On the way from breakfast, Tia'd bumped into Sean who seemed like he was on his way from the boy's toilets. Tia'd stopped him at that point and thanked him for being really nice to her the previous evening. Tia hadn't been able to thank him then, because she'd just felt really shocked and tired, and pretty much headed off to bed early after having something to eat for dinner. Tia was now making her way to class with Sean, speaking to him about her powers seeing he was just as ready as Frosty was to listen to her little comments about her powers and how she was still researching on all the different things she could do - he didn't give her the attitude that people often gave Torri, that kind of "aww, look little kid!" attitude. He spoke to her properly, like he was speaking to anyone and actually looked like he cared. Tia was almost starting to think of him as a brother-figure, but she was still a bit wary.
Tia'd entered the classroom just in time to see Heather kiss Gavin's cheek and unintentionally out of curiosity, she'd had the wind bring Heather's word to her. She looked really different to how she did normally, and her hair looked different too. Tia didn't get a chance to see Veronika or Heather the previous night because she'd gone to bed early, but seriously - Heather looked very different. Tia wasn't sure if it was a good different or bad different, but she definitley looked a lot more girly. Did she FINALLY realize she likes him? Well it's about time... well I hope it goes well after class. She really likes him.

"SAY UNCLE," Lian screamed. "SAY IT!!" Having Sky's head locked in Lian's left arm was more than humorous to the Asian Paragon. Sky had the balls to wake Lian up with several water balloons that morning just because she could. Lian had no problem getting her back while noogying her the entire way to English class. "SAY LIAN IS THE SHIT AND SKY IS THE POOP OF NEW YORK CITY PIGEONS!!" Lian was laughing uncontrollably as Sky squirmed.
Seeing Emma Frost, Lian grinned as she pulled Sky to their usual seats in the back of the room. "Mornin' Ms. Frost," she said as she pulled Sky's head harder. "Caught myself so fresh fish." She tugged at Sky's head again with a larger laugh and made sure to watch out of any of Sky's antics. The girl was anything but innocent; this Lian knew indefinitely.

Sean was grinning at Tia when they walked in, carrying his books and assignments in his arms. "You know if ya combine them powers of yours with Hotwire's and Heather, ya'll can start a regular storm. Just like the Queen of Wakanda can, she used to be an X-Men ya know," he told her and then stopped to greet Ms. Frost, cause she was a real nice lady and he liked her a lot. "Good mornin' Ms. Frost, lovely day ain't it?" he said tipping his cowboy hat to her as was customary to do for any lady. He really liked the Headmistress, just like he did most of the teachers, but she was a real nice lady and really brave. He never gave her any trouble, and always was respectful. Sean couldn't bring himself to be difficult for any teachers, but especially her. She was really brave in Limbo, and he couldn't begin to thank her for helping them get through it.
Taking a seat next to his Katie girl, Sean smiled at her and then gestured to Tia. "Come sit with us Tia, we usually sit on the side and you're more than welcome to join," he offered and brought the chair out so she can join them. Tia was a really sweet girl when you looked past the first glance, just like his little Katie girl was. He thought that they might get along just the same, but Sean had always been able to look past first impressions and get to know the person on the inside. "Thanks for waitin' for me little lady, did ya finish the homework last night?" he asked taking out his stuff.

Slipping in behind Sean and giving him a slight slap on the shoulder as he went past; Jasper praised god he wasn't late again. Punishment from Emma was like nothing he had ever experienced before. And it did it's job in preventing him from ever lagging behind again; he couldn't put up with any more Detention or extra chores. It was unbearable in this house! "Halo" He said quickly, finding one of the spare seats by the back and folding his arms on the desk quickly. Throwing the books on his desk and fishing a pen from his pocket.
At times he wondered why he even attended English class. He was German, and had no intention of ever passing an English grade. But with the Headmistress taking the class it was hard to refuse her.
Somewhere close by he saw Rumble sitting, his face smug. It was difficult not to notice him, he was older than some of the students by almost a decade. His presence though did alot more than pose the age of puzzle of how many years he got held back. for Onyx it was difficult to fight the urge to see him as an idol. He wished to get back that carefree attitude he had lost upon coming here. He missed how reckless he used to be. Driving through the roads of Germany without a care or a license for that matter.
the only thing stopping him from doing so here was Cyclops. The guy held those keys tighter than his mother had a wet dishcloth when it snapped at him. 'I can't talk to him, he's a college student. And a Hellion. They talk to no-one. But Damn. When i turn eighteen I'm so asking to get into their team. I couldn't stand being so ... well behaved all the time. But ... then again the girls in that team are HOT. Aideen included. Hellions = power, Corsairs = work. I know where I wanna go.' He thought. Smirking to himself at the last notion in his head.

