knew Torri was going to talk to Ian- she somehow got the impression that that was a trait Torri had picked up from Ricki herself. Ricki hated to see things get too awkward and always tried her best to try and solve them- although that wasn't always really taken very kindly to, because people didn't appreciate Ricki butting into their buisness. Didn't really mean that Ricki gave up- she acknowledged that she was a bit too nosey for her own good, but at the end of the day, she was just trying to do some good in the world- although, off late, she'd learnt how to draw herself a couple of lines.
"Well, that wasn't half bad." she said encouragingly as she gave Lorelai a weak smile. "Things could've been a looot worse." She nodded at her former team mate, shrugging slightly before looking over at Liv and Coffee. "Is he trying to tell me that he doesn't want to be a mascot? He doesn't seem very happy at my idea is what I'm gathering." she mused, attempting to move her thoughts away from Lorelai and Ian, finishing her plain pancakes quickly (leaving a quarter for Cuil in the plate just incase)- chocolate sauce didn't seem to matter anymore.
"Thanks for the pancakes Liv! They were amazzingg - and it was nice to talk to you some more! But I'm gonna follow the trend and leave... " Ricki shot Lorelai a look to let her know that it wasn't anything in co-relation to her. "I think I'm going to hunt down Ivy. She's probably hiding away in the Rec Room." Ricki rolled her eyes- knowing for a fact that Ivy was sitting in the rec room watching Angel. "That girl needs to get out a bit more. She's been well..." in quarantine for a longgg time "that girl just needs a life." Ricki joked.
"Cyaa all! You can come with me if you want Cuil- although, you like sticking around Liv, dontcha?" Ricki grinned at the sparrow, before hopping up and waving goodbye at the company of paragons, exiting out to the corridor, catching a glimpse of Ian and Torri and also the new (to her anyway) guy - Fleet.
"Don't worry, I'm not butting in... I am just going to go see if I can hunt down Ivvyyy, although I have a pretttyyy good guess on where she is." Ricki rolled her eyes once again, hurrying past Ian and Torri with a bright smile.

Liv's brow furrowed with confusion as Ian thanked her for breakfast and beat a hasty retreat from the kitchen. She watched him go with no small amount of disappointment and glanced at her roommate. Liv had been enjoying Ian's enthusiasm and playfulness. The crowded table and the laughter that had filled the kitchen had softened the blow of her first morning away from home, and Ian's awkward departure at little more than Lorelai's appearance left the table feeling a bit empty and deflated her mood.
Don’t get involved, she warned herself. Stay the hell out of it.
She was going to ignore whatever had just happened...really, she was. Liv didn’t have the information to piece together the truth, so the best thing she could do was keep quiet. She went back to the table and started clearing Ian’s spot to give herself something to do and laughed at Ricki's question. “Yeah, Coffee passes on the mascot offer, goo-girl. Although, I think you’d make a kickass mascot for a rock band, Coffee. You’re totally badass.” She grinned at the rabbit and scraped the abandoned plate clean over the garbage before moving to the sink.
Cuil, finished with his biscuit, returned to Liv's shoulder. His beady eyes alert as he looked over the kitchen. Two-leggers, he said dismissively. Glad yer not like them...
Liv shushed him and nodded to Torri as the kid darted out after Ian. She went to work cleaning the empty batter bowl at the sink and the pans that were left on the stove. Her easy grin never left her face, but behind her laughing eyes, Liv’s mind was working rather quickly. She like Lorelai. They got along easily and Liv considered the girl a friend. Not to mention they were roommates and teammates... but something was wrong.
Kyle and Ricki left in short succession, leaving Lorelai and Liv alone with Coffee. What the hell is going on? she wondered. Her resolve to stay out of it wavered and Liv's eyes slid to Cuil. "Go," she whispered, "and stay out of sight." The little bird dipped his head and took off into the hall as Liv turned to Lorelai.
“Holy crap, Lore. Can you clear a room or what?"

A bunch of people came out of the kitchen all at once. Lian assumed their breakfast was over which was more than fine for her. She had just woken up... well half woken up, and she needed coffee. Coffee was her drug every morning before having a secret cigarette. Most mornings she needed to sneak out of her and Sky's window and then take a shower so the teachers didn't question the smell. Lian knew that they knew though since Emma Frost was a freaking telepath. There was no getting around her. But Lian appreciated the mutual respect they had for one another and couldn't complain about the leniancy she and her group got away with.
Lazily walking through the kitchen door, she grunted a hello while passing Torri, Ian and Kyle and nearly got wacked in the face by Ricki. But she was able to scratch her head and close her already narrow eyes as she found her way to the coffee machine. "Eh," she said to her two teammates with a nod. That was her greeting, and she didn't care how it sounded. Coffee always came first. She got herself a mug from the cabinet and poured herself a cup. The best thing about loving your coffee black, was not adding anything. It was just strong, pure coffee grain/ caffeinated goodness.
