Wraith was headed to breakfast, his stomach grumbling and his nose picking up the aroma of a new day. The mansion was coming alive but of course the teen hadn't taken notice of his fellow peers. His invisibility made it hard to feel apart of the same world as everyone else. He found himself having to concentrate to pay attention to even the largest of details. He really had become a ghost in this world. Nonetheless this ghost planned on getting a bite to eat. He was jostled and bumped into as he finally made his way into the cafeteria. By now he was licking his lips with apprehension as he tried to think up his breakfast order. He could see his fellow students eating their own meals, wrapped up in their own affairs.
Wraith made his way to the food dispenser and eye sit curiously. He had used it twice before but the machine was still strange to him. He poked at it, trying to illicit a response. Pictures and words popped on display, enough to delicious imagery to may the boy's mouth water. There were so many choices, he didn't know what to chose. he thought back to home where on the weekends his Mom would make a breakfast for he and his siblings. He, Leo, and Kyle would always fight over the last scrap of bacon until Jake or Nora split them up. He felt a pang of homesickness just thinking about it. It may have been only a couple days but it felt like weeks since he had seen them all.
He finally decided on a Shapiro family, classic breakfast. Eggs, sunny side up, waffles smothered in syrup and peanut butter, sausage links, bacon, french toast, Canadian bacon (ham slices really), toast with plenty of butter and jam, an apple, and topped all off with a three cheese omelet. A small breakfast really. He greedily waited while the dispenser gave him his order. It reminded him of the mornings before he, his brothers, and Dad would spend the day int he woods. They had a big breakfast and would spend the day fishing, or hunting. Matt lived for the outdoors. Wraith, he wasn't do sure anymore.
With the heaping tray in hand Wraith looked for a place to sit. For the moment it just looked like a floating pile of breakfast was drifting through the air. Wraith spotted Chase, and recalling his bruised sternum he decided to stay away from him. His eyes then fell upon a group of acolytes at a table. He quickly made his way over and dropped his tray on the table. "Boo!" he called out jokingly. He sat down next to the cute girl, also noting the blond guy. Being invisible had done wonders for his normally shy demeanor. He was making bounds in the social field now, at least he was getting better at talking to people. "So how are we all doing this morning," he asked as he took a big bite out of his apple. To all around it would seem to be a floating apple with chunks disappearing into oblivion.

"And that was when I started- AHHHH!" Kevin was so busy talking to Maddy that he didn't see Wraith come up and when the tray dropped on the table he quickly snapped his head around to look. Out of a sense of fright or just merely from being startled he cried out in mid sentence "Matt you colossal dickweed! Oh, sorry Maddy, pardon my French. I don't curse like that usually, but this guy and his permanent look ma no hands, or anything else, trick just freaked me out sorry."
Kevin didn't get Matt sometimes. He felt bad for the guy not being able to turn his power off, but the way he made a game out of it at the expense of others was getting to be slightly annoying. "Matt, how many times are you going to do that? Doesn't it get old after a while?" Kevin didn't think he would be that inconsiderate of others if he was invisible like the Wraith, but then he didn't know what it was like so he really couldn't judge. "I think that idea about you wearing a bell is gonna catch on, so don't get too comfy Mr.Sneakypants."
He turned back to Maddy "Well, at least I hope it catches on. Anyway where was I- Oh, right so yea THAT was when I started working out really intensely. Ian's great and I've learned a lot from him." He looked back over his shoulder at the door to the kitchen. "Him and Niki have been gone for a really long time huh? Wonder what's up? So did I hear right- you and Niki are gonna go skating later? That is like a great exercise, you do it often?"

