Ricki blushed, for what must've been the ten billionth time today. "My co-ordination is just a little off right now," she claimed in her defense, unable to hold back a slight embarrased smile. "I'm a little whoozy in the head- you see, all this attention from the Acolyte heart-throb is beginning to make me rather lightheaded." Her words passed for a joke, considering her voice held an amused tone to it, but if only Gavin knew how true her words really were. She shook the thought out, enjoying the comfort that came with their moment. "I'll save you a dance for a time when I'm a little more stable," she said in a low tone, soft giggles underlining her words, "It's about time I start putting the posh dance lessons Karin, Liz, Jess and I went to, to some good use."
It caught her off guard at times, how much of an intense person Gavin really was, in contrast to the light-hearted goofy-guy attitude he tended to wear more often. It was probably what she liked about him so much: he was as real as they got. He was always so straightforward, and a generally light hearted guy, and he never did let on how much things were bothering him. Ricki saw him as being pretty selfless, in the sense, that he'd never ruin someone elses day, just because he may have had a bad one himself. He was more caring and thoughtful than Ricki, or anyone in general, would've often given him credit for.
"I guess P!NK had the same idea as your mom," Ricki mused after a moment of comfortable silence, "God is a DJ, Life is a Dancefloor," Ricki had a broader taste in music in comparison to most of the people she knew. She liked her selection of Rock Music, but she was also a big fan of Instrumentals, Classical Music and Pop Music. She went on songs based more on Lyrics, than music. The music always added to the atmosphere, but the Lyrics always tended to hold the most importance for Ricki, which probably explained why she almost had an encyclopedia of song lyrics in her brain, which she never failed on using whenever she felt the time was right. She sighed softly into Gavin's chest, feeling like she could just stay this way in his arms forever. "You get what you're given, it's all how you use it."