"Oh, I guess she'll be along..." Niki said of her room mate, "that's why the extra books. These here are Aideen's, she asked me to bring them for her so I suppose she knew she'd be cutting it close." Niki flashed a look at him, eyebrows raised, to let him know she knew something he didn't.
"Bacon? It doesn't smell like bacon, uggh." Haven rolled her eyes as she fanned the air teasing him about his manners. Nodding a greeting to Emma as she passed, she looked sideways at Ivy not wanting to catch whatever she had and hoping that she was all better, she was actually there with her in the kitchen that night it first hit her hard. The two girls had bumped into each other after sneaking down for snacks, it was quite funny now that Niki remembered it. They were sneaking around, each unaware the other was there, when just like in a movie they backed into each other.
The fright was enough to send Haven's shield up instantly and a good thing too, for in that moment the sniffles Ivy had been dealing with...the ones she kept saying must be allergies...erupted into a full blown sneezing fit. The toxic expulsion from her body, her nose, mouth and every pore of her skin was enough to kill the plants on the windowsill and rot the fruit in the bowl within seconds. "Hey girl, welcome back to the big bright world. I been locked up in that dungeon myself I know it feels good to be out finally huh?"
Haven's confinement in the sub-basement laboratory of Dr. McCoy had been a far more malicious and disciplinary chapter in her life than the sojourn that Nightshade had just experienced. It wasn't without a bright side though as Niki had parlayed her way into becoming Beast's assistant when needed. Matriculating from prisoner to test tube jockey, and helping him when she could to think outside the box. It had been Haven herself who had on most days brought Ivy's assignments down to her, so she knew she was better, but she had seen the effects that first evening and did not want any parts of her relapsing. She hadn't spoken much to her though as the poor thing had really been laid out so Gavin catching her up as he did was rather funny.
For a tough and soulful guy StormHawk sure did love the gossip. He was adorable as he caught Nightshade up to speed on 'current events' with the team. Having them all together again felt good and once Kevin showed up the core of the team would be present. The team was feeling right again and with Ricki finally cutting the apron strings and Tori and Lorelai gone things were going to be much, much cooler. Katana would be the only thing holding them back, but she hoped that Mato might have worked some shamantastic mojo on her. If not then an old fashioned ass kicking would have to do.
Like the kind she and Ian had given to old Rumble. As she sat she looked to the front of the class where he was playing teacher's pet. The puppy dog eyes were a cute touch she had to admit, but the best part of seeing him was seeing the new bruises on his face and knowing her best friend had finally gotten a chance to stick up for herself and stick it to him. She was relieved it had ended without bloodshed, but only for the fact that Aideen wouldn't have to pay the ultimate penalty for killing... consequences being one thing that Ms. Frost had already taught the curvy Latina Acolyte.

Mason entered the class with Tracy and Kelly, books under one arm and anxious for the class to begin and finish so he could get the hell out of here for the weekend. "Burns, try not to piss Emma off today huh? Keep the boob comments to a minimum," he said pushing the guy's shoulder before he moved to the back to take his usual seat with his team. His sharp dark gold eyes flicked around the class, frowning slightly when he didn't see Aideen. After the team drill session he held yesterday, she disappeared into the night ever the ninja, making Mason lose his chance to talk to her about the next day. Now for the first time, he came to class before her. Probably running late, or avoiding have to deal with asshat over there. After yesterday though, she should be happy to be by him, he thought with a slight smirk on his serious face before it fell away.
Looking at his girl, Mason's face softened a bit from his usual hard expression. Things have been hectic lately, with the team practices he'd been piling on the team every other night and the midterms that just finished, he hadn't spent as much time with Tracy as he would have liked. She understood, she always did, but it didn't make up for the fact that he missed spending more time with her. This weekend though, that was when he would make it up to her. He would be winning some money, relaxing at the warehouse and spending time with his girl and one of his closest friends. They could all use a break from the school, Aideen in particular and they could finally get it this week.
Mason reached over to put his hand on her thigh and squeezed lightly. "Just a couple of hours doll, and I get you all to myself," he said quietly and looked at her with softened eyes. Giving her thigh one more squeeze, he let go and turned back to the class, glancing at Tracy's sweet face.

