"... And yeah, my folks always prefered Priya to me, 'cause she was just always so perfect and robotic and turned out to be one of those great research doctors." Jax rolled his eyes, stroking Ana's hair while he held her in his arms on the couch. The two of them had been cuddled up on this couch for a good two hours now, and with the slight dispute here and there, surprisingly enough they hadn't actually gotten into any kinda huge argument, and damn was Jax not complainin' one damn bit about it. He'd just spend the last half hour or so tellin' Ana a little about his family, and how he found out about the school, and his trip here, after Ana'd told him a little about her family and how things were in Finland for her while growing up. He was just explaining to Ana why his parents prefered his elder sister to him, and why he didn't really care all that much about his Dad. "I mean, my ma was reasonable with me, but my pop just didn't want the word mutant staining the family name, ya know? Ma got used to it after a while- despite being religious and all- but the dad never really got over it, but yeah, him and I aren't on the best t-" BUZZZZ Jax stopped talking as he felt something vibrate in his jean pocket. "Uh-" a confused look flashed on his face, considering the fact that he couldn't figure out who on earth would text him, especially at this time of the night. His mates back home wouldn't really wonder about him until a week or so had passed 'cause Jax was known to cut school every now and then, and no one in his house would bother messaging him. He shifted Ana a little to reach down for his phone, and when he got it out, the new message flashed on his screen, bearing Joce's name. "-it's.. Joce." Jax was still confused- why was Joce texting him at this time? Knowing her she'd probably hunt him down with burning torches n' all. Wait till I tell you about how I got the albino chick to have go all basket case. xoxoxo Jax raised his eyebrow at the text, but didn't bother replying just yet- he knew Ana wouldn't be thrillied about him texting another girl while he was with her, even if it was only Joce. "Looks like we missed out on some drama, chicka-" Jax said with a half curious expression as he tucked his phone back into his pocket. "Hmph, what's the deal with that Albino chick anyway?" He asked Ana, who was slightly drowsy at this point, but still listening to him and keeping up conversation. Even though Jax favoured curves on women, that Albino chick just gave him the creeps. She was more scary, than she was sexy. Somethin' about her was just plain out cold, and it didn't really gel with Jax. "One look at her gave me shudders- and they sure as hell weren't good ones."

Ana didn't even bother holding back the roll of her eyes when she saw who texted him. She shifted her body slightly along the couch. It was a long enough couch for her to stretch out with her long legs across the couch and for her to lay her head comfortably on Jax's chest. "She... I no have contact with her and I like to keep it like that. She try and kill everyone in school once, she out of her mind," she said plainly, shrugging her slim shoulders while she stayed tucked into Jax's side, her back against the couch. "Veronika hate her, think she classless and act like cavewoman. She always go and start problems with Rumble, that guy all teachers glare at when we had dinner. He no like her though, calls her fat and slut all the day." A big smile came on her face at the thought of Rumble and she had to suppress the urge to giggle. "It a little funny to see. I hear rumors she used to be prostitute, which would explain a lot I think about her behavior and how she dress."
She stayed quiet for a moment though, Haven not being exactly a focus on her mind. She didn't have any personal issues with her and other than the fact than all her shirts were disgustingly low cut. Ana's focus was more on the things that her and Jax were talking about, and how he spoke of his family. They had more in common than she anticipated, and she couldn't help but wonder if that's why they were so drawn to each other. "At least your parents pay enough attention to you to know you alive and complain, you know," she said quietly looking up at him and giving him a weak smile.
"I no have brothers or sisters, but my parents still not notice me at all. The last time they even took me out for birthday was when I was eight. They let me come with them to my father's boat for a cocktail party. Every year after that, they let me throw big party and invite all friends, but they never came. Father is always doing business, and mother is always at a party. They hired Niilo to oversee that I get anything I want so they have more time to do what they want," she spoke about it all in a calm and quiet voice, wondering why she was telling him something so intensely private, but it was a sign of mutual trust, as she had a good feeling that he kept his family life as private as hers.
Ana laid her head back on his chest, snuggling into him further. "I understand it though, I know they very busy, but I still wish they spend more time with me. I got my modeling contract when I turn twelve, and they have still never come to one photo shoot or runway show. I just don't know what to do to let them think I good enough." Her arm slunk around his chest, hugging him slightly. "Your parents may not be kind, but at least they know you around. And I sure I prefer you over your sister. Girls bother me sometimes," she added quite seriously, as she found them to be as catty, though coming from her that didn't mean much.

