Rogue looked ahead and picked up her speed a bit more. The school was in site and only about several minutes away. She looked around and saw Lorelai looking around her on the cycle. She seemed OK for the most part, however Rogue was sure the Acolyte was still upset about the situation. Ian of course still was, considering his question and slight eagerness within it.
"Yes darlin' we are almost there," she said shaking her head with a smirk. "Why? Am Ah that bad of a pilot?"

Guardian felt they were all getting closer to the mansion. He recognized the landscape he always flew over whenever he went on one of his little stress relieving flights. He was a bit scared though, scared that Ms. Frost will throw him out of the school for what he had done and that he would have to resort to solitude once again, or if Ms. Frost actually wanted to help Aleksey deal with this problem.
Aleksey kept thinking of situations that wouldn't end in his favor. What if Ms. Frost was angry? What if she really was going to kick him out of the school? What if she cant help? After all, it wasn't Aleksey's fault that a monster lives within him. Aleksey knew that no matter what the situation, he had no choice but to go to her. "Umm, Rogue? What did Ms. Frost want to see me about exactly?" he asked her nervously.

As the flying formation approached the school Scott could see a strange glow emanating from the portion of the mansion where the kitchen was. 'That's not right, one more thing to look into. Gotta remember to add that to the list' he thought.
Veering downward he made sure the basketball court was free of debris as well as children before he keyed the center console of the Sky-Cycle and opened the hangar door. From above the group could see the basketball court behind the school split right down the middle and open up, the doors retracting as the yellow flashing safety lights and klaxon sounded in warning.
Looking around at them all his hand signal was simple enough for even Guardian, who's mind seemed to be elsewhere, to follow. He pointed down into the hole in the ground where the school meeting after the Brotherhood attack had been held just a few nights ago.

Lorelai remained silent as they continued their flight to the school, seeing that as they were approaching, they were coming to the basketball court. A thought occurred to her - this was probably what everyone including her had to have seen the night before. The Sky-Cycle was loud enough to hear, and she remembered seeing it go down into the ground, through the basketball court. She had seen it the night before, and figure the next day she was doing it too.
She had seen Cyclops signal to Rogue and Guardian to go down into the hole and looked down, seeing how deep it went into the hangar. They'd be back within minutes and then teachers would probably be informed and some rescue mission would probably be planned. She hoped she would be able to go; she wanted to help restore the normal state within the school and bring back two teachers that obviously meant a lot to the school and Aideen as well. She knew also that she wouldn't feel right until things were set straight, and she didn't think she'd feel right if she wasn't able to help like she was so determined to do.

Ian watched with wide eyes as the basketball courts opened up. That was the noise he heard last night! This was where they entered into the hanger. He looked at the sky cycle and realized that whoever came in last night was on the sky cycle. He should probably as Cyclops about that. His grip on Rogue's arms tightened as they went down into the Hanger. It was easy to recognize.
"Uh Teach, do me a favor don't let go of me till I got both feet on the ground. I don't think my ma would be too chill with me being dropped and all from here. Plus she'll kill me for messin' up my winter clothes more," Ian said looking down at his already dirty pants.

Lowering herself and Ian into the hanger, Rogue chuckled more as Ian expressed his fear of heights. "Ah darlin' you really need to relax," she said as sped up a bit more. The adrenaline rush was always something she liked. Being a thrill seeker and all, made her enjoy pushing buttons sometimes. However she was dealing with a student, not a colleague or friend, and would be the teacher she needed to be.
Following the Sky Cycle down, Rogue landed in the hanger and let Ian go. "Alright darlin' did you have a good flight?" she asked with a smile. She then looked to Scott for his further instruction and waited for everyone to land safely and get ready for what was to come.

Circling behind the rest, Guardian sped up a bit to catch up to the rest. He saw the Headmaster's signal from front and looked down at the open hanger. After Rogue made the landing, Guardian glided down through the air and retracted is wings landing safely besides Rogue and Ian. He could see the damage he had cause to the kitchen from where he was. He hoped K'8 was alright with the rest that were there earlier.
Clearing his thoughts again, Guardian concentrated on the Headmaster and Rogue for further instructions.

Bringing the Sky-Cycle to rest he keyed the control panel and began to shut the hanger door above them. The winter sky looked pink and purple above as the sun was setting finally.
"Everybody safe?" he inquired as he looked them over and dismounted the sky-cycle. "Lets get to Beast's Lab with this news." He walked with a brisk pace to the doorway leading out into the chrome hallway as the roofing above them clanged together and let out a hiss as it sealed itself in place. The sounding of the alarm and flashing yellow lights cut off and a normalcy returned to the very abnormal setting of an underground hanger below a basketball court.

Once his feet were on the ground, Ian brushed himself and looked back at Rogue and gave her an easy smile, though it was more tense than usual. "Thanks Teach lady. It's all good as long as I'm in one piece," he said smiling and turned to walk over to Lorelai. He wrapped grabbed her hand and helped her off the sky cycle. "Look at that babe, you didn't fall off the bike. You made me proud," he said with a grin, trying to ease her a bit since he knew she was worried about him earlier. With good reason she worried though. I mean I never get mad, but anyone would if they saw something like that.
Tugging on her hand, Ian then followed Cyclops to what he assumed was Beast's lab.Was I supposed to ask Teach about something? Yea I was... damnit I forgot. Ian thought and then the grim determined look came back on his face. We gotta find a way to get them back. And get in there. Beast is a smart dude, he's gotta know. And someone gotta let Spitfire know.

After finally landing, the silence from the Sky-Cycle no longer being on was a big difference to Lorelai, who had gotten accustomed to the noise. She was about to get off as Cyclops did, but she was helped off the bike by Ian, whose grin she returned, and couldn't help rolling her eyes at what would seem a marvelous feat not to have fallen off. She was relieved to see that Ian was safely back on the ground, since it had been apparent that he felt uncomfortable with the way he was flying.
When everyone was addressed to see if they were safe, she nodded and heard their destination, guessing the lab was the one place she hadn't been in the sublevels of the school. She kept up with her boyfriend who was tugging at her hand, and the grin that she had seen was gone, replaced by the newly familiar grimness that couldn't help but make her feel worried about him again, and so she gave his hand a comforting squeeze in hopes that it might quell him even in the slightest. On the way out of the hangar to the lab, she wondered what Beast had found out, since she was sure that he, like the rest of the faculty, was working on what the hell had happened.

Hearing Scott's instructions, Rogue nodded and began to follow him towards the chrome hallway and into the genetics lab. "Alright guys lets head out," she called out to them still looking ahead.
The entire situation was getting Rogue excited. Logan and Kurt were alive, she knew it! But she being the one with a hard exterior was not going to allow her emotions to run wild. Looking back slightly to make sure the students were following, Rogue noticed Ian and Lorelai holding hands. Aw how sweet, she smiled to herself. Young love. With that, she saw a flash of Gambit in her head. Her eyes narrowed and she bit her lip. Closing her eyes to forget the hurtful past, she hastened her pace slightly in order to catch up with Scott. She opened her eyes again, attempting to forget what just happened and focused on the mission that was to be assigned ahead. They needed to save Logan and Kurt and they needed to do it NOW.

Hearing the headmaster's instructions, Guardian straightened up and started following the crowd to Beast's Lab. The Headmaster was in front, followed by Rogue, then Ian and Lorelai, and finally Guardian. This small multitude of mutants walked towards the possibility of rescuing their friends and mentors. Onward they walked towards Beast's Lab.