Jasper ate his meal slowly, finding himself just slightly impressed with how well Heather was handling everything. Truth be told, a part of him expected her to be depressed and angry while possibly causing a scene about it. Yet here she was, looking perfectly content and acting extremely mature about the whole situation. That didn't mean that Jasper approved of Gavin stringing her along, he should have known that Heather was not the type of girl that would go into a loose and casual relationship. She had a large heart, and had far more self respect than to be in a relationship for any reason other than her genuine feelings for the person. It was something that he admired about her, a trait that the two them shared with one another that bonded them closer as friends.
Heather was like a little sister to him, someone that he cared for very much which didn't happen often before the New Mutants became such a strong team. Riker as their unofficial leader taught them how to see the other as a family. It was something that was always missing from Jasper's life before then, and he took it all very seriously. "If jou are alright vith it, zhen I really have nothing to complain about. I still don't like it," he added with a grumble, looking her over carefully to see if she was hiding away her feelings. It wasn't likely though, as the pretty blonde always wore her heart on her sleeve, whereas he often hid his deep within the layers that made up his character.
It made his heart leap in his throat at the thought of telling his love all that lay in his heart. To finally be able to be true to his emotions and be true to her would make him feel like a new man. Jasper was not naive of course, he realized that she didn't return his feelings currently. Someone as beautiful as her, as intelligent and elegant would not look twice at someone like him, especially with the way he'd been behaving the past couple of months. He was willing to prove it to her though, to work to earn her love and prove that he would cherish her the way that she should be adored. Jasper would show her that his love was true, and he wouldn't ever let her down. His eyes wandered to the table she normally sat and found himself drifting off, imagining his love in the middle of her routine and waiting for her to pass through the cafeteria, which she did like clockwork every morning. It was the best part of his morning, and the motivation for him to get up from bed at this god awful time and come down to eat.

Lurai's eyes remained narrowed as Heather spoke, and they were supposed to be placating enough to spare the birdboy. She slowly sat back down, restraining herself and trying to make sure she behaved at least somewhat, and grumbled. "Fine," she said, her voice curt and even somewhat pouty. "He is spared...for now. I see what you mean about mates, but if he hurts you again in any way, I will have his wings. I have always liked chicken wings," she said, snatching up some food from her plate. "And then I will tell Riker, and then he will get what he deserved for hurting one of my pack."
She could tell that things probably weren't fully resolved, and could gather that it would still bother Heather, but Gavin got his first and last reprieve solely because Heather pleaded and put it in terms she could understand. It was extremely tempting to hunt him out right then and there, but she said she would not, and she was going to restrain herself this time. Riker had long learned how to handle things without completely turning into the animal, and it was high time she did...or at least tried. To keep herself from going back on her word, she stuffed her face and finished her plate. When it was empty, she was still grumbling, so she got up and stalked off to get more breakfast food. It seemed she was hungry all over again.

"You got it Ronnie, I'll put my 'skills' to some good use," Sky said with a smirk, interlacing her fingers and stretching them out so they cracked in place. She winked at Dor and twirled the fork in her hand. "Rex taught me well, there ain't a lock that I can't pick somehow. She'll never know we went in. Don't worry Gerogia, I'll show ya the ropes, I got a talent for breaking in the new kids." The smirk widened into a grin as her sleepy eyes freely looked Dor up and down. It was never too early in the morning to flirt a bit, or make someone squirm. "Speaking of newbies, why isn't Dante back? He said he'd probably be back after the smoke?" she said looking around the cafeteria. "I'm missing my bad boy eye candy, though it is nice to sit and not have to worry about Titless restraining herself from keeping her pants on and jumping him."
Sky stuck her tongue out Lian and let out a loud *BURPPP*, grinning at the table proudly. "That's how you do it ladies," she said with a giggle taking another chug of the Red Bull. "Chase, you gotta get your butt up to the room with the photo copies quick. And don't worry, I got the super glue." She patted the pocket of her pants with a mischievous smirk on her face. They had a lot of fun planning the Snowslut's demise, and she had to hand it to Veronika, she was a conniving little thing for someone so sweet.
"I still think it would be better if we gave her a blanket party. Well at least I'll feel better," Sky said with a yawn and went back to her food. "You know what this needs? HOT SAUCE! And you know, some chipotle sauce wouldn't have killed ya newbie. Be a man, get hot sauce from now on." She pointed her fork at him with a smirk. "Either that or start copying Georgia's accent here," she added with another wink at Dor.