Jax payed little attention to the last few words Ana had said, something else had caught his attention. Did she just say... "Did you just say you have a modelling contract?" He asked, as she hugged his chest, blinking a good few times into midspace. No wonder she looked freaking familiar. He thought it was because he reminded her of one of his mates back home- which she kinda did, but all his mates always told her that she resembelled this model they'd all seen on magazine covers which chicks carried around. Now that he thought back a little further, he was pretty damn sure Ana looked freaking identical to the girl on a poster in his mate's bedroom.
Oh fu... "Ana, tell me it wasn't you who was enclosed as one of them free poster things in one of them chick magazines like a year ago? Blue hotpants and some offshoulder top?" The question was in a way rhetorical, 'cause Jax was pretty damn sure that it was infact Ana. Oh fack it. Just his luck. Most guys in his place would be jumpin' with joy right this minute, but Jax was gettin' pissed. This meant, that there were probably like a billion guys out there perving on his girlfriend in their bedrooms right now, and doing f*ck knows what while staring at her picture. Oh hell no. This was not happenin'.
"You're the chick all my mates used to stare like twits at when they saw you in them magazines that Lucy used to carry around?!" Jax lowered his eyes, to look at Ana, completely and utterly freakin' bewildered. "Oh hell no, chicka. You have got to be freakin' kidding me." he growled, almost frozen in place, their previous conversation holding little importance right this minute. "Sure explains why I felt like I'd seen ya before when I first saw ya, but hell chicka, tell me I was just speakin' gibberish for the last few minutes. Please."

"You mean the issue Vogue did during fashion week on designers? Yes," Ana said carefully, wondering what was so terrible about that. "That was my first appearance ever in fashion magazine that go all over the world, from last year." She pushed herself up and used her hand to push his arm off her. The glare on her face was back, a mixture of hurt and anger swirling in her eyes. "You are asshole you know that?" Ana said scooting on the other end of the couch and used her telekinesis to throw his legs off so she wouldn't be touching him anymore.
"I tell you something personal that I not usually tell anyone and you focus on me being model. And on top of that, you upset at me for it! God you just are... ASSHOLE!" She punched him right in his stomach to make his point. In truth, she felt damn stupid then for even making the attempt to open up and share something that effected her like that. He was just like every other single guy that ever wanted something with her. It would all be good until they learned that she was a model and would either get giddy and excited and call all their friends or they'd get upset because her career threatened theirs.
Ana bit her lip angrily and shook her head, crossing her legs while she stared in the opposite direction of Jax. "This stupid. We always fight, which I no mind so much because I like making up, but we can't even talk. Oh sure you talked all you wanted about yourself, that all good, but second I share anything with you, none of it counts except for the detail that probably mean most to you. The only thing we both agree on is kissing," she said angrily. "That was first and last time I ever tell you anything like that, though I sure you thrilled. God you are just so... URGH!" Ana stood up from the couch and walked across the room to hop on the dryer, crossing her arms as her legs dangled down. She was a mix of fuming anger and hurt, and she was not going to keep quiet about it.

