Ricki shook her head at Torri, before adding in an undertone, "Word of advice; don't rely on Ivy for everything." she shook her head at the thirteen year old before watching Gavin nudge Heather, and Heather kick him back. She stopped herself from laughing, this was so them. Ricki leaned forwards a bit to whisper into Gavins ear - seeing he was sitting in the seat in front of hers. "Are you sure you don't like her?" she teased, making sure her voice was low enough to stay away from Heather's ears. It had become sort of like a habbit for Ricki to tease Gavin 'bout Heather.
Her eyes skimmed upwards as Nightcrawler spoke, and the next thing she knew was he'd teleported the the back of the room. Ricki tensed, before relaxing again. She still hadn't gotten used to that. She sighed, before she turned around in her seat, to hear him speak. He'd sent Leah up to perform. Ricki'd never really crossed Paths with the Paragon before, and truth be told, she didn't want to either. She was just fine... not knowing her. Once Katana was done performing, Ricki joined in the light applause that ran through the room.

Gavin had been snickered when Heather kicked him, quieting only to hear Katana's performance. Rude as it may have been, he chose to give her the minimal respect and at least keep quiet during that performance. He leaned closer to Ricki to whisper to her quietly while keeping his eyes straight ahead. "What, jealous or something? She's fun to bother," he whispered with a slight smirk.
He moved both his feet under Heather's chair and then slowly lifted her chair a little off the ground with his legs. Heather didn't weigh all that much and Gavin's body was made of pure muscle so he could easily lift her. He lifted her up in her chair a couple of inches of the ground, holding her their for a little bit carefully so she wouldn't fall off the chair and then he let his feet fall and her chair hit the floor with a loud thud.
"Hey careful there Heather, you might get hurt," Gavin said with concerned look on his face before he broke out into a grin and snickered. His laugh only got louder when he heard Lian and Sky behind him, though he quickly shut up cause that seemed a little too mean. He stuck his tongue out childishly at Heather and then at Ricki too.

"OOOWWW!!" she hollered when her chair slammed to the ground. Heather's tailbone hit the edge of the chair making her scream so abruptly. Realizing how loud she was, she immediately covered her mouth and looked back to Gavin with such anger and disdain that her eyes couldn't be more narrow. These were the times that Gavin's jokes weren't funny anymore and Heather was just too pissed off. But her facial expressions were always so funny to the Acolyte (so she assumed do to him always laughing).
She looked quickly back to the stage and clapped for Katana. She was a poor soul and hearing Lian and Sky start to rip on her made her feel bad about the Paragon. But in a way Katana did bring upon herself. Heather just made sure to not add more pressure to the girl or more dislike. She then looked back to Gavin and breathed sharply. She wanted to punch his arm, hard. Luckily she did when Nightcrawler wasn't looking in her direction and was able to hit him significantly enough on his right forearm. She knew it wouldn't hurt him as much as he hurt her, but it was the principle of the matter.

Clapping lightly from the seat he occupied Kurt said "Nicely said, Leah. I vas hoping for a bit more description of zhe atmosphere of zhe house." he said shrugging his shoulders slightly. "It is in zhe air .." he reached his hand out in front of him grasping at the intangible before him "...I vant to know vhat it felt like for you children. Katana, you may take your seat."
"Let us see now eef..." he looked around the room to select the next performer "...Gavin can put some of his energy to zhe task. You are up Stormhawk." Nightcrawler looked at the children seated before him as he tried to explain more of what exactly he wanted to see.
"Descriptions... I vant descriptions. Use your bodies to evoke mit zhe tvisting und zhe contoring...show us vhat you felt vhen you vhere in zhe audience- und zhen make us feel it for ourselves vhen you do your scenes. O.K., pull zhe blinds some und set zhe mood." He said to Gavin with monumental excitement, as excited to see his performance as he had been to be witness to Leah's scene.

