NAME: Wallace West
AGE: 16
POWER:
Animal Mimicry - Wally has the ability to imitate the attributes of different animals. These abilities present themselves in a physical manner. If he tries to imitate gills on a fish, he will sprout gills from his neck. Or if he tried to imitate tiger claws, claws would spring forth from his fingers.
Only in the most intense of scenarios his entire body will take on the aspect of the animal he is mimicking. When in this dire situations, his body will morph more severely and take on a human animal hybrid. This can cause Wally to lose some of his humanity and become more animal like until he is calmed completely or knocked out.

THE EVENTS OF MY POWERS EMERGENCE:
We were stationed in California, at the Army base next to the beach. This was one of the best places we had lived. I was able to get out of school early enough to enjoy the beach almost everyday. I learned how to surf and scuba dive. With my father working everyday on some special projects, I never asked what it was, he would not get home until very late.
I went out with a group of other students to do some jet skiing. We took out a couple jet skis and were all riding around and jumping the waves the other would make. We would take turns switching at the docks. Always daring the others to do stupid tricks. None of us were willing to back down to a dare or challenge. Diving the jet skis under water and splashing out again. Trying to do 360 spins. It was all great fun.
Then it happened. The other kid riding the jet ski next to mine slipped and fell off his, his hand pulled the steering handle hard ot the side and the ski leaped up and slammed into my head. Knocking me off and under the jet ski. This plunged me deep into the water and into the current below. I had lost consciousness and did not resurface. I was told later on that they tried searching for me, for hours. The Coast Guard and even the army support kept searching for my body. Only I was being towed along the current deeper and deeper out into the ocean.
I thought is was a dream, everything was so dark and I was floating in nothing. I saw a wavering light above and tried ot reach for it. The hand I saw was not mine, It was something else, webbed and shimmering. I was swimming along now, through the water, feeling the current rushing around me and through me. I was a fish, breathing in the water and able to rocket through like i was flying. Getting caught up in the experience, I dove straight up and launched myself out of the water. The air hit my face and then filled my lungs. My hands came back to normal and i hit the water again hard. Slamming against the surface. I was awake and swimming to keep my head above water. A hour later I was finally found by a small fishing boat and brought home.
Ever since that day I had been trying to figure out what happened. And only when I took a trip to the zoo, did I begin to understand what was going on. Every exhibit I went to, I felt a stirring under my skin. Every animal I looked at made the back of my neck tingle. I could change my body in ways that I never expected. Any animal I seen, I could mimic.
Every time