Jax sighed, he coulda sworn that this chick here was looking for excuses to be mad at him, and hell was she driving him nuts with it. OK, so she did have a point, but everything after the word modeling had become slightly hazy to Jax- if she'd mentioned that part last, maybe his reaction might've been a little different. OK, it probably wouldn't have been that different, but still, he liked to think otherwise. "Chicka, you drive me insane." he growled as he pushed up from the couch, and walked over to Ana, his hands falling on either side of the dryer that she sat on, sort of pinning her into place- mind you, there wasn't much he could do if she decided to flick his arms off that dryer with her mind. That thought just made him grip onto the dryer a little harder.
"Listen to me chicka, When you start talking, the first thing you mention is modeling, and I get this sudden realization that you're the chick all my mates back home used to... well.." he sighed, "look at in a way I sure as f*ck don't like. And then the thought strikes me that there are a billion people out there who can be staring at a picture of you right now- and it just weighed me down a little bit, chicka." He caught her angry eyes, staring at her softly. "I ain't gonna lay one on you to try and make this better," he added, as he noticed the slight rage in her eyes due to the closeness. She probably figured he'd just kiss her and hope things got better.
Well, here was a shock: Jax, despite being a lot of things, wasn't really shallow. "I don't want just our physical attraction to be the basis of a relationship chicka, I really don't." He cocked his head to one side to get a little more on level with her, hoping to get a good reaction out of her. "I ain't gonna try to justify what I did there chicka, but for what it's worth I did hear ya, but I just really got caught off guard." His lips pressed into a thin line, twisting into an uncertain expression. Ana was taking stabs at his ego like woah- making him feel this guilty, and feelin' like he needed to make sure she was alright with him, but strange as it seemed, he didn't really care for now. For now. "And what I gotta say about what you said earlier chicka, is that it's their loss." His eyes softened as he stared at her. "They don't know what they're missing out on." he actually shot her a bit of a smile- something that was dead rare on Jax's arrogant face. "Mind you, maybe you should talk to them about it chicka. Tell them how ya feel about it all? Folks like ours need the most basic things spelt out t'them."

The glare fell from Ana's face and she had a look of hesitant sadness on her face. "They not around long enough to talk. I have to give Niilo message if I have something to say," she said quietly, giving him a weak smile. There was a very good reason that she didn't tell people about her parents, and other than how sad she got about it, even though she tried her hardest not to, it was also difficult for people to understand. Jax's parents, assholes as they might have been, still loved him and had wanted him. Ana's parents didn't exactly not want her, as she was the missing piece that completed their expected picture perfect image, but they just didn't have time for her. She was raised by nannies and bodyguards, and only saw her parents on occasion. Though they always had a present for her when they saw her, she still wished they would see her as something more than a pet.
"And for last time, do I look Hispanic to you? Stop calling me 'chicka' I feel like I should be wearing large earrings, have butt that only fit in generic brand clothing, and wear low cut halter while heavy with second child." Ana had uncrossed her legs and obviously wasn't going to push him away, but it would be a cold day in hell the day she didn't speak her mind. "Honestly, there so many other names you can call me. You have baby, babe, sweetheart, pudding, whatever! Just pick one where I no have to feel like I have to stand next to you, chew my gum loud and call you 'papi' or some trash name like that." She poked him in the chest to make her point and then slid down from the dryer, glaring up at him, not fazed at all that he pretty much had her pinned to the dryer.
"As for me being model, get over it. I not going to stop something I love because you have problem with it. They may have me on wall, but you have me right here. I would think you get better end of deal. I not deal with you acting like caveman because other people look at me. It just a job, and would you not rather have people look at me in magazine than stare at me in front of you?" Ana pointed out, raising her thin perfectly shaped eyebrows at him knowingly. Her arms wound loosely around his waist as she leaned up to place a light peck on his cheek. "How you jealous over people you not even know, I will never know. But stop, I not fight with you the way I do because I like someone else. And I won't invite you to my photo shoots or runway shows if you act like brute. Okay?" Her back against the dryer, her baby blue eyes peered at him carefully, trying to see if he got her point at all.