Ricki sighed at Gavins response, she couldn't help but sigh. The 'are you jealous' come back was so over-used. And the next thing she knew, he'd lifted Heather in the air on her chair, and dropped her down. She couldn't help but let out a laugh, especially when Heather screamed. She covered her mouth with the back of her hand to try to hide it. She paused for a moment, Gavin's comment towards her may have been over-used. But then again, Ricki's retorts weren't.
"You're not supposed to know that!" she hissed, "My jealousy isn't that obvious." she paused for half a second, "so leave me and my jealousy alone, in my happy bubble." she made a slight huffing noise, before she hear Nightcrawler speak. He commented on Leah's performance, telling her ways to improve it - though Ricki assumed the 'notes' were probably meant for the whole class. Next thing she knew was, Nightcrawler had called Gavin up to perform.
"Break a leg," she muttered, "and i do mean literally." she added, a small smile curving her lips.

Gavin stood up, still rubbing his arm and sticking his tongue out at Heather. "Yes Sir, Nightcrawler, I will go and serve you proudly," Gavin said with a salute, smirking at Ricki. "Be real Ricki, I'm not as clumsy as you to break a leg walking up on stage," he retorted with smirk. He went around his desk to walk up on the stage, flicking Heather's shoulder as he passed her.
"Ok well for the starters, if any of you know the story of Sweeney Todd, it's a very dark and morbid tale of a man who lived on Fleet Street in London back in the mid 1800s I think. He came after fifteen years of wrongful imprisonment to have revenge on the ones who stole his life from him. After fifteen years in an Australian prison, he comes back to London and no one recognizes him. So he has his revenge by going back to his old profession of being a barber. And the rest of it is too good and insane to give away, but thats the small synopsis of the story. So anyone who comes to see this play should expect a melancholy atmosphere. Think how London is portrayed to be in general, its a really foggy, rainy and generally gray sort of city. Now on stage, there is a large tapestry in the center that shows the classical image of Sweeney Todd thats showed in books. The theater is dark and the only light focused is on the center of the stage," Gavin began to tell as he adjusted the blinds so it was generally almost fully dark in the large theater like classroom.
He then turned on one of the spotlights the aimed at the center of the stage to set the mood for the opening song. "Now keep in mind guys, this is musical more so than a play, though it did originally start out as a play. Anyways what makes this musical unique is that this was the only musical without an orchestra. Instead all the actors played an instrument as they were on stage,"he said moving to stand in the dark behind the spotlight. "Now the audience isn't sure what to expect, because the first thing they see as the play begins is the tapestry is ripped and the sound of scratching metal, and then comes the music," he said and with that got into the opening, just as he had watching it a billion times at his house.
Gavin stepped into the spotlight with a serious, sinister look on his face. "Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd," he sand in a deep loud voice while walking in the large spotlight, getting into the role and walking around to look at the people in the class. "His skin was pale and his eye was odd. He shaved the faces of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard of again," he sang with the same serious look. "He trod a path that few have trod, did Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." At the end of the part, Gavin walked out of the spotlight, and then stepped back into it from a different direction to show in turn who was singing. At this part, his voice went slightly higher, but the sinister look on his face remained. With all those years in band, he had a good control on his pitches. "He kept a shop in London Town," Gavin sang, pointing somewhere behind him. "Of fancy clients and good renown. And what if none of their souls were saved? They went to their Maker impeccably shaved." He made a motion with his hand across his face to indicate the shave. "By Sweeney, By Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," he sang the last part in the same sinister voice and stopped pacing around the spotlight to stand in the center.
"Swing your razor wide, Sweeney, Hold it to the skies! Freely flows the blood of those who moralize!" Gavin held both his hands up in the air as if he was holding razors when he sang that part. "His need were few, his room was bare: a lavabo and a fancy chair," Gavin sang pacing again and making a motion with his hands of the room being bare. "A mug of suds and a leather strop, An apron, a towel, a pail and a mop." He gave his audience the full attention, just like in the musical as if he was talking right to them. "For neatness, he deserves a nod. Does Sweeney Todd,, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." Gavin sang with a nod and then went back to the center of the spotlight. The next verse had to be sung fast and with a vary of high and low pitches. He never could get the high parts like they did in the play, but Gavin did his best with the voice he had. "In conspicuous Sweeney was, Quick and quite and clean 'e was. Back of his smile, under his word, Sweeney heard music that nobody heard. Sweeney pondered and Sweeney planned, Like a perfect machine 'e planned. Sweeney was smooth, Sweeney was subtle, Sweeney would blink and rats would scuttle." As Gavin sang that part he was slowly moving back and out of the spotlight until at the next part. "Sweeney! Sweeney! Sweeney! Sweeney! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeneeeeeey!" Gavin's baritone voice rang out in the room before he stepped back into the spotlight with slight messed up hair that he did while out of the spotlight and put on a deranged kind of look as if he was Sweeney Todd himself who stepped out on stage just like in the musical.
He looked at everyone in front of him keeping the deranged look. "Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd. He served a dark and a vengeful god," Gavin sang in his clear baritone voice. "What happened then, well that's the play, and he wouldn't want us to give it away." He wagged his finger at the audience and shook his head keeping the scary look on his face. "Not Sweeney, not Sweeney Todd, The demon barber of Fleet Street," Gavin sang the last part quickly to keep in tune with the melody his voice created before he jumped out of the spotlight and into the dark to signal the end of the opening.
Wow that was fun. I knew they were wrong when they told me I watch that show way too many time, he thought letting out a loud breath before going back into the spotlight and took his bow, his ebony black wings stretching out a little behind him. "Thank you, thank you, no pictures. I am willing to autograph arms, necks, faces, etc." Gavin said with a laugh and wink at the class.