It was a constant thought she had since the previous night. The talk with Veronika really showed Heather how much she loved Gavin in her life and she cared for him even if that meant him being just a friend. It was more than a crush, what she felt for him. But she would get over it as people naturally did. She never understood why so many people were angry and short tempered with break ups (if she could call it that). To the water manipulator, things happened and people are the way that they are. She could only deal and accept it, with few exceptions. Seeing that Lurai was containing her animal rage, Heather sighed with appreciation and gave the wolf a smile. "Deal," she replied while making a mental note to make sure Gavin didn't persuade Lurai to eat his wings. He really didn't need everyone giving him an evil look every time he walked by or Heather was in the room. She wasn't a fan of animosity to those who didn't deserve it. And Gavin didn't deserve it. After several minutes, she finished her food and looked over to the other tables. The Paragons were very busy with something and Ian and Niki were missing. She believed them to have been spending some more quality time together and shrugged it off. "So what do you think will be asked of us at Team Practice?" she asked trying to change the subject and mood. Jasper seemed really down and she knew it wasn't about Gavin. As much as Heather knew Jasper cared about her, he couldn't have been that mad over a little thing. Lurai was just her usual self.

"Yeah, yeah I GOT it. Shit." Chase shoveled the last of his biscuits and gravy into his mouth. "I phink yew juth wanna thee me phwuke yew bwitchy phwat nag." He managed to spittle the words out through a tiny hole his lips allowed for with his cheeks so jammed full of food they puffed out like a squirrel storing Mini Coopers for the winter. He stood up with a drool of gravy-ish spit running down to his plate.
With a gigantic nasty SLUURRP he sucked most of it back into his mouth as he rushed from the table dropping his plate and all the leftover drippings and droppings into Dor's lap with a classic cheeseball Chase-style grin. "Hey thanks for takin care of that for me. You and the fetus make sure to clean up after the team when they split." As he walked past him up to Kris he thumped Hemlock in the shoulder to look like it was a hard shot but it really wasn't, "Let's go Binch."
He pulled him up from his seat and pointed a wavy finger at the camera. "Did I say bitch or Binch? Whatevah lets go an don'ya be forgettin dat thingy ovah dere mon." He didn't want to hurt the kid or his possible chances with him, but he had a rep to protect so he played it cool around the rest of them and thought maybe being a dick to him might be a possible angle he could play. However things went though Chase was kinda excited to see what was goin to happen next as the two walked out of the cafeteria, camera in hand.

Dor blinked at the mess that had been dropped in his lap, his dark eyes more amused than insulted. What did he have to be offended by? Dor was new, and his team leader was thinking to just break him in, but Dor didn’t do chores. He was a Jameson, thank you very much. The linguist gave a sleepy little yawn and flexed his fingers, the joints cracking loudly before he brushed them through his dark hair. He spared the pile of plates in front of him with little interest. “What’s that? You want reMOVE to bin ya? Aw, shucks. And here Ah was all ready to jump to like a butler. Well, Ah suppose Ah understand.” With a swift movement, Dor heaved the plates onto the table in front of reMOVE, the warmth of his dozy smile not reaching his eyes. “There ya go, fella. And that one there,” he pointed to a juice cup, “would like you to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to it.”
With a yawn he pulled Sky’s chair out for her and winked. “After you, darlin. Let’s see you in action.”

"It's about god damn time," she said after finally receiving her coffee from reMOVE. Ironically her statement was suitable for the fact that the team was finally commencing their revenge. Lian was able to ignore Sky's comments about Glitch and simply drink her coffee.
The Paragons discussed the final plans for their revenge, making quick and clever decisions as well as more than humorous conclusions. It was interesting how Chase and Veronika's power had shifted somewhat. Chase use to be the official unofficial leader of the Paragons. And even though he was a suitable leader, Lian couldn't help but realize how quickly it seemed that Veronika was slowly taking that position. Of course Lian believed Veronika had every right to lead the revenge plot, mainly since she was attacked by the snow bitch.
Breakfast was almost over for the students and the Paragons started to throw out their trays and place their dishes in the appropriate areas. Gonna have to do those later too, she grumbled to herself as she placed her plate and utensils on the already large pile. F*ckin' hell man, she continued before focusing on the future events of the day...