Did she think that was a threat? Not inviting him to photoshoots or runways? Damn she needed another think coming- but Jax wasn't going to be stupid enough to comment on it. He'd rather be on the spot when Ana was around these practically naked men. Despite whatever Ana'd just said, he still didn't like the idea of her modelling one damn bit, and he wasn't really gonna even try to hide it. He wasn't gonna apologize for not liking the fact that his girl was being touched up by all these other men. It just wasn't on. "I still don't like it, but I think we can give that conversation a rest for now- yeah?" Jax had a scowl on his face, not bothering to hide his unhappiness.
He sighed, looking at Ana, the envious thoughts about a million men still floating in a corner of his head. "Maybe you should tell this Niilo guy to tell them that you demand a meeting with them." he said, switching the topic back to Ana and her parents, finding that a safe zone to enter in comparison to the conversation of other guys oogling at and touching his girlfriend. "You gotta make your feelings known to them ch- uh I mean... baby? Oh god no, that sounds freakin' pathetic!" A near enough repulsed look shot across his face, not at all liking the sound of the nickname on his lips. "Ugh, let's see... uh sweeth- uh no, that just sounds wrong too." He growled, his face twisting into a confused expression as he thought of something suitable to call Ana that didn't sound competely weird coming out of his mouth.
Darling?.. Uh, no. Baby? Ugh, sounds even worse in my head, - Oh man... this is so su- OH man. Got it. "... Kitten?" He paused for a second, a smug expression crossing his face as he decided that he liked that nickname. "Kitten you are, kitten, don't make me think on it again- I think it suits ya pretty damn well." He shot her a teasing smirk. "Anyway, what was I saying before? Uh.. oh yeah- you gotta say it straight out to them kitten." He laid his hand gently on her arm, stroking her smooth skin. "I know it's hard Ana- I ain't in the exact same shoes as you, but I can relate kitten, you probably want them to realize it for themselves but sometimes you just gotta say what you want outr-" BUZZZZZ The feel of something vibrating vigerously in his pocket and against the dryer caused Jax to cut off mid-sentance.
He sighed. "Whatever happened with Joce musta been real wicked-" he said pulling his phone out with a bit of a confused expression on his face "or she would'nt text tw-" Jax cut off in his sentance once again, his eyes popping wide, almost out of their sockets, as he stared at the words Download Completed on his phone and watched a folder with Ana's name fill out on his phone. His eyebrows shot up, considering the first picture was of Ana in a baby blue bikini. "What the hell Ana!" Jax growled, looking from his phone to Ana, and back to his phone, completely and utterly bewildered. Turns out his power had kicked in without his knowledge and downloaded a folder full of pictures of Ana in her photoshoots. "You can't be freakin' serious. You're telling me half the freakin' world has already seen you in blue goddamn underwear?!"

"What?! What are you talking about I never-" Ana grabbed the phone in a panic, as her reputation in the fashion world had not yet gone to the lingerie deals. When she saw what he was actually looking at, she looked up at him with a look of disbelief and sending a glare at him. "...I'm in a bikini here! I was wearing it other day at the pool! God you are unbelievable!" Not even bothering to push him, she used her telekinesis to push him back a couple of steps, walking right back up to him and poking him with the hand that still held his phone. "I no get it, it only a picture! And it not a revealing one at all!"
Ana threw her hands up in exasperation and pocketed his phone in her back pocket, the look on her face just daring him to take it from her. "Of all thing to get mad at, it me in bikini?! I understand the perfume ad where I with that man on roof, or even the one from last Christmas, but this one? I just stand there with beachball in simple bikini! You saw me wear one already!" she shrieked and folded her arms across her chest, glaring at him for a moment longer before looking away and biting her lip in thought. "Is this gonna be a problem? Me modeling I mean." Her voice was still angry but quieter.
"I no want to worry about you being mad at me whenever I go for job. I love it, and I... not hate you too. Though why sometimes I wonder, but the point is I not going to give modeling up for you or anyone. So I must know." Ana turned to look at him, uncrossing her arms as her baby blue eyes looked up at his hesitantly. "Is this to be problem?" she asked quietly, biting her lip anxiously. After a minute of no answer, Ana let out a slight breath and reached back into her pocket to take out his phone before tossing it on the couch. "Fine." She turned on her heel and walked out of the room, slamming the door with her telekinesis pretty damn hard. Right now, what she wanted was a nice warm bath and to sit on her bed and Hercules. That movie always made her feel better and the anger and hurt that was eminating off her made it apparent she needed something to feel better about.