Sky was completely enthralled by Gavin's performance, for once in a rare moment she sat there speechless. Her sky blue eyes were following his every movement and his voice made her pleasantly shiver as the clear baritone rang across the room and through her head. Holy shit, he is SO hot. He looks so like, crazy! That's not that hot wingman that always had a smile for me, that's like a hot crazy barber! And Ohmagod what a voice! Why haven't I messed around with him yet?! Sky thought with her mouth open a bit as she stared at Gavin in awe.
When he finished, she stood up and clapped loudly, whistling and whooping. "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING!" Sky said clapping, her mouth still dropped open a bit. "Damn Gavin, I heard you sing before but wow. You should play a crazy person on Broadway, cause damn that was so HOT!" Sky said still in awe. "Ok no seriously that was hot. Like really hot. Like I would totally ask you out right now hot. Damn, where are flowers to throw when I need them?!" She elbowed Lian as if it was her fault that she didn't have any flowers.
"Seriously, I only saw the movie, but Gavin if you're ever inthe show I am so going. And I call going as your date to the cast party cause that was so hot!" Sky said with an awed smile, her mouth still open.

Veronika was impressed enough to clap loudly for Gavin, while have only given Katana a polite and crisp clap. Now that is a performance. Such passion and oh may what a voice. Then again, he could have just stood there and whistled a song out of tune and still have been a phenomenal performance next to that sorry excuse of a performance that piece of filth recited. That was god-awful and just pathetic. She is not fit to call herself a drama student, let alone a performer. She smiled at Gavin dazzlingly and fluttered her large eyes. "That was simply incredible Gavin. I must say that you have a beautiful voice. And with your wing you look and sing as if you were Viking God," she said with a sweet smile.
Looking over at her best friend who had been 'tortured' by Gavin for months now, Veronika let a small smirk flash through her smile. "Are you sure it is really so terrible to be tortured by someone with such a lovely voice? I of course wouldn't stand for it, but the amazing voice does make it worth it no?" she said with a giggle at her poor friend. Her and Gavin constantly tormented each other and it was rather amusing to watch. Veronika went into a fit of adorable giggles at Sky's comments and cheers.
"I do say she does have a point. It is rather 'hot' yes?" she said with a giggle looking at Kris and Kevin. "That was almost as good as your performance last class Kevin," Veronika added with a wink. Oh I simply adore these two. I cannot wait for mother to meet them!

Clapping so hard his hands hurt Kevin smilled over at Allure. "Oh no way he just made me look like Eric Roberts- and that guy sucks!" he giggled. "Woahooowaa! Bravo!" Kevin yelled a hooting noise and kept right on clapping.
"Yeah what Sky said but less curse words!!" he said loving how Gavin was so talented. He was a great singer and he was feeling quite lucky to be an artist like him on the same team and with their team leader an artist too. This school was the best place he had ever been, and even though he was better in Colossus's class he really really enjoyed Nightcrawler's class too.
He finaly couldn't clap any more because his hands hurt so much so he curled his tounge in his mouth just right and did a high piched whistle. Then he raised his hands up fanning them this way and that to clap like the deaf people did. He very much liked Gavin's preformence. He knew he would have to step his game way up after that show.