Ariel cracked her neck as she walked into the classroom where there was starting to get a buildup of students filing in. Today, she figured, ought to be a good day. She could think about how freaking awesome and hot it was to see Aideen completely kick the shit out of Rumble and then be a second away from killing him. She had stopped to watch and she replayed it in her mind afterwards for kicks because it was just so great, although she couldn't have imagined Aideen to be that happy. Rumble had to have really said something that was just enough to get her to crack. But hey, it was awesome even though Iceman stopped her.
Then today, there was the whole getting away for the weekend thing that Ariel was completely looking forward to. It was only a matter of hours before she and Mato could get the hell out of there and upstate to the Catskills to camp and chill out for the weekend. They would be away from the school, away from the drama, away from it all and it was going to be great. It was going to be great for the whole team, actually, since Ariel learned that Aideen, Mason and Tracy were heading up to Boston for the weekend as well. It would probably do them all a world of good to get away for a couple days and she was glad they were all able to do it. Kelly would probably be fine staying at the school, he was always blissfully ignorant of most of the bigger things.
Of course, before she was in a way home free, Cyclops did give her a small talking to before giving her his official permission, since Ariel figured he would give it to her anyway. All he told her were things she had heard before when it came to fighting that she should be more wary about the battles she picked, and to make sure they were her own. She clearly understood what he meant by that, and knew that she had to restrain herself with that little unfortunate trait of hers, especially when it came to Rumble. Ariel knew that she shouldn’t have interfered, and that Aideen was well capable of handling things herself as she proved to everyone just yesterday, but Ariel knew herself well enough to know that sometimes she couldn’t help herself because she got so angry. It was something Ariel figured she might ask Mato for help with, to control her anger, to be able to remain calm when she normally wouldn’t, and to have a longer fuse.
At least for now her conscience was clear and she was in a good mood when she sat down with the rest of the Corsairs. Aideen wasn’t there yet, but Ariel figured she would probably be there shortly. She wasn’t constantly late really, but for gym class she had been, and she wasn’t here before everyone else. That title went to Rumble today, and no surprise since he was looking like he was kissing up to Emma, sitting up in the front of the class and everything. Ariel dropped her bag and took out the books she needed and put them on her desk before sitting down, crossing one leg over the other and leaning back casually. She smirked at Mason being all tender and touchy with Tracy –for him, at least- and shook her head. “Counting down the minutes till you guys can leave? Bet you can’t wait to jump her in your car before you even leave,” she joked with a laugh, winking at the two before speaking again. “Don’t threaten me now, I just can’t resist teasing you two. It’s too much fun, and I’m gonna make sure I stay in a good mood until I get to leave too.” She looked at Mason with a mock scared face before smirking again as she teased him and grinned afterward, waiting for the rest of everyone else so class could start and time could pass.

Katana covered her mouth with her hand as yet another large yawn escaped as she walked into English class. Damn. I shouldn't have put this stupid thing off, she thought to herself about her extra credit paper. Between this and the homework I didn't sleep a bit. And now her she was entering English class completely slagged, and worried she would fall asleep right in the middle of Ms. Frost's lecture as she had so many times before. That was different though, she told herself. It's not like I stayed up all night watching TV like all those other times... Right, like if I tell Ms. Frost 'But it was only 'cause I was doing all the homework' she'll forgive my napping. You gotta stay awake. Should of had coffee or something. Slowly Katana approached Ms. Frost's desk, gave her a solemn nod hello, and slipped her paper onto it. She then walked to the back of the room, waving to Haven along the way.
She started to sit down in her desk but thought better of it. I never really see anything back here anyway and I'll probably just fall asleep. Plus, Ms. Frost said to raise my hand more. Works better if I'm up front. The problem was that there were not many seats up front. Maybe I can drag the chair up. Nah, that'll be loud and disruptive. Scanning the room again she spotted a chair up by the front on the left hand side of Ms. Frost's desk. It was out just in front of the first row of chairs as if it was specially set aside for somebody. She certainly didn't remember it being there last class. Like you even remember much of last class., she scoffed to herself in her head. Cautiously walking up to the lone chair she timidly asked Ms. Frost, "Is this new chair for me? If not, can I have one up front too 'cause I'm not doing so well in the back."

"Oh Ariel" Tracy smirked "ever the lovely flower. So very demure and ladylike" she giggled. She always teased when Ariel's tomboy side showed through. It was rare but whenever her roughness surfaced Tracy had to mess with her. "Jumping in cars, classy reeeal classy." Still smiling she took her index finger and wagged it back and forth making a tisk-tisk-tisk sound.
The emotions in the classroom were settled, at least somewhat, from how high and flighty they had been for some time now. It was as if everything had built up to a bursting point and popped. HeartString was glad for it. She heard what had gone down and even though she worried what his retaliation might entail she knew Ember was well within her rights to stick up for herself and put Rumble in his place.
She had applauded when she heard the story. Mouth open, eyes bright and she was truly happy for Aideen. More for the released emotions she was feeling as they emanated from her teammate. She had worried about Aideen for so long now. In Tracy's estimations it was a good thing what had happened, she was ever the optimist. Seeing the glass as half full was in her nature.