A smirk returned on Heather's face when Nightcrawler called him up. That's what you deserve, she thought bitterly. Gavin was going to have a huge bruise on his other arm once class was over; Heather was already planning her attack. As she felt her shoulder get flicked she swung her leg to kick Gavin right on his rear. She missed unfortunately, making her even more irritated. Folding her arms, Heather narrowed her eyes again and watched as the Acolyte chose his poison.
During the performance, Heather was amazed. She knew he could sing since she was lucky enough to hear Gavin during his jam sessions. Sometimes he would play classics and she would join along. She didn't have a great voice but it was tolerable and she definitely wasn't tone deaf. Her irritation was replaced with content for the performance was rather good. He obviously knew the words, making Heather remember the actual show. It was a close similarity when it came to the mood of the stage.
When it was over, Heather began clapping as enthusiastically as Veronika and Sky. However remembering she was still annoyed at the boy, she slowed down and gave the same smattering of applause that Lian gave Leah. She narrowed her eyes again and then adjusted herself in her seat to make it clear to Gavin the battle wasn't over.
Looking over to Veronika, Heather rolled her eyes and giggled. "He is a pain in the ass," she whispered quickly. "And he is going to get it later." She finished clapping and then rested her head on her hands while her elbows sat on the top of her desk.

God he is freaking HOT! Lian differed from her best friend however when it came to expressing hormones. While Sky acted retarded and Lian smirked in response, Lian clapped enthusiastically showing Gavin that he really was a great performer. "Maybe Gavin can show Leah some tips!" she yelled over the spirited crowd. She continued to clap and then gave up once her hands started to feel sore.
"Damn it Sky calm the hell down!" she said after Sky hit her for "the flowers" she apparently needed to have. Lian retaliated by forcing her friend to sit back down. "Pounce on him later woman. Control yourself." She giggled and then waited to see who would be called on next.

After her performance Katana sat down to the smattering of less than enthusiastic applause. It was always this way. No matter how bad or good her other classmates were they always got a nice round of applause and no matter how good Katana's performance was it always got just enough to keep Nightcrawler from calling people out for bad behavior, and no more. These performances were technically unprepared but Nightcrawler called on people to perform so often that Katana always prepared something just in case. Well, that and she really liked performing...all except for the reactions of her classmates. I worked hard on that. Memorizing all that crap was difficult. Getting all the emotions right and showing them was no picnic either. And they act like I did nothing. freak them. She also could overhear Ripple's little comment about her gender and was not at all amused. Still, she wanted to do well here, so she grimaced and said nothing.
When Nightcrawler criticized the performance as not including enough description of setting Katana's cheeks burned. I'm not good enough for him either...Great...the one class I'm not failing. I bust my butt...and why?
She was brooding when Gavin went up to act and did a rather spectacular job singing the intro song from Sweeney Todd. When he was finished the whole class went crazy and Katana did too, clapping loudly and genuinely. It had been fun to watch. The guy was a jerk but he could act. However, when the reaction to Gavin's scene was not just praise for him but more denigrating comments about her own performance, Katana had it.
Turning to Ripple she said, "Ok, you've had your nice little jokes. Heck I joke around too sometimes, but there's a difference here. The difference is that what you say is intended to be cruel. It's intended to hurt; not just be banter. Well freak you. And freak all your friends. You think I'm stupid. I can tell that you and your little in crowd hate me and want to tear me down no matter what I do." she continued looking not just at Ripple but also at Allure and her friends. "Well just freak off." she said and stormed out of the classroom.

Ricki rolled her eyes as Gavin walked up to the stage, getting ready to perform. No sooner was he a couple of seconds into the song, she like everyone else was mesmerized. She knew he could sing exceptionally well, but this was indeed a performance worth applause. Once he was done, it felt like she'd just come out of a trance, she began applauding him along with everyone else, a grin breaking across her face. Though, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at him when he spoke abut autographs.
There next moment; Sky burst out. Ricki's eyes widened as she turned her head to look at Sky. Despite the fact that she'd known that this was normal Skyler behavior, it still shocked her everytime she burst out with something. And sooner or later everyone else was agreeing with her. The fact that Gavin was hot. Is that what they were thinking during his performance!? Ricki blinked as she turned her head away from Sky, to look at Gavin. Ricki'd never really thought of Gavin as dating material... probably because she wasn't looking for anyone to date, being new to the school and all.
He was indeed quite hot... but uh, like he'd ever even notice her in that way. Plus... she was still new to the school, there was still time to hunt down guys and what not. Plus, she was perfectly fine just being friends with him, he was a good guy... but just not someone who striked her as the types for commitment and what not. She pushed the thought out of her head, not wanting to ponder over it for too long. She was so deeply involved in her thoughts, that she jumped in her seat as she heard Katana's voice echo through the room. Ricki's eyes snapped over to her, the girl looked stupidly pissed off. The next thing Ricki knew was that Katana was out the door. Ricki blinked, her eyes staring the spot where Leah'd dissppeared

Sky was a pretty mellow person for the most part, it took a lot to get her annoyed since she took everything in stride and didn't let anything phase her. "Wow," she said looking after Katana as she had a tantrum again and burst out the class. "That was totally uncalled for. I mean I get her getting pissed of at Lian, but what the hell? Veronika didn't do anything, she was clapping the whole time for both her and Gavin and she didn't comment at all for her. Seriously, I mean she's a total bitch to you Veronika and its really starting to annoy the shit out of me cause you been cool and nice as hell to her and she doesn't deserve it for squat," Sky commented out loud and looked over at her Team leader.
"I know you said we should give her a chance, but seriously Nightcrawler, that was bull. Gavin did an awesome job and she just threw a tantrum because he nailed it. What the hell? And then she yelled at Veronika and the others for no reason when they weren't doing anything, just being cool as usual. I'm sick of it," she said and slumped back down in her seat.
Sky just didn't get Katana. After two months, she decided that girl must have some serious psychological issues. The one realization that Sky had about living in a boarding school alone was that time seemed to go by longer than usual. Two weeks felt like two and a half months, and a month felt like half a year. When you see the same people every moment of every day, eat with them, have classes with them, hang out with them and do activities with them, you get closer to them much quicker because of all the bonding time that you wouldn't have if you went to a normal school and went home at night. Sky had formed some close bonds with a good number of people, especially her team. Her, Lian and Chase were inseparable most of the time, Veronika was an awesome chick that Sky couldn't help but like and trust, and even Kris turned out to be really cool, though he was obviously the kinda guy who liked Sex and the City a little too much. Katana though, just was a plain out bitch for no reason. If she's not with us after all this time, I don't think she'll ever be cool with any of us. And I'm not gonna try anymore, she thought stubbornly and pissed off.
"Gavin, you still rocked! Seriously I would totally insist for an encore. And you're like already hot, but your voice just makes you hotter. Hey wanna sing again and make me feel better?" Sky asked with a wink in her usual blunt manner. Sky was known to be extremely blunt and to the point, saying things that others wouldn't dare to say, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how its looked at.

“Yea, thanks for the warning Ricki, I’ll remember that the next time.” Torri mumbled, folding her arms on the desk and resting her chin on them as she watched her fellow students give their performance. She hoped this was going to be one of those days where she wasn’t going to be picked on, it was terrible how bad her stage fright could get and she wasn’t going to risk fainting and losing all colour to never be seen. That would just be a nightmare.
Seeing as how both Katana and Gavin had both performed she knew it would only be one more student at least to go. She could be relieved after that and simply calm down ready to tire out in P.E. The most hated of her subjects so far, Wolverine was kind of scary in the way he sort of smiled whenever someone said they’re legs hurt or they where too tired to go on. He was mean sometimes, but outside of class he seemed generally like the kind of person that could be trusted.
“Well done Gavin, that was really good. Kinda … scary … but you’re a really good singer.” She commented as her team mate retrieved his seat. His mutation was very popular with many people it seemed as from the rest of the school, he had became very popular very quick.
Her head shot up in fright at the outburst from Katana and her angry yelling at people. ’WHY does she always feel the need to swear?! I for one don’t appreciate it, I don’t know about anyone else but come on! We’re at a school!’ The young Acolyte sighed and ducked her head down again, almost hitting it off the table and mumbling ‘shut up’ repeatedly as she tried to block out the talk about her. She didn’t like her, she wasn’t nice and didn’t feel bad about swearing all over the place. Despite coming from where she had back in Scotland she knew when it was and was not acceptable to use vulgar words.