Upon entering the classroom, the first thing that Mato did was bow respectfully to Emma Frost first to greet her. He performed that custom with all the teachers, for it was always wise to respect the ones who took the time in their lives to teach others. Smiling and nodding to his team, he sat down in the seat close to the front, usually right next to where Aideen sat. Mato was surprised that he beat her to class for once but didn't worry. There were still several minutes left before class officially started and he knew the Fire Beauty would never miss a class. A smile went back on his face, thinking of the peaceful ride he took this morning on his Buckskin all the way to the cliffs in time to meet the sunrise and gives thanks to the Wise One in the Sky for granting them another day and giving them a gift of such a lovely welcome.
Mornings were his moment of relaxation, and he used them well. Mato would come into class relaxed and ready to look at everything from a clear perspective. This morning would not be unlike any others he assumed, though admittedly enough he was rather looking forward to the weekend in the forest. He often wandered the woods around the school as it was, but to spend time in them like he used to with no boundaries would do him very well. Mato was rather homesick as of late, longing for the activities he used to participate in daily and the endless hours of roaming the woods and finding the connection with his spirit side. This weekend would be literally a breath of fresh air, and he was very much looking forward to it.

Lorelai walked into Miss Frost's class with a smirk on her face. It seemed everyone was flocking to class faster than she thought they would, but at least she was still on time. After the whole big thing yesterday in Iceman's class, she thought she would be doing a very bad job of performing her 'nursely' duties if she didn't attend to her patient after the beating handed to him on a fiery platter. She waited for a bit, though, since dear Rumble didn't look amused like normal, so just in case she kept away until she figured it would be safe, so to speak. She even changed into a makeshift nurse's outfit after drying off just for kicks- a white camisole and skirt when she went to see him. At least she was doing her so called job.
As she passed by Miss Frost, her smirk grew slightly more pronounced. It wasn't like the headmistress had to be a mind reader to figure what was going on in that noggin of hers since she had already pretty much shown what she was going to be doing. It didn't change that she was still going to be wary of how she went about things, but what she was doing wasn't going to change.
Lorelai then looked to Rumble and walked up to him. "Hey," she said, smirking as she looked at his face. When he caught her looking, she winked at him. "I've got to look over my patient, don't I?" she said and then looked at the bruise on his face a little bit longer. "You know, only you could make bruises look that good," she said, smirking flirtaciously before walking away to go sit near Tia's other side that had a free seat. So far, Tia seemed to be the only one who, besides Hemlock, still didn't mind dealing with her. After she set her things down and placed her English materials on her desk did she realize that Ivy had returned to the living world. She looked over briefly, seeing her surrounded by the rest of the Acolytes and gave a slight nod, figuring she was being quickly filled in on all the hijinks of what she missed. Lorelai turned back around faced forward, her head tilted slightly as she glanced at Rumble again with an almost curious expression on her face as it again sunk into her head that she was probably in for something bad in the end by going after him. Shaking the thought off, she looked to the front where Miss Frost was and waited for class to begin.

"Yea, yea, whatever you say Mason," Kelly said and practically ran to Emma Frost's desk, stopping short of crashing into it. "Morning Ms. Frost," he said puffing his chest out and putting a large apple on her desk that was suspiciously the same size and shape of one of the new softballs that just came in the past weekend. "You look especially lovely today and I am very much looking forward to your class," he said in as much of a proper voice as he could. As usual, Kelly's gaze went right down to her boobs and he stared at them grinning stupidly for a moment before moving to sit right up front in the desk next to Rumble.
Man her boobs look good, even without the usual shirt. They always move just right when she walks. When summer comes there there'll be chicks in bikini's everywhere. I wonder why they call them bikinis? It's really only a bra and underwear that you can swim in. Why cant chicks just use their regular bra and underwear and save time? Emma probably does that, but she's smart cause no matter what she wears she can always go swimming or tan. Man that's hot. I gotta go and tell Ariel about this, she'd totally agree, he thought the entire time staring right at Emma Frost's chest with a big grin on his face. "This is the best view, huh Brock man?" he whispered to the Hellion next to him, the silly grin still on his face.

Veronika walked in not far behind Heather, walking confidently as usual and her head swimming in thoughts and smiles. She had a very good day, and a very interesting night. The streak of sadism that seemed to run through the veins of the Kudinov bloodline was ignited at the discussion with her father and Uncle, leaving her in a state of amusement and glee. Veronika was willing to prove to her father just how ruthless and forthcoming she could be in the name of family, leaving no doubt in anyone's mind on who will be running the show one day. Now all that was left was to sit back and watch the show.
The amusement stayed with her even to this point, but Veronika knew how to keep her cool. She acted like she was in nothing more than a very good mood. Another class to spend with these degenerates, not the best way to start my day, but I suppose I must suffer before the inevitable fun begins. With careful lessons from Emma Frost herself, she had been learning how to establish mental blocks and was slowly and surely learning how to do it. She of course knew how to put up the act of a sweet innocent girl, but the Headmistress was hardly fooled. Veronika found herself strangely comfortable with the Headmistress not being fooled. If anything she was proud that someone had a good idea but yet everyone else was fooled easily.
Veronika sat down next to Heather, giving Emma Frost a sweet smile as always before turning to her friend. "I do that you don't choke up when it happens darling. Especially since you must have caught his attention in that outfit," she whispered and winked at her, looking at Gavin from the corner of her eye.

Gavin's eyebrows were raised as he turned to look at Heather walking to her seat, a sort of smile playing on his lips. "Uh yea sure, I'll see you after class," he said blinking for a second as he looked her over. Well that's new. She looks pretty good today, why doesn't she wear skirts more often? he thought blinking for a second. There seemed to be something different about Heather, she was always pretty chill with him but it was like she got a huge boost of confidence or something. It looked really good on her, that was for sure. Gavin grinned and gave her one last look before turning to Ricki.
"Well uh that was interesting," he said feeling the tingling on his lips. He rubbed it off when it stung. "Ow I think she tried to poison me with her lip gloss," Gavin rubbed it off since it stung his cheek. "But yea hey, no problem. This afternoon after art class grab your guitar and we'll do it before practice. Sound good?" he asked with a smile, before looking over at Ivy and winking. "We missed you at practice, its gonna be good to have the core team back together," he said happily, putting it in the back of his mind that Katana would be there too. He waved at Veronika when she walked in and turned back to his two teammates. "Colossus is probably gonna wanna hold a team meeting and stuff, cause of all the changes, but that's kinda expected." Gavin didn't mind chatting a bit before class and just talking about stuff. Besides he'd have to shut up when class started, cause no one screwed around in Emma's class.
He looked over at Heather one more time and grinned at her when he caught her eye. He would need to bother her later, he had a whole afternoon of bothering her to make up for, which he would this weekend. Weather was supposed to be awesome all weekend so that held the potential for him to trap her in a tree again. He just liked bothering her, she was hilarious like that and well, just cool cause he never had a friend like that. A moment ever he stuck his tongue out at her and made a silly face before looking back at Ricki. "I have a lot of bothering to make up for on her end. What do you think, leave her in a tree again or go for the top of the observation tower?" Gavin asked and laughed lightly, rubbing his hands together and putting a mock evil look on his face.

Kat had walked into class trailing just behind Sky and Ripple, walking in her drunken way as she saw the others chit chatting amongst themselves. It seemed that the teammate of hers whose name she had learned was Veronika and the Bubblehead had returned since they hadn't been in yesterday's power class. Kat smirked, amused as she saw the Bubblehead walk in with some sort of newfound confidence up to Gavin and even kissed his cheek. She just couldn't resist going up to her with a girlish giggle, hunching her shoulders slightly as she put a hand over her mouth. "Oh my my, Miss Bubble seems to have gotten some soap with her water. Now she be more bubbly than ever, I do commend ye," she said with another girlish giggle.
"Soapy water stings the eyes though, 'tis not the greatest thing in the world, aye? Should go for something not like that, perhaps something more catlike or even Miss Wonka over there?" Kat asked with a flirty smirk, looking at Gavin with a wink before glancing at Ricki. She had seen how they were with each other the day before and she thought they were quite entertaining, much moreso than Gavin and the Bubblehead. As she finished she looked back to Gavin before turning her head to see the Bubblehead again. Smiling, she made the sound of a 'pop' with her mouth before walking off in her swagger to go sit with her teammates. She giggled again as she sat down, taking her seat as if she were bowing extravagantly. "Oh, bubbles are so easy to burst are they not?" she said to Sky with a last giggle before resting her chin on one hand, her head tilted to the side with an amused smile on her face.
